>>10842723Honestly, the top half of the coord is fine, just could use proper lolita legwear. Layering tights with ankle socks and tea parties or tights + pink boots like picrel could work here.
>>10842731Of course I dropped pic after getting the captcha right
>>10842724And this is exactly why anyone with a sizeable amount of tits needs to avoid salopettes
>>10842731Did you miss the part where the person wearing it is an ugly moid
>>10842737You can sticker test people, I don’t really give a shit about the male thing. I will critique the coord and if it fits will on someone’s body. Take your meds.
>>10842723Isn't this Darling Dollz from YouTube? I like his channel. I didn't know he wore lolita, though; did he tag this as that?
>>10842724The top half looks fine so it frustrates me to no end that she ruined it with shitty legwear, sneakers, and a skirt in desperate need of ironing.
>>10842726I feel bad that her coord is so awful, she’s so cute. I hope she gets better.
>>10842723oh no, I've watched his doll videos on youtube before but I didn't know he wore lolita kek. Imagine being obsessed with fashion dolls and yet you dress like this...
>>10842740yes, he uploaded it in r/lolita and said it's his first coord
>>10842723the leg situation is awful but this is definitely salvageable and i honestly think he looks cute in it
>>10842741>top half looks fine>her boobs are spilling out of the sides of the dressyep, looks fine /s
>>10842721this looks like the imagined wedding of a fanfic-writing 13 year old girl to her OC
>>10842767Yeah, agreed. Legwear and shoes aside, this is a pretty damn good first attempt. Someone give him some concrit he'll actually see.
>>10842769OP missed out naming this Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Ravenway Edition kek
>>10842767Yeah, first time I see a male actually looking cute in lolita, legwear aside
>>10842723i unsubscribed from this fag as soon as he started showing his ugly mug in his videos kek, should've stuck to the talksprite
>>10842721>>10842769This wasn't taken at an actual wedding was it?
>>10842758how do you fuck up a coord SO badly... if I grabbed random shit outta my closet it'd still look better than this
>>10842762Im gonna call this a selfpost. also this is a cute coord desu
>>10842848Facts and she looks exactly like Anya Taylor Joy! Haters stay jealous.
>>10842762what print is this ? It looks gorgeous
>>10842723>is a troon that gets posted to ita thread>suddenly gets asspats in the commentsWhat I see here is someone’s got recruitments in the thread.
>>10842849I don’t mind the cord, it’s simple and basic, wouldn’t have paired sax with it personally; but relating her to ATJ is pulling that one straight out of your ass. Literally can’t even see half her face so wtf?
>>10842758This is horrendous. Why would you ever even own this putrid colored top?! Burn it.
>>10842726Bet she’s an “I could only find lolita on Amazon” ita. The quality of not just the dress too is just so disappointing. She’s got a cute face though so at least if she bought something better quality she could improve.
>>10842726why is it that itas and "kawaii" ""jfashion"" normies in general can never match their pinks.
>>10842722This is bad, but damn does it make me nostalgic. >>10842723I remember him mentioning lolita in his videos, but didn't know he wore it. Get rid of the legwarmers, switch shoes and get a higher quality headbow and it would be fine as baby's first coord. >>10842726She's adorable, I hope she improves>>10842762This is cute and so close to being good! Hope she improves.
>>10842849Every time she gets posted someone says this and it just isn't true
>>10842837Where else would it be taken? She has a big bouquet, and she's on the arm of a normie woman
>>10842860This! He doesn't even look cute. He looks like any other troon in previous threads.
>>10842726Awww her face is so adorable and sweet. Makes me nostalgic for when itas were at least having fun while being poorly dressed. I hope she gets some real plus sized friendly lolita items and not random ebay/Amazon "lolita"
>>10842860I think you forgot that people only really care when it's a trans woman. Either way, it's a good faith effort, he's got not just burando, but a somewhat difficult to find piece, suggesting he either took some effort to find it, or is close to someone in the community who has some experience. This isn't an Amazon or low effort TB dress. Either way, I think people aren't eating it alive because no one really cares. Sorry about your vendetta tho.
>>10842900she's ugly and fat.
