most, if not all, post 2016 youtube 'celebrities' are hand picked and pushed to the front page artifically because they are sympathetic to and support [current thing]. essentially, he's a paid shill.

the [current thing] right now is to convience you to voluntarily lower your standards of living so you wont be upset when inflation, supply chains, ect forcibly lowers your standard of living in the next 10 years. You must give up meat so you wont riot when meat is taken away from you at some point in the future. They tried making fake bean-meat, nobody liked it. They tried pushing bugs, but thats gross. So now here's your third false choice: just eat beans and sauce :D

ignore these narratives. continue to eat what you want. if you cant get it from the store, just grow it yourself. chickens literally make more chickens, its so easy.

Paranoia is treatable!
Go help yourself.
But before: go back to your containment board and do it like the F├╝hrer.

You almost got it, all of those things are being artificiality exacerbated to boil the frog, to ease people into the realities of socialism

His arguments are trash, but the idea isn't horrible tbqh. It shouldn't be forced though, just talked about a bit.
I've dug up a really old family cookbook from the late 18th century and it's interesting to see how rare meat was in many instances, and what sorts of other foods were eaten on a daily basis. I'm not even making a moral argument here, but a pretty hedonistic /ck/ argument: Most Western societies and especially the younger generations have largely forgotten how to cook without meat - it sucks that we've forgotten so many great foods. I live in Germany and it's actually kinda disgusting that the go-to solution for an uninspired evening of cooking basically boils down to "put a lot of low quality meat in pan". It goes to the point where some of my friends / relatives genuinely need a good serving of meat daily, or they'll unironically get upset.
It also sucks how picky we've gotten with meat on a societal level. Chicken breast and 3-4 cuts of steak with the occasional chicken thighs, turkey or pork chops- that's it. We've forgotten so many good recipes. In fact, we've kinda grown to hate organs or joints and what not. Visited family once and had homemade pork knees. With the exception of myself and some older people, everyone was flat out disgusted by it (and unironically went for McDonalds instead).

What I'm trying to say is, that we should expand our food palette, not limit it like Ragusea suggests. If we do that, meat consumption both in percent and in absolutes will decrease imho, while we'll have an overall better diet.

But again, never force anyone into anything like that.

>soy
Definitely that

>chef
No, he's not that. His videos are just inept, especially when you compare them to professional chef videos. His frying video directly exposes his incompetence. The smoking thing he did recently was so fucking terrible, but hopefully idiots who like him will kill themselves following his example.

Even the climate shills are backing away from getting people to change and are instead shifting blame onto oil companies for "marketing personal responsibility" to them.
>>
>>18612537
Of all he stupid shit he's said, this is a legit strategy for reducing meal prep time and stress. I am often stuck with a large volume of leftovers due to my smokers, and this is not a bad problem to have. Heck, making a pot of curry and jarring it for the week is super easy and I do it every now and then. Besides, if you know a lot of stuff about home cooking, you can turn leftovers into different meals.

No idea how any of that connects to saving the planet, but he is a retard for those kind of bullshit claims. The above strategy is actually more likely to result in food waste if shit goes bad before you use it. Maybe compared to eating out, but even then you'd need to prove that the economy of scale of fast food isn't worse than a wasteful home cook with data.

actually he just pays youtube to occasionally put his videos on the front page like all relevant channels

I think looking back to the 18th century isn't looking back far enough in the past. For hundreds of thousands, probably millions, of years our ancestors scavenged and then hunted animals as their primary source of subsitance. We are carnivores, that retained a limited ability to digest some plants. We are not made to thrive on a plant based diet, our gut is not equipped to do the necessary steps of fermentation to extract quality nutrition out of plants, like herbivores do, cows, kangaroos, literally anything but us. The cellulose we eat goes right through, and most of the nutrients that are indeed in plants are not available to us. Just look at all the comparative data on amino acid distribution and bioavailability in plant protein versus animal protein.
It's not and hedonistic problem, its a health problem. Eating less meat is not sustainable, for the sake of human civilization. And the idea that meat is responsible for climate change is extremely overplayed. For instance we have reached the levels of carbon emissions from cattle in north america that are the very same levels as naturally existed from the herds of bisons naturally romaing in the vast plains before european conquest. There are ways to produce meat with little impact. It's the way we produce meat, the quality of the animal feeds, and the quality of the plants that we feed ourselves that need changing, not our dietary habits. More meat based would mean eating closer to nose to tail so we would in fact rediscover great recipes, and even more when people wake up to the fact that dietary fat isn't the enemy.
Adam doesn't have a point, he just guilt trips people into feeling bad for eating normally, because that makes him better than the average and elevates his ego. He falls into the usual self loathed denial of existence of the western world, he takes great satisfaction in the pain of making himself personally responsible of all the world's problems, like the west likes to do for some reason

>there are no non-ruminant herbivorous animals
That's the only thing I got out of your ESL-tier ramble of a post, and it was retarded. 2/10
>>
>>18613942
huh? Literally nothing you wrote was true. Humans are omnivores, yes- we eat meat, and definitely need it as a source of some vitamins that aren't easy to come by in nature. But this revisionist 'humans are carnivores' shit needs to stop. Hunting animals is incredibly calorie intensive at the best of times, especially for ancient man who lacked access to more advanced tools and food preservation methods.

say I keep culling the flock to weed out roosters (because having too mant roosters around would waste feed and add to flock irritating and aggression,) would the resulting incest make my eggs and meat (for schitzels and chickienuggies) lower in quality?
