I'll post mine! I love her and rarely see the 2005 kumyas anywhere
>>10749646And a couple more I had saved
>>10749648What?? This one looks like a lamb, so damn adorable!
>>10749650I always think the oldschool ones look a bit like sheep
I wish they would re release the iconic usakuma
>>10749645>>10749646>>10749648>>10749651Whoa she is so beautiful anon. Thanks for sharing!>>10749547Awwwww thank you very much <3I am glad you are enjoying them

I love them! Can I ask here, if I were to buy one, what are you supposed to do with them? I usually just keep plushies in my bed and sleep with them, if I'm not stuffing them into a plastic bag for permanent storage. But are you "allowed" to sleep with a kumya? Or is it just supposed to sit on a shelf? Are they only meant as a part of a coord, similar to a bow? I don't want to treat it in a way you aren't supposed to!
>>10751308In my opinion, kumyas are made to function as bags, so their primary use is as a bag/part of your coordinate. Lots of people do just collect them to display though, and due to there being so many different types of kumyas they are very collectible items! I don't think I would sleep with any of my kumyas personally, as I want to keep them in the best condition possible but that's just me. If you buy a kumya, you can do what you want with it.
>>10751315Thank you for your reply!Kumyas are quite expensive, so there's no way I could get a big collection. I'm unsure how I could actually use it, but they are so cute! Maybe my best choice is to just keep looking at pictures. But is that really good enough, wouldn't it be so much better to have one of my own?
>>10751308I know a lot of people who carry kumyas as bags for photos/coords, but then use a separate bag for actually carrying stuff (especially with tiny kumyas)
>>10751317I have a "mature" face and always have, if I got one I'd use it for room decor like on a shelf or tableI looked at them so many times but it no just wouldn't look cute in my coords. I have to buy jewel tones and more subtle sweet releases because I don't have the cutesy look
>>10751850Oldschool Usakumya manual
>>10751851You can do that? Wouldn't that be piracy? But when it's been printed like that, feel like it should be okay.By the way, just ordered my first Kumya, an expensive Usakumya with a dress from Baby's webstore.
the usas are blooming
>>10751857>Wouldn't that be piracy? No, the brand provided this pattern to be used by anyone who purchased this issue of GLB, which is long out of print
>>10753512PLEASE tell me what dress she's wearing and where can I get something similar for my fat kumya, if it's not handmade
Do you name your kumyas? If so, what are their names?
>>10751857It's not piracy as long as you're not gonna sell your homemade kumya as a BABY original
>>10751857No, Baby printed patterns and instructions on how to make these items just for fun, you aren't ACTUALLY supposed to make them>putting a /s just in case since cgl posters have gotten so stupid lately they can't detect obvious sarcasm
>>10751851Forget kumya, I need a heart apron
>>10753823>>10753865Lucky brown kumyasmake a wish, anons!
>>10754761she cut her own bangs
>>10754893She looks great, no bully
>>10753504Does anyone know which version of usakumya this is that has the zip pocket in the back instead of the head? Can't tell what size it is and I had no idea one with this option existed!
>>10755069All the rucksacks have a zipper in the back, so I assume it's one of them
>>10755088Thank you so much!

Got my first usakumya that won't be for display. What do you gulls (besides beans-chan) stuff them with to give it poof? I intend to use her head for storage but am looking for something to fill the stomach area. Sorry it sounds morbid.
>>10761239You could buy poly fill beads or the fluffy kind. The beads are more like beanbag filing but very small pieces so that it's nice and densely filled. I think the fluffy kind of poly fill or cotton stuffing is good for less weight. Could even toss in some silica gel packets to absorb moisture.
>>10761244I considered beads but am worried about car keys sinking into them and beads spilling everywhere trying to fish them out. Fluffy poly/cotton fill is likely what I'd go with, thank you.
>>10761239I just scrunched up a random odd pyjama sock and put it in the tummy. It fills it out and doesn't get in the way of me using the bag either
>>10761253You could always sew some stuffing into a little pouch so it's not just loose inside
>>10761280You are amazing, nonny, thank you!! That's a wonderful idea!>>10761263Also helpful, thank you!
>>10761239I use a light scarf, like the kind people tie onto purses, not the winter kind.

Does Captain Chris have any lore or background around him like Usakumya does? All I can seem to find when searching is just listings to the products related to him.

I just got my first Kuma Kumya from closetchild and I am very excited! Has anyone ever bought little clothes for their Kumyas? I have seen some plush doll clothes on Taobao and I wonder if any would be suitable for the Kumyas; I am just starting with a mini-mini one!
Fuck yer kumyas. I bought a kumya just to cut its head off and flush it down the toilet because I hate kumyas.
>>10777303Get your hands off him, bitch
>>10777303No, don't do it.
>>10776743The thread title picture is from an ad from fril(I believe?), that sells this little bellboy costume for the kumakumyaYou just have to search kumakumya in Japanese characters on fril and Yahoo auctions Japan
>>10776743A mini-mini is going to be harder to find clothes for than a normal sized kumya. There are makers of kumya clothes, especially on Xianyu, but often they are sized for the normal ones. I bought a Ginger Doll set off there and it was very cute.
I love my Usakumya
We rode the bus together, and she got her own seat!
>>10781048extremely cute but i hope that bus wasn't anywhere close to being full
>>10781116The bus had reserved seating, and no one had bought the seat next to me so it was free. If anyone had come on with a ticket for the seat, I'd have moved her and kept her on my lap instead, like I usually do.
>>10781118awesome! i love seeing kumyas with their own seat in an extra chair, even at restaurants. reminds me of childhood tea parties
She's enjoying the view of the city! I'm holding her straps so she doesn't fall.>>10781123I'm happy that you liked it!
>>10786377Why has she got the tags still on like some kind of baseball cap?
>>10786624I didn't realize you could remove them without destroying them, and I just didn't think much about it, but they have been removed now.
>>10786675I don’t have a main or a side one. i just call them all ‘bunny’I feel like they are all the same bunny, just different outfits if that makes sense.
>>10786675I named my old usakumya Fritz and I don't know why. I don't have any other kumyas yet, but all my other brand stuffed animal bags have names as well - Charlotte, Victoria and Damien.
>>10786675I haven't given mine unique names, but I choose to believe that my version is a hetero couple, just because that's what appeals to me personally. Of course the official Kuma mascot is female, no arguments there.
How often BtSSB does reservations for Usakumya rucksacks? According to lolibrary there has already been one in 2022, is there a chance there will be another one this year? And how competitive are those reservations?I've never ordered from BtSSB's site directly, sorry if my newbie questions are too annoying.
>>10786675I only have one Usakumya, and I haven't given her any name, I just call her "Usakumya". But today, I suddenly called her "Usa" without thinking about it. Maybe that eventually becomes her new name?

Why nobody post kumyas anymore?
>>10791485kumyas are asleep

>>10791485I took this earlier today
>>10791514This is too cute. Makes me want a Usakumya traveling buddy too
>>10795268so adorable anon!
>>10795574From the Stupid Questions Thread
>>10795274Thank you!She also got to experience snow for the first time!
>>10786983Hope you don’t mind me being a month late anon. There weren’t any Usakumya rucksack releases for the past few years, but I think there is a high chance we will get a second release in the next year because of how quickly this one sold out. I was there for the most recent reservations and the pink rucksack sold out in probably three minutes and the blue sold out in ten. I managed to grab one in pink though. For reservations you want to be there to refresh the page as soon as reservations open and have your card pre-saved so you can check out as quickly as possible. And pray the website doesn’t crash on you. >>10796278Your pictures are always so lovely!