>>10842886Nah, he's got a more feminine face so he would look fine with makeup and a flattering wig (the latter also applies to any girl itas with this haircut. It doesn't work with the fashion no matter how well-groomed it is).Someone said, "imagine being obsessed with fashion dolls and you dress like this" but let's be honest, a lot of people into normie fashion wouldn't be able to tell the difference because they don't know what lolita is supposed to look like. He's a beginner so a little cluelessness is to be expected, but his mistakes are pretty minor ones that could easily be fixed. And considering his pretty feminine features, a close shave, flattering makeup, and a quality wig would do wonders.
>>10842721oh i have to see the groom. does anyone have more pics from this dumpster fire
>>10842726Some context would help with this photo nonna. The mother posted this saying it was her daughters first coord I think. It’s a bit shitty to post it here. She’s cute and has room for improvement.
>>10842751>Imagine being obsessed with fashion dolls and yet you dress like this...One look at the dolls on his shelf tells me everything I need to know
>>10842856Metamorphose: happy balloonhttps://lolibrary.org/items/meta-crown-label-happy-balloon-mini-skirt
>>10842980This is why everyone hates the community. Clearly she has potential and interest, and a pretty decent first time coord. If her mom disclosed that then she's obviously also super young. Only a total cunt would see that and be like hmm let me just post this to CGL to shit on someone for just trying something that brings her joy. Look how happy she looks in that picture. Super nostalgic. I just can't understand what kind of bitter sandy vag gargoyle saw that and decided to post it here.
>>10843001Most of us even agreed she's cute and we want her to get better
“Incorporates spank Kei and pastel Kei into my lolita outfits” no, no it doesn’t. It’s none of those.
>>10843238While these aren't perfect. I blame the photographer for making these girls look like mom wanted to get pictures before the con
>>10842723LOL I came here to post this exact pic
>>10843237Wtf even is that thing
>>10843237everything in view is so fucking dirty.
>>10843238Left could be nice with more voluminous hair and an actual hair accessory. Idk who thought a sad, flat ponytail would look good here
>>10842723Why can't these faggots just grow their hair? It's so pathetic seeing them with short hair trying to be cute.
>>10843238I saw them from up close and left was actually well dressed
>>10842860Unfortunately nowadays these threads are full of fellow itas, newfags and coping men, trying desperately to defend their kind. I miss my 2012 cgl.
>>10842939>>10842901go dilate tranny, if you think this looks feminine I don't even want to know how ugly your manface is kek
>>10842761I like this one
This dress is ugly
>>10843327I like her actually, but there's no saving this dress. Is that the Lor Blouse? Remember when she was shilling that dance wear company? It looks similar to that, but I thought I saw something similar from Miss Danger.
>>10843248The middle one has that garbage stuffed animal BDSM print though.>>10843327Yeah that's because it's freaking Dollbe again.>>10843359It's a Glittertale blouse. Miss Danger does have a mesh blouse w/ voluminous sleeves too though.
>>10843359I think Lor's was Kaneko Shop?
>>10843392No, it was a Canadian dance wear company that started making really low effort blouses to try and cash in on the comm during the pandemic
>>10843428Oh I wasn't talking about Cream and Sugar Lolita, I thought Kaneko specifically the shop Lor got one of her clown collar looking blouses from
>>10843454it is kaneko that her clown blouse came from. Cream and sugar did also do a puff sleeve cutsew but it wasn’t nearly as dramatic.
>>10843464I also recall the most bizarre laser blue fabric choice kek.
>>10843387I feel bad for dollbe desu. She’s one of those people who’s so sweet you wish you could buy her stuff and support her. She’s also one of the few people in the comm with genuinely debilitating health problems. I feel bad saying it because she’s so nice, but honestly her dresses are hideous with almost no exception. I saw one that I thought was decent for classic, but I can’t remove what it’s called. It was a repeating pattern, not a border print, and it had I think wolves? Or maybe stags? Either way, she massively undercharges for her sewing work, but she has to do that because the designs are so lackluster. I think she’d do wayyyy better if she just started buying commercial fabric from kokka or something.
>>10843327tf is the print supposed to be? triangles and raindrops?
>>10843521Lapis and Peridot from Steven Universe
>>10843387>stuffed animal BDSM printThat makes it even better
>>10843359was that the blouse she ripped the back out of three different times?>>10843409why do itas buy petticoats of dresses that clearly aren't meant for them?
