Anyone have reccs for blouses that lean on the cozier/less scratchy side? I currently have several cutsews from AP, but I'm nervous about making a blouse purchase since my skin freaks out with anything starchy/scratchy/itchy/etc.

Does anyone know anything about mr corset? How's their quality and fit?
are they considered gothic lolita? it seems they've been around for 10 years but there's not much info on them. i just ordered some gloves from them and hope they'll be nice
>>
anybody have any deodorant recs to prevent yellowing/sweat stains on dresses/blouses? no i will not be taking botox as an option.
>>
>>10666215
In my experience, when AP does do cotton, it's extremely comfy. Honestly bodyline cotton blouses are workhorses. Their pearl collar short sleeve blouse is great, but the pearls will fall off. The bunny ear blouse and shirring convertible long and short sleeve blouses are solid too. Sakurada Fawn on taobao has great blouses as well.
If you only want brand brand, I've only ever gotten AP and it really depends on the blouse if it's synthetic and you're sensitive.
>>
Has anyone ever had the print on an older Baby dress bleed for no apparent reason? Happened to me with an OP on an area around the upper arm (but only on one side). It's not sweat and it's not water, I didn't wear anything over it so nothing rubbed the fabric, what on earth could have happened? Is there any way I can fix it at all?
>>
>>10666286
Someone here reccomended the Kosas AHA deodorant a while ago and I switched to it and love it. It doesn't stop you from sweating but kills the bacteria that causes BO and I have had no staining on any of my clothes since switching.
>>
I've been out of the game awhile. what are the best places to find wigs/wig pieces I can style in 2010s sweet style? where's the best place to get a cupcake and A-line petti?
>>
>>10666286
Has anyone tried those underarm stickers that you can buy from Japanese grocery stores and Yes Style? Do they protect clothes and do they hurt like **** when you pull them off?
>>
>>10666330
Sounds like you were never in the game to me
>>
>>10666334
I have some off ali, I'm going to go put them on and update later tn
>>
>>10666330
Aurora&ariel for pettis, also melikestea

I know this is the stupid questions thread but good God this is a 'just Google it' question.
>>
>>10666334
I tried these a few times when I lived in Japan. They stick okay but they bunch up and are quite uncomfortable.
>>
>>10666339
thanks!

>>10666335
>>10666351
it's been a few years, and the places I used to buy wigs are older and some don't carry the same styles anymore. I was asking for new recs? don't understand why you're butthurt about it. Google gives you shitty costumey wigs. I've heard Dreamholic wigs are crap, Arda doesn't fit me.
>>
>>10666220
They're on the lolita floor in LaForet. But so is Nile Perch, so make of that what you will.
>>
>>10666392
I was more commenting on the petti question than the wig one, since everyone and their mother has asked about pettis every week it seems like and gotten the same responses. Nothing wrong with being new but a real oldfag would have just checked the archives.
>>
Been in lolita fashion for 4~5 years, still having a hard time getting used to the stares. Funny thing is laughter doesn't really bother me anymore but the eyes still sting more than anything else. How do I just stop caring? I think more than once some normies have taken a picture of me, but I try to view it in a positive light since we're all wearing masks, I don't think anybody can spot me if I wear normie clothes. I know it comes with the territory with sweet (I don't wear ott) but it happens when I'm wearing classic too, it's just not a place where even the concept of alt/street fashion is well known at all.
>>
>>10666403
You just deal with it. There’s no magic switch. If it’s such an issue for you to have normies looking at you then don’t wear lolita.
>>
>>10666403
Personally I like to think of anyone not actively participating in a fashion as an NPC, therefore invalid opinions.
>>
>>10666403
Personally the people who make it A Thing to stare at me are often obnoxious teen boys, boomer Karen-types, or "sorority girl" types. I've never cared about their opinions before so why would I when I'm wearing a dress I already view as wearable artwork
>>
>>10666406
Well, I'm not selling my wardrobe any time soon so I better try harder.
>>10666410
>>10666420
I like that, I should start thinking like that too. I appreciate the pep talk coming from the three of you, I'll be going out again this week and I don't want to bitch out again by putting down my parasol.
>>
>>10666286
So as a disclaimer, I don't sweat that much to begin with, but I like Arm and Hammer deodorant (I think it's an antiperspirant too) best. Sure it's not the cutest but I find that with other brands, even the "unscented" ones tend to leave this weird smell and residue which I can't imagine will have good long-term effects on garments coming into contact with it. This is the only one I've tried that doesn't do that.
>>
>>10666215
The lolita blouses I own are generally much more comfy than normie blouses. I only have cotton blouses though, so I'd advise for that
>>
>>10666403
Be proud and confident. You're like a star now!
>>
>>10666609
>>10666291
Thanks you two, I very much appreciate your input. Made my day. I'll take another look.
>>
What kind of blouse do I wear under a JSK with neck ties?
>>
Did Closet Child stop sending email updates for anyone else or is this normal? I see new items being stocked and sold, but no emails.
>>
would it be unacceptable to politely message someone asking if they're considering selling a specific piece and offer a high price for it? just want to shoot my shot since it will likely never show up for sale, if they say no I'll obviously thank them for their time and move on
>>
>>10666936
It’s rude and creepy
>>
>>10666936
It depends but it will probably just annoy them.
>>
>>10666784
They've been updating all week, without emails. It's pretty weird. I've been still looking at the updates, but yeah no emails. There has been a couple points where their website was broken for the links, so my only guess is that someone screwed up the code somewhere and they kept updating their releases but didn't email it out, because well you literally could no look through ANY of their categories outside of the "new release."

