Are there any other good resources for lolita other than the obvious lolibrary, live journal, and glb?
>>
>>10677288
depends on what you are looking for, the lolita fashion wiki has quite the link collection and lolita history collects magazine scans
>>
Are there any good western wig brands? I don't want to support glw and dream holic wigs USA is always out of stock of the colors I want
>>
>>10677498
Arda wigs though they're mostly for cosplay they have few wigs that can work
>>
>>10677498
Tbh depending on the style try going to an actual wig store. I bought a hella cute bob for like $250 three years ago that I still use pretty regularly. If you can find a style that works for you daily wear wigs get way better mileage.
>>
>>10677498
Does Dream Holic ever update their stock? They've been sold out of certain cuts and colors for years.
>>
>>10677550
You should go direct to their taobao store there’s more there. Pretty sure the international site never updates
>>
>>10677562
Their TB store has even less wig styles.
>>
>>10677550
Don't even bother. Dreamholic wigs are absolute trash. I bought two and literally threw them both away.
>>
>>10677570
Really? I adore mine. Did you get them direct from their store?
>>
would it be acceptable to add white to a coord of this dress? in headdress and socks
>>
>>10677581
well you can, how it’ll come out is diffirent matter.

if you want to add white try to balance it by adding white belt or something white to the middle (cardigan maybe), and if you want white socks try white socks with black details in them.
>>
Is this fairy kei?
>>
>>10677588
Are you retarded? Even for the stupid questions thread
>>
>>10677588
no
>>
>>10677582
honestly i wanted to add the white so i wouldn't look like an all black blob

>if you want white socks try white socks with black details in them.

i like this idea, thank you

if i ditched the white idea, would being all black come out fine if i added textured/detailed socks?
sorry i'm stupid newlita trying to avoid new(ita)
>>
>>10677591
>>10677595
Well someone in the ita thread said that salopettes were made for fairy kei so I wanted to make sure
>>
>>10677581
The buttons are white, so there's already a white accent. If you want to do things like a black headdress with some white lace, white socks with black details (or vice versa), black bag with white details, etc, that would all be fine.
>>
>>10677600
They said that salopettes aren't lolita and that the particular salopette is fairy kei, retard
>>
>>10677588
Yes
>>
What type/brand of binders are fellow boob-chans on here using for lolita? I'm not exactly sure where to look for good quality ones and which to avoid.

>>10677588
Bad bait
>>
>>10677638
Most people wear minimizer bras rather than actual binders. They have a different shape and still try to give you somewhat of a shape of still having boobs. You can end up with boobloaf, though, so keep that in mind.

I don't have any personal recs, sorry, but knowing the term of what you're looking for might be a good start.
>>
>>10677776
Boobloaf is basically a part of having tits in lolita, you can't really avoid it unless something flattens the area.

Title 9 is good. It's what I've used since before, when I had triple D's into larger. Diet is pretty important for minimizing though, so don't just think a bra is going to solve everything.
>>
Could combining a long hoop skirt with a lolita blouse look good? Definitely not as a lolita coord but more just EGA
>>
>>10677794
A lot of cage skirts look super ugly on their own, do you have pics?
>>
>>10677807
I would never wear it on its own. I would wear it under crinoline and a top skirt that fits it.
The overskirt in question is a rather plain black cotton one similar to this
>>
>>10677600
>>10677604
"AP made salopettes for fairy kei" is just some made up misinformation by the western community that still continues to get parroted as truth.

No brand, AP or otherwise, ever said this. Have never heard any Japanese lolita ever say this, either. No idea where the idea came from.
>>
>>10677821
10 years ago. you wouldn't get it. sorry. maybe go try to find some cgl archives and maybe you will.
>>
What’s antainas email? I heard you can email them directly and they can customize shoes for you.
>>
>>10677861
Last I heard it was YOYO.0510@hotmail.com
>>
>>10677638
I have a couple binders from Underworks that work well, are relatively comfortable, and hold up over time. Check the guidelines to make sure you’re wearing it safely, but it’s pretty obvious shit like “wear the correct size” and “don’t wear it for more than 6-8 hours at a time”.

