Have you ever been bullied as a cosplayer?
>>10614065I had a heroin addict tell me "cosplayers avoid reality" and I was just like, "bro...".
>>10614065No, i bullied cosplayers.
As a manly alpha male jojo cosplayer I love bullying the twinks and lolita cosplayers. Got to show then who's boss.
>>10614207As a lolita, I too bully the lolita cosplayers.
>>10614065I keep getting bullied by my discord into doing dumb shit
>>10614226are you being groomed anon
>>10614227Can you be groomed if you're not underage?
>>10614230adult grooming is a thing. You can also get groomed into non-sexual things, like a cult, or be groomed to become a person's care-taker etc
>>10614230absolutely. please be cautious
>>10614093lol mad cause he's right
>>10614269you deserved it for disrespecting their culture
No and I probably should have been. My environment when I was a teen, be it school, friends or family, was unusually accepting of my weirdness. Only when I started university did I realize that my experience wasn't universal and normies will in fact judge and shun you if you're different. And I wasn't even that obvious about it.(Of course I don't actually regret not being bullied but suddenly being thrown into such a judgmental environment didn't help my self esteem since I wasn't used to it at all. I partially blame my choice of major which was notorious for being filled with frat/sorority people.)
>>10614441As someone who was a bullied kid weeb, it wouldn't have helped you. You have to develop confidence on your own, no matter what your circumstances. People wanna romanticize bullying retroactively, but that's honestly not a productive thing to do.
I need a Bernadette cosplayer to bully while cosplaying yuri
>>10614465>People wanna romanticize bullying retroactivelyI agree with this. I was bullied as a kid. Now I'm in my 30s with plenty of perspective on it, and I can say it didn't help me develop or teach me anything useful. Being bullied just forced me further into being a weird awkward creep. I didn't learn basic social skills, healthy coping mechanisms, or even how to have socially acceptable interests. I was kept from having a lot of positive social experiences and developed really negative attitudes towards other people that just made me even more unlikable and pushed me further into my cringe weeb behavior. (bc why would i want to act like some normie when they're all mean assholes?)
>>10614065She looks like she has poop in her hair
>>10614518imagine the smell
>>10614538One of the few times that I went to a con I could smell various sections of the con pretty far away. Cosplayers are filthy.
I was bullied by /cgl/ lol
>>10614065Godspeed mom, save her before she's selling her ass
>>10614585did you like it?
>>10614585we all did.
>>10614065she looks like a grandma. With a face and features like that she should be a pickme tradwife not an unpaid whore. Her mom did her a favour
>>10614860rude
>>10614065I'm the dad of a cosplaying little girl and carry a big club just for that kind of situations.
>>10614065im a fatass so like yeah ofc
>>10614230DefinitelyRemember that you are an adult and can make your own decisions, and it's your responsibility to be aware of people who are eroding your boundaries or making you uncomfortable. If people around you are pushing your boundaries over time and you don't like it then you need to say no more often or even leave. If they don't accept no, then you really need to leave.
Yeah you probably shouldn’t be doing that in front of your parents.
Most was some random ass drunk chick who had no idea what the fuck was going on try to make fun of me and my group at Ohiocon and try to get these guys who clearly did not know her or want her to beat us up durring Ohiocon a few years. We just kept making fun of her till she tried to hit us and then the bouncer grabbed her, threw her out and then cops patroling the con gave her a talking to in the middle of a snow storm while she didn't have her coat on. It was pretty fucking funny.
>>106140653 high school girls wanted to "know what was under my akatsuki cloak", so they surrounded me and without giving me a chance to react opened the zipper, they were disappointed there was a shirt underneath. ngl, it would had been hot if they weren't brown and fat
at my third con, i was still in highschool.it was a simple design and homemade, handpainted, but even looking back, it was executed well.people genuinely were so nice and said i looked EXACTLY like the character, asked for pics and suchbut towards the end of the day a group of like college kids with way more intricate cosplays laughed at me to my face and said i looked like shit so i cried in a corner for like 10 minutes. didn't cosplay after that until after college
>>10622854ey when you end up clubbing someone can you please post it for the rest of us to enjoy?
>>10625070Omgg But you were sexually harassed and that's not okay
>>10625070I had a female friend who would unzip my hoodies really fast without warning because I was the kind of person who if I couldn't find a shirt and woke up late for school would just throw whatever was closest to me on. I'm 95% sure she probably ended up flashing people behind me at one point and making me want to sock her in the face. Moral of the story, avoid ppl in hs- they are fcking nut jobs and have no awareness of personal space or boundaries.
>>10614441Nah, I've been bullied and people have attempted to bully me for a lot of my life right into work where some pick-me MLM girl tried to bully me for inane shit. I finally was able to shrug it off when I realized I had a much better life than her, but bullies are often immature and rarely socially pressure you into doing the right things. If you're trying to get a higher EQ, getting bullied isn't it.Not sure what is up with the romanticization of bullying these days. Maybe some edgelord tiktok kids think they're too privileged or something.
>>10626092are you also male or was this a chick doing this to you trying to see your breasts
>>10626097I'm female, yes she was trying to see my breasts.
>>10626092Had this happen to me before but I was wearing a dress that zipped in the front
>>10614065Never been bullied. It's always been praise and compliments, even from normalfags. The worst was simply my parents telling me that I was wasting too much time on the hobby instead of finding a job.
no because i quit social media and only post my cosplay to my friends discords so i can farm attention points.
>>10626350yfw they were right
>>10614065Who is this?
>>10614065Female cosplayers bully you in instagram dm.
>>10614098based
>>10614517That's because you are still weak and never adapted. I had the same experience and i thank every day for it. God help you in getting better.
>>10626350You’re parents had the right idea. The people enabling you worthless lifestyle aren’t doing you any favors.
>>10640187This is a cosplay thread gtfo if you find it so worthless
>>10640198No way, nerd.
>>10626092I remember pulling my friend shorts down thinking he would be wearing boxers or something.Nah, mother fucker was wearing brief and proceeded to chase me across the high school building from second to first floor until a teacher stopped us. He literally had rage in his eyes and if he caught me at any moment would have pulverized the shit out of me. We were cool a week later.
>>10626350based parents.
>>10640208he was just angry you pulled his shorts down and didn't go further with a blowjob, you slutty tease
>>10614065That’s literally why I don’t cosplay. Family member mocked me pretty brutally when I first trying to get into it. I didn’t have any friends who into it, so without anyone to turn to for support, I just wimped out.
>>10614065I guess your pic was only bullied cause of twerking
>>10614230Every relationship involves at least a little grooming.
>>10614065Twerking is ugly and her mom disciplined her. This is not bullying or even abuse.
>>10614093Ha ha!
