I assume happy garland will be released in japan during granba? So what, a month or two before USA release?
>>
>>10644051
Sort of related - I wonder what AP Paris will release the week Japan gets Happy Garland. Maybe they just won't have a release that week?
>>
>>10644053
I'm really curious to see if they'll get a small amount of stock or if they'll only get any other items that are released with it.
>>
The banner for Candy Fairy is up. Looks like it’s just the OP and headbow in sax, white and black.

Not my style but I’m excited for those that were waiting for it!
>>
>>10644055
OP only, and its huge sizing. I cry.
>>
>>10644056
That's disappointing. It also doesn't look so nice with the changes
>>
>>10644056
Wow they really fucked us.
Still going to get it, but it rips my heart open we waited so fucking long for no JSK.

Also
>Outer material: Burbury (65% polyester, 35% cotton)
They couldn't even give us cotton.
>>
Also Cherry Stamp and Little Bunny Strawberry mto slipping under the radar.
>>
I'm guessing Nakayoshi Bunny will be OP only then too. I hope the fabric doesn't look as cheap as Candy Fairy
>>
>>10644061
Would trade a million Cherry Stamps and LBS for Candy Fairy in the JSK cut. AP is fucking stupid.

No, Nakayoshi Bunny will be a JSK cut. The image they used to advertise was a JSK. The Anfelic Prophet said it might only come in sax x Pink though.
>>
>>10644066
Ah sorry yes I meant whatever cut and colorway was shown

>Bust: Approximately 90-105cm
>Waist switching position: Approximately 72-90cm
The lowest bust and waist measurement are each about 3 inches (~7.5 cm) bigger than my own bust and waist. Am I going to look terrible wearing it? Or is that close enough to just make it smaller with the corset ribbon?

>>10644072
Not offering the JSK sucks because of how large the OP is. Aren't Japanese girls going to be swimming in it?

>>10644056
I also just noticed there's no pink x pink colorway. I guess they thought no one cared..?

Honestly I like the revamped headbow though. The old one was kind of bonkers.
>>
>>10644056
It's like Honey Cake all over again with one cut and not all the colors.
>>
>>10644075
>one cut and not all the colors
It pisses me off that AP has done so many impromptu MTOs this year (including adding LBS and Cherry Tramp just now), but they can't release the Candy Fairy JSK..? Why? It's easier to design and produce than the OP. AP knows JSKs are more popular too. Way to butcher an extremely popular series that was hyped during the tea party and we all waited months for.

And yet I'm going to get two colorways and be a sad frilly tent, because I would bet money that the original JSKs are going to be even harder to find.
>>
>>10644061
Thanks for the heads up. Gonna get the mint colour of cherry stamp.
>>
>>10644061
Kicking myself for buying from scalpers, but I guess there's no way I could have known
>>
>>10644082
It's very unlike AP to recognize that a series was popular and do something about it.
>>
>>10644056
I'm very sad that there's no pink colorway... I was really looking forward to it
>>
>>10644083
this seems like a new advent for semi-popular series, but AP has still been holding back on their most popular series to keep things "exclusive." Moco Moco Bunnies/JCT/ICP never got a MTO, and I would think those would be worthy.

Random theory:
What if AP makes the JSK cut in secret and saves it for special events, like the TDB headbow? (TDB had an MTO and the headbow randomly emerged without warning, after the fact).
I will hate AP for the rest of my life.
>>
All these womanlets tears ITT are delightful.
If you would have drank your soup, like mommy told you, you wouldn't feel excluded from your favourite brand releases.
>>
>>10644066
Can't wait to see how it's gonna go with Nakayoshi bunny.
>>
>>10644089
Funnily enough, they sorta did, but nobody was paying attention.
>>
>>10644107
Nta but how so?
I really want to know if they dropped hints.
>>
I don't understand how they can do fullass MTOs for LBS and CS and just fuck us over with 3/4 colorways of CF and 1 cut, after the hype for months. I wonder if Japanese & Chinese lolitas will complain.. I hope they do, might be our only shot of getting the JSK

