New Lolita GeneralOld one >>10728687
>>10749395Good god OPDiscuss: >New releases>General Drama>Any plans for Easter coords?Meta just announced new Strawberry Dress that comes in two varieties and in two sizes.Innocent World is having an Instagram Live event on the 18thQuestion for you gulls:>You have total access to every dress/etc to make your dream Easter coord, what do you pick?
>>10751529Nakayoshi Bunny, too bad it'll be ages
>>10751531With or without the gay little bonnet?
>>10751533Well it's more fun to wear a gay little bonnet, so with obv
>>10751529You had an opportunity to avoid thisSorry
>>10751529I pick marshmallow bunny. It's been one of my favorite prints since I was a teen.
>>10751529Fuck yes updates like this are the only reason I visit this godforsaken site bc I don't have time to visit every brand's social media every day
Nakayoshi is a top tier choice, I'm also font of bunny pocket and holy theatre. What I actually own is mercator, so she's gonna have another day on the town this Easter.
>>10751529>You have total access to every dress/etc to make your dream Easter coord, what do you pickRococo bouquet
I love how Mana being seen as patron saint is still a thing among jp gothic lolitas.https://twitter.com/AyanoCentipedes/status/1513815061701468166
>>10751529>You have total access to every dress/etc to make your dream Easter coord, what do you pick?Happy Garden. More specifically, the Going Out set. It's just so cute!
any regular japonica market users here? have you noticed anything off about their service in the last few weeks?they cost me 2 different listings from dropping the ball and have gone silent updating my order status. their replies are really short/vague. I've been using them for over 6 years and never had a problem until now
>>10751641None of these coords would be good, brown shoes with a cream bag and cheap lace tights? At least throw in a brown bag or some cream shoes
>>10751843found the sweet
Did uniqlo copy this print from Jane Marple?
>>10751804I have, I partially stopped using them after their customer service went down
>>10751868Why do you think its a copy, not that its a commercially available fabric?
>>10751879I asked a question, I didn't state what I think. Does Jane Marple use commercially available fabric or are you suggesting Uniqlo used fabric from a company that copied from Jane Maple instead of using their own fabrics? I don't know that's why I'm asking here
Or is it a common print that lots of brands have used in different art styles. Pic related is from JM and does look slightly different>>10751891
>>10751868Dude that's a Paul & Joe collab and it's their own design, they've been releasing items with this design forever
>>10751868This print is from Uniqlo’s collab with Paul and Joe. The latter often make prints in this style.
>>10751843No.
>>10751641Good fucking taste my dude
>>10751846They aren't one of us, brown shoes with pink/red/gingham is traditional as apple pie
>>10751641Why are you making me fall in love with rococo bouquet
>>10751967sorry for the mistake then! anon must just be a newfag.
Seems like BTSSB's designers were on some show recently?>https://twitter.com/BABY_THE_STARS/status/1514550094456311817/
>>10751897>>10751898It still looks too similar to the JM print to be a coincidence
>>10752080If anything it's JM that copied them, they basically started out as a Vivienne Westwood knockoff brand
>>10752083Possibly but the JM print came out earlier, unless the Uniqlo one is a re-release
>>10752098Paul & Joe (who the print is from, this is a Uniqlo collaboration) has been doing this print forever, like other anon said above
>>10752098Oh yeah, I believe this P&J print existed before the collab - it's just one of their standard patterns
>>10751845>>10751876I'm going to switch to a new SS. I wanted to call them out so bad when they took 5 fucking days to order something and it sold to someone else because of it. With Japanese companies, you can't just bluntly ask them what's up or to fix something. So yeah if anyone is looking for a Japanese SS, I don't recommend trying Japonica first
What do you nonnys think of Axes Femme coming out with an official lolita line?
>>10752373Axes femme kawaii have been doing lolita stuff for ages. this isn't new.
>>10752373Axes Femme Kawaii has been around for years. Are you ok anon? Did you wake up from a coma?
>>10752464Nah I just ignore anything that isn't AP, BABY, and Meta desu I apologize
>>10752373Ok I've been gone too long and have been wondering; what the fuck does "nonny" mean?
>>10752543its just a goofy way of saying anon
Firs time CGL poster, so basicall I'm running a few after party events for Comicon London in May, and I'm committing to the fact I'm gonna maid it up for fun on the night. Any go to websites where the quality is better? I'm kinda expecting that unless I'm spending £200+ In gonna get that Alibaba quality and feel.