>>10843238They are all fine, im surprised you didnt post the creepy looking men but go off i guess
>>10843409This girl threw a hilarious shitfit and deleted her post because her outfit not being lolita was triggering or something. Amazing ita behavior.
>>10843560Thats makes zero sense. She was quick to flounce tho lol Why are newbies so thin-skinned these days?
>>10843537That's the blouse but I think it was Ellie Vyra who ripped it, unless Lor did too.
>>10843594And when answered that yes it was she threw a fit and called Lolitas mean and says she’ll stay away from r/Lolita. Says other sites are too expensive and take too long to ship to her.
>>10843594Isn't this Amazon-chan from a few months ago? Still on the bunt for $20 lolita dresses and complaining everyone's a meanie. She sticks to the Harajuku subreddit bc it's also full of newbies and itas.
>>10843537I'm pretty sure that was Ellie Vyra who busted through a few of these blouses.
>>10843602It is the same girl, I thought she learned her lesson and decided to stay away but apparently not
>>10843625She’s hardcore delusional, she describes herself as an ‘influencer’ but has less than 150 followers on any of her social medias
>>10843602kek. the comments are full of yass queening too.nightmare of a sub
>>10843653It’s a shame because she’s got a cute face, she’s just impatient and immature and unwilling to put effort into fashion.
>>10843602Time to dig around in there!
>>10843565>>10843611It was Ellie. Her entire YT channel is peak cringe like trying that blouse on for a second time and destroying it. Who would record and upload that willingly. I also miss the gull who tried to copy Tyler but was fat and ugly. Her name was Parumey. She got caught posting here and deleted her YT channel and changed her IG name every week to avoid the heat. I’m glad she stopped making those crunchy knock off LWLN videos because she’s nearly forty years old and unfunny.
>>10843686>ParumeyI'm sad I missed it.
This is repulsive
>>10843707Good lord, what is that thing? I hope she didn’t leave the house looking like this.
>>10843686>Who would record and upload that willinglyShe's under some delusion that she's "swole" and not an obese sack of lard, that's why.
>>10843707Why do itas always collect the ugliest, cheapest dolls?
>>10843707average rainbow high fan
>>10843720She complains about not being able to fit into a lot of pieces but also continues to get bigger on purpose (so she claims), and let's be honest it is mostly body fat.You can be strong without having such high fat mass, and I doubt the extra weight from fat is actually much of an advantage for the kind of wrestling she does. Not only does she have to expend the energy lifting her own body weight (bad for the joints and pretty taxing on the whole system at that size) I can also imagine it getting in the way. Not that it matters much anyway since it's scripted.
>>10843725I'm genuinely worried for her. She's extremely pale and always covered in sores. I think she has some sort of condition she's ignoring. It's weird that she's training to be a wrestler and has developed zero muscle whatsoever
>>10843686>>10843725Oh man, I didn't think it was going to be that bad. She ripped through two blouses before the video, got new ones in the exact same size and ripped those on camera and finally couldn't fit into the dress. And then she tried to act like there was something wrong with the blouses and the stitching, even though she says no one else had the same issue and it only rips once she puts it on and starts raising her arms. Girl, it's too small, just accept it.
>>10843738Do you have links to the videos of her tearing the blouses? I want to watch the horror, pretty please.
>>10843734she's just jewish dw
>>10843741the blouses were kaneko pierrothttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VED5rtzaaXo
>>10843745Straight up hulked out of that shit. How do you not hear it ripping?
>>10843734>I think she has some sort of condition she's ignoringIIRC she has PCOS but seems to be using it as an excuse for why she is the way she is, and that there's nothing she can do about it. PCOS makes it easier to build muscle though, so if she does have it the fact that she mainly has put on bodyfat suggests she's not putting in the work and not eating in a way that is helpful for building muscle. Too much junk, not enough protein. The bruises are completely normal for the kind of training she does though. But you're right she is often quite pale. That could just be her skin color though, and lack of time outside. Or anemia.
>>10843742You didn't have to call me out like that
>>10843745I seriously felt bad for her watching this
>>10843653The coat on the ground and the pose just make me think of a toddler throwing a tantrum
>>10843745Is she being 3d printed? Is that a lift? wtf is that? at 11m
>>10843806Me too. Obviously she's too big for the blouses and she IS for sure fat. But a blouse shouldn't be tearing to pieces like that even if it's too small. That's just terrible material/design by kaneko shop.
