With con season and international shipping starting to return to normal, this hobby might start to see a revival in the West. Its popularity never waned in Japan and there are some new trends going around.Itabag FAQ and Guide:>https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BUQ5ZQoH1A9vCR2OcdvhrWNv6JChsy-5z21rNugX2jc/editBuyf/a/g Guide>buyfag.moeBootlegs are never OK to buy and use, don't be a poorfag. What have you been working on lately? Got anything in the mail?
>>10654714I'll start with a small bag dump.
>>10654716No idea what the context for this character is, but it made me laugh.
>>10654721Repeat bags still seem to be the norm in Japan, but polaroids and these Sanrio name keychains (that I believe you can make at Sanrio Puroland?) are a huge trend.
>>10654725I'm really into the polaroid thing and ordered a few myself.
>>10654728Finally, 痛ネイル are insanely popular. Biggest series right now seem to be JJK and Tokyo Revengers, but still see a lot of Twisted and Hypmic, as well as others. I'll do a small dump and then shut up.
>>10654734End dump. I have more shit saved but I'll wait.
>>10654729>Finally, 痛ネイル are insanely popularI have seen them pop up in my fandom and was wondering if they were the new trend or something.
>>10654795They really are, I've seen all kinds from subtle nods to a character's outfit/theme that's passable for normie wear, to 3D chibi art and manga art and even people straight up glueing acrylic keyholders to their nails (RIP). IMO it's a really cute trend and I'm working on a set for myself.
Some new base bags from WEGO. Looks like muted colors are popular lately, to go with the completely dull look that's now mainstream in Japan.
>>10654911Also, these recently came out. They're quite cute IMO, and look sturdy.https://online.and-chouette.jp/shop/e/eb2103aa1/
>2 posters >big boobed cosplayers is on thread #5 The absolute state of /cgl/
>>10654914i really like this one
>>10654727Love the polaroids, I just get worried about damaging them
>>10655113put them in sleeves.
>>10654717This was a hearty chuckle. I love the fact that they bought the matching broth and soba noodles from FAMILY MART of all places. Godspeed to this creator and their white haired boy.
>>10655113Same. I wonder how people manage with bags full of them - it seems like they just used double-sided tape to attach them and have them in thin, soft sleeves. Dumping my polaroid stash
My motivation to work on an itabag has been pretty null since there's still not many places to show it off, but I did end up making a couple of 3d prints to add them to my shrine.
>>10655178That's awesome anon. I feel you, I am finally rearranging my itabag for Otakon. Did you print them yourself or get a custom job done?
>>10655168Is there a store that sells these kind of sleeves?
>>10655249I've only ever seen them from Animate. Theoretically you could rig them out of a trading card holder by drilling a hole in the top...
>>10655229I had it printed, then cleaned it up and painted it myself!
>>10655178love your dedication to this mystery man anon
>>10655275It's all an attempt to fill the void that not being able to get my holy grail has left me with.(I'm also missing one blind box charm but fuck that one, the charm is 1/12 and they don't sell complete sets)
>>10655249>>10655254I believe CDJapan and GoodsRepublic sell sleeves. I've mostly seen them for badges, but I'm sure they carry something similar to what you need too
Official Sanrio itabag goods. Idk how I feel seeing them used with a character that has nothing to do with it, but I like when they're used tactfully or with Sanrio collab merch.
>>10655323>Idk how I feel seeing them used with a character that has nothing to do with itI see this a bunch in japanese bags lately, still better than a bajillion pin bags and bootleg merch con bags I suppose.
Did anyone post this one already? Seems pretty new and ships international according to their Twitter.https://rearareofficial.stores.jp/
>>10655344This, it's kind of growing on me though. Same with repeat bags, which I didn't use to like.
>>10654717Wow what a great bag for Sobaman and definitely not Gaku Yaotome of Trigger.
mini dump of some bags I've found on Twitter that I liked. Help, why did I start liking repeat bags so much?
