Does anyone know what the name for this type of hard case made of fairly thick plastic with 1-2 holes for a lanyard or charms would be? Searching plastic case on aliexpress just returns phone cases and I have no idea what to search for when looking on Taobao.

Also, does anyone know why Candy Starry seems to have very few sales/reviews? I seem to remember them being alot more popular some time ago. https://candystarry.taobao.com/
>>
>>10668162
The store is dead, owner hasn't logged in in ages.
>>
>>10668162
Oh my, I remember having these as a kid. In any case, I did some digging around and found that these are called "cigarette boxes" for some strange reason I am unable to fathom. 烟盒 if you want to search for your self, and add 挂脖 or 挂绳 for the lanyard. Not many other cigarette cases have lanyards so it should narrow down nicely.

Anyway, try this out:
https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=652125511806

It's cute and brings back quite a few memories, so I might just pick one up myself.

>>10668223
Thanks very much. I imagine they were originally intended as hard cases for cigarettes but were coopted as a fashion accessory. Glad I could give you a nostalgia trip, lol.

That's a shame, I recall having them bookmarked for some time and being much more popular. Thanks anyway.

How good is the 11/11 sale? I'm seeing a 9/9 sale and have some low stock things in my cart I'm just thinking of buying now
>>
>>10669110
Some sellers raise their prices so they can then 'discount' their products for 11/11. In general I've found that most sellers offer only minimal savings, maybe 10rmb per 200. I don't frequent the same stores as most other posters in this thread however, so don't take my advice as fact. If I were in your situation though I'd just buy now. Spending a few dollars more is better than missing out on something that might not restock.

anyone having experience with sugargoo? reddit seems to be raving about it, but I don't really trust that as there has been issues with paid advertising disguised as comments
>>
>>10673688
I like it so far. The shipping prices are lower than that of other services. The only annoying problem I had was they included a carton box for a purse that I specifically asked them to remove, which increased the shipping fee I had to pay. Go to sugargoo's own Reddit page and you'll see lots more complaints, but take them with a grain of salt because they come from kids reselling fashion replicas.
>>
>>10673681
Thank you!
>>
>>10673688
I'm using them for my current order. The deposit fee seems a bit high although it might be the same on Superbuy, which I've previously used, and I just can't remember properly. They seem to have pretty good customer service and don't charge extra fees for ordering from Xianyu.

>>10673713
>they come from kids reselling fashion replicas
I'm one of these people - albeit not a kid, reselling nor complaining. The intentions of those fake clothing boards isn't to resell, it's to promote and share the stuff for personal use. I don't doubt that there are people on there looking to scam those unaware, though. And the fake clothing, shoes especially, industry is being strongly affected by China's current covid wave which is causing strict lockdowns etc in some parts of the country which are responsible for much shoe production.

I'm trying to buy something off Xianyu via Sugargoo. I submitted my order, paid for it, then a couple of hours later it was marked as purchased. However, when I check the Xianyu page myself, its still available. When I contacted Sugargoo about it, they said the seller had "closed the sale" or something like that. I asked them to check what was going on with the seller and let me know, but I didn't get any messages from them for some time, so I refunded the purchase and that was processed quickly.

There are a couple of the sweater I'm buying available in my size, so I tried a different listing. So far, it's been marked as purchased, but is again still available on Xianyu. What's stranger is that last week, I did this with a different item and once it was marked as purchased on Sugargoo, it also became unavailable on Xianyu. Does anyone know what's going on here? The only solution I got from asking elsewhere was someone saying he had the same issue and he had to order then refund the same listing 3 or 4 times before it was finally properly purchased. I'm certain that neither listing is someone looking to buy the item in question.
>>
>>10674266
Apparently some of their staff refuse to deal with sellers on Xianyu and just mark things as purchased just to be done with it.

Anyone know if Sugargoo leaves reviews on Xianyu sellers? Bought a brand dress and it arrived at the warehouse. I wanted to leave a courtesy thanks to the seller but I'm gonna be leaving it in the warehouse for a bit to get a bigger haul & not sure if there's a Xianyu time limit to leave reviews. Not certain about your question - probably a bit late now anyway - but I've found recently that Sugargoo CS won't ask questions to sellers anymore. Which is strange, because mid last month they were happy to, but I've asked them several times to contact a seller for me and inquire about something only to be told to make the order and get photos of the item in hand then refund if I'm unsatisfied. So, probably not.
>>
What's the best agent for ordering from Xianyu?
>>
>>10683243
I can't answer your question specifically but my experience with buying from Xianyu via Sugargoo hasn't been too smooth. You have to pay for priority purchase (5rmb) and write something like
>Hello, this is a hot item which may sell out quickly, please make sure that agent purchases quickly, I have purchased priority service
They completed the purchase in an hour or two when I did this but took a day or two when I did so without.
>>
>>10683243
I never tried any other ss so I can't compare. Have been using superbuy and never had any problems. The items are usually purchased the same day or the next one the latest. Quality check has also been working good for me, like noticing a spot inside a petticoat or asking me if I want to return the item just because the hanger was broken
>>

