What's the best way to practice makeup techniques (contouring etc.) without making everyone you meet think you're a bit weird? Especially when it comes to judging my work's long-term viability (e.g. holding up all day during a con), I'm not sure how I should be approaching this.
>>10503149Just do it on your days off. Turn your heat up if you really want to stress test it. Also omegle and Chatrpulette are where I always tested makeup
>>10502682How does the community respond to mediocre or shit crossplay? Seems like it's without a doubt the easiest kind of cosplay to fuck up and one that'll get you one of the worst reactions for doing so.
>>10504889I've found that most people at cons and such tend to be the live-and-let-live type - so long as you aren't acting like you're hot shit when you're just kinda shitty, you shouldn't get too much trouble. If you're walking around in a generally mediocre costume of any type, though, don't expect praise for it - you're basically just part of the background noise at that point, so don't think much of it when nobody pays you much attention. There's plenty of bearded sailor moons out there already, so as long as you don't manage to pull something especially terrible you'll be fine.
>>10503149how do i even get started with makeup? I treally dont know where to start...am not a woman so nobody teached me that shit
>>10502682who is this in the OP pic?
>>10505879watch makeup tutorials, figure out your skin type for foundation but #1 is watching tutorials. You don't necessarily need the expensive products they use, but you can use them as a guide for what to get. it's going to look dogshit the first few times you try, so don't worry too much

You guys think Venti counts as crossplay? I mean just look at this one.
>>10507442In that outfit, if you are a male, for sure. You are cosplaying a man wearing very feminine clothes so you are also crossdressing.Others are pretty neutral so I wouldn't call it crossplay.
>>10502682How can I crossplay if I'm a tall 6'2 dude with wide shouldersIs it even possible without looking like an idiot
>>10511099Not gonna lie you have it pretty hard. You wouldn't look like an idiot if you chose some female character in full armor, but you might just look like a dude in full armor. At least it's not cringe. Height is only a problem if you cosplay in public, otherwise you can take a photo in front of a wall and people won't be able to too your height without references.
>Crossdress in own time>Often misgendered in public>Can't get the confidence to crossplay
>>10511253Alright thanksI think this kinda stuff is fun, but if I can't do it not abysmally then there's not much of a point
My shoulders are 42-43cm end to end, is that too broad? I'm very self conscious about them. I'm trying to lose weight too but I don't think it'll make much difference to my shoulders though.
>>10511341Shoulder width only matters in relation to the rest of the body. The same width could look normal on a person with wide hips or gigantic on a skinny person.
>>10511366Eh that's what I feared. I'm 5' 7" and 140lbs but my target weight is 120lbs. I kind of had a depression binge recently and being in lockdown going nowhere hasn't helped. It's slowly dropping back down to 120. My natural weight is 110lbs but I think that might be kind of unhealthy so it's no longer my target.
Any tips on epilating, I’ve gone for it a couple times but holy fuck the pain is a barrier. Thinkin to just get fuckin wasted and then try it maybe?
>>10511658I take painkillers and wax. Epilators are less messy, but they require way more mental fortitude than waxing.
>>10511658I want to get an epilator. If I can tweeze individual leg hairs out and feel euphoric from the feeling do you think an epilator would be painful to me? I often sit and tweeze leg hairs when I'm stressed as a form of self harm that doesn't actually injure or leave marks.
>>10511099Oh nonono, u can crossplay as shehulk
>>10511666Fellow tweezer. It's not the same, it feels different and not quite as euphoric sadly. There's nothing like having the satisfaction of pulling out a single hair
>>10511331damn post pics cutie
>>10511662It definitely requires some serious fuckin masochistic tendencies, honestly though, all I’ve learned thus far is that if you can make it through the first sixty seconds, you can make it through to the end
>>10512255I was the D.Va anon from last thread who plucked my entire beard to have a perfectly clear face. It was clear for a week and damn did it stay clear for a while. Facial Hair is growing in very soft and nice now that ingrown hairs have been deleted.>>10507582Yeah so just cosplay of course. Silly me (;
>>10512269Good lord, that must have taken for fucking ever, though it definitely looks like it was well worth it. How long did it stay clear? How thick has it grown back in?