>>10655498More of >>10655324 these guys.
>>10655499The fan is so cute
>>10655504The tinsel and lace made me kek, but it seems to be just tacky enough to suit the theme. The fur on the rosette is literal perfection though
Also, new bags from Zakkamart with a Japanese-style fabric.
>>10655506>>10655508I like the concept, but the execution could have been handled better.
>>10655506Lovely, don't think I have any character I'm into to suit this bag sadly.
https://www.instagram.com/rearareofficial/Has anyone ever bought from them? Pic related is perfect for me, but I don’t think I’ve ever come across any pics in the wild of them as base bags.
Itabag thread how I've missed thee... Here's one that I put together recently! He's the cook/baker of the group so I thought the microwave bag would be perfect and I'm pretty happy with it! The bag is super nice quality too, a lot sturdier than I was expecting. I'm going to get some little fake carnations (his flower) to fill the gaps and for the oven on the side I want to stick a tray of miniature food in it, then I'm going to add some lights. Thinking of decorating the outside with maybe some lace so it's reminiscent of whipped cream but I'm not 100% set on what I want to do yet.
>>10654720I LOVE this. The gaudy rosette and the fur trim are perfection.>>10655113You can get toploaders for them: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=607747494711>>10655178Good to see you're still around anon! Loving the shrine you have going on.
>>10655848this is cute anon. Have you considered making deco whip for accents, not directly on the merch or bag itself but on a clear plastic cover especially on the item in the solo rectangle pocket (polaroid maybe?)?
>>10655868shit idea. don't ruin anon's work with your bad taste.
>>10655869Anon said they were seeking to replicate a whipped cream look and taste is subjective. If it looks shit they can just take it out; too many people are afraid of trying ideas and scrapping them because the itabag police might come for them.
>>10655868Thank you! I did also consider putting fake whipped cream on the bag itself lol. I have some deco whip at home and I've also considered buying a whipped cream mould on taobao (so I don't have to pipe it myself...) but I thought it might be too chunky and awkward to put on the bag which is why I'm now considering lace. The polaroid-y thing is only there right now to fill space (he usually lives in my phone case) but seeing this >>10655886 makes me want to decorate it similarly!>>10655869I see where you're coming from because I was also afraid of ruining my bag with shitty execution haha. It definitely is a very tricky thing to pull off.
How do you guys organize your merch for a character when none of it has a set color palette? I’m looking at making my first bag for a ship, but I have no idea what kind of bag to go for or how to organize my pins /charms. It feels like they’re going to clash no matter what track I take.
>>10656181Can we get a look at your merch? For ship bags I usually do half one character half another character or try to have some sort of symmetry by putting merch with similar artwork/poses opposite each other, or buying multiples of the same merch to force symmetry that way. You can also introduce your own colour palette with decorations
>>10656189Sure. I was the JoJo anon from the last thread who was looking for ideas on a Caejose bag. I have a few more buttons coming in for Joseph, so I’m mainly worried about having a disproportionate amount of merch on his side and not enough on Caesar’s to pull off perfect symmetry. As for the base bag, originally I wanted to aim for a green tote or small backpack, but I’m having a hard time finding a bag that looks sturdy and fits my style. It would be a nice bonus if it had a star motif, but so far I haven’t been able to find anything that isn’t one of those really generic star-window bootlegs from Amazon.
>>10656936Have you considered making the main bag Joseph-themed and doing a smaller one for Caesar — maybe even an ita wallet or makeup bag that you could pair with it?
>>10656936Maybe go with the colors that people associate the most with them? You could do blue and green since that's their primary color style's accent color?
>>10655291> they don't sell complete setsFor what reason? Do they hate money or something
>>10657063They're incompetent to the point they had to issue a formal apology because the charms weren't getting shuffled properly and people were getting as much as 4 repeated charms with their purchases, lmao. It's almost sad how the dude himself can manage a perfectly fine online store (with the only problem being that he never orders enough of anything) but the company can't even manage to sell blind box items properly.