Pain in the ass, really. But I don't expect them to be HTML gods with that website, anyways.
>>
>>10666936
Yeah. That's pretty unacceptable. There is a large side of the community that never sells anything.
>>
Guys I’m the anon who asked about lolita raincoats in the past thread, thanks all for the advice I’ve just got myself a btssb one!

>>10666707
Why not just use sleeves/gloves and no blouse?

>>10666936
I personally wouldn’t care though if you messaged me and i might even sell to you. but people are different
>>
>>10666960
>Why not just use sleeves/gloves and no blouse?
Sinner.

I don't think this should be standard advice at all on every count. You're literally a minority opinion.
>>
>>10666965
To be fair this is what I think of when someone says neck tie jsk, so i hardly think it’s sinning. This is probably not gonna fit a blouse under it very well.

I forgot that boleros are also an option for these as well
>>
>>10666976
There are square collared blouses, anon. Those are usually the blouses that have neckties as well. They generally go together.
>>
>>10666979
I’m aware there are square collared blouses however i Dont think they look as good in this context and they are not really common right now. I’m just saying an alternative.
But we don’t know what kind of jsk the op was talking about anyway. so if it’s the oldschool babydoll op with neck ties then don’t listen to me
>>
>>10666936
I hate when people do this with no price offer because it feels like they are trying to get me to pity sell to them, or they’ll get mad if I tell them a high price, but if you state your offer upfront it isn’t as bad
>>
Crossposting here: I'm looking for a light cotton underskirt in ivory colorway similar to IW's underskirts, but just in cotton. I want to pair it with pic related. It has this see-through section which I want to cover. Bonus points for nice lace ruffles peeking through. Any idea where I could find one?
>>
Any fellow tall anons have good extra long sleeved blouse suggestions? Looking mainly for cotton old school but other styles are good too. I need like 65cm sleeves and I've only found one long sleeved brand piece that wasn't hideously short on me so far
>>
>>10667064
Maxicimam has a couple, some rereleases of the BTSSB babydoll and frill frill blouses go up to like 69 cm sleeves
>>
>>10666936
I'd personally be totally cool with it so long as you offered the high price up front and weren't creepy or rude about it.
>>
>>10666936
Yes, its rude. Like, think of it this way, if you saw your friend post a photo of their couch, would you ask them if they would sell their couch to you? I don't go over to my friends houses and ask me to sell me their belongings.
>>
>>10666286
Seconding the Kosas AHA deodorant. I live in a hot humid climate and it never leaves stains or yellowing and lasts all day. Like other anon said it doesn’t keep you from sweating but at least it won’t ruin your clothes and you won’t smell.
>>
>>10667118
people do that and it's not rude
>>
>>10667118
It's even less rude if you put it this way. Do you just have shit friends who are ready to divide up your stuff as soon as you're dead? I've been asked before and ended up selling a jsk for retail that usually sells at a big loss. It's not like anyone is suggesting to send more than just a simple inquiry and mention of future interest.
>>
How long is it until atelier pierrot ships out stuff to the US from when you order it?
I ordered stuff that was in stock 4 days ago and got a confirmation email and nothing else since, just curious what to expect
>>
>>10667415
From the personal shopping experience I had, it took like 2 week-ish honestly. They are a bit slow to pack things up, but I also did order something that they needed to put an order in with the brand for, rather than it come right from the store. So that might have been why it took that long. If it's not in their personal stock/warehouse(if they even have one) then they are probably ordering it from the brand itself.
>>
Anybody know the name of this dress? All I know is that it’s Putumayo but I can’t find it on lolibrary.
>>
Hey anybody knows what length petticoat AP miniskirts and salopettes need? Mine are all too long and too poofy, so I wanna invest in a shorter less poofy one