>>10512269Nice to finally see a face pic, you pulled it off well!
>>10512272Yeah I was working from home and it took nearly 20 hours. Took a lot of breaks and my face got dried out by the glow in the dark paint I was using on the mask I painted. But yeah like a full 24 hours passed at least to finish doing my facial hair. It really did feel perfect and the smoothness I have now is nice but really patchy. Its easy as heck to shave though!!I do NOT recommend it for just anything. I did it because I wanted to remain hairless from Thursday to Sunday. Unneeded unless you're going away and wanna be hairless the entire week. Its an extremely painful experienxe that will take all your power to not give up especially if your beard can get thick like mine (used to?).
How easily could this be pulled off?https://dokidokicos.com/collections/dokidoki-ssr/products/dokidoki-ssr-game-genshin-impact-keqing-cosplay-ke-qing-costumeBiggest thing I'm worried about is the side chest area where it's lower cut and you can kinda see the chest. I'm not sure how I'd make that look convincing and/or hide a nu-bra or whatever other fake tits would work.
>>10512161I'm no cutie, I think I get misgendered for the wrong reason. I'm pretty sure I get confused for a butch lesbian rather than a cute grill, I don't have the build or the hair but I think I just have that kind of femininely boyish face. When I tell people I'm a boy they ask me if I was born a boy/if I have boy parts. I'm not sure I could effectively cosplay an anime girl, I just always look androgynous no matter what I do. I've never been able to cut a wig properly so maybe that's the key that I'm missing but I feel like it would just drown my face.
What are your options if you've got a fridge body and wide shoulders? I mean I'm really thin but my shoulders are kind of broad and my torso is box-y.
>>10512892Lots of shapewear. Hope you're willing to pay out the ass for corsets and hip pads, bro.
>>10512892Either >>10513044 or picking a character with an outfit that can conceal shoulders, like big shoulder pads.

>>10513189That's a decent amount of people here, bro. We're mostly just doing it for fun.
>>10513191Nice bro

How much does being 5'6 help with crossplay
>>10514932It does help to not be unusualy tall by female standards. However height alone doesn't say much.>how wide are your shoulders?>how masculine is your face?>how large are your feet?>what's you bodyshape?

>>10514955Outside to outside I think. >waistlineLike, my waist measurement? I'm like 36/31 or 32/37 or something. Not THAT hourglass-y but i guess vaguely.
>>10514959Sorry, 36/31-32/37
>>10507442Crossplay is when you cosplay as a character with the opposite sex to yours, so if you're male and cosplaying another male that just looks very effeminate that's still cosplay. You're cosplaying a trap essentially, cosplaying a character that is a boy that looks like a girl.
I promised my friend I'd wear lolita (brolita for me) with her after the pandemic. Since vaccine is coming I thought I'd start looking into it now. It seems like brolita isn't looked upon nicely in the community due to rampant cringe fetishist weirdos. So how do I not look cringe? I don't know anything about this fashion yet and I don't want to embarrass myself, embarrass her, or make other lolita wearers uncomfortable when I do this. Pic related looks nice to me and is the kind of thing I'm going for I guess
>>10517815>So how do I not look cringe? As a dude, you're almost guaranteed to look cringe unless you happen to be short, thin, naturally androgynous, good at makeup, good at styling hair/wigs, good at crossdressing, and good at making coords.Just wear ouji.
>>10517844I'm thin and I have a super androgynous face. Tall though. Isn't the rest of it just a matter of research and practice?
>>10517847Focus on having a good coord and learning makeup and hair care. You will always be looked at with a side eye but you can earn respect if you look good. Love the dude on the left.

>>10518258I try but it always shows at least a little bit. Is there any way to make it unnoticeable completely?