>TFW no itabag friends to go out with, take pics together and then cover our faces with LINE stampsI'm close to getting an acrylic stand just to take purikura at the local Round 1 with. Isolation and life stress has made me really fall deep into my comfort characters.
any advise on a large-size pin bag/backpack? Im leaning towards this one from etsy.
>>10654722woah an ita bag for soraru! never thought I'd see an ita bag for an utaite.
Hypmic live was this past weekend so have a mini dump of fandom fashion.
>>10656936Buy some sunflowers anon, It is a cute staple for caejose itabags. Why don't you get a yellow one, it would tend for caesar a lil bit more.
>>10657178Aww anon I hope you can find some friends interested in itabags. Unironically cons are a good place to find some friends interested in the hobby
>>10656936Honestly I think these colours work fine. Pink/blue/green look good together. I also like >>10657540 's idea of using sunflowers. Maybe you could also add some red gem accents to complement the bag charm you have there.I'm liking the layout you already have here so if you're worried about having too much Joseph merch you could pin them on the outside of your bag, like in a separate pouch or on the straps. You could maybe even make straps that look like Caesar's headband and Joseph's scarf. If you're worried about things not complementing each other, another approach you could take is do a 180 and making everything really crazy and colourful (especially since JJBA is known for its wacky colours anyway).>>10657364Goddamn this is nice (scrolls) Goddamn this is nice (scrolls) Goddamn this is n (thanks for the dump anon!)
Diorama bags: post em if you got em
I really want to make a repeat bag but I can't settle on one piece of merch and keep buying a bunch of different stuff. I guess they're not worth the cost unless you're living in Japan...
Do you all wear your itabags out often, or just to related events? I got into it during lockdown but I can't help but feel a little autistic using my bag on a day to day basis.
>>10658472Anytime I've carried a bag in public I've received compliments. Just own it. Looking like a weird autist is literally part of the "ita" name.
>>10658472I sometimes wear them when I'm hanging with friends, but more often than not I'll flip it so the merch is facing inwards lol (I only have shoulder bags, no backpacks).
>tfw you find two of your grails in a $580 lot packed with merch you don’t need and probably won’t be able to sell>the seller isn’t interested in selling them separately >”please understand”I really don’t think I’m a big enough autist to drop that much on two badges, but fuck if I wasn’t tempted. They’re the perfect color for my layout and would be the perfect crown jewels of my bag. Absolute hate how difficult they are to find and that this is the only seller I’ve seen selling them.
>>10658472I generally wear mine out; the whole point for me is to always have my bias with me to some capacity. Sometimes I'll take off the extra bags, like if I'm going to the doctors but yeh.
Thanks for all the advice, guys! >>10656964I have, yeah, but I’d like to try to keep my merch together (barring the extra pieces that will go in my Joseph only bag). But an ita wallet is a great idea, I’d def like to explore that in the future.>>10657031>>10657660>>10657540Also good ideas! I think I’m going to go for white and yellow so I can play up the sunflower motif. I have a great piece of merch on the way that I was thinking of arranging some smaller badges around like flower petals, maybe with a yellow rosette to mimic the flower’s disc. One last question: I didn’t see it in the sticky, but have any anons had any experience with CAWKAY bags like pic related? I was thinking of picking this one up for the Joseph bag I’m working on alongside the Caejose one, but I don’t think I’ve seen any reviews for it in the archive.
Anyone have saved pics of your favorite bag? This is one of my all-time favorites
>>10660672This double-sided bag that I saw in Shanghai two years ago
Thoughts on this idea? I feel like it's a good start, but idk, I feel like it could be fancier...