That said, >>10677776 has a point. I have a handful of both because I like options.
>>
>>10677976
Seconding underworks, though they are designed for trans men, so they definitely give a bit of a boob loaf effect. Personally I use a frog sports bra to reduce. It has less of a boob loaf effect for me. I use underworks for ouji/cosplay.
>>
>>10677960
That email is correct. As a side note: I tried emailing them a couple years ago but the person in charge of that account said they were on maternity leave and didn't say when they'd return. If you don't get a response, you can message them directly through TaoBao.
>>
>>10677638
I know the other two anons said underworks but I'd recommend gc2b. Underworks has more compression but they use this awful scratchy material and if you sweat even the tiniest bit it feels awful. Gc2b is far comfier imo
>>
Anyone know where I can get a blackxblack KC like this at? Everywhere I've looked is either sold out or not open right now.
>>
what is the best place to sell secondhand lolita? not a fan of lm and everyone here says it's shit anyway so where else?
>>
>>10677638
Binders hurt and make it hard to breathe for me. I had the most success by just not wearing a bra at all desu. No boobloaf, the dress squishes my boobs in by itself.
>>
>>10678073
Where did you see people saying Lm is shit? Like honestly you could try depop or Mercari but depending on what you have you'll sell way faster on LM
>>
>>10678077
in the ap main, a few times
>>
>>10678073
LM is the best there is, unless you choose to only sell to your local comm.
>>
>>10678076
>I had the most success by just not wearing a bra at all desu
In a similar vein I prefer to wear bralettes/less supportive bras when I want to minimize my bust. I comfortably can't go without a bra but the more supportive ones lift the breasts up and forward which makes them stick out more, thus harder to fit. There aren't many sports bras in my size and most are encapsulation types rather than compression types, those don't reduce my measurement at all.
>>
>>10678084
Well that's what you want wrong. AP fags are delusional to begin with.
>>
>>10678073
Everyone here is a drama queen. Lm has very lax mods lately so stuff has creeped up but it’s still absolutely the best place to sell Lolita stuff. You pay no fees and it is *still* the biggest western marketplace for Lolita goods by far
>>
>>10678183
I’ll never understand why anyone would try to sell on here. Maybe back in the old days. But gulls are fucking crazy and there’s no way I’m sharing my address with all the scrote trash that’s been invading these boards lately.
>>
>>10678217
Half the time I’m worried about giving out my address on lm too. I sold OTKs to that used sock collector guy before I knew what was up. Still creeps me out that he has my address from the return label.
>>
How much smaller should I be than the measurements of a jsk for it to fit right? I’m eyeing something on lm and according to lolibrary I should just fit but I don’t want to waste time/money.
>>
>>10678311
In my experience, around 2cm will be fine if you're just wearing a blouse. Up to 5-6cm if you're wearing a bra, singlet, and a knit.
>>
How long do you gulls usually wait for payment/conformation when selling items? I've had a newbie leaving me on read for a few days now and she already has one bad feedback for not having her address correct. Kinda wanna leave bad feedback and try to resell but I just want to get paid and sell already.
>>
>>10677283
What is a good shop for fairy kei shoes?
>>
>>10678361
It's good to put something in your profile about requiring confirmation/payment in a certain time period. Some people have loose rules. I had bad feedback 7 years ago that felt like it followed me because some shit in Mexico bought something and never gave me money. Told me she'd pay by a date then never did. I left bad feedback on her profile and she did on mine out of retaliation. Somehow it was still valid when I finally tried to clear it up because she made it sound like it was a 'me' problem even though she told me she'd pay me later and then just never did by the date. I was moving at the time, so I couldn't fuck around with that. I had to move right after that date, so she just was really fucking with me for 15$. Just give the mods a heads up that you want to cancel the sale, because a few days sitting usually is inclination they won't be paying. Especially with no communication. It's good to warn, because some people in that situation are retaliatory for whatever shitty reason.
>>
>>10677638
I use Spectrum UK, it’s a little longer than my gc2b one without being a full tank and a tad more comfortable. Alternatively for minimizing bras I like Chantelle or Wacoal
>>
>>10678076
>>10677976
>>10677776
>>10678025
>>10678469
Thanks for the advice, everyone!
>>
>>10678311
Side note: don’t rely on lolibrary measurements to a t. They are often inaccurate in my experience.
>>
>>10678495
Can confirm. Sometimes it’s actually substantially larger, other times it’s substantially smaller. The big ones I notice are AP skirts. Horror garden and dreamy planetarium both have very inaccurate measurements on lolibrary. That particular cut is a good bit smaller than described.
>>
>>10678390
there's a lot of fairy kei appropriate shoes, could you narrow down exactly what kind you're looking for?
>>
>>10678575
Sneakers, specifically

yeah I was around 10 years ago which is exactly why I have this stance. Sorry I'm not gonna accept your "just trust me bro" as proof.