Does anyone know how long spreenow takes to place an order? It seems to be taking longer than other shopping services I’ve used

Does anyone know if the bows on the straps on these shoes (from Angelic Imprint) are removable? Looks like the one on the shoe is, but it doesn't mention the ones on the straps.

>>
>>10667867
Top ones are removable, ones on the shoe aren't
>>
>>10667874
Oh okay! Thanks, I got confused because the red ones don't have a bow.
>>
>>10666286
Cotton pads that either stick on the clothing or reusable ones that have a loop for the arm.
>>
>>10667874
Nah, it's clearly just a regular shoe clip. OP was right, the bows on the straps are the ones that aren't removable.
>>
>>10667918
Those are definitely shoe clips. But the bows on the straps could probably easily slide off and on even if they're not clips as long as they aren't tacked down.
>>
Anyone else still waiting for items from AP Paris' Heart Chest release? I got an accessory that's been MIA since then. Despite being shipped, there have been no updates to tracking; this is the first time the tracking info Paris gave me doesn't work. It usually would have arrived by now, but the time isn't so much worrying as the tracking not updating at all. I've been wanting what I bought for years now and finally got my hands on it new; I'd hate for it to be lost so just wanted to see if any others are in a similar boat right now.

I have a cutsew from them secondhand and wasn't especially impressed by the quality given their retail price, but the fabric and raschel lace were at least soft and comfortable. I would pay secondhand for them but not retail- liken them to something closer to a larme brand or axes in quality. Also, I was surprised at how large it fit. It was much too big for me, and I'm between a M-L depending on brand. I would be curious to know the quality of their dresses like the one you pictured, though.

>>10666297
Is it red or navy by any chance? Sometimes Baby's older red and navy items will bleed- normally from washing, but I wouldn't be surprised by rub-off bleed either, as that isn't an uncommon thing with dyes. Which means that likely the dress you own has never been properly prewashed... Make of that what you will given its age.

>>10667855
Try one of those 'sexy costume' Leg Avenue petticoats that you can find in costume stores since it's Halloween season, they are cupcake shaped and about 30cm long. I bought one years ago for layering but it also works like a charm for miniskirts.

What other lolita brands aside from AP and Melody BasKet add pockets?
>>
Atelier pierrot just created a shipping label for my package with the wrong apartment number, what do lol. It wasn’t shipped out yet and i just emailed them to correct it, but i’m still nervous.
I had entered my apt number in correctly because it’s correct on my purchase email. Atepie just left out the last number on the shipping label, so instead of ‘1234’ it is ‘123’. Luckily no apt exists in my complex for ‘123’. but anyway i don’t know if they’ll be able to catch it before it’s shipped?
>>
>>10668508
Your best bet is to search craigslist for machines. You can often scoop up vintage ones for really cheap or even free
>>
>>10668680
Update, they emailed me back they were able to change the address and will ship it out a day later, thank god.
>>
>>10668636
A lot of indie brands do. Some meta dresses have them. It’s also true that not every dress from any particular brand will have them. Best bet is to ask, or just settle for a pocket book/bag when you don’t get pockets.

