I love them! Can I ask here, if I were to buy one, what are you supposed to do with them? I usually just keep plushies in my bed and sleep with them, if I'm not stuffing them into a plastic bag for permanent storage. But are you "allowed" to sleep with a kumya? Or is it just supposed to sit on a shelf? Are they only meant as a part of a coord, similar to a bow? I don't want to treat it in a way you aren't supposed to!
>>10751308In my opinion, kumyas are made to function as bags, so their primary use is as a bag/part of your coordinate. Lots of people do just collect them to display though, and due to there being so many different types of kumyas they are very collectible items! I don't think I would sleep with any of my kumyas personally, as I want to keep them in the best condition possible but that's just me. If you buy a kumya, you can do what you want with it.
>>10751315Thank you for your reply!Kumyas are quite expensive, so there's no way I could get a big collection. I'm unsure how I could actually use it, but they are so cute! Maybe my best choice is to just keep looking at pictures. But is that really good enough, wouldn't it be so much better to have one of my own?
>>10751374
>>10751375
>>10751308I know a lot of people who carry kumyas as bags for photos/coords, but then use a separate bag for actually carrying stuff (especially with tiny kumyas)
>>10751317I have a "mature" face and always have, if I got one I'd use it for room decor like on a shelf or tableI looked at them so many times but it no just wouldn't look cute in my coords. I have to buy jewel tones and more subtle sweet releases because I don't have the cutesy look

Got my first usakumya that won't be for display. What do you gulls (besides beans-chan) stuff them with to give it poof? I intend to use her head for storage but am looking for something to fill the stomach area. Sorry it sounds morbid.
>>10761239You could buy poly fill beads or the fluffy kind. The beads are more like beanbag filing but very small pieces so that it's nice and densely filled. I think the fluffy kind of poly fill or cotton stuffing is good for less weight. Could even toss in some silica gel packets to absorb moisture.
>>10761244I considered beads but am worried about car keys sinking into them and beads spilling everywhere trying to fish them out. Fluffy poly/cotton fill is likely what I'd go with, thank you.
>>10761239I just scrunched up a random odd pyjama sock and put it in the tummy. It fills it out and doesn't get in the way of me using the bag either
>>10761253You could always sew some stuffing into a little pouch so it's not just loose inside
>>10761280You are amazing, nonny, thank you!! That's a wonderful idea!>>10761263Also helpful, thank you!

I just got my first Kuma Kumya from closetchild and I am very excited! Has anyone ever bought little clothes for their Kumyas? I have seen some plush doll clothes on Taobao and I wonder if any would be suitable for the Kumyas; I am just starting with a mini-mini one!
Fuck yer kumyas. I bought a kumya just to cut its head off and flush it down the toilet because I hate kumyas.
>>10777303Get your hands off him, bitch
>>10777303No, don't do it.
>>10776743The thread title picture is from an ad from fril(I believe?), that sells this little bellboy costume for the kumakumyaYou just have to search kumakumya in Japanese characters on fril and Yahoo auctions Japan
>>10776743A mini-mini is going to be harder to find clothes for than a normal sized kumya. There are makers of kumya clothes, especially on Xianyu, but often they are sized for the normal ones. I bought a Ginger Doll set off there and it was very cute.

I love my Usakumya
We rode the bus together, and she got her own seat!
>>10781048extremely cute but i hope that bus wasn't anywhere close to being full
>>10781116The bus had reserved seating, and no one had bought the seat next to me so it was free. If anyone had come on with a ticket for the seat, I'd have moved her and kept her on my lap instead, like I usually do.
>>10781118awesome! i love seeing kumyas with their own seat in an extra chair, even at restaurants. reminds me of childhood tea parties