>>10752566meido isn't lolita you faggot.
>>10752569Looks that way from the outside you trash heap of a human.I'm guessing the lolita crowd know where to get a good fucking dress is the main point of this.
>>10752570insulting the demographic you're relying on won't help you kek. go find your fetish trash elsewhere.
>>10752570go dilate
>>10752566You need to find out your measurements in cm (chest, waist, hips, and shoulders). If you're a guy you'll have a hard time fitting most Japanese brands. You'll probably have to look for "plus-sized" pieces. Also, if your event is in May you're going to struggle to get something shipped to you in time. This is a plus size dress that might work for you. You'd still need to get a maid headdress.cdjapan.co.jp/product/ NEOAPP-43356t b h you'll probably get better results asking in the cosplay general. They might be able to point you to a western seller who could have your costume shipped to you on time.
>>10752648fuck off
>>10751706Some years I wore the regular happy garden skirt to church for Easter vigil . It is so cute
>>10752570Ignore the trolls ITT, going with Milanoo will be your safest bet.
>>10752710This. I've had nothing but good experiences with them and the quality is good for what you get.
>>10752570begone normie
>>10751876>>10752155Which other SS should i use? I'm waiting for them to update me on a skirt I've been searching for a couple of years. It's still not bought on mercari so thinking of sending it to another SS now
>>10752570Alixpress is great for all your lolita maid cosplay needs!
yo, wtf is happening on btssb/aatp's website? It has zero items on it suddenly. Is the san fran store closing or something?
>>10752946Why do you guys always jump to weird conclusions and not like oh they fucked up something on the site. God you are stupid
>>10752946Always make sure to read their blog posts if you're confused about something
>>10752950>>10752952welp, I should have paid more attention.
>>10752566Maybe check out Devil Inspired? Fast, easy shipping, good quality and good prices.
>>10753067newfag spotted
>>10753311It was obviously sarcasm
>>10753311dude is asking for maid dresses retard.
>>10752543lurk more nonny
So, does anyone know how many hours Antique Beast was open? Did you get anything? It's the second sale I wanted to at least look at, maybe not buy anything, that I completely missed. The first was Mossbadger divination skirts.
>>10753750I set up email alerts but didn't receive an email. I'm confused, do they sell out/shut down again in minutes?
>>10753753They were open the 16th. I saw it on Lolita Updates too. Looking at the website, it happened, we missed it.
>>10753750You can always look at their site. It was open for 2 hours, but they dont hide the items you can buy.
>>10753824I'll have to look more closely next time. And I will browse there. They're great inspiration for things to go with fancy trims.

>>10754235They're going down clolita lane too now aren't they
>>10754235They shredded grandma's good couch for this, didn't they?
>>10754235it’s like an infinitely worse version of this 2007 jsk…
>>10754235>young grasseugh
>>10754254do chinese lolitas even care about mmm tho? i don't think i've seen even one gothic chinese gothic lolita, just a million classic and sweet, hence why there's so few taobao brands that even release gothic dresses
>>10754319chinese lolitas don't seem to care about real gothic lolita, just a weird version of it, that's probably why anon thinks this is catering to them, it's more similar to their version of it.
>>10754319No, but this doesn't look like usual MMM it's leaning into that classic/sweet market to catch the girls who will spend the $$
>>10754235Very basic but it's cute. Just as long as the material has some good weight to it and isn't thin i don't see why everyone hates it? My only gripe is that this is such an odd colourway for MMM to release, there's no way it appeals to normal moitie fans.
>>10754289The ribbon trim at the neckline and the bustle really ups the cuteness factor. I do wish the new release had a bustle too.
>>10754235I think it's cute, but it is sad to see the lack of detail on it compared to that 2007 release. I won't be getting it as I just spent a bunch of money on Antique Beast. In any event, the colorway isn't new to Moitie. It's not a common one, but they've done a few blouses and a couple of main pieces in the color combination before. It's very pretty.https://lolibrary.org/items/moitie-small-flower-embroidery-ophttps://lolibrary.org/items/moitie-cross-original-lace-pin-tucked-blousehttps://lolibrary.org/items/moitie-pin-tucked-frill-cardiganhttps://lolibrary.org/items/moitie-rose-lace-frilled-jskhttps://lolibrary.org/items/moitie-voile-lace-blouse
>>10754357>>10754376Newfags confirmed.>>10754413I think it's really pretty for a spring/summer coord but not for the price that they're asking. Maybe I'd consider it when it goes on sale. The lack of details on Nu-moitie has been a constant disappointment.