>>10843825That material is incredibly delicate, it's impossible to work with but I agree, not something that should be sold
>>10843821It's a weight rack, you can see some of the plates behind her.
>>10843825This is just something that's different between a cotton blouse and a blouse made out of sheer material. If you put someone in it who exceeds the maximum measurements of the blouse it likely won't rip if it's cotton, but it will likely rip if it's organza/chiffon/etc no matter what kind of seam you put in. The fabric is just too delicate/loosely woven. There are types of sturdier organza used for skirts/dresses but they're not used for blouses because they are way too stiff. I have no problem with these blouses being sold but they need french seams, a disclaimer stating it's a delicate fabric and a warning on the listing stating that you must be sure you're (insert amount here) under the max measurements. This is 100% her fault though, she exceeded the max measurements for the blouse. A little common sense could have prevented it from happening. I didn't hear anyone else have a similar issue who was under the max measurements. She even says herself "I don't know why I'm the only one having this issue and no-one else seems to".
>>10843722This. I have no clue why anyone would collect cheap children's shitty toys. At least collect BJDs or antique dolls or something quality
>>10843745Did she get the new ones in a size up? I don't get why it HAD to happen the second time. Why didn't she ask for a larger size just to be sure?
>>10843860iirc she re-ordered in the same size and there was no bigger size.
>>10843699She’s in a neighboring comm and befriends the girls who are younger. She comes off as a groomer>>10843686She’s still posting ita coords to her Instagram
>>10843871>She comes off as a groomerAre you sure it's that and not just her being older and there not being any comm members her age?
>>10843858>why anyone would collect cheap children's shitty toysTell me you know nothing about doll collecting without telling me you know nothing about doll collecting.Rainbow High dolls have been pretty well received by the doll-collecting community. Also kek are you retarded? They're fucking dolls. Dolls are children's toys; including the antique dolls you mentioned. I don't know how this is the first time you've ever heard of adults collecting children's toys as it's far from something new.
>>10843909nta but the difference is that bjds and antique dolls at least have some kind of aesthetic appeal but rainbow high is just cheap mass-produced tacky trash that appeals only to nine year olds and adults with the brains of nine year olds
>>10843873There are members close to her age in our comms anon
>>10843913also nta but this
>>10843909it's literally a spin-off line to a toy unicorn that you feed slime until it shits itself get a grip
>>10843909one requires delicate handling and one can literally be thrown around, whatever makes you happy but there is a difference
>>10843871why is this a thing here? I know a girl who does this
>>10842939This is mental illness
>>10843653"What fashion is this" Honey, first of all this isnt fashion...
>>10843950r/harajukufashion is a gold mine
>>10843950The overdone blush trend honestly needs to die. It makes you look unwashed and filthy.
>>10843966overdone blush looks like sunburn or post-crying redness to me. it never looks cute, and doesn't help that the people doing it are rarely cute so it's unflattering.
>>10843923Is she a groomer? It’s creepy af to hang out only with girls ten years your junior. If it’s a mixed age group it’s fine.
>>10843560Got screenshots of it? Where did it happen?
>>10843979yup, tried to get them to come over too
>>10844195Party city Halloween after the Purge vibes from this.
This girl had the nerves to do an aliexpress haul while being "lolita"
>>10844232As long as she wasn’t buying lolita on there I honestly dgaf, but if she was, that’s just… there are like 100000 people warning not to do it. Why do it anyways? There are so many better options.
>>10844121Lol thanks Anon, that was quite the meltdown
>>10843745She's insane, I can't believe she had the audacity to blame the brand for her back fat ripping through 3 blouses. And the cherry on top was her also not fitting into the dress in the end lmao
>>10844203I mean, that's certainly what it is. From a glance it looks similar to the tutus Listen Flavor puts out, though theirs are usually pastel not black. Which are fine for some Jfashion just obviously not Lolita.