I've gotten really buff from work and I'm having a tough time finding short-sleeved blouses that have normal brand sizing in the body but that have more generous bicep measurements in the cuff (aka, not plus sized blouses). IW L size is one that works for me but it's getting so hard to find their blouses now. I have 30cm biceps flexed, any recommendations?

>>10668145
I have seen very low-volume pettis floating around the secondhand JP market from various brands like Baby, VM and AtPie that might work for this. They were typically made with such layering in mind and made from just a few layers of tulle so I would search around secondhand and see what you find.

What sort of petticoat would be suitable for a 2007 moitie jsk?
>>
>>10670095
Low poof a-line, depending on how short the dress is (there are some very short older motie pieces) you may need to shorten a petticoat or seek out one that's already quite short. If you chose to shorten it yourself, I found it easier to actually shorter it from the top of the petti than the bottom hem. De-poofing a petticoat is a doable alteration too although sometimes an annoying one depending on how it's constructed

>>

>>
How is Ista Mori’s quality for that dress btw? The original question was never answered
>>
>>10669358
I have heard they used to be more true to size a while ago but any shoes I've gotten since like 2018 have run a size small at least.
>>10670134
If it's that old and black it probably won't still be bleeding assuming it's been washed somewhat regularly. Spot test to be safe, of course.

Where did anyone say it was fine? All anyone talked about was the design and whether it was a “meme dress”, not the quality. The first anon’s reply was obviously sarcastic since she doesnt own the dress

Has anyone bought from kaneko? I like this dress they have but the construction of it in the pictures has me wondering. the waist looks baggy and wrinkly, is this worth $350 or am i better off getting victorian maiden or something.
>>
So... used a shopping service for taobao, they ended up coming back because I moved in the last year (which desu this shit takes too long) and told me I needed to refund and reinvoice with a new address.

I've gotten all the new invoices? But no refund. Isn't this a little weird? I don't think I've ever heard of anyone reinvoicing without refunds. This is over 1k$. I've sworn off buying from taobao because, well, it's been almost a fucking year for this crap to get ready.
>>
>>10670393
Maybe. Most petticoats are a less poofy than the stock photo, and it will be deflated after being compressed for shipping. If you get it and it's too much poof, you can always remove a layer or two of tulle. But you really should wear a black petticoat with the dress you posted earlier

Dead giveaways that a dress is a replica? I bought something from Xianyu for the first time and am a little on edge.
>>
>>10670387
I don't but I'll just show her a pic and ask for "thin bangs". Thick bangs do not suit my face, and none of the American hairdressers seem to know how to cut the bangs rounded for some reason.
>>
>>10670589
Also my biggest fear is getting something from taobao and finding out it's supposed to be a replica
>>
>>10669359
If you mean new items, they did very briefly, but I don't believe they're an IW stockist anymore, no.

>>10669358
My general experience was that flat shoes run small to true, while pumps and other shoes with a heel run maybe half a size large. Don't know if this is still the case.