>>10754416More like 'so old that Harpsichord Trio seems like a new release capitalizing on the JetJ art print classic trend'
>>10754416it's still nu-mmm, it looks nothing like their older stuff, especially the awful colors.
>>10754413I literally keep forgetting that moitie have released things in this colon because I don't follow anybody doesn't wear gothic.
This shit is so cute, I especially love the hot air balloon buttons at the waist ties
>>10754821My eyes are always dragged towards the two together on the swing
>>10754821I was thinking about getting it..but the bf talked me out of it. It kind of looks like a mess holistically design wise, but it is cute.
>>10754872your bf is a moron with no taste.
>>10754434Anon literally read 3 posts up >>10754413
>>10754874Nah anon. I looked at it for a while and realized, it is a mess design wise. It doesn't look that good from far away and it's far too faded for most of the designs. The print they show on the website is way more vivid than the actual dress. It looks faded on top of being cluttered.. lol
>>10751876Same here. They also sent another gulls AP dress to the wrong person which really put me off.
>>10755010Did they actually? That's an amateur move.
>>10754886Pastel baby prints like this always look washed out on their stock photos I find. Kumya’s Twinkle Cosmetics in sax was way more saturated irl.I really love the black colourway. Both jsks are still available so I’m debating it. Tenshi mentioned a store-limited navy colourway though which intrigues me more, I’m a slut for navy baby prints
Does anyone remember the young japanese lolita? Is she still on social media? She used to wear almost exclusively AP and sometimes she matched with her mother. She used to go by capricious frill or something along those lines. She was known from that childrens rooms from around the world photo series.
>>10757201I know who you're talking about, but I refuse to google "japanese lolita child", so you're outta luck
>>10757218I found her. Her name was frilly capricious and it led to a locked twitter account that says she no longer wears the fashion. Bummer, I always thought her posts were so cute.
>>10757245She’s got to be a teenager now, so she might not like the fashion like she did as a little girl. I thought it was adorable that her mom would make the dresses for her out of the skirts. But I can also imagine getting older and thinking it’s too childlike. I was obsessed with seeming grown up as a teen.
>>10757201Was that the girl whose home burned down and she made a post with a sad ash covered kumya?
>>10757245She came back to Instagram I think even though it says she's "graduated from the fashion". >>10757253I'm pretty sure that's the idol girl who used to have a big mole on her face
>>10751876I think they’re just flooded with orders at this point. Last time they didn’t inform me that they had bought an item and took a couple more days to make the invoice.I wonder what caused the influx of orders they’re getting, I don’t even think they’re accepting orders from new people at the moment.
I’m coming back to lolita after a while and am finding the clothes to be very expensive. Has the secondhand market rate gone up? Or am I just looking in the wrong places? Haven’t used Y!J auctions yet. I bought a few items from closet child.
>>10758215I mean, the global economy is a mess right now because there’s a war going on. What did you expect?
>>10758222Theres been a war going on for decades anon whats so different
>>10758215Lolita boomed when COVID hit so unfortunately everything is more expensive
>>10758263... the pandemic?
>>10758215i think its also just new releases have sucked for many brands over the past couple years or so, and when an actually good dress comes out everyone wants it so it holds it value for reselling too. there are plenty of newer releases that I never see popup secondhandthen general trends of now everyone is into old school, original moitie and "golden age" ap now so all those prices have blown up
>>10758263This time white people are getting killed so the war is more important
How can I find lolita related happenings and events in Japan? what are some search tags I can use to find them? My Japanese is mediocre but I want to try going to markets and the like.
>>10758368Hell, even the prices for MM have reached new heights. VM too, to a lesser extent.
I have nowhere else to post this but herethe most scottish post I ever did see
>>10760606sounds like an american larping a scot. why would anyone even want to do that
>>10760612Reminds me of the scandal where nearly every article on the Scots version of Wikipedia was written by an American teenager and nobody cared for years
>>10757253That’s the mole girl mentioned here >>10757280Her mother forces her to wear lolita and to become an idol. She shoves the poor girl in front of well known people such as Misako and Tokyo Fashion to sponge off them. The mom gives me bad vibes and will redirect conversations to only talk about herself and her daughter.
I decided to take a look at the Bodyline website for the first time in ages. Found a couple of bargains but when I went to checkout, I couldn't select the 'P-mail' option. Anyone know about this? There doesn't seem much point in spending more on shipping than the items themselves. Is there a way round it? Have I missed something?
