and we've hit the magic number!

I'll leave you all on a question. How did you encounter alt culture/guys and what made you like it/em?

I've almost always been into gothic culture in general and then I discovered visual kei around 9-10 years old.
That just solidified my love of both the culture and the men in it.

genuinely don't remember what made me fall in love with it, but angsty, tragic loner characters are often my favourites and most relateable, and they often wear punk/emo fashion, so Ilike it from association.

the TWEWY duology has some pretty fashionable people and Sho Minamimoto wears a lot of punk fashion. There's some good shit you can buy from the store as well but unfortunately the party only wear their default design in battles.

ok here's the last of the stuff I have that's gonna fit in here nicely. Granted some people literally just posted hoodies in the last thread but eh.

Always been a fan of all-black outfits and dangly metal things and straps on clothes. These kinds of fashions just combine all the things I like!
The message and lifestyle are pretty tight, too.
Based, nice to see people who don't just buy into the asthetic but also the message

OP from last thread, but a great pic nonetheless. Would be an expensive fit to aquire though
yeah, didn't want the thread to die, and it's a very impressive pic.
Jeans and shirt probably not very expensive, though metal and boots might be the expensive part. Though you can reduce the amount of bling by a bit.
Do anyone even make such boots in okay quality? Demonia crap is all show but no go.
I've noticed the hair seems always molested by bleach and paint. Would a natural light brown color fit in?
So long as it's styled well any colour can work
seems difficult
If yours is thick enough anything is possible

Does this count? I'm interested, but don't know too much about it.

Can you tell me what the message is? All I ever heard about was it was social defiance, but that surely isn't everything.
Whilst it isn't the same for it all, it can differ cross over and so on. I'd say it's largely anti authoritarian and to some extent anarchic.
Distrusting government, institutions like the police and doing whatever the hell you want without the constraints of societal judgment so long as you aren't hurting someone else.

I think I get it, so it's something like an anti-authoritarian, individualistic thing.
>doing whatever the hell you want without the constraints of societal judgment so long as you aren't hurting someone else.
That seems pretty admirable honestly.

Anyway, thank you for explaining it to me!
With these sorts of things, it's a sort of "you ask 3 people you'll get 3 different answers" kinda ordeal kek. But yeah I'd say that's the gist of it. Being a rebel/being unorthodox

As ironic as it feels to say with the mainstream appeal it's somewhat garnered these days