>>
>>10644059
We knew about the changes from the beginning and even saw samples.
>>
>>10644059
The sad part is, the redesign still looks better than 99.9% of everything AP has released in the past 3 years
>>
>>10644108
My memory might be tricking me, but either the slides shown at the tea party or the text the designers were reading mentioned the Candy Fairy OP and it felt a little weird to me. I mean, why mention the OP specifically when introducing an upcoming MTO? I wonder if someone here could share screenshots of the slides or an audio recording of the tea party.
>>
>>10644114
It looks worse than their preview pics. Also they never said they'd make huge sizing
>>
>>10644117
To me it was obvious that Risa and even RinRin are swimming in it.
>>
>>10644074
>Or is that close enough to just make it smaller with the corset ribbon?
The back panel might end up looking bulky if you lace it too tightly. I would recommend taking in the back panel for a better fit. You could also tighten the shirring by removing parts of the elastic, but it’s not as easy and I don’t see any back shirring on the stock photos despite it being mentioned in the description. Could it be that just the waist part is shirred? Or did they not want to bother adding proper shirring to a sample dress?
>>
All this news and we still get a release.
>>
>>10644081

So the prophecy is true. I guess this means no Nakayoshi Bunny OP in red for me.
>>
>>10644066
Thank god I want the sax and pink JSK but it would really suck if they'd only release it in one color and one cut.

SC came in OP and JSK in 4 colors, don't understand why they couldn't do that for these two MTO's. Is there not enough hype for NB and CF to justify a full rerelease?
>>
>>10644158
>Is there not enough hype for NB and CF to justify a full rerelease?
Could be a factory capacity issue. Sugary Carnival is a print, so it’s likely being produced at a different location. AP solids normally come in smaller batches. That’s part of the reason why dresses like Dreaming Fantasic Balloon and Triple Gingham sell out so quickly. Yes, they are popular, but the quantity is way more limited than JCT or LBS or any other popular print. This makes me think AP orders their solids from smaller factories which wouldn’t be able to handle a huge MTO with many cuts and colours.
>>
>>10644086
Literally looks like tissue paper
>>
>>10644145
It’s cool we got them this time. I already got the black jsk and kinda wrote off the mint because it was a store limited.
Probably gonna go for the OP + accessories in mint. I really like this series so don’t mind getting multiples.

There's 5 rows of shirring, like the original. Apologies for the deep fried image. It was the only way I could see the shirring.

Paris changed the timer to 5 minutes.
>>
>>10644242
Success!! I almost checked out the color I wanted like 5 times, but it fucked up on the pay screen with the token two times. I wish I could just have gotten that damn color. They should have changed it before the event. :(
>>
>>10644252
Agreed. I guess it helps now for the future, but it's too late to fix how badly the anniversary fair went.
>>
Stupid question related to AP Paris:
Can you add more than one points voucher to your cart? I keep forgetting to hit "OK" and so it doesn't get applied. I'm hoping I can use two vouchers next time on the same order?
>>
>>10644255
Ask the customer service?
>>
>>10644255
Try it with an item and just don't go through with checkout?
>>
Did Dream Cat Go Round Cutsew OP sell out during the Paris Anniversary Fair? I remember them having almost untouched stock, and then it somehow disappeared from the website.
>>
>>10644308
Same with the ICP skirt sets which definitely didn’t sell out in the red/blue at least. I get the impression they received samples to display at the anniversary fair, then AP JP allotted them x amount of each and would ship over whatever was actually ordered. The Toy Fantasy stuff seemed to be ready to ship though, maybe the TDB items too. If any Frenchs anons attended they could confirm/deny
>>
>>10644324
They also removed Little House OP, and I'm pretty sure it was still in stock in several colours a day or two ago. I wanted to buy it together with some items from this week's release.
>>
>>10644338
Oh that’s a shame, I love that OP too but it just wasn’t a high priority for me right now compared to other releases. Was hoping it would still be there by the end of July! I guess they thought they’d be better off holding them back for the JP/China market because the western comm is understandably averse to anything too folksy or Americana-adjacent lmao
>>
>>10644277
All my other points are pending right now, so I only have one active voucher. I'll try it when I can convert the new points though.
>>
>>10644061
Does anyone own cherry stamp? What's the quality like?
I'm waffling between the mint jsk of cherry stamp and the yellow jsk of LBS. I like that LBS is cotton but the retro aesthetic of cherry stamp suits my style more.

What is the quality of AP ribbon like these days?

Asking from the POV of someone who hasn't bought an AP dress or blouse post-2016-ish.

The picture of the Lace Up blouse looks like actual craft store ribbon, and I'm scared because I went out on a limb and bought it. I'm already fumbling around and looking up places to buy better quality ribbon if I need to replace it.