>>10843921I never said there wasn't a difference, but porcelain dolls (which I assume she means when she says "antique dolls" even though the are plenty of antique dolls that don't fit that bill, like Civil War-era "church dolls") are absolutely children's toys. They were conceived to be played with, albeit gently. And you can *absolutely* get them cheap. Every single Goodwill you walk into will have some porcelain dolls being sold for like two bucks because someone's grandma died and her relatives dumped all her shit off there. I see them every time I go thrifting, and if they're cute and in good condition I've even bought them. You can argue that Barbies, Bratz, and Monster High dolls are also cheap mass produced plastic toys but they're still widely collected, as well as a billion other doll lines that are plastic and sustain rough play. Heck, you could probably take a signature Barbie out of the packaging and throw her at the wall and depending on which one she'd likely be fine. I would recommend it, but it wouldn't break the doll, and those dolls are designed for adult collectors. American Girl dolls can be thrown and they're over 100 dollars full retail.I agree "whatever makes you happy" but collecting "cheap plastic children's toys" is far from an uncommon thing, and porcelain dolls fit three of those four words.
>>10844315*wouldn't recommend it
She also has worse selfies trying to show off her cleavage in lolita but they're not full coord shots
>>10844242I honestly think these people do it not because it's cheap and fast, but because they don't have the eye to recognize bad quality so they think they're proving lolitas wrong by getting 'good' dresses from Aliexpress. Like they think their bad dresses are gioing to be met with praise and then they'll reveal they're from Aliexpress and we're all gonna say 'omg that's amazing I would have never guessed!'. Unfortunately some people decide to be fake-polite and say that shit anyway.
>>108443411. Where’s her petti?2. Black shoes? Seriously? 3. That bag does NOT match. 4. Why does she think that looks good
>>10844315Nayrt, but I think we both know what the anon meant by "cheap plastic children's toys", you're arguing semantics. These dolls are ugly and cheap - end of, and the fact that this ita chose them out of a million other doll lines speaks volumes about her taste and sense of beauty as an adult, which is also reflected in the way she dresses. I think there's a painfully obvious difference between an antique porcelain doll that was meant to be more of a status symbol for wealthy children than a throwaway plaything even back in the day, with detailed face painting, intricate outfits made of lavish natural fibers, leather shoes and a human hair wig, and this soon-to-be-landfill plastic rainbow vomit garbage.
>>10844341The photography here mystifies me. I'm not even a hobbyist photographer, but why did she think that the primary object in the foreground should be a fucking telephone pole and not her?
>>10844366Im just fully convinced that some western ers just think they can throw on something with ruffles or lace and put on a headdress and call it lolita. I dont know how they can walk outside with confidence when they dont look good
>>10843909Defending yourself in here like that lets everyone know who you are
>>10844413I think it's cause they focus on trying to look 'lolita' instead of trying to look good, what I don't understand how they still managed to fail on both counts
>>10843834>I have no problem with these blouses being sold but they need french seams, a disclaimer stating it's a delicate fabric and a warning on the listing stating that you must be sure you're (insert amount here) under the max measurements. No they do not. It's not like fatties read
>>10844413Itas have always been like that, Japanese itas are no different.

>>10844366>>10844341>>10844413I know this isn't the best coord in the world and even bad enough to consider ita. But come of you've got to be kidding me with the fucking nitpicking I'm just surprised too see a fatty fit her clothes And I'm still convinced the people here trying to disqualify obviously lolita coords from being called lolita are the know it all tiktok zoomers who own maybe 1 brand item

>>10844721girl is too overweight for the dress. not sure why anyone is saying that shit is a nitpick.it's not good looking to be too fat for a damn dress. this thing is probably getting stretched out.
>>10844862Nitpick. Colorways are similar and the VF print has flowers. I have a bigger issue with that random coffin necklace.
>>10844839itas who don't bother to at least comb their ratty tangled hair before throwing on a headpiece need some kind of support group. hairbrush 101.
>>10844994>>10844862Not a nitpick, this doesn't match at all. Girl needs to get some basic lolita items before trying to be creative. This just looks clashing and normie
>>10844768>>10844994you guys really need to learn what a nitpick is before posting shit like this
>>10844447ayrt and the coord sucks, but I'm more appalled by the dad shoes, the shitty dye job, and the fact that literally everything she's wearing looks like it was pulled out of the bargain bin than I am about her choice in doll collecting. If any of it is brand then she's got a special talent making brand look ungodly cheap.Maybe this colorblind 5-year-old lurks here, but I'm not her. She'd probably be defending her coord not her doll collecting since the former is what got her posted in the first place. I'm just a doll collector who thinks rainbow high isn't too bad.