If you won't be distraught over missing out on it if it sells out, or if it's the sort of thing that won't sell out and they keep producing, it might be a good idea. Noone really knows how long the price increases will last and how long until fair prices trickle down to consumers. The item I tried to add to the list was definitely available, the Roji Roji socks everyone has. I tried making another list too and that didn't work either.
>>
>>10687575
just go for a different agent, tons of people having issues with them lately anyways

It also seems like the old manufacturer no longer has a contract with bodyline, so they just sell it on their own stores as well. So the bodyline ones are still floating around on taobao/aliexpress.

Have they got an English translation for the app?? I have it installed and regularly use it.. but it would be so much easier if it could be put into an "English mode" or something? Especially if they are moving all the features over to the app.

I don't think so. If you want to buy stuff from China it might be a good idea to learn Mandarin. It's not that hard.
>>
>>10690525
Not going to happen considering Taobao is slowly killing off the access for foreigners due to the government. Even if you manage to order something, chances are high your account gets banned for no visible reason before you can even get it shipped out.
>>
>>10690908
god damn it taobao, why???
>>
>>10690908

>>
>>10690908
does this mean i might be fucked buying stuff directly on taobao & having it sent to the ss?
>>
>>10690908
I have had my account since 2013 and regularly buy directly without an issue. They went through the effort of adding world.Taobao and creating international shipping warehouses, I don't see why an English version of the app would be completely unlikely.

>>10690934
It works out significantly cheaper for me to buy it all and send it through their warehouse than use an SS, 4PX gets to me in 6 days vs, EMS which is taking a month for me at the moment and the price hikes have gotten ridiculous. I personally find it much easier to do it all myself than rely on my SS.

>>10690960
If you have got as far as adding your Alipay account and buying stuff, its unlikely they will randomly ban your account.
>>
>>10690981
>I don't see why an English version of the app would be completely unlikely.
Because that's what Aliexpress was made for and the Xi wants local websites to stop interacting with foreigners because "it's a bad influence". Have you not read news lately?
>>
>>10690988
Lol no, the news where I am is purely Covid, Covid, Covid. But my point is why make and give international options if they are so anti-international? That's why I am wondering is it really that unlikely.

Regardless, I don't need it. I was wondering if it was possible only because I am lazy, but absolutely not the end of the world if not.

I'm adding stuff to my cart using Sugargoo(First time using them, since 42agent won't let me add things to my cart for some reason)
But I can't find anywhere how much are their fees, I can only find this:
>Total cost = commodity cost + international freight + packaging fee + value-added service fee (optional if necessary)
>Commodity cost: the selling price of the commodity + freight from mainland China (freight for shipping the commodity from the seller's location to Sugargoo)
>International freight: according to the weight of your goods, the choice of shipping mode, shipping area calculated by the freight, you can click on the product information page,Check out our rates and estimate international freight charges at View Details.
>Packaging consumables fee: ¥8
>Value-added service fee: Please refer to the content of value-added Service in the Help Center for details

sorry if this is obvious I'm ESL...
>>
>>10692634

Usually it's the discount for the chinese "girls' fetival", but a lot of shops abuse it for making it look like if there is a discount when the discount is just the regular price and the listed 'original' is fake, so it's just 59.

How long does it take for packages to arrive by sea these days? Been waiting for a package for just over 1.5 months, which is long for me since I normally get sea packages in 25-30 days, give or take.

You're gonna be waiting for a while, shipping is super backed up in China. Even my most recent EMS package is going on 30 days now.

The weights and volumes represented there are not very accurate. Most people say to do a 'rehearsal shipping' which costs 20rmb to give you your package weight before shipping so you don't get overcharged and have to get a partial refund after it arrives to you.

>>
>>10701970
Didn't do that with my last two orders, the agent just lowered the package worth from 150 to 20 euros and it worked.

>tfw i need to order stuff for Katsu but now I’m not sure it’ll come on time
>>
>>10701671
Update to this: I was told by Sugargoo that my package had shipped, then 20 minutes later received a message saying that they had altered the declared value to be lower because E-EMS has a maximum declared value, something not specified on the shipping methods page. Then, I asked if it's still possible to insure it for the full value and they told me that it's possible to insure up to 1500rmb, the max declared value. I asked them to insure it, saying I would pay, which they didn't respond to until ~3pm, saying that I had to purchase it myself from an obscure menu as an 'add on', but could only be done 48 hours after paying for the parcel; I the deadline was at ~2pm.

This is ridiculous. I think I'm going back to Superbuy after this shit and will be charging back everything if my package is lost.
