It happened to me, someone broke into my house, stole all my anime dvds, figures and niknacks etc. then they swapped out all my Levi’s for gap chinos, git rid of my Jordan’s and replaced them with loafers. MAGC is like mega... only shittier. Mega's on the same weekend as Manchester Comic Con (Monopoly). Mega's is like a "knock off" MCM without them gettin sued for trying to be the same which is why they run tokfest to be different enough that Reedpop doesn't care.

Megacon brum was actually pretty decent. Not nearly as many people as MCM but that's one of the upsides, it's not crowded and feels comfy. Hall was more 50/50 on artists vs dealers too compared to MCM being like... 30/70. NEC is much nicer than the Excel too, cheaper and you have the spoons to hang out in after the con

I'm biased, but I do think NEC is undervalued as a venue, and underused by MCM brum. Last time I went they barely used a single hall, and not even one of the bigger ones. Though IMO MCM Oct/nov are too close together and it should be moved to Feb or something.
