Simpsons went from the comical life of a lower middle class family to "HMMMMMMMMMMMM WHICH FAMOUS PERSON DO WE MEET TODAY?", it's a mockery of it's past self, on a quality level the writing is plain stupid to a point where I would rather watch The Big Bang Theory than listen to another predictable joke about Homer being a dumb fat fuck, it's not predictable because of being 30 years into making it's predictable because most of the writers left and what's left doesn't have a quality to meet or love for the show to give said quality. If we are to get autistic enough we might even discuss the timeline shift in the Simpsons, where it keeps up with our time but character had the age to match the time they lived 30 years ago (for example Skinner wouldn't have served in Vietnam or else he'd be 60-70)
