>>10838830Local here, Disneyland is crowded during the summer but July 4th weekend actually isn't always that bad anymore (or at least not as bad as the week before & after Christmas) because the annual passholders are blocked out. You'll be waiting in lines for everything but if you have friends with you it's still fun and the queues are heavily themed with lots of stuff to look at. Bring plenty of snacks and water and try to get there when they first open so you can do as much as possible in the first couple hours.Also Universal tickets are the same price as Disneyland but it's a fraction of the size and only has like 6 rides and a shitload of escalators. You get infinitely more "bang for your buck" at Disney.