Just for fun, I went back 10 years into the archive and over the course of 2012 - 2014, there were 2 posts stating "salopettes aren't lolita/salopettes are for fairy kei" - 1 that was very obviously just the poster's opinion, and the second was a misguided attempt at explaining pastel goth, so no, I don't exactly trust 2 people's opinionated posts as rock-solid proof. Especially with hundreds of other posts from that era that treated them as regular lolita pieces and talked about and coordinated them as such.

people like you really see picrel and go "not lolita" and yet never question tea length dresses
>>
>>10678495
Very true. One of my atepie dresses for example has measurements way smaller than mine when I fit the dress just fine and don't even squeeze into it.
>>
>>10678537
>Horror garden
Yeah I took a big L on this one. The waist is actually like 70cm maximum. And that’s pushing it.
>>
Im very new to lolita and was wondering if this is acceptable or cute?
>>
>>10678750
The brand is FELINAE COOKIE LOLITA but i can’t find alot of people talking anout it. It’s really flashy so I wasnt sure if it was good for lolita standards..
>>
>>10678756
>>10678750
Monstrous cosplay ita attire
>>
>>10678761

Thank you so much for replying, i wont get it and find something else. I guess i was blinded by the amount of frill hell
>>
>>10678750
It's tasteless and almost definitely trash quality and poorly constructed>>10678756
>>
>>10678768
You're okay nonnie. Especially with old-schoolers gulls can be into the whole lace monster thing but this one is very cosplay like.
Try to look at some more resources like gothic lolita bible if you want to get a better idea on the quality you want to look for.
>>
>>10678073
fril, jp mercari, xianyu
>>
>>10677638
just get your fucking jsks altered instead of making yourself a loaf
>>
>>10678195
if it's the same mods as a year or two ago, they are total shit. they deleted my negative feedback for someone and allowed that person to leave retaliatory feedback after. so i don't really want to sell on there

>>10678794
thank you for giving actual alternatives
>>
>>10678794
>>10678803
>>10678794
Garbage advice.
You can't sell on xianyu unless you have a mainland china ID.
Pretty sure you can't sell on jp Mercari or fril unless you're shipping from Japan.
>>
>>10678814
oh whoops i didnt even read sell i thought they meant buy lol, you prob cant better than lm for selling in that case. unless you want to pay hella fees on depop or mercari.
>>
>>10678814
>she doesn't know that shopping services will sell for you
kek.
>>
>>10678818
what about fb groups or ebay?
>>
>>10678768
Tbh I think a veteran could pull it off. With the right accessories length and aesthetic it could def count as Lolita, but if you’re just getting started avoid this dress and other like it unless you want to look like chobits or something.
>>
>>10678822
Even if you could sell through a proxy they would take an extra cut on top of the % the original site takes.
I've never seen a proxy that lets you sell through them anywhere and I regularly use proxy services to buy. Googling it doesn't come up with anything either.
Garbage. Advice.
>>
>>10678846
It has nothing to do with literally looking like a cosplay. That dress is going to be shit quality Taobao
>>
What's the quality of brand petticoats like? I was thinking of buying a BTSSB petti because my waist is a little big (I'm tall and in the upper range of the healthy BMI) and most Taobao won't fit me. The website says it goes up to 110cm waist, which is more than big enough. Is the poof decent? And is the sizing listed accurate?
>>
Why people praise AP? It has shit quality and mediocre designs besides the rare gems.
>>
>>10678923
I don't think brand petticoats are worth it desu
>>
>>10678929
Thanks. Saved me the money. I've been hearing good things about melikestea, are their custom pettis good quality for the money?
>>

Nakayoshi Bunny. It's coming out in cotton, rather than its original velveteen. Angelic Prophet in the AP thread discussed changes to the coming colourways.