I'm used to the super soft, flowy ribbons that AP used for corset lacing. Are the new ribbons stiff and bad quality, or is it just a bad picture?
>>
>>10644485
My most AP piece was Antoinette Decoration so my info might be outdated. But AP's poly satin ribbon looks and feels nicer in person. It's basically the same stuff that Baby uses.
>>
>>10644488
I went back and looked at some of my MTOs delivered last year, and the ribbon still feels good quality. Hopefully it is just the picture!
>>
>>10644483
My black jsk should arrive tomorrow. It has the grosgrain fabric which is the same as Neon Star Diner and Fancy Candy I think. It’s thick and holds shape well, but still has a bit of that plasticky poly feel. Still I like it more than the thin viyella or w/e it’s called. I can report back after my jsk hopefully arrives tomorrow.
>>
>>10644498
Thank you! I have the neon star diner jsk too and while the fabric grows on me after a while it's a bit too plasticky for my liking. I'll look forward to your review.
>>
>>10644485
Anon look at how it drapes. It's not low quality, it's fairly easy to buy nice satin ribbon in Japan.
>>
>>10644324

I bought the last ICP skirt in pink and that shipped already along with the mint one, so I think they had all their stock on-hand for those.
>>
>>10644324
Only HG was on pre-order, the other items were ready stock, you can see them -the dresses- on their instagram reels
>>
>>10644483
I'm not one of the anons who hate anything polyester, but it really has a plastic-y feel to it. I only own cotton or chiffon pieces von AP otherwise so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it's very thick and otherwise nice quality...the cherry lace is adorable! But I'm not sure how to feel about the fabric yet...it is definitely kinda weird. I love the design though and since it's a more casual dress it's fine I guess.
>>
Candy Fairy coord pics are hard to find, does anybody have any?
>>
I got the blouse, only thing I cared about. I'm surprised there's this hard of a blood bath, considering the MTO.
>>
>>10644721
Did the US site crash or was everything just sold quickly? I wasn't awake to watch.
People are either dumb and don't know the MTO exists, or aren't counting on AP US to get the MTO.
>>
>>10644721
I think it just sold out quickly. I got the what I wanted easily, but I only went for 1 item this time

>>10644727
Since Paris isn't getting the MTO, it's unlikely USA would get it instead.
>>
>>10644727
It was fairly slow but sold out instantly The site hasn't crashed in a few releases, I think they upgraded their servers.
>>
>>10644739
I don't think anyone can say for sure that Paris isn't getting the MTO? The Harajuku store gets an advance reservation. Japan's online store starts the reservation on July 17th. That would be when Paris would get the MTO too.

>>
>>10644909
Yeah but it comes out in February and I'm impatient as hell lmao.
Probably going to get the MTO.
>>
>>10644501
I got my jsk and it’s the same fabric as Neon Star Diner, so if you have it you’ll know what to expect. Other than that >>10644607 is pretty accurate to how I feel. I’m a little worried the belt might peel eventually, but I haven’t had that issue with the drained cherry belt, and I think it’s the same stuff. I wear that dress sparingly though. Oh, and for the KC I like that the bow isn’t tacked on to the headband so there’s the option of wearing just a headband. Overall I’m happy with it.

I got the blouse too, though and it’s huge. The shoulder measurement is the same as my other blouses but the body is definitely wider, even than my chiffon ones. My Milkshake blouses are the same though so maybe all new blouses are like this. I don’t understand why they make them like this.
>>
>>10645089
Neon star diner feels like a straight up table cloth. I love the design and the cut is really nice on me, but the fabric choice drives me nuts. I’m pretty sure it’s borderline waterproof.
>>
>>10645089
The material used for the belt will be fine and won't peel. I'm more concerned about it getting permanent creases and folds from being used.

>>10645151
This material seems to be AP's favorite for new releases. It's not as flowy as neo Honey Cake, it's too stiff and plastic-y. JCT, Galaxy Cocktail and Cherry Stamp would be better if they ditched using such a heavy material.
>>
I'm seeing a lot of people jump ship on the Candy Fairy MTO (I find it almost comical because AP made the size larger and even plus size girls are saying they want the JSK instead. They realize the JSK would have smaller measurements... right?). I agree in general it's a huge disappointment (redesign, materials, etc) but what are the chances everyone catches severe FOMO once the MTO reservations close?