>>10517815>So how do I not look cringe? Some input:>Don't rush things. Take your time and do proper research>Find inspiration of your prefered style and try pinpointing what you are looking for>Learn about the basic DOs and DON'Ts of coording, purchasing and garnment quality>Try to learn what your body features are and how you can work around them to flatter them (What suits you? What doesn't?)>Sometimes less is more. Don't go over the top with your first coord, keep it humble>Hair/wig styling and make-up will be what makes or breaks your coord in the end. To an extend this does also apply to grooming in general
How the fuck so you wear a fucking wig properly and style I can't imagine trying to wear a fucking wig all dayDo I need to like trim this shit and use like hair spray or something
>>10518491Most wigs, like the one you've shown, aren't ready to use out of the box, the hair is much longer than what you want, but this is for a good reason: it has to be this long for you to be able to cut it and style it to match the character you want.Search how to cut and style wigs on YouTube. If you are cosplaying a popular character you can usually find a tutorial for it. Otherwise, just search for the generic hair style. Hi I would like go for Lolita fashion as a dude. Kindly someone from the Lolita community already gives me some advices. However, she is not familiar with the “dude related” stuff. I have a little bit experience in “normal” crossdressing but I’m far away to being an expert. My questions are:Where can I find a good wig and how much money you would invest?Where to buy shoes for Lolita fashion in man size? Do you were a bra with little silicon breasts or do you think it is not necessary ?Thank you for you help an cheers
>>10518544>Where can I find a good wig and how much money you would invest?Depends on your head circumference. Passable lolita wigs can be bought at 20-30 bucks with lots of air upwards for quality purchases. If your head is rather big, you want to be extra careful to buy wigs with big enough wigcaps, both for wearing comfort and looks.>Where to buy shoes for Lolita fashion in man size?Depends on your shoe size. Sizes above EU 41/42 will become harder to purchase. Antaina or Angelic Imprint on Taobao are well known for making custom orders for shoes.>Do you were a bra with little silicon breasts or do you think it is not necessary ?Padding is usually not necessary unless you really want/need it. There are very few specific dress cuts that may look slightly better with some filling, but otherwise you're completely fine without.
hey guys, you probably get asked this a lot, but approximately what would you say is the maximum amount of lewd considered acceptable in public spaces like conventions? I don't want to make anyone too uncomfortable or risk getting kicked out of anywhere
>>10519589What do you mean, like, lewd outfits? My local con you could do at the most a swimsuit or skimpy outfit that thoroughly covers boobs and genitals
>>10519599I just want to know what the rules are, the general feeling of what's accepted and what's not at cons, and how much this stuff varys from place to place. fully lewd outfits are probably the most extreme example so let's start there, like, for a character that goes around partially naked, you might make an outfit that included exposed breast forms where the fake nipples are visible. would that be banned everywhere?
>>10519636Absolutely, yes.
>>10517815She's grooming you.
>>10502682I'm probably just repeating >>10505879 in a sense, but I'm really curious if there's any tutorials or guides out there specifically targeted at complete beginners. More specifically, I'm looking for works intended to establish common background information other guides might assume a viewer already knows and understands - basic stuff like what primers, foundations, and concealers are used for and what makes them different, what powder is, etc. Basically, anything about makeup that will probably seem exceedingly obvious to everyone with at least a basic level of experience, but that might confuse someone who lacks that general background knowledge.
Someday I'm gonna crossplay as Violet Evergarden.Does anyone know a site which got good quality costume and boots?I've been searching especially the boots. But most of them don't look exactly like the anime.
>>10522560Aliexpress has some nice VIolet costumes, you can even order custom sizes for the same price. I friend bought one there and it was nice.As for the boots, I can't say much.
Pretty new to the whole crossplay thing and I'm hoping anyone could help me with where to find padding or something similar.
>>10523319You can search for 'breast forms' on any big store. Amazon and Aliexpress come to mind. They range from $10 to insanely expensive but the basic ones are enough.
>>10523525Cheers anon, I'll give it a look.