>>10760424Not sure it's exactly what you're looking for, but there's a closed FB group for English-speaking lolitas in Tokyo. You'll need to provide proof of residence/tickets to get accepted
Okay, this is not really a lolita question but I am having a total mental blank and hope you gulls can help. What was the style that got big around the same time as mori-kei which was more into rich jewel tones but otherwsie kind of similar in vibe?
>>10761594they stopped offering pmail because of the pandemic and then never brought it back
>>10761612dolly kei?
>>10761612grimoire?
>>10761622Thanks anon. I hope they come up with some cheaper shipping options or deals at some point, it's probably putting off a lot of overseas buyers.
Did those whores at AP USA ever find our missing items or what? They could've refunded us if not, the stuff I want is still on the JP site
>>10761623>>10761672Thanks anons. I think it must have been dolly kei.
>>10761761It’s not AP US’s fault. Blame the shitty postal service. The US uses couriers which are worse than what a third world country has. I wish I was joking.
>>10761882As someone who buys stuff online all the time from so many countries, USPS is far superior than most private postal services. I've had multiple issues with other postal services outside of the US and UPS or FedEx. DHL is more reliable but rare issues with customs for them like multiple times having packages get so destroyed during customs they had to be repackaged by DHL and I was notified of it.But with USPS as soon as it gets on American soil zero issues most of the time. And domestically zero issues. Maybe a bit slower back at the peak of the pandemic but even when mail in voting was taking up a ton of resources a package from California took maybe a week and a half instead of a week. I live in a major city though and I have had a shitty USPS driver for my neighborhood back in high school but it was one person who consistently did poorly, while everyone else was fine.
>>10761882AP USA charges so much for insurance though. They should refund us the money or start charging less for shipping
>>10761888As an online seller I've always felt USPS gets unfairly shit on. I've had far fewer problems with them than any other service
>>10761990This. Like yes there are occasional fuck ups but rarely is it due to the postal service and most often in my neighborhood has to do with porch pirates and stolen postal keys from carriers getting robbed at gunpoint. Even with that I haven't had a package stolen or lost almost ever with USPS because I live in an apartment that has secure package storage rooms. Other carriers manage to fuck shit up way more than USPS somehow even when controlling for that. The anti USPS sentiment is not really warranted.
>>10751804I use japonica but it's been shitty for a while. My old SS stopped working completely. Japonica loses me anything that is popular or a good price. They're definitely slow but reliable
>>10762005Jumping on the USPS bandwagon to say USPS is always so gentle with my packages and makes sure to hide them behind my furniture on deck. Meanwhile DHL just fucking chucks it in the general direction of my address. I really do like them and the number of quality of life services they have for free or cheap is astounding.
>>10761990NAH, fuck them. Their tracking sucks and they've lost two of my past three packages
>>10762114Agreed. The amount of times I've seen my package sit at my local post office for days for no reason or even get misplaced for weeks is infuriating. I've never had any other service leave a package past the estimated delivery day, even during the height of COVID, and their tracking is always precise, but with USPS my packages go days without updates and I've had packages arrive a week past their estimated delivery. I'll use them for orders within the US to save money but I go for Fedex and DHL for international packages to save myself from stress.
>>10762320This. Fedex has awful service where I'm at so I use DHL for anything I care about and EMS for everything else. I've had things get lost but it's never the fault of my local USPS. While my local branch is fine, USPS as a whole is garbage and I only use them when I have to.
ripped from btb, not sure where it goes but got a hearty kek. how are my fellow caregiver littles today?
>>10762353Cranky, daddy hasn't changed my crinkle winkle thong diaper yet.
I give up. I came to this board to be a sex pest because there are women here and a board about women taking about their cosplays could only be sensual right?Wrong. It's equal parts boring and cringe and even the threads about posting bad cosplays and laughing at them are boring because they're bad in boring unspectacular ways. The pics of the girl dressed in realistic KLK outfit were decent but nothing else interesting was seen during my sojourns to this board. I give up, I see the errors of my essays and I will become a gay as penance. Now I will browse this one last thread and then go to sleep forever from boredom.
>>10751613Oh yeah btw just look for some Twitter or insta that posts new releases and need and subscribe or set up an RSS to your email, then your won't have to come here at allOff to die now goodbye
>>10761882What? If it's shipping from the manufacturer, it's likely they do it by boat way ahead of schedule.