I'm going to spend around $1k because I know I'd kick myself if I didn't take the chance (even if AP releases the JSK later, I'd still buy that too). After passing up a ton of Candy Fairys in bad condition, I kind of give up waiting and the OP will at least scratch my itch. I know it's a drop in the bucket, but I also want to monetarily support AP doing these MTOs of old solids/prints. It sucks that less orders will be placed because everyone prefers the JSK (myself included) and AP will have no motivation to even think about doing a JSK MTO later.

I'm just curious what everyone thinks. Are you getting the MTO? Do you think people will regret sitting out? Is the redesign really that much more terrible than modern AP?
>>
>>10645316
I think the lack of a pink colorway is worse than the lack of a JSK cut. And if this situation also means Nakayoshi Bunny might only come in one colorway when lots of people want it in red orncolors besides sax x pink, it spells bad news for the NB MTO as well.
>>
>>10645181
>neo Honey Cake
Neo Honey Cake fabric is awful to me. Not as bad as taobao but it felt like a trash bag and I couldn't keep mine.

I wish AP would just do thin cottons for summer dresses like Cotton Candy Shop or original Honey Cake and similar dresses.
>>
>>10645316
I'll be getting the white OP. I wanted the pink and felt dead inside when I clicked the banner and saw it wasn't there. I can live with the white as I've been wanting more white x pink dresses anyway, and I'd feel sad if I completely skipped out since I really do like all the candy and heart tulle on it. I also want to support this MTO to encourage AP to do more rereleases for solids.
>>
>>10645316
I think even plus size westerners may want tge jsk so they can adjust the straps for tall height. maybe there will still be decent demand in Japan?
>>
>>10644056
Should have done a meta and made a normal and fatty size

GOOD GOD, new captcha sucks
>>
>>10645181
I really prefer the heavy material over the thin one (viyella) because I like sturdy dresses that hold their shape. Flowy does not equal better. I agree it feels a little like a windbreaker though.
>>
>>10645316
I'm disappointed as well, but I do feel like I'll regret not getting anything at all. I'm trying to decide on a color - I'm leaning towards black but white is my second choice. The sax seems too muted vs the original..
>>
>>10645316
I like the op better, but with the massive sizing it’s just going to look super baggy on me
>>
>>10645316
For me, I don't like OPs in general. I'd rather wash a blouse than an entire dress after wearing it. But I do think I'll get fomo if I don't get this release at all. It's hard to find this dress let alone in good condition and the bigger size will fit my huge shoulders better. I'm worried AP will think if the Candy Fairy OP rerelease goes well, they won't bother with the JSK or will release only the OP of other old dresses going forward.
>>
>>10645457
I never once said flowy was better. I was trying to give a comparison to the stiffer polyester dresses like Galaxy Cocktail.
>>
>>10645316
I was pretty dead set on getting one, but not anymore seeing how big the measurements are. I don't need it enough to go through the trouble of altering it, it's so far from my measurements tightening the lacing won't even do it...
>>
>>10645653
>I'm worried AP will think if the Candy Fairy OP rerelease goes well, they won't bother with the JSK or will release only the OP of other old dresses going forward.
Honestly I can see it going both ways - if the OP MTO doesn't go well, they won't pursue a JSK release. If the OP MTO does go well, they'll be satisfied and won't release the JSK. It's hard to know what AP is thinking, seeing as how they make such questionable choices in the first place.

The only thing that can save us is if Japanese and Chinese lolitas complain about the lack of JSK/pink color.
>>
>>10645653
I wear plain white camisoles under OPs, just to give them a little better protection from body oil.
>>
>>10645718
I like this idea anon! Does the camisole slide around throughout the day or add extra thickness around the waist and bust area?
>>
>>10645743
Nayrt but if you're worried about the thickness of a fucking camisole you're too fat for the dress already.
>>
>>10645743
nta but I do the same thing and it never adds any noticeable bulk for me. Would highly recommend uniqlo's airism undershirts, they keep everything nice and fresh.
>>
>>10645744
Dial back on the salt anon. I prefer a slightly loose fit than a tighter one because of sensory issues.

>>10645745
I heard good things about Airism so I'll look into it thanks!
>>
>>10645653
I wear something called a "Thompson tee" under my OPs. You can get it on Amazon. It's designed to prevent sweat stains. You can also just wear a camisole or any thin undershirt.
>>
>>10645747
>because of sensory issues
nta but I honestly wonder how people wear lolita if they have sensory disorders. Because after the petticoat, headbow, shoes, possible wig, etc, a tissue-paper thin piece of fabric (aka a camisole) is the least of your worries.
>>
>>10645771
Like I said, looser fitting garments are fine. I don't have sensory issues with my entire body, it's mainly my face chest and neck. Masks and blouses that are too snug feel bad.