>>10844862>>10844581Why do itas always hold their skirts out like this? I admittedly did it a bit in the early days, but I stopped once I realized it obscured the silhouette
What a sweet cardigan, and I love the print on the dress. I think the textured socks and legwarmers was a really smart choice, the only thing is that maybe the leg warmers could have a bit more action so that they would tie the outfit together more. I think those shoes are so cute and i want to buy a pair. The headbow is a little large, but I think its a cute touch. Imagining this look with a cute hat makes me so happy!
>>10844548What print is the middle girl wearing? I thought it was Chess Chocolate for a split second but CC doesn't have a sax colorway
>>10845041Its the mint chess chocolate. The colors are just skewed. You can see the print kinda peeking at the bottom
>>10844726How is this thing allowed to be a LA mod
>>10845039I've seen quite a lot of street snaps (as well as brand adds) of well dressed lolitas who hold/pull out their skirt, although often only on one side (when the other hand is holding a bag) and the skirt isn't pulled up/out to the extent these people are doing. Pulling it up instantly ruins it the silhouette but holding it out a little bit is fine imo. They say they do this to show off the details of the print or the details of the lace/ribbons/whatever going on at the hem more.
>>10844839This looks like if Purrblind got hit by a bus… multiple times
>>10844714I call nitpick on this. I'd add an underskirt but otherwise its fine.>>10844718Also a nitpick. Hair could use work and makeup would be nice (I know not everyone can wear it) but the coord is well balanced. I like the plaid.
>>10845034Remember when there was like your staple ita? People get posted in here over vendettas or shitty taste now.
>>10845039I think they do this to obscure the lack of petti because people are so painfully adverse to wearing on these days for some reason...
>>10844726What am I not seeing here? It's not great but it doesn't really seem offensive enough to count as ita. Is it the bow on the blouse, the black shoes? Help me out.
>>10845078The blouse isn't lolita and doesn't have a collar which looks weird. I also don't like the texture of it : its not cute enough to match the vibe of the dressThe black shoes don't match with anything and something about them seems off. I'm almost certain they are not lolita shoes and even if they were they look a bit too mature for this kind of dress. The sunglasses look bad. Also nitpick but short socks and long sleeves never look good. Socks also look like cheap aliexpressIt's not awful but it's not a good coord
>>10845101>shoes are too mature>every single strap has a bow on it anon...i agree with you on the blouse (though I like the color, and I also agree that she could have chosen a better shoe color) but everything else you're saying just sounds dumb as hell.
>>10845077because mah sensory issues!1!
>>10845122I have actual sensory issues and I hate those excuses so much. So many autism fakers now
>>10844994Bc you are either her or have equally poor taste:The skirt does not match the other pieces at all. The beret, blouse, and vest have a distinct classic feel (i say this generously, as they are all loliable/normie), while the skirt has a more casual print. Overall, the browns are too dark to pair well with the red accents in the print. The boots are visually too heavy— a shorter cut would have been better. The blouse looks very elegant classic and would be better paired with a daintier shoe. The gobelin vest clashes with the skirt print, and not in a funky maximalist way. The beret is sad and lazy. The coffin necklace is so out of place, being gothic and green. Overall, remove the necklace and swap the skirt for a floral or solid IW skirt for example and this would have been fine. The aesthetic of the VF print has been grossly misinterpreted here.
>>10845133This. My skin will literally get pins and needles with certain petticoats but Im not going to just not use one because I can’t put on my big girl panties and suck it up for a few hours.
>>10845101>>10845109I don't find pussy bows particularly offensive. They give a vintage vibe that can go with certain substyles, like classic, but it's hard to get them to work in sweet.