>>10762370You fucking mong. Kys you "sensual" scrote.
>>10762331NAYRT but I also only use DHL or UPS now.USPS has sent me packages with gaping holes, sometimes with items broken or missing from falling out, crushed or soaking wet boxes, or, my favorite, they constantly put my items in the wrong mailbox or at wrong house. My favorite is when the packaging somehow got so destroyed by them that the item literally flew out of the box and it's a 50/50 change that I still get the item in their We're Sorry bag or if I get the empty packaging shoved into my mailbox with nothing inside.9/10 times I pay for full insurance and get signature confirmation and this still happens. Sometimes they even lie and say I signed for something when I didn't. It is such a pain in the ass trying to file for a missing package as well. Every time it takes forever and the person helping me seems like they don't even know how to do their job. Fedex once lost a package of mine too. I have a doorcam and they never delivered it. It was a huge box. But the tracking said delivered so they did nothing about it.UPS and DHL have been incredible. I have yet to get an obliterated box and the few times UPS delivered to the wrong house, they reimbursed me. Never had an issue with DHL ever.Fuck USPS. Fedex was usually okay but that one time my package vanished in thin air made me not trust them anymore.
Did Japonica always ask for VAT/ Tax ID number for shipping? I'm using surface.
>>10763683I think it might be required for seamail in Japan, the only times I've had to provide it were when I used funabin
>>10762616UPS delivered $10,000 worth of furniture to my house by just dropping it near my door without notifying me.
I am trying to get a dress shiped from Canada to Europe, I can't find an option cheaper than 78usd for a 1kg package and the untracked goes for 50usd which I find outrageous. I checked Canada Post, FedEx, DHL. Canada post offers the 78usd method. Am I missing something here? Which service you Canadians use for ship internationally?
>>10763698You're not missing anything, shipping prices from Canada to Europe are just retarded.
>>10763687What the fuck
>>10763687They have, on multiple occasions, bent important documents in half to shove them into our mailbox…
>>10763683You’re the customer right? You wouldn’t have a VAT number to provide. Japonica has to provide theirs if you’re a crumpet. >>10763686It’s not required if you aren’t shipping to the UK.
>>10763927It was required when they were shipping my items to Russia
>>10763928I wasn’t aware Russia required it too so I’ll make a mental note of it. The UK insists on VAT info since Brexit and I thought that was the only country that did.
>>10763698Sorry, it is expensive. I nearly cried when sending a blanket from Canada to Europe
>>10763927>>10763686I have no idea why they require this now when I used surface plenty of times with them and never asked. In fact, I ordered some shit through Buyee for my sister and they didn't ask for anything at all.>>10763928I am from South America, the only way to ship here is surface or private couriers. They offered me DHL but they asked for VAT too...They wrote this at the end, not sure it applies to my case.>UK & EU/EEA compliance will be strengthened. We received a warning from UK Customs regarding the underreporting of the invoice declaration price.>You cannot underreport.>We have to declare the full value example as follows.>Japan Post will not accept postal items without EAD effective June 20, 2022.https://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/ead/index_en.html
>>10764079Well, fuck... There goes my money, I have a $700 parcel sitting in their warehouse that I've been putting off sending, thinking I could always lower its value as normal
>>10764079I’m sorry they’re asking for a VAT number now. How would you get one if you aren’t a business? The EAD is their electronic label that’s required to ship to certain countries. It’s the sellers responsibility to fill it out but it’s easier than handwriting the labels and customs forms.
>>10763687Im from Canada so my only option from Tenso is DHL right now. The boxes often come really beat up with dents and holes. Once I got a package that was completely soaked. Good thing everything in it was wrapped individually in plastic.. This sort of thing never happened with EMS. We also get hit with customs 100% of the time with DHL, and with EMS it was only when you were unlucky.
>>10764246Cause DHL is charging you a fee for using their service period. Current lawsuit over it. Its not actually always “customs”
>>10764241Nayrt but it's either VAT or TIN, which every legal resident should have
>>10764254That’s the TIN. VAT or VATID are for businesses.
>>10764079>I am South AmericaFuck, are you for real? I've been avoiding burning my money buying from Japan because shipping from there has gotten legitimately cancerous during and after covid. I can't even buy from bodyline for fuck's sake. Well, good to know things are still horrible.I just want a couple of blouses please I refuse to buy from crappy indie or polyester taobao leftovers from itas.