Is Milk good quality? Most of their stuff seems to be 100% polyester
>>
>>10671042
Eh not really. It's on the same level as Ank Rouge which is to say fairly cheap but not Shein or AliExpress cheap
>>
>>10671042
I’d say it’s pretty decent. I have some milk skirts and dresses and they’re not flimsy or cheap feeling. They are pretty comfy and easy to take care of, I can throw them in the wash and not worry about color bleeding or wrinkles. If you’re talking quality compared to forever 21, then it blows it out of the water
>>
>>10671042
Milk is good quality. I wear a lot of it day to day and it holds up well over time. The fit is always really nice too, but it would depend on your body of course. They made the switch to polyester in the last couple years but a lot stuff before that is cotton. Occasionally they still use cotton. The poly they use is good quality though. Way better than brands like Ank Rounge or Eatme. Like I never get a dress that feels questionable like other cheaper brands.
>>
>>10667019
Anna House and WithPuji are both taobao brands that might have what you want, they both have some cotton pieces but you'd need to check carefully. If you're willing to deal with synthetic Lady Sloth's underskirts are pretty comfortable and breathable, pretty sure they have a few ready made in stock right now.
>>
>>10668025
You'll benefit a lot from lurking more, but start by taking your measurements and then figuring out what basics will be most adequate for starting your wardrobe. Don't cheap out on your wardrobe staples like your petti, bloomers, shoes, or blouses. If you're an irregular size taobao will be your friend, check the archives for taobao threads to figure out which brands are good for what you need.
>>
>>10670387
Update: Worked out perfect just by showing the picture! I'm never going to a Western hairdresser again. This is probably the first time I've left a hairdresser actually feeling satisfied after getting my bangs cut.
>>
>>10668025
If there's no way in hell you'll fit into brand (way too tall, too large chested, too broad shoulders etc) you would benefit a lot from learning to sew. The basic skirt shape for lolita really isn't that hard to sew. It's all straight lines
>>
>>10671058

So I bought a dress from the UK, and the seller told me the post office would send me an email with a tracking number, but I haven't received anything yet. Does UK post really does that or should I just wait for the package to arrive without expecting a tracking number?
>>
>>10671909
I've never gotten an email from a UK post office with tracking or ANY country's post office for that matter. The seller or PayPal provides tracking. I'd message the seller and ask for it. You can absolutely track international packages although you have to alternate between their country's postal website and yours. The fact they haven't provided it is fishy

You could try to look into antiperspirants like the brand Certain Dri. They used to sell wipes that you would use and then you just don't sweat. But idk about the potential mild chemical reaction or how they'd interact or if that product causes staining the same way antiperspirant stick and gel deodorants do.

You could also buy physical sweat pads to put in the armpit area to absorb the sweat/stop it from pooling in your pits or showing through your shirt.

Men are taller on average than women which is why I mentioned it. There's a good chance a lot of men interested in lolita are simply too tall (despite their lithe figures allowing them to fit) for some brand to fall at an appropriate length on them. I'm a 5'7 woman and a lot of brand is borderline too short on me, while older pieces tend to simply be too short entirely. The average height of an American male is 5'9. This isn't to say they shouldn't wear lolita, but that they may need to search further or sew their own to get an appropriate length skirt. Having your whole thighs out isn't cute
>>
>>10670589
Using stock photos only, unbelievable price, knowing that dress has a lot of replicas around. For example holy lantern, melty cream donut and sugary carnival have a lot of known replicas while a dress like Honey Cake doesn't (afaik). You will know once you get it. Honey cake has replicas on the Chinese market. There were sold on T mall alongside the original pre-order so I’m thinking it was a disreputable manufacturer or something.

Before I find a kimono group to ask I might as well try here.

Does anyone know what decade this might have been made?
It's particularly small (148cm) and a plain but high quality crepe de chine. The lining is hands down the highest quality silk lining I've seen in kimono. It was sold to me simply as antique, and the seller doesn't know enough English to help me out.

you hopefully know that's a 大島紬 atleast. i personally can't id the age but the pattern reads pre ww2 to me from the color but they still make these with traditional methods.
>>
>>10673224
It actually isn't.. The pattern is definitely printed onto a plain-weave crepe. That's why it's kinda confusing. The irregular pattern and layered bleed-through suggest that it may have been applied freehand. Depending on what size bust measurement you need you may want to look at MAM, they have a "large chest" blouse line. Binding doesn't reduce your measurement by much and makes your boobs look weird, not worth it imo. It's good for looking flatter under a loose shirt but not a fitted blouse.

Are there any ways to tone/slim upper arms? Like specific exercises or something?
My other measurements are fine for lolita (84/64) but I have 11in upper arms for some reason.
>>
>>10674199
>>10674217
My calves hold them up. It's based on how you tie it. If you line it up where the velcro is right on your knees, overlapping and tightened into the shortened part of the underside of your knee from calve then it should stay at least for awhile. It works for me. If i sit then it'll loosen and fall but for standing, you just have to have it tightened between that spot.