Should I get a corset from Abilletage if I'm tall with a long torso ? Measurement wise, their biggest size is fine, but I'm afraid it will be too short and won't sit confortably on my ribcage for instance.
>>
Is it a replica if the lace says angelic pretty, the print says angelic pretty but the seller just can't find the tag to confirm it actually is angelic pretty?

I've never had a case like this where I was so unsure if it's a dress in a mint condition or a replica
>>
>>10678981
If there is no tag its a replica.
>>
>>10678938
I have rose voile with 4 layers. The seams tear quite easily especially with voile as the fabric, and the drawstring got stuck and I had to cut it off. It's also not as good as my Aurora & Ariel petticoat for dresses that need higher poof. But other than that it's comfortable and pretty good quality but I'd honestly just rather get one from Aurora & Ariel.
>>
>>10678913
Same anon who posted that image! I was wondering how to figure which pieces will be bad quality or not? Especially if its still preorder stage or something, if there is a way to figure that out that is- and what brands should I avoid? Especially gothic lolita brands if that helps
>>
>>10678750
This could be cute if it was made with nice materials imo. This definitely isn't made with nice materials so I'd give it a hard pass.
>>
>>10678893
You are so new. I sell with my S.S all the time.
>>
Do Brand oldschool pieces' values/prices "increase" the older they are (kind of similar to vintage clothing in a way?)
>>
>>10679018
no. are you new? prices are directly proportional to popularity, even for old school. no one gives a shit how old your crusty OPs are.
>>
>>10679021

Yes, and this IS the stupid questions thread lol. I saw some btssb old school pieces that weren't necessarily popular to my knowledge, more like basic, go up really high in a japanese auction, so I asked. But then I guess the basic black & white oldschool look is popular no matter what the specific pieces are maybe... shrug. Thanks!
>>
>>10678084
>>10678183
to be fair it probably IS shit if you're trying to buy AP pieces

>>10678981
that's sketchy as fuck anon, i wouldn't buy that
>>
>>10679018
Depends. Applique and screenprinted ones certainly do if they’re in decent condition. They also need to be cute. There’s some fugly old school pieces out there.
>>
>>10679083
This. A piece just being old isn't going to cut it. Before there were prints, they would screen print designs onto the border of the fabric. Those are going to be way more valuable than a generic dress, especially if it features some old wonky cuts.
>>
>>10678990
I bought a shirt directly from AP that didn't have a tag (Cherry Collar Blouse), but it was just a blouse. Definitely weirded me out though.
>>
is there any plan for haenuli to come back someday?
>>
>>10679423
i hope not!
>>
Will the bow here work with this dress? If not then Where could I get a headpiece that will match for the jsk, besides hoping that the original will pop up secondhand?
>>
>>10679368
Did you check the side seam, AP tags and the care tag are on the side
>>
>>10679431
why?
>>
>>10679495
Eh. Maybe it's just the stock photo, but that bow has a bit of a 'soft' look IMO for that JSK, a little more on the mature sweet side. I would find something crisper, like a maybe a generic cotton lace BTSSB black x black headbow. That's just my opinion, though.
>>
>>10679495
It's good enough. Some other ideas - pink headbow to match the check bows, or a striped headbow like the one in the print
>>
>>10679495
You could also add pink details to it diy to make it work better.
>>
>>10679008
Doesn't change the fact that it would cut into the amount you make drastically.
Anyone can claim they do this though. Proof or it didn't happen.
>>
>>10679515

>>
>>10680416
Neither. You'd be better off just getting something that actually fits you. It's not really about your weight here but your measurements. Even if you were skelly it would likely still hang like that. It doesn't look that bad desu but it seems your torso is rather long for this blouse. Unless you had another one of these, altering it wouldn't really do anything since you'd need more of this exact fabric to put into it.

If you have a tracking number you should be able to see where it is through https://www.parcelmonitor.com/track-global/ or the UPS site if you're in the states. If not, don't lose hope and keep diligent to prevent package thieves, or if you get sent a message about insufficient address, find out what happened. Basically be patient yet proactive.

10cm bigger in the bust probably won't be too bad but 20cm bigger in the waist would personally be a deal breaker for me.

