What's a good way to cover up cutting scars in cosplay if I have to show my arms
>>
Foundation or some other makeup should work. Hope you get better to a point where you don't cut anymore

Get a skin sleeve. They're also used to cover up tattoos

Thanks
>>10617655
Sorry I suck. I'm trying to be better.
>>
>>10617655
damn someone’s projecting
>>
>>10617655
They don't need plastic surgery, what they need is to get healthy. You're pathetic
>>
>>10617392
High coverage tattoo cover up foundation works pretty well
>>
>>10617392
any high coverage foundation/camouflage will do, just make sure it's not too cakey or off-colour. Hope you get better anon

This is not as easy as you're all making it sound.
>>

one of the ayrt,
it worked well in my experience but I'm only dealing with already healed and quite flat scars. It's harder for non-healed/healing and bumpy scars though, so you might have a point if that's op's case.

Look up "dermaflage"

Isn't attention exactly what you're asking for with "self harm" scars? I don't understand what the problem is.
>>
>>10617752
probably bait but for anyone who's genuinely wondering, a lot of people do it if they're distressed and don't know any better way to cope, since your brain can only focus so much on emotions when you're experiencing physical pain. Other people might have a compulsion to "see their pain" and it's mainly to prove to themselves that they're hurting. And even if they're doing it for attention, maybe they only wanted it in a narrow situation and regret it later. Yeah, you can argue that these are still poor reasons, but it's mental illness.
>>
>>10617756
then you cut somewhere with little risk of it being seen
>>

Use the help thread next time
>>

I used to cut and hid most of the scars pretty well. It's not always for attention. I started when I was 9, though, and as a dumb kid I didn't realise that wrist scars would attract attention. Once I grew a brain I switched locations.
>>
you can cover up anything with confidence
>>
>>10617655
what is wrong with you anon?
>>
I just dont cover mine? No one seems to notice but mine are years old and surprisingly light. Everyone scars differently. I think the idea of a tights sleeve is best.
>>
>>10620003
nah you didn't grow a brain, that came later.
>>
>>10619952
FUCKING EXACTLY. I am sick and tired of these rejects pretending this is not about attention but they do it in the most obvious places so everyone can fucking see.
>>
>>10621589
Sorry, we usually end up doing it in obvious places because we're retards and want to hide it later when we realize it's retarded
>>
>>10617392
Cut skin off of your legs and tape it over your arms to cover up the scars with fresh skin.
>>
>>10624670
At least you admit it
>>
>>10617392
tatoos.
>>
everyone ITT is fucking retarded on both ends. people who cut are SUBCONSIOUSLY doing it in places that are noticeable as a cry for help. I swear you guys need to go to real therapists who will actually explain the psychological part of cutting.