Agreed that it's getting worse, but that's just the state of AP. And honestly I'm glad that it all sucks. It alleviates any stress of trying to get an SS to buy super limited items that are under-produced.

I though maybe I wanted to see the TDB headbow for the event. but I'm happy I don't. It would just piss me off yet again that they are making it ~exclusive~ for no good reason.

Go to the online shop and lookup Cherry Stamp series. The sneakers will be in one of the pictures. I don’t remember if Risa is wearing them with the OP or JSK.

Hard agree. I think it scratches an itch for a vocal minority who coveted it many years ago and couldn’t obtain it, or are just SUPER into that particular style of kitschy sweet solids. Gonna be a lot of remorse sales once they start shipping out and the hype has faded

Big saaaame about twinkle muse. I basically want it at secondhand prices if they can't figure out what their customer base wants instead of thinking people are going to change their mind about a dress they hate.
>>
>>10646298
ngl candy fairy just looks like the idol shit DI puts out all the time
>>
>>10646298
Modern AP is much worse.

I'd take 100 redesigns of Candy Fairy before buying the shit they've released in the past 3 years.
>>
>>10646347
Probably why they re-released it. Japanese lolitas are buying DI shit all the time. I see so much of that crap on their second hand market in Japan, now.
>>
>>10646378
I see a lot of that stuff on mercari / fril, but most of it is listed by Chinese resellers.
>>
I know I'm likely alone in this but I would love a re release of Milkshake. I was surprised that the lavender version didn't make Grand Bazar.
>>
>>10646463
I'm with you, anon. I fucking love Milkshake and I want it in lavender so damn bad.
>>
>>10646319
I pray this happens, especially the black/pink colorway. I've been obsessed with this dress since its release and the desire intensifies every time I look at it.
>>
>>10646319
Dream Doll has the same hard tulle that was replaced in the Candy Fairy redesign. So I'm sure if they rereleased it, it would be difficult from the original too.
>>
>>10646566
NTA but if it had small changes like Candy Fairy I would still buy a rerelease.

Me too. I'm looking for the solid black skirt that wasn't rereleased.

What are you guys on? We don't have release details for this week.
>>
>>10647360
AP Paris rarely does releases these days, they mostly hold reservations for stock that's going to arrive later.
>>
>>10647446
Nta and stupid question, but does AP USA actually have the items in stock now when they do releases or is it also just a reservation, like Paris?

I haven't ordered from the US site in awhile, but they are a solid month behind doing releases, so it would suck pretty hard ordering from them and waiting 3 more weeks.
>>
>>10647487
Depends. If it’s a new release, then you’ll have to wait for the usa store to receive it. Otherwise they sell inventory from the store
>>
>>10647501
>new release
Sorry, yeah that's what I meant.
Like for instance, have orders for Cherry Stamp from the US store already shipped, or is it just a reservation and peopleare still waiting?
I think the last time I placed an order was JCT and releases have fallen even more behind now, so I was curious.
>>
>>10647487
AP Paris takes reservations for stock, and gets it from Japan. Then they mail it out once it's arrived.

AP USA is given stock from Japan, and then sells it. They normally have the stock on-hand. What you see online is what's in the store.
>>
>>10647487 >>10647501 >>10647518 >>10647555

I usually go into the physical store to buy things I see that I want online, because I'm close enough that transportation is cheaper then shipping. I find the online stock matches the store, or the store has more there then what's on the site.
AP USA also shares it's retail space with Harajuku Hearts, whom carry and take pre-orders for Q-pot, Emily Temple Cute, Enchantlic Enchantilly, Atelier Pierrot, Royal Princess Alice and Imai Kira... So Even if I don't see extra stuff from AP, there's usually something from one of the other brands that peaks my interest.

They’re cute
>>
>>10647662
Yea i know what you mean. I was hoping for a little more bulky retro style sneakers like Liz Lisa currently has
>>
>>10647655
They are not. They literally took a normal sneaker and changed the color, slapped on a heart and called it a day.
Where's the scallops? They have literally two heart eyelets. I'm really disappointed that this is the sneaker design they chose to release after so many years.
>>
>>10647655
It's a shame their shoes often stop at 24.5cm
>>
>>10647638
I honestly don't know what I want from this release. There's a few items I'm interested in, but nothing is quite perfect..?