Can hanging a blouse under a JSK long term cause any damage? I'm probably overthinking this but want to be sure it's safe. I have mainly white blouses so I'm wondering if color transfer from the main piece should be a concern, although it's never happened between dresses hanging in my wardrobe. I'm also wondering about any stretching from hanging the blouse, but I don't think that would be an issue as most of my blouses are sturdy cotton.

it’s so frustrating, isn’t it? i also try not to wear too much foundation even on non-broken skin because it makes me get zits/clogged pores, which i then pick at and make worse T-T
i’ve found that crocheting helps keep my hands busy and gives me some time to zone out and let my thoughts wander in the same way they do when i pick my skin. it’s sort of killing two birds with one stone because it makes me pick less and also i can put time into the far more worthy cause of lolita/jfashion crocheted accessories.

>>
>>10681168

>>10681167
It doesn't work like that, it's automated. If two people bid on the same thing, the exact same amount, at the same time, whoever clicked the submit button first becomes the new highest bid.
The other person will have to bid higher than the new highest bid to win.
If the item current bid is $30, you can also 'bid' $100. That will bump the current bid to $31 with you being the highest bidder, and lm will ghost bid for you up to $100. Hopefully that helps

>>10681167

How hard are these rocking horse-type (?) shoes to walk in? The ones I'm thinking of getting have foam soles.
>>
>>10681310
Not any harder than walking in heels.hard you have some kind of preexisting balance issues or are retarded you’ll be fine
>>
hi nonnies, i have a shoe question especially for the classic lolitas here! my current style is very mori/natural kei but i’ve been wanting to start wearing classic lolita for a while and my only concern is the shoes. i walk around a ton so if i wear uncomfortable or badly made shoes i end up destroying them and my feet pretty quickly. i’m also a student without a ton of money so most of my clothing is handmade or second-hand and most of my shoes are from consignment shops or thrift stores. my current go-to shoes are a pair of regular (non-platform) doc marten Mary Janes, some heeled loafers, another pair of Mary Jane flats that i don’t know the brand of, and ugly sneakers that i run in lol. would it be ugly or ita if i just stuck with Mary Jane-style comfortable shoes, assuming they’re properly color-coordinated and don’t look cheap, and i wear nice socks with them and everything? or are there other shoes you would recommend that work well for classic lolita but are still fairly comfortable and sturdy? i could also theoretically embellish some more boring shoes with bows and whatnot, i’ve been sewing for a while so i know how to make things look polished and neat. i’ve loved the look of classic lolita for a long time but i just haven’t known how to get around this. back when i just wore impractical shoes everywhere and powered through, my feet hurt all the time and it was harder to get exercise throughout the day because i dreaded going on long walks.
>>
>>10681316
please break up your paragraphs next time, i got a headache trying to read that.
anyway you'll need to add a picture of what you think are 'mary jane style comfortable shoes' because i'm not sure what you're talking about.
>>
>>10681317
sorry about the paragraphs, that’s my bad.
the photo is an extremely loose idea of what i mean, i’m just referring to Mary Jane style shoes with one or two straps. flats or a small heel is fine for me but i don’t like the “tiktok alt” look of big chunky platforms at all.
in terms of colors i’m talking about muted pastels, natural tones, or black— no bright colors.
>>
>>10681341
& in terms of comfortable shoes i just mean shoes that won’t tear up my feet too badly when i walk in them.
>>
>>10681341
no worries, all good.
These shoes will work for a casual coord. it would make your outfit more sweet because they don't look more mature and structured like a victorian style boot or classic style oxfords would.
but these can go with classic things. especially if you're able to add a bow on the front.
the chunky platforms are more for gothic coords so you don't need to worry about those.
I don't have budget recommendations, but you could likely find something for a good price if you thrift.
>>
>>10681343
thank you, this is all very helpful!
yes, i was actually planning to go to the thrift store today to fill in my wardrobe a bit more and i wanted to get some advice beforehand on the shoe thing!
i’m on the lookout for a good pair of oxfords actually, haven’t found ones that i’ve liked yet but i’m sure it’ll just take time.

Would it be bad/replica wearing level of me to make a colorway of a dress that never existed but the same design? AP's Dreamland release never came in pink x brown, only mint x brown and pink x white and dark pink x white. I am thinking of making a pink one and edited the mint one to pink just to see.