>>10764267Yes, and they require either one, so OP should be able to provide her TIN with no issues
>>10764079So Japonica now must declare the full value + get some kind of tax number from you? Ffs. I'm jealous of Americans with their high threshold.
>>107616030 posts in a month, I can only imagine this is only the norm now since Covid?
>>10764079This anon again. After questioning Japonica on why they needed VAT now when they never asked before and some more frustrating exchanges(ESL vs ESL) turns out I could provide just my ID.>>10764321Yen is low now and surface shipping is affordable(A package of 5kg cost me 43 bucks when prior covid, shipping 5kg via SAL would have been like 80 or 90) It takes at the very least 3 months though.
secrets
>>10761603You don’t need to provide this kind of proof, wth. That comm is no longer active anyway.
>>10765356Need to be a resident or tourist arriving soon. Don’t need to show a residence card or tickets though. Not having meets because Japan is still strict on Covid.
What's you guys' favorite dress cuts?for me personally:>old school style OPs with detachable sleeves>simple square necklines, tea length dressespic unrel
>>10765430I like the old school ones too, and anything with a longer bodice.>Least favorite: sack op
>>10765367Tell me you aren’t in Japan a little more. The restrictions let up months ago and there have been events and tea parties held outside of the comm.
>>10765430I love it when JSKs have some sort of front panel like this! It just makes the whole dress look more interesting.
>>10765356So they don't do meetups anymore?
>>10765487Does your comm not allow anyone to make a meet?
Would a leather jacket or something fit with a dress or not? Thinking about getting one.
>>10765430OPs with yokes and peter plan collars, and collared/yoked JSK. I just love the contrast of straight/structured lines and floof
>>10765749Which dress? Aatp had some rider jackets that were very unpopular kek. but there aren’t many dresses a leather jacket would fit with and it would mostly look better without
>>10765749Leather jackets are common in modern sweet, brands have even put some put im the past and AP released some last year, but they're usually in bright colors to match the coord and have cute decorative details. An actual normie leather jacket would look out of place.
This new Baby print reminds me of Classic Fairytale by AP
>>10765939I love the concept & the artwork but the print up on the bodice makes it look very busy, especially in the lighter colorways, so idk if I'm crazy about it. This cut is great tho, immediately reminded me a little bit of of Bambi de la Forêt Secrete JSK I picrel
>>10765947I quite like that cut that they do, I've noticed they've done it a few times already!
>>10765947I agree that the lighter colorways look more busy though
Could anyone recommend where to buy oldschool style solid black or white/off-white otk socks with quality lace? The indie ones seem kinda crappy (but I'm open to any), the Meta raschel lace ones don't look that great close up (apart from the black ones perhaps), and the btssb ones seem really basic for the price?Maybe I'm just being a fussy bitch but I'm not feelin' it. I want to keep living my oldschool dreams.
>>10765939I always love apple prints, but it's too Disney like for me (plus not a fan of gold). The little squirrels and dwarf train are so cute though
>>10766058I don't know what you expect from a pair of old school socks if you think baby's are too basic. I have their torchon lace utks and otks in multiple colors and I own duplicate pairs of some because of how often I wear them throughout a single week. $20-30 is a good price for quality staples.
>>10766058What kind of socks are you looking for if you don’t like the traditional old school ones from brands? Innocent World has OTKs that may be simple enough. AP also has ones that are a solid colour with lace at the top although their logo is slapped on it.
>>10766153I think I've just been spoilt by much earlier releases, some of my socks are over 15 years old and the lace is cotton, multi layered and beautifully detailed.I'm an old fart and massively out of touch with modern releases. My expectations are probably a bit skewed.I don't think the btssb ones are bad or overpriced, they just seem pretty basic.
>>10766180For me, the lace layering (as apposed to a single band of lace) and detailing is what's missing in many releases. The plain moitie ones are beautiful but I keep missing them before they sell out. Thankfully there are some ATELIER-PIERROT otks still in stock that look more my style.I've been wearing certain lace otk socks from my collection for nearly 18 years (no joke!), so I'm well overdue for some wardrobe replenishing.
Does anyone have a stock photo, or even own, that ridiculous Taobao dress from a few years ago (maybe around 2016ish, can't actually remember) that had a devil/ demon print and then also the Star of David on it?I swear I have looked everywhere and now I don't even know if it ever existed or I have dreamt it up..
>>10766258>>10766261It’s not like old style socks are that hard to make yourself, just get some vintage lace and ribbon