Do you guys use your regular voice or a female one? If so how the hell did you master a female sounding voice
>>10529776Practice. Pitch is only a small part that takes little time to raise significantly. Tone, cadence, etc. Are the bitch and overexaggerating is what makes trannies sounds like trannies. No I don't use it, cause I don't care, and it's fun the odd time someone is tricked and hear a deep voice the first time
>>10529776I practice a female voice for fun but will never ever use it in front of anyone because I find it incredibly cringe. Just use your regular male voice. It will make people cringe less and be more comfortable around you.If you want to learn there's tutorials on youtube. They aren't that detailed but it's better than nothing.
Alright, hypothetical scenario.Say I were to cosplay elizabeth bathory brave, and I stay true to canon and wear a bikini armor top that is too big, consequently flashing my nipples. For the sake of argument, let's ignore the bikini bottom for now, assume I go off model for that and wear regular pants if you will. Also for the sake of argument, assume I have makeup skills and trap aesthetics down to a T.Do you think it would:a) be super cringy because people would be super quick to notice there's a guy in a bikinib) make people do a double take and ultimately have fun with itc) get me in trouble with the con staff because a certain percentage of people is unobservant enough to actually fall for it
>>10529776Yeeeah the only time I dared to do a "female" voice was when performing karaoke of Lovefool. Since it was only for three minutes (and I was facing a screen the whole time), not really sure how it went over.

>>10532055Yes
>>10532382most people don't care. you're either trying or you aren't, and it's usually obvious.
>>10532397And? What happened afterwards? Did you take advantage of outrage culture to get them b&?
>>1051495915-16in bideltoid is tiny what the hell
>>10530540I'm pretty sure that's not ok in most cons even if you're male
>>10532382It's been nothing but praise on my end. I've only done it twice so far, but got a compliment or a photo within the first ten minutes of showing up both times. And since I've only crossplayed before, I'm not sure if the praise is coming specifically BECAUSE it's crossdressing or not. Hmm.
>>10532382Either everyone's accepting, or they don't care/too scared to say anything. Even when you don't look good.>Once tried the less makeup is more approach. I cringe looking at the picturesTho there was one amusing time, buddies and I dressed up as sailor scouts one day, second we were splinter cells/mercenaries. Second day we were all looking at some table and heard a fairly girthy man behind say something about "you girls look way better than those sailor guys". We all heard it, turned around to see the guy taking a picture of a group of girl scouts. Said something to the guy, and he fucked off when we all started talking to the girl scouts. They loved it and thought it was great seeing male sailor scouts.
What are some good characters to crossplay for girl with a strong square jaw but kind of large eyes? Think a slightly babyfaced living Jack Kirby drawing.
I ordered a binder from gc2b a month ago with expedited shipping and they haven't even posted it yet. People on their ig are saying the same, and they're not responding to emails either. rip to the only good binder company.
>>10535347I've got something similar.I ordered a gaffe from Hidden Candy Boutique all the way back in July 2020, but it still hasn't shipped. It seemed like they were swamped with orders for a while, since they flat-out stopped accepting requests for quite some time, but they've started taking orders again and I still don't have the product I paid for. I tried getting in touch in October, but all I got was a message with "your product will be ready in a few weeks," and yet, a few weeks later, no product arrived.I don't know if anyone else has or is experiencing something like this from them, but at this point I've lost most of my hope.

>>10538166how else am I supposed to attain an hourglass figure?
>>10538211Shapewear, ideally some sort of full length faja. Serves the same basic function except it's intended for genuine modern every day use. Personally also wear a waist cincher that has elastic around the mid point of the waist because the full body faja doesn't pull the waist in well on its own, but for your purposes that may not be needed.Plus you have to pad your hips. I don't care what anyone has to say about it, as a male, outside of freak genetic anomalies, you will not have the hip width to attain a proper hourglass figure, as "hourglass" comes from the contrast of width between hips and waist, not just waist width and not just hip width. You need both. Even if you're technically cosplaying a male character, again, hourglass is contrast, not just pulling one body part in or out.

