I just received a care package from my family in Italy. One thing that stood out to me was the ingredients on this pane fressa.

Flour water yeast salt

In America, I can not find anything without a dictionary for an ingredient list. You might not see this unless you go to Europe but I felt like at least showing you an example of why Italians shit on American food

>hey Mario what do we put on the ingredients list?
>Shut up Luigi I'm jerking it to cuck porn. Just put whatever traditional recipes calls for. No one will know and our retarded government has zero food safety standars.

Pane Fressa is literally just pizza dough made into flatbread.

Do you not know how to read or are you just too lazy to look for quality? I wonder how some of you dumb motherfuckers even manage to solve the captcha.

I know as much as anyone that there's a lot of bad food products in America, but come on. It is absolutely possible to find plenty of pasta and bread products that are organic and have simple ingredients like that.

It’s less that you can’t find it, more that it’s uncommon. In Italy, a bread shop is common and ubiquitous. In France you also get shops where all they do is butter. I just hope I can impart the idea that food in America is awful and takes a lot of effort to eat decently whereas in Italy it’s much easier.

>Be USA
>have FDA
>FDA anal about declaring everything that goes into food
>end up with verbose but accurate ingredient lists

>be italian mafia
>cut flour with smegma
>label it as flour cause your lazy government can't even complete a full term let alone enforce food safety

Why would a shop only sell butter? That sounds so inconvenient.
>get off work
>have to pick up some groceries on the way home
>butter store is closest, go there first
>next go to bakery
>egg store cashier smiled at me, later virgins
>tortilla store was closed for some mexican holiday
>go to legume store. Only 5 or 6 more stops to go
>pick up cigarettes from my usual smoke shop
>buy coffee beans from the exotic imports bazaar
>tin of beans from the specialty tinned beans boutique
>go out to the country to slaughter a chicken
>chuck offers me the 2 for 1 deal
>only one stop to go, gotta drop by the salt mines for some salt
>get home and enjoy a nice meal with fresh ingredients.
Just give it to me all in one place. My grocery store bakes lovely bread fresh daily. I can get everything I need to cook white people food. If I want indian or asian I may have to go to a specialty store for something specific, but odds are they carry it at my grocery store.

You must be kidding, Italian food regulation is order of magnitude strictier than american
When italian companies export food they throw parties because they can sell shit that in italy would have been illegal