Otherwise, I'd heard of people using sock glue.
>>
>>10674268

I’m currently 58.5 kg at 171cm, I’ll probably try to get down to 55 and see if it makes a difference
>>
>>10674268
>>10674273 is right and I feel you. I’m pretty thin but my upper arms are kind of chunky compared to the rest of me and I’m pretty self conscious about it. I think it’s called bat wings.

Try doing triceps exercises. From what I’ve read, if there’s more muscle tone at least the fat will distribute nicer. I recently added them on top my regular gym routine. Blogilates has a couple videos that target triceps specifically.
>>
>>10674268
It's worth noting that these 'lunch lady arms' are usually loose skin and not actually fat. The easiest thing to do is build upper arm muscle - it will stop the skin from flattening out when your arms are down (and thus looking wider) but ultimately it won't make them any thinner. It's definitely gotta feel better to have arms that are big from muscle, though.

I’ve tried lots of different indie jp brands and even if it didn’t look good on me, they still felt nice and the tailoring was decent. from what I heard atepie was supposed to be decent but this was just not it. I guess they do have duds though and it’s always good to try things on
>>
>>10674702
NAYRT but in my experience the quality of the fabric and the finishing were both good, their cuts are just hit or miss, more so than some other jp indie perhaps (I mean I'm not sure if I'd call AtePie indie in the first place, this thread is the first place I've ever seen anyone do that)

Same, anon. My upper arms used to be so tiny but after working a physical labor job for many years, combined with hitting my 30's causing an overall gain in bodyfat they've also now reached 11" flexed. I regret it deeply... Should have just gotten an office job.

>>10674361
It looks flabbier down but normally your bicep becomes bigger when flexed, not down, so like I described above building muscle will only make it worse to fit into things. Fat can at least be squeezed down a bit, but there's no forcing muscle into a sleeve cuff.
>>
What type of blouse looks best with bustiers?
>>
>>10674867
High neck with simple bodices, big neckbows or jabots are good too

Would it be a bad idea to wash 2 dresses in the same delicate washing machine cycle? I just got 2 dresses and am wondering if I can make my life easier. They're both poly btw.
>>
>>10674918
Throw them in separate laundry bags and put a color catcher. They'll be fine
>>
How do you guys sell your pieces when they sit on the market for too long? Is my only option price reduction when I have a few nwt pieces that I really don't want to undersell?
>>
>>10674477
Thank you!
>>
Any sites where I can get really cute, fancy crafting patterns (knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, whatever)? Looking for stuff with bears, bows, stars, etc.
>>
>>10674189
>>10674221
anon, the picture probably predates egirl fashion existing, why are you so salty
>>
>>10674934
Post on different platforms? Doesn't always work but for example, there's some pieces I've managed to sell on our comm's FB group that I haven't been able to sell on LM.
>>
>>10674934
If they've been sitting for a long time at their current price, lowering it isn't underselling. You're currently overcharging by the sounds of it.
>>
>>10674972
This isn't necessarily true. If anon paid say $180 for a dress and tried selling for $100 with no bids that wouldn't be overcharging. It just means there isn't high demand. I would wait til the right person found it.
>>
Can I make normal socks lolita by sewing lace to them?
>>
>>10674983
If you been selling it for years and it hasnt budged, the 100 would still be overcharging it. What you paid doesnt matter to the market.
>>
>>10674990
If you're doing a neat job, go for it - people have done that before
>>

damn, I've been assuming that the classic white Usakumya was an albino all this time