Hearing opinions from Enako to make cosplay copyright rulesIs there a copyright fee for cosplaying as an anime or game character? -. The government has begun to develop rules to prevent cosplay, which is becoming popular overseas, from becoming a copyright problem.https://www.nikkansports.com/general/news/202101230000859.html
>>10541779so they want to tax cosplaywhat the hell man
>>10541795>so they want to tax cosplayIt's the exact opposite.Cosplay is a valuable cultural good for japan and important for their campaign of exporting japanese culture into the world. The goverment fears the strict copyright laws might impede the further growth of popularity as cosplayers could get in trouble for commiting to it. This does not necessarily count for those who do it in private, but moreso for the group of people who participate in contests or upload photos on social media.Basically, they're trying to work out a law for fair use specifically for cosplayers to make sure they won't get in trouble for it.
>>10541802oh, my badThat would be actually nice
>>10512269VOTE FOR PRES
>>10541802>This does not necessarily count for those who do it in private, but moreso for the group of people who participate in contests or upload photos on social media. If google isn't lying to me, this isn't about "In private vs. uploaded to 'social media'", it's about "People cosplaying for fun" vs "People who make shit tons of cash on cosplaying other people's IP." When it comes to this shit it's always a matter of money (aside from the extremely rare cases a company is particularly vindictive. Which even Nintendo, who are infamous for this shit, in their own backwards way only go after things they believe will directly impede on products they want to sell, ie AM2R when Metroid: Samus Returns was in development.)They're going after the people who literally just put on a wig and some cheap aliexpress costume, pose for the camera and post it to instagram or wherever, and rack in the dough from getting sponsored and other such things. Not the guy who makes a hand made costume and goes to his local anime convention.
Enako also mentioned in her tweet about the rights of characters she cosplayed have been granted by copyright holders. So most likely people will need sign some kind of compliance from the copyright holders before then can move on to have their picture and video shown on SNS or any type of media which will generate money.

>>10545157y not It was more a case of I was already dyeing it, might as well cosplay while I'm at it
Anyone have that magic shave powder tut that used to get posted in these threads?
>>10540053this desu, you don't need enormous shoulderpads, all you have to do is break up the outline of your shoulders and unless they're as broad as a linebacker's you're good to go
>>10545159Real hair looks awkward and greasy in photos, plus it doesn't stay in shape or retain enough volume in comparison to wigs.Somebody who's better at cosplay can probably explain this better than I can. But aside from that, the cosplay isn't that bad. Might want to get some shapewear though.
>>10546647That's basically just it tho.The short of it is thick volumous hair is needed for anime and crossdressing, and noone has hair thick as a good wig. Also you sweat, but wigs don't absorb it as well

How do I get started with lolita fashion as a male
>>10547823Just like any other lolita. Just be confident and try to make yourself look reasonably nice and people (probably) won't bat an eyelash.
>>10543974>Passaway, yes
>>10502682Daily reminder that food coloring is the best way to experiment makeup without getting caught.(careful with blue tho)
>>10547823You don't. You're a fucked up homo already. Don't degrade yourself further by dressing like a baby and associating yourself with toxic crazies with bad spending habits.
>>10547823>How do I get started with lolita fashion as a maleWhat >>10547855 said. It's not any different to any other lolita. Look up what kind of style you like, take your measurements, order the right size, learn make-up and hairstyling.
Are short skirts (like pleated skirts) easy or hard to pull off?
>>10556062Depends, if they sit at your natural waist then you'll look pretty many. If it sits above your natural waist then it'll make you look more feminine. I think it has something to do with the illusion of longer legs?
Is it possible to wear a sweet lolita coord as a moid and not be seen as a fetishist
>>10556081not really, i haven't seen it done. gothic, yes, because of mana. classic maybe because it's classy. but sweet already looks borderline suspect even on women.
>>10556105What would I need to be able to pull it off? Now it feels like a challenge to me
>>10556081As a lolita, some people will accept it for woke points, but a large majority will always see you as a fetishist. However, face stickering is pretty common and accepted in our community, so if you were to post very good, cohesive sweet lolita coords and Sticker your face, you might get away with it
>>10556114Why sticker my face? If it's to make me pass better for female, my face is actually the most passable part of my body.
>>10556118Then no everyone will assume you’re a sissy
r8 my crossplay
>>10556902That's not a crossplay that's just wearing some shit you bought on Aliexpress. Come back when you put actual effort into it.

