When picking future cosplays I also try to keep my face in mind at least a little bit. Round cheeks and eyes mean my face is too unthreatening for overly elegant or sultry or intimidating looking characters, but my jaw and chin are prominent enough to make very cutesy characters look odd.

Yeah I have blue eyes, a baby face (think generic blond Russian), and athletic build, at 5'11. Unfortunately I only cosplay characters that I really like, none of which really capitalize on my features. Having a young face at 5'11 is a bit annoying, since most of the characters I like are shorter than that and it would look weird in group photos.I could positively kill it as Fate Prototype Arthur but I don't like the source material/character that much, so I can't get the motivation to make it. I think often about how sick I could pull it off tho, so maybe one day?

I've literally always done this. I don't have the kind of face or frame to pull off small, cutesy, chirpy type girls. But I'm able to pull off cold and intimidating women really well. Saves me having to smile in photos too. It really attracts a certain kind of gross simp though, and telling them to fuck off just makes them more into it. Disgusting men are unavoidable with any style, I guess.

I have enough moving parts to worry about
I have the body of a long twink. I'm very skinny with a super thin waist but I'm over 180cm, with huge ass feet and hands. On top of that I have a very manly face with a chiselled chin and a big nose. The only characters I can cosplay without looking like a freak are tall, manly (but not muscular) men with outfits that allow me to hide my thinness or crossplaying females/twinks that allow me to hide my face and feet/hands.Pic not related.

I struggle finding characters to cosplay. I have huge tits, a small waist, good ass and a cute enough face with makeup but my problem is I'm only 5'1" with short legs and thicc thighs. I would look retarded in short skirts unless I'm wearing high heels and even then it's not the best. I think my best cosplays have been Dr Girlfriend and Lana from Archer, but I wish I could do more anime characters.