Meanwhile, will Paris combine our orders from thier anniversary fair and this release, if we ordered things from Happy Garland? (I ordered the OTKs last time and am considering getting another accessory this time and Paris usually combines shipping for items in the same "release." Just not sure if this counts.)
>>
>>10647671
I would think they would, but you’re best bet is to email them.
>>
>>10647671
You’re not planning to get the happy garland dress? I’m also curious if they will combine it and if they just get the HG stuff all together with today’s release. Gonna take a few more weeks then that would be a bummer.
>>10647669
I wish they would restock their fucking shoes though even the tea partys
>>
>>10647655
This is pathetic, you can DIY something cuter with regular sparkly sneakers you can find in fucking TJ Maxx
>>
>>10647671
I like the garland brooch, but no joke it would be so easily to replicate with like a $20 Michael's run even for someone not particularly crafty.
>>
>>10647673
>You’re not planning to get the happy garland dress?
Nope. It's a real shame that it wasn't cotton and a better JSK cut. I think it's the best print since Toy Doll Box, but I just have no love for prints on polyester. I refuse to buy them.

>>10647672
Yeah I'm thinking they probably will? During the anniversary fair, they said items would arrive sometime in July, so that kind of lines up with maybe them getting the stock in another two weeks and then shipping it. At least I hope. Fingers crossed.
>>
>>10647676
Yeah odds are they would ship together, I have my fingers crossed for you anon.
>>
>>10647675
>I like the garland brooch
I like it too, but it seems so big and bulky. I think it would have been cuter if it was more of a "mini" garland.

I guess I like the blouse too, but they're using that hole-y lace again that semi triggers me. The bunny ears are cute, but I have all the colors of the very similar release in 2020. And the star clip is nice, but, I don't really need it in my life.
>>
>>10647678
Eyelet lace. If you're gonna be triggered randomly by something, at least know the proper name for it.
>>
>>10647678
>>10647679
I don’t get it anon why are you triggered? I try to get it i guess but the cut is a bit weird. I’d prefer a different collar, like a round collar

>>
The brooch is 60 cm long?? How is this supposed to be worn. I can only imagine maybe like have it hanging around the hip on one side (if that makes sense)
>>
>>10647702
If worn with the brooches 12cm apart the garland would look like an exact half circle, which would be a little awkward. So if you wear the brooches further apart, i.e. ~30cm so on on both your JSK straps you'd get an elongated half circle like shown in the pic. If you straigten out the brooch and lay it flat against a ruler, you'd measure 60cm, but a curved garland is way cuter than a straight line.
>>
>>10647702
>>10647704
If you click on the image, you can see more stock photos. It is indeed huge and that's why I wish it was more of a "mini" garland.

What do you think were the best releases this year so far? My ranking:
1. Jelly Candy Toys
2. Happy Garland
3. Strawberry Bunny
1. & 2. giving me 80s vibes which I love, I liked Moco Moco bunnys as well though
>>
>>10647789
1. Little Bunny Strawberry
2. Moco Moco Bunnys
3. Cherry Stamp
Would be interested to read other anons rankings too! Guess I'm just biased for bunny prints. I like Happy Garland print a lot but the cut/design of the dresses is just too busy for me.
>>
1. Happy Garland
2. Moco Moco Bunny
3. JCT
I honestly was more of a fan of Ribbon Berry Bunny which is what Strawberry Bunny reminds me of, sb is still a cute/nice print but already having rbb I just snagged accessories from the sb release. Happy Garland is honestly all my dreams come true. I am head over heels for it.
>>
>>10647737
No, I also was excited to see sneakers, but hugely disappointed by their lack of detail. Now it's more obvious with better pictures.
>>
How did the release go, VIPs?