Which of these designs would be easier for someone who has never cosplayed anything before?
>>10557411Smash Ultimate Zelda 4sure: much less fitted, less details and simpler armored pieces
>>10557413Thanks anon. Guess I'll go read guides on getting started with cosplay or something
>>10557431You can start by checking Kamui Cosplay on youtube. She has really helpful tutorials.
>>10557411On the flipside of >>10557413, Twilight Zelda's arms are mostly covered up, if you're at all self conscious about your hands and arms, the pauldron's on Twilight Zelda are much larger, making it easier to hide wide shoulders underneath, and it's a touch easier to make a slightly larger bust with a breastplate look good on a guy with a male ribcage than to make a smaller bust not look awkward spread out a large chest area. Plus open toed shoes, unless you have incredibly feminine feet already. The other anon is still entirely right, but it's not like Smash 4 Zelda isn't without problems either.
>>10557620Yeah except you can always shave your arms and the baggy tunic will hide your lack of curves for Ultimate Zelda.....theres no faking the curves on Twilight Zelda without some drag show level padding. Plus that dress shape looks shit on anyone who isn't willowy to begin with
>>10557587Thanks anon>>10557620>>10557713My hips are unusually wide and I have a butt despite being thin. People have commented on my waist before too. So I have some curves I guess? My biggest problem is how wide my shoulders are.
>>10557722Pauldrons can def help you hide this, just play around with length and shape using some foam mock ups
Does anyone have any experience wearing a corset to get a narrower waist? Like if I wear a corset for a week and take it off before wearing a dress, will my waist stay thinner while wearing the dress? Even if it's just for a day or a few hours or whatever.
>>10557886is this bait from the last time someone asked this?no, it does not magically crush your body thinner just from wearing it now and then and stay that way once removed. don't you think many many women would do this if so? yes, if you wore it daily for extended periods (weeks/months) the fact that you'd probably eat less while wearing it would probably add up to weight loss and slimming down that way.if you want a more defined silhouette you need to leave it on to retain the effect. You can look into waist training in order to wear them underneath clothes while dramatically shaping your figure (as in it would stay on underneath the costume/outfit, so you'd need to waist train below the bulk added by the corset as well). there are some designed still as actual underwear vs fancy/thick ones, usually with mesh between the boning to keep them more breathable. but it would still be an uncomfortable process if you're not used to it.if you don't need that much of a reduction and it will be hidden by clothes, you could try layering women's shapewear as well.
>>10557886No. Wear a corset and learn to pad.
>>10557891No it's not bait I'm just ignorant and dumb. So even years of wearing a corset won't make the waist thinner? I've seen pics of women with super deformed looking waists and I thought it was from corsets.
>>10557886I'm planning on purchasing a corset so I don't have firsthand experience, but the corset resources I've read say there won't be any physical alterations to the body at least not for a while. Even then, it's not major alterations unless you corset tight and for long enough that you depend on the corset to support you. Remember, skin and fat shift so just compressing it for a while won't really change how its distributed on your body. If your crossplaying someone with the stomach exposed you could make a "corset" that compresses the stomach but has cloth that imitates your skin. (Similar to how some cosplayers use tights and long gloves in green or gray for green or grey skinned characters) If the character has lots of skin showing and wears something like bikini armor, then looking like a sexy anime girl will take more than a corset.
>>10557894Those women wore corsets from a very young age, and kept them on all day while growing up. That's what caused their ribcage to grow deformed. If you put it on sporadically or once you are an adult it will push the meat if you are fat, but it will not move bone.
