Sometimes I even see you gazing at him/staring passionately at him" depending on your translation. Yuujin says that Haru is his protagonist and that just being around him sets his mind at ease. They walk together under cherry blossoms while Haru blushes up at Yuujin.Spoiler, but a big plot point in the show is Yuujin essentially making a contract that he's willing to sacrifice his life for Haru, and he tells him this while they stand under the sunset together. "But a part of me definitely wants to give my life to protect you." So yes, most of the fandom believes their relationship is meant to be romantic. It's just not outright stated because it's a kid's show. But let's be real, if they were a boy and a girl saying the shit they say to each other, and looking at each other the way they do, there would be no question.