>>10663163Move the cutout to the left imo, but other than that I'm not really sure what other advice I could give because I'm not a huge fan of repeat bags lol
>>10663163If you've got repeat rubber straps, I would line them along the top of the bag
I finally got to wear my bag to a con and I also got to realize how fucking annoying ant backpack is when you have a long ass wigAny specific reccomendation for decently sized shoulder bag
>>10668252I like zakka-mart's stuff. https://www.zakka-mart.com/
Has anyone ever put a coaster in their bag? I have a neat one I’d like to attach to a rosette and turn into a centerpiece, but I’m not sure what the best way to go about that would be. Also, would using a badge protector suffice, or are there special protectors just for coasters?
>>10672648I’ve put them into a couple of bags, you can pretty easily find protectors for them.
>>10672648The larger can badge protectors are pretty good; I have a thick acrylic coaster I turned into a small rosette for a bag and I just made a backing with a pin for it.
Is a cluttered bag good or bad? I've seen most cluttered bad seen as bad but most of them tend to just bad in general
>>10672648There are specialised coaster covers yes>>10673417I love cluttered bags! Like the type where every single inch of the pin-able area is covered with merch or decorations. I think you still have to take care in making them "neat" though (like having some sort of symmetry, making sure spacing is even, etc)
Wasn't someone making a Ren and Stimpy bag?
> upcoming show will feature my OTP> merchandise features one half with another one of the villains instead, hence continuing the tradition of the other guy's merchandise being impossible to get onlineEvery single announcement I hope that it will be the time I can finally get my hands on merch of Shuraomaru and Tiefedorf together AND IT NEVER IS!
>>10668252This is cute
How to tell my friend they have a shitabag?
>>10675755When I had a friend that did this, I just bought them stuff that would improve it for holidays or their birthday or whatever. Too much blank space? Get them badges or keychains. Ugly base bag, terrible layout, or tacky decorations? Get them a new bag.If their issue is knock off merch, talk to them about why it's better to support the original creators and explain that a bag that's meant to show love for the character/series should support the series. If their taste in characters is shit, I can't help ya there.
>>10675786They have an ugly insert that has nothing to do with the characters/series or even matches the merch, but they're really excited about it...
>>10675796Maybe get them some filler decorations that would cover up the insert a bit? Or if you're out and see some fabric that would go perfectly, make them a new insert? Most people aren't gonna think you did that because you think theirs is ugly, especially if you get things that really match the character.A lot of people are really bad at colour theory and don't understand how merch should pop or look against something in the background. I'd say the insert is the least worrisome part if the rest of the bag looks fine.
>>10673984I wish you luck!
I wanna make an ita bag for Robin Hood from the Fate series, but I have no idea what I should use for the base bag since I'm not a big fan of the colors green or orange (which both happen to be part of his color scheme). Any recommendations?
>>10675932Brown or black?
>>10676014>cut out paper Pikachu>generic Pokéball buttons>foam stars to fill space>all for a character with 8 billion pieces of merch>also clasps left on straps and the bags that don't match the characterRename the pic to ShitabagExample.
>>10676014God whyyy is the (what i can only assume to be) expensive limited merch on the outside here
>>10675932Agree with >>10675961 (I think brown would be best!) If you have a lot of green merch especially (considering that his outfit is green too) getting a green bag would make it too monotonous so getting a colour like brown that would complement it nicely would be a better option. Otherwise, black and white are safe options that would match any character. >>10676014Pet peeve but the exposed lobster clasps kind of annoy me (bags with whole entire keyrings left visible are even worse). Lobster clasps are okay on crowded bags because the other merch helps divert attention from them but on a sparse bag like this they stand out way too much. The most hardware I would have exposed are jump rings. Everything else gets taken off. Putting safety pins through jump rings as opposed to bulkier hardware minimises their visibility too so its a win-win.
>>10675961>>10676450okay, thanks! I'll try looking for a cute brown bag.
>>10657361I don't know shit about this series but I've just become a fan from that image alone.
