What's your favorite kind of fish /ck/?For me, it's the pomfret.
>>16444733I love mackerel as ceviche
>>16444733I like raw tuna moreCooked probably salmon
>>16444725I like Bassa and Plaice, not a massive fan of fish but it's good stuff.
>>16444725Turbot is amazing, black bass as well.
>>16444725What a ridiculous name for a fish. It's not a fried potato at all!I'm a turbotman when I can get it at a decent price, which isn't often.
>>16444725lol what a retard looking fish
>>16444725Monkfish, bluefin tuna, mackerel
>>16444725I do not eat fish because I am not a self hating coastie who is ashamed of western civilization and the traditional family unit. Two genders: man, woman. Two foods: steak, whisky. You know who eats fish? China! You know who took our jobs? China! Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, that's what my daddy always said and that was good enough until critical race theory came along and said we have to apologize for being white.
Fried: Halibut or GrouperBlackened: SnapperGrilled: Mahi MahiRaw: Ahi
>>16446169Lots of people with little dicks don't eat fish. It's OK.

>>16446331I do like cod, just like the others better. As for salmon, I like it pretty much every way. It's the one I always have some of in the freezer, even if it's not my favorite. Though I make it for lunch quite a bit when I've got a little time. Seasoned with just a little salt and pepper, broiled a few minutes, and put on a sandwich with whole wheat toast, lettuce, tomato, & avocado.
>>16444725>sushi:Tuna, Salmon, Yellow tail, Eel>Cooked (grilled, fried, etc):Beer battered cod, Blackened snapper, Grouper, fried octopus>Soup:Russian Ukha, with Cod. Honestly one of my favorite soups I've made after topping it with Russian Salo
>>16446349I use salmon in my Amerimutt take on moqueca.Marinade:~1 lb salmon, cut into 2-inch pieces (largish-bite sized pieces)4-6 cloves garlic, peeled and minced1 Tbsp fresh lime juice1/2 Tbsp sweet paprika1/2 Tbsp ground cumin3/4 tsp salt1/2 tsp ground black pepperStock:1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil1 small onion1 small/medium green bell pepper, seeded, de-stemmed1 - 2 small/medium tomato (approx. 1 cup, diced)1/2 14-ounce can regular (not light) coconut milk1/2 cup Vegetable or Seafood broth1/2 tsp sriracha1/2 large bunch fresh cilantro, choppedSalt and freshly ground pepperGreen onion, for garnish1. Marinate salmon: Mix together the marinade ingredients. Let the salmon marinate in this paste for at least 2 hours. The longer, the better.2. Prepare the vegetables by roughly chopping into large bite size pieces3. In a large pan (large covered skillet or Dutch oven), lightly coat the bottom of the pan with olive oil, and heat over low/medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers, and sweat for approximately 10 minutes until onions are soft and translucent.4. Add the tomatoes, coconut milk, broth, sriracha, and about half of the cilantro and stir to combine.5. Place fish pieces into pot. Pour in all remaining marinade. Top with salt and pepper.6. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer for 30 minutes to an hour, until the vegetables are cooked through.7. Garnish with cut green onions and remaining cilantro, and serve with white rice or crusty bread.

>>16444725I always get the usagi sashimi when I go to the golden corral's sushi buffet corner next to the restrooms. Second fav will have to be their fried catfish.
>>16446930>usagi sashimianon, rabbit isn't a type of fish
>>16444725Whiting and flathead because they are basically the only sustainable seafood left anymore. Faggots who keep assraping the ocean so my kids can only ever eat plastic seafood should be strung up in public and beaten like a pinatat. Australia
>>16446949yeah that's the benefit of having lakes, lake fish are plentiful and tasty.
>>16444725>the pomfret.Aryan man detected
>>16444725I'm partial to the Yellow Croaker. Flesh is delicate and white, yet a little meaty as well. Just like the perfect pawg-meat sliding in your mouth. You leave satisfied. Koreans know what they're doing, oh and the roe is pretty good too
>>16444725Boggles my mind that people can look at this thing and be like "yes... I really want to put that in my mouth"t. pussy vegfag
For me, it's smallmouth bass.
>>16447247>Boggles my mind that people can look at this thing and be like "yes... I really want to put that in my mouth"I can't believe you actually wrote that after seeing a cock spurt out a fat load and thinking exactly the same thing you're hating on us for thinking about fish.

>>16449557I like octopus ceviche, but I feel bad about eating it since Octupuses are so intelligent
>>16444725Raw and frozen
>>16444725Beltfish fried or braised in a stew
I'm allergic to bony fish and crustaceans so I guess oysters
it has to be spanish mackerel, what else?
Just grilled some barramundi last night and it was definitely one of my favorite fish filets ive had in a long time, haven't done much else with it yet but I'm sure it'll be good. Decent price too and was still great for being frozen when bought.Other favorites are probably things like grouper, (puppy) drums and mackerel.
First favorite is salmon. Back in the Northwest, it was cheaper than pork. Here in the South, my new favorite is catfish. Cheap and bountiful and tastes delicious.
deep-fried yellow perch
>>16444725>Hilsa(Herring)>Rohu (Carp)>catfishHilsa is the best fucking fish in this planet. It literally tastes like butter.
>>16444725mackrel is amazing, i fish for it when i eat it and theres no competition for how simple and versatile it is, also eel, though not sure if its a fish