Nah senpai Usakumya been through some shit

Any good places to buy mary janes or similar shoes for lolita that go up to US 12? Hard mode no demonia or custom taobao
>>
Super noob question: how do I store and iron pieces with built-in pettis? I'm scared of flattening them too much, even though it'll probably happen eventually
>>
>>10675014
Hang them up? You should never be folding lolita to store. Ideally in an area where light doesn't come in contact and/or the best solution is also putting them in their own bag.. But the last part is for really delicate pieces, or things you never want to get damaged.
>>
>>10675014
Hang them like any other piece, they'll be fine if you shake them out every once and a while. A steamer would be better to iron it with though
>>
Which shopping service and delivery service is good for sending a full collection of magazine or manga you found on mercari/frills ( like a few kilos ) ? I normaly use hoyoyo for clothing items but it may not be fit to buy such heavy items.
>>
I would like to buy some Dear my love pieces especially their dresses or blouses, the quality improved during these years or it's the same cheap crap of years ago when they had himegyaru items? I am really happy with Ank Rouge, Secret Honey, Lodispotto, Axes Femme and Amavel quality (except for some crappy looking items) but I am unsure about dear my love recent items.
>>
>>10675098
You’ll have to do sea shipping for heavy items, most of the ss should be able to do it.i know hoyoyo and buyee do for sure and haven’t used other ones.
It’s all the same thing anyway. you can pay more to have protective packaging or not.
>>
>>10675019
How does folding something damage it?
>>
>>10675011
Regular shoe places like Clarks for really, really basic mary janes. Why would you want to make your life more difficult by excluding the 2 best options you have, though?
>>
>>10675102
I just ordered a dear my love blouse. Waiting on it to get here. A lot of their designs seem pretty lolita/amavel like lately for blouses.. I'm almost tempted to buy another, but I'll need to see how the quality is when it gets here.
>>
>>10674993
I'm the original anon and I've been trying to sell things for about 2 weeks no where near a single year
>>
>>10675019
>>10675037
Noted, thanks anons!
It's a skirt - should I use one of those hangers with the clips at the ends?
>>
stupid question inbound, but can you post cosplay confessions/feels in the confessions or feels threads? or are they only for lolita?
>>
>>10675286
Posting anything on topic in them would be a rarity. Go ahead, anon.
>>
How do you guys organize your closet? Do you have signs/labels for things?
. I’m confusing myself with whether i should organize by color, substyle, or type (jsk/op/skirt etc)
>>
>>10675674
Type then brand then colour for me.
>>
>>10674663
>>10674702
To be honest with you I've always been dubious of the tailoring of a lot of their things even in stock photos. It's only their signature corset dresses and skirts that I've seen look very nice both in person and in photos. I would recommend trying those on the next time you go, if they suit you.

Their chiffon pieces in particular like this one have always looked really cheap or unflattering, same with their blouses with those ugly half shirring backs and boxy torso.

>>10674674
Lol what? Atelier Pierrot is definitely too large of a brand to be called indie anymore, they're probably the largest scale gothic brands left considering how sparse Moitie's releases are. They themselves are a vendor for many actual smaller/indie brands.

>>10675014
>>10675276
Do not flat iron pieces with built-in pettis; as other anon said, get a steamer. If the skirt has hanger loops inside the waistband, then hang it on a normal hanger that has the slots for straps. Otherwise use a pants hanger and fold a piece of soft foam or scrap fabric into the clips where it's gripping the skirt as padding so that the clips don't leave marks.

How long should I expect for the shipping to take from US to Australia?
I had a parcel sent in 14 August, "processed through regional facility" on 31 August, and haven't moved since then.
>>
I'm thinking of promoting a listing of mine on LM, it's a pretty desirable piece that's currently on auction. Is it worth paying $6 for?
>>
How often does Antique beasT open? Twice a year? More? I’m just getting into goth and they have stuff that is my exact taste so I’m getting antsy.
>>
Is the Baby brand filter on Mercari not working for anyone else?
>>
>>10675952
It might get returned to you. Australia isn't taking in mail because of the COVID lock down there. If it doesn't get returned, expect it to take a while to reach the buyer.

>>10676571
Every few months. You just missed the last opening by a month and also it was only open for an hour before it closed. Join their newsletter! You’ll get an email for when it opens.

Best place to get, at least semi-authentic, seifuku?
>>
>>10676921
How long does she take to produce/ship the items?
>>
>>10676955
2 months and could be longer. It’s a one person operation.
so you either need to be very patient or go on lacemarket and hope people are selling
>>
>>10676736
It’s working for me via the buyee website. I don’t use og mercari