>found my grail badge earlier this week, then again this morning>it sold out both times before my proxy had a chance to buy it Kill me. Are there any proxy services that run in timezones other than JST?
>>10680414Any reason you can't use a forwarder?
>>10680414Shit, that sucks.
>pay a premium through a twitter proxy to get the new Shanghai cafe exclusive MDZS buttons>they show up on Taobao a few days laterAh well. At least I got my Jin Guangyao and Lan Xichen badges
>>10657235Oh hey I ordered one of these. I don't have an expert's eye, but I can at least give you my perspective for what I was looking for in the bag.Seems like a reasonable con bag to me. I can fit my laptop, cord, and probably a portable (maybe DS, maybe Switch) in it easy enough. Then once I've left those in the hotel room it looks like there's plenty of space for whatever junk I decide to buy. I'm seeing roughly 16 inches depth from the bottom of the bag to the middle of the zipper, but towards the sides of the bag it look more like 14 (maybe 13?) inches. Looks like it's about 11 inches across at the lower points, but it decreases to about 8 or 9 inches near the top. So there's a limit on how big of a print you can fit in here. There is a flap inside the main compartment to help sort things, it's probably a good place to put the bulkier knickknacks you wouldn't want jumbling around with any art you buy. I'm gonna use it to hold a pad of paper and some dice. There's also a layer of padding on the side that'll be against your back, which is nice. I've used some cheap backpacks in the past that don't have that and it's not fun. There's a pouch on each side for a bottle, but they seem kind of tight. I don't know if you're going to fit much more than a standard 20 ounce bottle or a tall can in these, but maybe I'm wrong.Pin compartment's pretty nifty. Two zippers so you can open it however you need and the flap you stick the pins to has access on the left and right sides, so I didn't have to do that awkward reach to try and get something into the far corner. There's also a zipper inside here, but the pouch it opens is extremely small. I've got a pencil in there, might be able to fit another pen or two but not much else. I don't think it has much purpose besides being able to attach something to the tab.The material feels decent, but I can't really know that until I give it a good field test. I don't know about every day use, but it should be fine for cons.
>>10654725I fucking wish
This is taking forever because the postal service is run by morons, but it's getting there.
>>10686395looking good, keep going.
>>10676014that's a reasonable amount of merch if it's like heracross or something, not pikachu wtf are you doing

God I wish I could use this bag for something, the wardrobe design is so cute. https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=642654923273
>>10692988Off the top of my head, maybe Rozen Maiden?
>>10693002I meant more like I wish something I already liked would fit with this bag, I'm not going to get into something new just so I can make an itabag
>>10692988Man I want this but don't have anything for it either.
Hello!New poster here, do any of you guys recognise what this bag is? I've been looking for a simple, but large, clear bag like this for a while but I haven't been able to find anything close to this
>>10692988this would be so cute with some nuis, I'll probably grab one for displaying my pricier ones. thanks, anon
>>10698752Looks like this to me: https://wegoec.jp/shop/g/gWE19AW09-G48120430201/They don't currently have black, though. If you specifically wanted a black bag, Zakka Mart has lots of plain large bags, pic related.
>>10655249Try trading card sleeves and cut a hole in the top for the chain to get out.
>>10658764If you won't b able to find them anywhere else then just buy them. Better to have and regret than to not have and regret.
Anyone got pics of cute Miku bags?
>>10700033Sounds like a bad idea, trading card sleeves are made with very specific measurements in mind so you either won't have any space to cut holes in or if you do you'll have too much space around the card. Just buy covers like >>10655254 (brand is コアデ) or search 卡保护套 on taobao
Thoughts on this draft layout I put together last night? I’m thinking of switching the cafe and small charms on top but I’m pretty happy with how it came out other than that.
>>10701484Looks nice anon! I think it'll be nice whether you swap the charms or not
>>10700620Works well enough for me, the ones you can buy from japan aren't exactly made to your specific keychain's size either.