If I make picrel would people find it tacky or bad? I buy from AP regularly, they just never released this dress and if they ever do probably won't have new colorways and it'd be poly.
>>
>>10681359
i don't think it's tacky at all, since it's never existed in this color. even if it did come in pink x brown i couldn't fault you for making it yourself since i haven't seen this come up for sale. And it's not like you're trying to sell it to people.
I think you should go for it! It would be so cool to make it yourself too.. if you told me that, i'd probably fangirl over you for your sewing skills. Also it might be even cuter if you replaced the brown pocket covers with brown bows to match the bigger center bow.
>>
>>10681361
I was thinking of doing a hybrid between the JSK and OP since they're so similar and I like elements from each. I wanted to do the jsk but instead of the big waistbow I love the contrast of the brown belt/waist area on the OP. Maybe I could even make the JSK as normal and make a separate detachable brown belt.

I don't think anything "happened", anon. She's a model with no exclusivity contract; just seems like other brands have picked her up which has either made her too busy for Baby or other brands are paying better, or her style is shifting to that more classic pink house style so she wants to do more of that kind of modeling

I'm sure she will be back modeling for Baby once there's an event or tea party or something

Did you just not bother to read the rest of what I said? The buyer didn't read the description, I described every single bit of damage in the listing. It was not only packed as well as humanly possible, but I made it look cute too. I'm saying the buyer didn't read the description and told me "hey this arrived damaged" after I asked if they received the items and is now not leaving feedback.
Most of the horror transactions involve me buying and not selling items, by the way. I rarely sell.
>>
>>10681445
To add onto this, they had no complaints about the main item - it's the free gift with purchase that needed TLC (which was very clearly stated in the listing) that they're upset about

>>10681445
You didn't make it clear at all that your horror stories were from buying and not selling. I read your post. I really don't see why I would put "beware - the absolutely free brand gift you will be receiving along with your perfectly fine main item is damaged!" in the title. It's the buyer's responsibility to inspect the listing before they commit to buy something imo, and it's really on them if they decide to be mad about a free gift being in need of repair. Am I in the wrong here?

How do you gulls store your lolita things? I'm thinking of Ikea Kallax boxes. I want a dustproof solution. I just hang everything including my socks and headdresses. I put my soft bonnets in a little bag and hang those up too. JSKs with elastic straps go on hangers with clips so the elastic doesn't wear out.

NTA but because she literally wore AP.

She made some songs (often about a girl getting creeped on/gaslit/abused and her feelings on it) which would have been bad if merged with lolita so when she was asked what she wore while in AP she claimed it was an adult baby brand.

Because you know, lolita being associated with:
>Driving next to me real slow, he said
>Let me take you for a joyride
>I've got some candy for you inside
would be a fucking nightmare for actual lolitas.

Her clothing was styled in a age player way, so you couldn't confuse it but western lolitas found it offensive that she didn't call AP a lolita brand. She didn't pass the sticker test, and if she did she wasn't wearing a headpiece or wristcuffs.
>>

Much of her music tends to be about disliking being sexualized or relationship struggles, her child abuse, etc. Some of it is cringe though. As a teen I thought it was relatable as I had a rough childhood and went through a phase where I enjoyed her stuff but knowing about the rape situation made me never want to listen to her again.

Anyone openly admitting to being a current fan of her at this point creeps me out considering everything.
>>
>>10681730
It was proven that the girl who accused her was lying that she was forced. There’s plenty of shit to hate her for like the adult baby pandering and the muh weeds shit but stop lying about the rape. It was made up by a jealous BPDwhore who was trying to get attention for her album drop.

I haven't looked it up since the initial Timothy making the claim and Melanie saying it was consensual and I tend to want to give the victim the benefit of the doubt. If it's true it was a lie that's a relief but Melanie's music still aside from the more serious topics has some cringe moments woven in there like the nlog stuff another anon mentioned.

Plus her calling lolita adult baby clothes really rubs me the wrong way. At least Katy, Nicki, and the like seemed to just like the clothes and not try to pretend it's something else whether they wore lolita appropriate coords or not. Nicki even called herself a Harajuku Barbie back in the day which was a reference as a kid I actually never understood until I learned about and began wearing jfashion.

How do ap replicas work? I saw one on lm, the seller had got scammed and was trying to sell the replica. However the dress looks really good from the pics. Or are there dedicated scammers who take the effort to make really convincing dresses?
>>
>>10682179

Dedicated scammers, there have been convincing AP replicas for years now.