>>10557886Let's talk about what corsets do and don't do. Ratchet-ass photoshop attached. If you're a guy, corsets will reduce your waist 2-3 inches, a bit more than you might get from sucking your gut in. You can get more reduction than this, but that requires corset training- a time consuming process that you can look up elsewhere if you're interested. The major benefit that you see from a corset is that it changes your silhouette by pulling in your sides by making your waist more of a circle- see ratchet-ass photoshop. This shape of waist does not look good with most types of clothing- you mostly want to wear it with a dress or period-style clothing.Corsets don't permanently change your shape. Unless you've worn one from a young age and it shaped your skeleton as you grew- like anon mentioned above.Corsets restrict the way you move. you don't bend at the waist when you wear one. They can also be uncomfortable, especially after a few hours of wearing one. To get the most comfortable corset with the most reduction, you'll need to get one custom made. $$$Unless you're going for a period-style outfit that requires a corset to look good, you're probably better off with some shapewear & pads. It'll be more comfortable, you can move & breathe more easily, and you'll still be able to build a feminine silhouette. Unlike the guy in my terrible illustration.
Where does one acquire a passable set of fake boobs that aren't enormous? I want something on the smaller side but it seems all the decent ones are huge.
I'm new to crossplay, looking for some pointers on where to start with things...Any advice for good makeup brands/tutorials? I saw there's a few videos in the gdoc. >>10558352Seconding this. I'd really like a fake bust that looks like skin instead of foam, but isn't a G cup. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
>>10558352Maybe try layering actual pushup bras? An AA or A cup is pretty flat, and is mostly just padding. You can wear an A cup pushup bra under a normal B cup bra for a smaller, more natural look. Only problem is no cleavage, you would have to have a pretty high neckline shirt/dress or contour the shit out of your chest with makeup
>>10556902Waaaaaaaaayyyy too stronk. I mean, wear it for the memes if that's your thing, but as far as an actual crossplay it could certainly use work.
>>10556902Cosplay true form Bisky
>>10558352Royaner offers some more reasonably sized breasts on some of their breastplates. Eyung and Ivita only offer larger breasts.
>>10558352Invita has pretty much all sizes
>>10558570he's not big enough for that.
>>10558328Something to add about padding, unless you're wearing something that hides that area of the body (really poofy dress around the waist that hides the hips for example), don't only either wear shapewear around the waist or pad out the hips, you have to do both. Waist size and hip size are a matter of the ratio between the two, having both makes the feminine hips seem larger / feminine waist smaller. Only padding/wearing shapewear on one or the other won't do it enough to get a decent silhouette, unless you just have really wide hips and/or tiny rib cage for a guy to start with.>>10558352There's a large amount of "Big boobs = better" going on with availability in the market, but there's also something to be said about the fact that men on average have larger rib cages then women do. Meaning that small boobs on large chest looks disproportionate and awkward when you're already fighting against the masculine form to crossplay. It's easier to make larger boobs seem proportional on a larger ribcage, and conversely large boobs on an absolutely tiny ribcage can look equally as absurd as the inverse. Gotta work with what you have unfortunately, and unless you just have a tiny ribcage and torso generally, small boobs aren't going to look great.Otherwise, what >>10558637 said.
>>10537989post deets
>>10559691The problem I've had is in the shape of the breasts offered on breastplates. I have a larger rib cage, and I need larger breasts to look in proportion. Breasts that are large around, but don't protrude all that much look best on me- easy to accomplish when I stuff a bra. Unfortunately, all the breastplates have breasts that stick way out and aren't compressible. I bought a Royaner G-cup, but to make it look right I need to wear it with something that's closer to a binder than a bra.
>>10565415They make a wide torso version of their G cup now, might be worth looking into?
>>10502682Anyone familiar with this collection of items being worn and brand for them individually? Looking to cosplay if possible.Lapin Angelique –>ribbon mini-hat,>lace-up dress,>frilly parasol,>platform shoes
>>10565548Dress looks like Baby, The Stars Shine Bright. Parasol too probably
>>10565574Thanks! I'll look into this.
>>10565548
>>10565500Thanks Anon. Nice that they're making a larger version- but 43" is too large for my 39" rib cage.