First time trying to put one of these together(I've edited in the stuff that's not here yet) any crit on this layout would be great. I saw on the guide it said fanmerch was generally frowned upon but these two don't have much matching merch other than buttons/acrylic stands of the same renders from the game, I was wondering how taboo it would be to use mostly fanmerch? Also I was thinking of filling in the dead space with light blue flowers/bows etc, does this sound like it'd work or should I buy more merch instead?
>>10707227>I was wondering how taboo it would be to use mostly fanmerch? It's only really considered 'taboo' if it's like a character with thousands of choices (ie: Osomatsu, bnha, sailor moon, etc) and even then fanmerch bags can look very cute I think. Probably my favorite example is pic for purely fanmerch bags.
>>10707229Right I see, thanks for explaining.
>>10707227I like your idea of filling the space with decorations over getting more merch! Also sorry for the shitty edit I hope you don't mind but this is personally how I would arrange the badges and where I would put some of the extra decorations (basically just spread the badges out a little so they don't make the bottom too "heavy" and take the focus away from the rest of the bag. Having them spread out helps guide the eyes around the bag).
>>10707229how does one attach keychains to the insert without sewing through the loop at the top? Do you attach a pin to the back?
>>10707628I think they hadn’t pin/sewn them in yet in this picture
>>10707617Thank you, I don't mind the edit at all it's a lot of help actually!
>>10707628I use glue dots or adhesive velcro
>>10707669As a precaution, be careful with glue dots or adhesive velcro, sometimes the adhesive can melt and cause the back of charms to get sticky or worse... could peel the print off the charm.
>>10708030Yes this is true! Good point to raise for those who are looking into using these for the first time. For velcro I only use it for charms where the print is sealed (such as double epoxy charms) or on badges, and for glue dots I have used one on a charm on its unsealed print and it came off fine but as a precaution I only put it on the very edge and on as little of the print as possible. A lot of my merch tends to overlap so sometimes I'll put the glue dot on the top surface of a charm and stick it to the underside of a badge to keep it in place (pic related). You can also seal the print with a good nail polish topcoat but just a word of warning, sometimes the polish can dissolve the print so be very careful (I've had more charms be fine than not but I DID damage one even though I used the same polish for the ones that didn't dissolve. Luckily it's not too noticeable). If you don't want to use adhesives or sew through the loop at the top you can also just put a jump ring through it and then pin the jump ring onto your insert from the back with a safety pin. Easy, reusable, and looks clean.
>>10708030I haven't had that problem glue dots but I've had it with double sided sticky tape, it didn't stick to the bag and melted onto the charm so it was doubly crap. I'd never use adhesives on charms that don't have acrylic on the back though, a tip for that though, if use a charm guard or a trading card sleeve etc to put it in then put the adhesive on the guard.
I’ve got mostly all I want/need for a toyko mewmew itabag. Looking for a strawberry base still but might just get a red crossbody. My question is that a good chunk of my merch are pins from the original release in 2003. Should I use them or is it gonna be too cumbersome to use on an itabag? Any tips?
>>10708672I'd say ins are probably the best things for an ita bag because you don't need to get anything else to secure them down. Depending on how big your bag is it might be a little heavy if they're enamel pins so I'd just make sure the insert/fabric can handle that.
Does Cotton Candy Feet restock bags regularly, or at all? This bag is a perfect fit for what I need but seems like it was a preorder that sold out.
Happy holidays! I finally got my wangji merch after waiting all damn year. This is baby’s first attempt at an ita bag, inspired by a lot of posters here. He’s a WIP but I am proud.
>>10708672I've got this same set that I made an itabag with, and the weight of them is no problem at all
>>10711773Consider making the insert something other than white, the amount of white in the merch makes it blend and it will give the illusions of filing the empty spaces.
>>10711881Thanks, will do!
