Suguru Geto from JJK is probably my favourite example of this archetype "the one that got away" I feel like JJK balances him out nicely, but from what I've seen I feel like Naruto has the issue of putting a lot of its eggs in the villains baskets. Obito, pain & Madara are so likable you end up getting pissed off when the actual MC is back on screen (or atleast I was simmering their clips kek)