>>10565548The world ends with you, Joshua cosplayer? You better bring a good wig and makeup to be recognized, along Mr Mew or pins. It would work better as a group cosplay with a well known character in costume, his base clothes are too plain, L-tier, to pull off nicely.Consider the Reaper NPCs, Hanekoma or even Beat. Uzuki Yashiro would be the easiest pick for crossplay.
no matter how much skincare/makeup my face just looks way too masculine, at this rate it just doesn't seem like I'll ever pass, sigh
>>10569661Time to put those rona facemasks to use
>>10569661Dude just do the best you can and relax. I've got a boxy man face too and if you're worried pick characters like Morticia Adams. Or characters with the right hair style that obscures the edges of your face.
>>10502682you will never be a real man
>>10570080wanna see my dick? :3
This is me doing Astolfo, can I get some criticism?
>>10570386
>>10570388
>>10570386Have you ever heard of kigurumis?
>>10570390Not really. Some sort of pajamas?
>>10570386>>10570388I think you're cute.
I don't know who is worse. You fags or the femoids you're causing to seethe.
>>10570386 Wear pantyhose under the socks next time to even out your leg complexion.I would recommend drawing your eyebrows further towards the center. They start really abruptly and could be blended better even for cosplay makeup. Your eye makeup also I think could be more natural, right now the cat eye look is a little drag queeny, it’s exaggerating the depth of your browbone which is a masc feature. Watch some tutorials on facial feminization makeup and natural looking eyebrow pencilling.Finally.. do not let your belly hang out over your skirt waistband tuck that shit in girl..
>>10570800Thanks for the good tips I will try to use them for the my next shoots

Would Cloud be a good cosplay idea if I wanted to start out?It would be an opportunity to work with styling and makeup without the pressure of having to TOTALLY pass (I think)
>>10586657The appeal of crossdressing Cloud is he is cute. If you are not you'll be put in the same crowd as man faced Astolfo's and broad shouldered Felix's.
Any ideas where I can get a good quality bunnysuit? I wanna cosplay Picrel but don’t wanna buy cheap aliexpress shit
you better have a tiny waist, broad hips, or both. otherwise you'll look bad.
>>10523525Can confirm, they add that lil extra chest but can be hard to keep on sometimes with no support. As long as you have a sports bra/reg. bra on it should be fine
>>10570386White pasty skin
Tips/thoughts? I'll change it up a bit to keep the exhibitionism down (and make it a bit easier on myself), but other than that, I'll try to stay true.
>>10589989I wouldn't bother desu
>>10589989Unless you have a way of downplaying man shoulders, I also wouldn't bother.
Anyone here have any recommendations for silicon accessories? Like hips, breasts, etc. Even non silicon would be fine as long as it looks good and real underneath clothes. I looked at the guide btw and I don't want any of that home made stuff if you were gonna suggest that.
I am a 5.0 petite asian woman and I want to cosplay as manly men. How would I go about doing so?
>>10590354Roanyer is probably your best bet for silicon breasts, I know several people who have gotten their products and they're apparently good quality. They're ludicrously expensive, if you're okay with that.
>>10590354just get them on aliexpress.
>>10590354Eyung 7th gen breastform if you can afford is great, roayner is a close second as the neck collar is less detailed and the silicone is more reflective compared
>>10590360Unless your some master builder then I suggest you keep expectations low and downgrade to looking like a muscular twink at best. Even your pic is impossible for most guys and I've heard rumors that he injects silicon to get that bod.
>>10590360Get yourself a full-body muscle suit. Warning: It is extremely expensive, and you'll probably overheat in it. I do not recommend them but they are the only way you can achieve that body shape.Alternatively just cosplay armore characters, but I imagine that's not what you want.
>>10590573Got any photos, or could point me in the direction of photos of the eyung ones, especially if it's comparing them vs the roayner? It seems like it's ever so slightly easier to find reference for the roayner ones than it is the eyung.
I'm absolutely completely new, big hairy guy, kinda overweight I just wanna have fun and feel confident. I got a nice razor and an eyebrow pluck but no makeup and clothes. What the fuck do I do? I live in fucking Romania, does anyone know of any good places to buy from in central/eastern Europe?I've looked at girls' BIG sizes on cheap local stores but it's all just really bad I wanna wear dresses and thigh highs and shit.No clue how to get cheap makeup that will do the trick and help me learn how to apply it and how to remove ALL of this body hair