>>10711773Cute! I love the little plush. I also like how you tried to fill some of the space with the flowers too, they're very pretty. Agree with other anon's suggestion of making the insert not white (I would suggest something like polka dots). Only other critique I have is that the arrangement is a little messy but that can be easily fixed. It's shaping up to be a great bag!
>>10711773Similar to other anon suggestions...An option for inserts? light blue bunny-themed fabric in the nursery fabric section, or maybe even during Easter!
So much fanmerch is honestly better than official merch . I prefer bags with fanmerch. They seem more unique.
Just realized I never posted my most recent MDZS bags here!
I'll probably rework both of them later since I got more merch in the meantime
>>10714289They're so cute anon, where did you get the button protectors?
>>10714670Thank you! I got the button protectors from Taobao, I think from one of the links in the FAQ?
>>10710740In case anyone else is curious about this, I ended up emailing them and they said they'll have another round of preorders alongside new bag designs between March and May.
>>10654912>>10710740Any more designer base bags like this? I'm in the market for something sturdy but classy, and I'm not crazy about Wego and Zakka's selection.

>>10655166>>10654728many of these people craft like old ladies
>>10654803Very weird composition for Onomichio, and the clearcoat/adhesive(?) all over her cuticles pains me.
>>10717321it's cuticle oil. very normal to apply some post manicure.
>>10717355I'm sorry for offending you, manicurefag. Whether the cuticle oil is common or not, it looks awful in a photo. The globs and strings of adhesive make the whole thing look sloppy.
>>10655510>https://rearareofficial.stores.jp/interesting idea but I agree anon, there are too many colours on the print. A single colour with different shades/patterns would have worked really well. (e.g. the yellow/white pattern they used in this image at the top/bottom)
>>10672648Animate and some other stores sold coaster covers with a hole at the top for ballchain. If you search amazon JP i think youll find some with コースター カバー or something. >source: I have someCan take some photos if you want to see how it looks, Im on PC which is why I didnt attach any
>>10676014if im not wrong it could be a kids itabag? the lack of merch might just be because kids dont have pocket money to buy stuff for bags. Not sure why anon would post it as an example though?
>>10718374no one asked anything about it you retard.
>>10716869Isn't this wego? https://wegoec.jp/shop/goods/search.aspx?search=x&brand=1&gender=02&genre=5904
>>10718402I mean people were dumping on it so I just thought its possibly a kids one. No need to get ants in your pants anon.
>>10718681Yea but i could not find this specific small bag
My ichimatsu matsuno bag
>>10719074Take off the chains and hang them directly by the hook, it will look a lot better.
>>10719074You should get a back board
How do you go about choosing a character to focus a bag on if you have more than one favorite from a series? I've been wanting to try my first bag for a few years now, but the series I want to make one for has 20+ characters and choosing just one is impossible, and I don't think I can fit merch of everyone on a bag without getting an impractically huge one. I don't really want multiple bags either, so I never make one because I can't choose.
>>10719843An itabag is meant to dedicate your love to one character or pairing. If you don't have one you love above the rest, then you probably don't like them enough to make a bag for them.
>>10719850Arent there bags dedicated to whole show/group of charatersSeen ones like that but they tend to be hit or miss
any anons planning on making any bags? this hobby seems kinda dead (in the west at least) but i still really love it. i'm planning on making a bag for some luxiem members from nijisanji.
>>10720940I'm kind of working on something! I'm waiting for the Cotton Candy Feet bag I posted earlier in the thread to restock and I'm gonna stuff it full of Hayasaka Mirei manjuu+plush. Other than that I was considering maybe a Houshou Marine bag but not sure if I want to commit to it yet. I miss ita bag meets honestly. I'm hoping cons coming back will rekindle some of the community, there are just way less opportunities to show off bags lately and although I love using them in daily life too I imagine it's sucking out some of the motivation for people. Are you looking for the new years Luxiem can badges, btw? I bought the full set for a couple of the girls+Mysta but I'd be willing to part with the rest.