>>10845122I wonder if the people who avoid petticoats for sensory reasons actually just don't own bloomers... Like of course they'll feel bad against your skin but you're not supposed to have to deal with that very much if you're wearing the proper undergarments. I'm autistic too but I either put on tights or just don't wear lolita if I'm having a bad sensory day.
this just seems really...off? none of the pastels match and the wig just adds to the taobao ita vibes
>>10845200nayrtsensory issues can also include being sensitive towards pressure of elastic waist bands and tights on the waist. This isn't exactly limited to people with autism though, anyone can have this.I personally really hate the pressure of outfits that have the pressure of the elastic waistband of a petticoat, bloomers and a regular or elastic waistband skirt on top. There are ways to fix what's causing the issue though without giving up the poof.-wear skirts/dresses of stiff fabric that have an in built petticoat (layers of tulle stitched onto the skirt lining), this will usually make an additional petticoat unnecessary unless you want mega poof.-remove the elastic waistband from petticoat and bloomers and put on a yoke or curved waistband instead that sits a bit lower than your anatomical waist. Size flexibility can be achieved by adding a drawstring on a portion of the front waistband. With the waistband of the dress/skirt sitting on your anatomical waist (or higher) and your petti+bloomers sitting lower you can avoid stacking pressure on top of pressure. The removal of the elastic also lessens pressure.-if you hate tights like I do, just don't wear any and opt for socks instead.
>>10845195what bows now
>>10845201I wouldn't say it looks the worst, but the wig definitely looks bad and the bangs look greasy
>>10845218pussy bowaka pussycat bowdefinition;a large, soft, floppy bow at the neck of a woman's blouse.
>>10845201Your colour blind
>>10845078Agreed. It’s not great but it’s also not that bad
>>10843238Not the bunny bear bdsm dress… why Diamond Honey made that will always make me wonder in confusion. We’re always having to fight that our coords are fetishes or kinks and then this dress exists really doesn’t help
>>10845245*aren’t sorry fkin autocorrect
>>10843529Hope you get therapy and touch grass soon nonny
>>10845200Yeah, the petticoat is the least of my sensory issues. I struggle more with blouses, socks and tights and pieces that are tight or heavy. But gotta suck it up, if you really wanna wear lolita. I don’t always want to wear baggy clothes
>>10845202AYRT, I actually hadn't throught of the waistbands issue as a sensory thing specifically because it was just a fact of life to me, I had no clue not everyone struggled with it. You're right about it not being exclusive to autistic people for sure though. Thanks for the tips, you really made the best of a comment I didn't think through well before posting.
>>10845245Tbf everything Diamond Honey has made since then is just as if not more bewildering. How they're still even able to make money to continue producing that garbage is beyond me, especially since their earlier designs were actually kind of cute. I guess since it's still cheap people will buy it no matter what
>>10845202crohn's chan here, i feel this.
>>10845275It's alright, no problem. And yes, there are plenty of people who can deal pretty well with tight waistbands of clothing and multiple layers. On the other end of the scale you have people who are extremely specific about what type of waistbands they can and can't wear.>>10845293I used to be a little picky about waistbands of underwear and pyjama bottoms and stuff like that but still wore jeans made out of very thick and stiff material without it being too much of a problem. Then I got IBS and 3 separate bouts of stomach ulcer and that was it for me. Definitely had an effect on what I preferred to wear. When I wear jeans now they're either too big in the waistband, stretchy, or have soft and stretchy elasticated waist bands. I got even pickier about underwear and PJs.I tried on an outfit that had bloomers, petticoat and skirt with elasticated waistbands and all of the pressure of the waistbands were stacked on top of each other and I found out I could only wear it for a pretty short time until I felt I needed to escape from the clothes. Then I found a video by some historical fashion youtuber who said she patterned her petticoat and bloomers to fall below her waist a bit (and of course no elastic) to avoid excess bulk at the waist, and used a yoke or curved waistband plus drawstring in front (and open fly) and this was a bit of a light bulb moment for me. It's a fairly simple alteration if you have or can make a yoke pattern. It was in this video at 30:25https://youtu.be/usNkFboiBGA
>>10845301wow thanks! i will check it out.
>>10845200In my experience it's always fakers like that furry dildo collector who simply don't own a petticoat and also want an excuse to tell everyone they're autistic. As the other autistic girls said, you can work around sensory issues if you really want to wear the fashion
>>10845202Anon, the ears are literally neon yellow.
>>10845369what am I missing, lol.
>>10845369oh you reacted to the wrong comment. I get it.
I don’t have a picture but did anyone else see that “vkei gothic Lolita ouji” kid who posted about buying ouji from shein and all the comments were supportive? Everyone kept getting mad at actual lolitas and oujis trying to give good advice. Sometimes I worry that this community is doomed.
