>>10755467I think it's an intrinsic part of the character to at least have low body fat. You can probably get away with only a little muscle mass looking at the pics, he's ripped but anime is exaggerated and if you get as ripped as Kamina it'll probably look like too much muscle in practice.

i mean dress up as whoever you feel like -- it's a folly to "gatekeep" people who cosplay for fun without putting too much effort into it -- but definitely get lean if you're really dedicated to the bit. Putting in the effort is always a good thing aesthetically