Some dresses like Dream Marine have such good replicas that it's best not to buy them second hand unless the proof pictures clearly show the tags. And even then I think there have been issues with replica tags before.
>>

I'll keep this in mind if I buy secondhand AP though, good to know.

Glittertale has a cute duck print.

Usually under a significantly chunky amount of hair that will keep it in place. They just slip right out if you only use a little bit

use bobby pins

use a little clear hairtie to tie a tail, and then place the barette above it. the hairtie will stop the barette from slipping down.

How many cm larger before a garment looks baggy? I'm looking at a piece and I'm worried it might be too big on me. My b/w is 85 cm and 70 cm, but the dress is 99 and 83 cm respectively.
>>
>>10683227
is that the max or min measurements? and are you wearing blouses or a bra with padding beneath?
>>
>>10683231
It's an unshirred OP, no blouse underneath. I wear a sports bra or a minimizer.

Unless you're a lolibrarian, it will remain in your drafts until someone posts it. A few of my submissions got posted pretty fast, but now I have one that's been sitting in my drafts for months

It really depends because it's all volunteers. I'd recommend joining the discord so they can tell you what you missed so they can be approved faster.

i've seen some duck/rubber ducky prints come out from taobao shops before, usually in the spring

How long does baby sf usually take to ship things out? I have a receipt but I'm paranoid I didn't actually get the item I wanted.

Is there a way to temporarily turn a waist tie into some kind of head bow ?
I want to wear a dress to a meet but i don't have any matching headbands yet. I do have the waist ties however.
>>
>>10683329
No, that'd look kind of ridiculous. Just go without a headpiece and make sure your hair looks nice otherwise
>>
I'm quite skinny and on the tall side (171cm) but my arms are proportionally larger (28cm). I find that blouses tend to be tight in the cuff and ride up in my armpit due to my height and arms. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone with my proportions?
>>
>>10683331
Ok you're right it would look silly! will do, i'll also make sure i have good makeup too. I should be able to find a headpiece soonish since my dress just got another release
>>
>>10683332
Le caroussel does custom sizing like that without extra cost, they'll be able to make the cuffs larger and they're pretty cheap and decent quality.
Or you could rip out the elastic and put in looser elastic on a blouse

Are Lor and Tyler still friends after that one video Tyler made? I doubt it considering I haven’t seen them in each other’s videos/ talk about each other in their videos like they use to.

What kind of style is swankiss? Fancy Larme?
Are there other similar brands?
(I don’t like axes femme/rouge that much, its never as cute as swankiss and the quality is worse)

I never really posted my coords on social media until recently, but what's up with Aliceholic? Was it ever very popular? Tried signing up but it just keeps giving me error messages.
>>
>>10683601
I believe it was more popular maybe 6 or 7 years ago and then everyone migrated to facebook COF or ig for posting frills. I don’t think alice holic is cared about or updated by their devs

10/10 plus the one I bought had this cotton flannel lining or whatever which was warm af

Are there any brands or shops selling petticoats for tea-length dresses?

Are VM shoes real leather? I know a lot of their bags are PU so I’m not sure if their shoes are also inclined to be.
>>
Ok I think my question is really stupid but I’m just kinda lost on bust measurements. So I see 40 something centimeters a lot, so for example 45 centimeters/17.7 inches. Is a 17 inch bust real or something? I measure at the widest part of my bust and all around and get 31 inches/78.7 centimeters. Am I just too big there and need to get a slimming/minimizing kind of bra? When I measure halfways and not all around 17 inches is fine, so is it possible that clothes are measured like that and not all the way around?
>>
>>10684248
Clothes are often measured "flat" and not full width. Just double the measurements if they seem too small to make sense.

Depends on the shoe. The Oxford Lady Pumps for example, are real leather. You should really just look at the product description if possible. Or ask if it's secondhand.

It's been a week since I ordered from baby and they still haven't shipped. Is this normal?

does anyone know which headdress this is? it's by baby but I can't find it on lolibrary but maybe I'm looking right over it every time
>>
>>10684829
Yes, I waited 2 or 3 weeks for my order from Baby SF to ship out before. If there's any issues they'll usually email you within the first week.