I'm surprised Paris is selling more of the OPs, JSKs, OTKs. I regret sitting through the anniversary bloodbath.
>>
wow remember when the Paris website didn't crash every release?
>>
>>10647811
Not VIP but I think I got a pair of sneakers.
There was a long loading screen after I completed Paypal payment and it took a little while for the confirmation email so crossing my fingers it doesn't get cancelled.
>>
Got everything i wanted. Really chill bloodbath today
>>
>>10647822
Apparently I suck because by the time I clicked on the blouse, there was only 1 left of each. Didn't get the color I wanted. Did anyone see how many blouses of each colorway Paris got for this release?
>>
Got the jsk easy, but not the headbow?? Probably would've been easy if the site didn't crash like a hundred times
>>
i spent the last 20 mins trying to add an accessory to cart... kept getting errors. it means it's sitting in someone else's cart while they check out right?
>>
>>10647825

>>
>>10647828

>>
>>10647822
Are you a LARPer or did you only want, like, the sneakers in black or something?
>>
[VIP here]
Got the yellow JSK + matching headbow at the anniversary fair a 2 weeks ago, so I set my mind on a few accessories.

Thought of buying the cute garland brooch, but not for that stupid price.

This time I managed to get the sneakers I wanted and a pair of socks.

The VIP release went really smoothly, with no lag or crash, but the general release was a bloodbath. Not as big as for Jelly Candy Toys, but still irritating with all lags and 502 errors.
>>
>>10647830
Yeah, I don't know what that anon bought, but it was probably the easiest item. I'm guessing maybe the OP/JSK/OTKs because those were already released on Paris and seemed to go slower than normal.

>>10647829
Sad feel. I only wanted pink and spent 15 minutes taunting myself trying to add it to cart, knowing I wasn't going to get it. The Lace Up blouse from last release had about 7 of each colorway (minimum 5). I really doubt that many people checked out in under a minute (the time I got to the listing page), so all I can think is that Paris didn't get that many?
>>
>>10647834
I wanted the garland brooch and got it in my cart, but even with the extended cart timer, all the crashing made it disappear before I was able to check out. JP release here I come.
>>
>>10647830
>>10647833
Okey nonnies idk what you did but I got the yellow blouse. I got a few 502s but got my confirmation mail at 6:40 pm
>>
>>10647828
>it means it's sitting in someone else's cart while they check out right?
Yep. It's infuriating. I like the true bloodbath style more, where whoever pays first gets the item. I rather rip off the bandaid then sit for who knows how long and get nothing.
It was already proven that the cart reservation system doesn't even prevent Paris from overselling and cancelling orders too, so it's just stupid.
>>
It seems they had 1 main piece per colour, 10 Ice Cream Parlor OTKs per colour, 1 blouse per colour and 4 bunny ear headbows per colour.
>>
>>10647842
Curious - what time did you actually check out?
>>
>>10647845

>>
>>10647821

same here, on my first order I never even moved off Paypal to the confirmation screen (but got a confirmation email and the order is in my history).

second order had a long wait before the confirmation screen came up.

I've been cancelled on before, hoping these aren't cancelled...

>>10647858

I find it weird the Happy Garland OTKs sold out already. They must have had very few this time.

I bought 1 of each colorway hours after the Anniversary Fair launched, but maybe most people had given up by then...
>>
>>10647865
Same. I was the anon who rage bought three pairs of OTKs because I failed getting the TDB headbow. The OTKs seemed a lot more popular this time.

Happy garland has been bothering me, because the print looks made for a purple backdrop..

Excuse my shitty photoshop, but I think the print is literally made for purple with all the yellow accents.

I wonder if I should hold out for this color way or just buy white..
>>
>>10647963
I agree, it would have been perfect for lavender. I was really expecting a Shibuya lavender exclusive
>>
>>10647965

>>
>>10647952
Same anon, except I got the blouse in sax. I really wanted pink, but I feel like my chances were slim with an SS and the US release.
I wasn't expecting Paris to "restock" in the same day. I wish they just released all the stock during the general release.
>>
>>10647956
They also restocked a bunch of colors/sizes of the sneakers and I grabbed a pink pair.
>>

>>
>>10648022

>>
JSK and the monster garland seemed to sell out first.

I was paying more attention to the blouse colorways though.
Yellow sold first, then pink and white (didn't see what sold out first among the two), and finally sax. I was surprised. I thought pink or sax would sell out first.
>>
>>10648071
it's insane how bad it crashed today. it's almost like people want 2010 sweet prints again.. I wish AP wasn't so dense and could see they would literally print money with more prints like HG. and even more 2010 era solids like Fantasic Balloon, instead they keep giving 2016 larme looks every other week.
>>
>>10648075
Same. It is painfully obvious what people want. But AP is determined to die on their hill. They should go back to doing what they do best.
>>
That bloodbath was something else. Crossing my fingers that I’ll have better luck with the US release.