>>10845418On tiktok of course.
>>10845421i think i found them. this is absolutely incredible
>>10845422bona fide ita retardation in the wild. hope he has fun looking like shit i guess
>>10845276That's literally why. Teenagers with no money see these ugly cheap Diamond Honey dresses and but them bc the dresses are cheap and they can't tell good designs from bad.Every time I see some newbie call a Diamond Honey monstrosity their dream dress I despair for the future of this fashion.
>>10845473AYRT, it is painful to see that but there have always been teenage itas who don't have the money or experience to do lolita properly; we can only hope they delevop over time. I think clothing just far more accessible now, which isn't necessarily bad, and more people post online than before, which it why it seems like an increase as of late. Again, at least I hope that's the case.

>>10844862I know it's crazy but I kinda like this as a non-lolita outfit>>10845201If she took off the wig and the bunny ears it could be okay>>10845418>>10845422>>10845424>>10845473Yeah. It was different before. From what I remember, at the time there typically was a well-established lolita comm and the occasional ita would appear and be ita, but could be redirected to good sources. And then she would choose to do better or decide that lolitas are all meanies and cry about it. But now I feel like there are far more itas coming from everywhere and it's hard to gatekeep and girlboss them when there are so many. Especially with this culture where you can't disagree with anyone because you'll upset them and then you will be called an evil nazi terf and cancelled.
>>10845503With how cheap original designs can be now lack of money is no excuse to buy replicas.
>>10845527I didn't mention anything about replicas? Of course there's no excuse, there never really was even back when that was one of fewer cheap options.
>>10845525Fair, I don't have the perspective of someone in a comm because I live in the middle of nowhere.
From R/lolita"This is my only aristocratic/ouji-esque outfit. All of this aside from the blouse was thrifted or given to me second hand. (Sorry the sun was a bit against me) (I’m not looking for criticism, I don’t have the money to change it as of now, just a long time lolita enjoyer trying their best)"
>>10845570Sorry for the confusion, I thought you were talking about the tiktokker posted 3 comments above yours who doesn't understand why we care about not buying replicas. The tend to argue it's okay for them to buy replicas because they can't afford the original design.
>>10845616I hate all the new ouji wearers on that subreddit who think that wearing their granddad's old suit pieces makes them ouji. There's a reason why the name means "Prince."
>>10845525Exactly! No matter how polite you are, you simply CANNOT criticize someone else, because if you do you’re automatically a racist, misogynistic, transphobic, fatphobic, classist, gatekeeping, bitchy lolita who just wants to hurt peoples feewings. And no matter what you say, that label will follow you forever. It’s so frustrating! I can’t even tell people not to buy replicas anymore or else I’m “poorshaming”!
>>10845705My first thought was "that's so embarrassing" but then I thought "would normies be able to tell the difference between that and actual lolita? If they can't then actual lolita is seen as just as embarrassing by normies".... absolutely bone chilling thought.

>>10845754>>10845758The sad part is that those are the two best things about this coord.

>>10846021Straight out of Harajuku
reddit continues to be an ita goldmine
>>10846041She has got to be the worst Ita on that subreddit. Not only does she wear the same greasy "co-ord" to multiple Lolita meets, but she also is obsessed with NSFW role-playing as underaged anime boys. Gross.
>>10846045Aaaah, that's her? Ugh yuck. We need to gatekeep more. I hate that on the lolita subreddit there's a rule that says "searching someone's post history in other subs in order to vilify them counts as harassment" when it's stuff like sissy kink, so you can't even tell the mods the obvious sissy is indeed a sissy. You're the one who gets the consequences instead. Also absolutely crap coords and posts on the lolita subreddit get loads of upvotes even when the content posted breaks the rules. You can downvote and report but I don't think enough people give a shit. The posting standards are in hell. I would love to get enough people on board to downvote and report low effort content and rule breaking posts in order to raise the standards enough that it will be a reasonable alternative to facebook but I'm pretty sure not enough people care because that's simply not the way that the subreddit is used now. R/lolita is a sort of garbage bin where people post because they're either banned everywhere else, and/or their content is too low quality to be accepted anywhere else or they're just cross posting good coords for extra asspats and no interaction.
