Has anyone found any Tee shirt cutsews on AliExpress? The only Casual shirts I have found were the chiffon ones .
>>10478192I've been searching for some too, anon. Best bet is Taobao, the only cutsew I've seen is the one shared in the last thread. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mMNGqnv
Should I just file a dispute at this point? Order was placed July 10th
>>10478263Yeah anon.... you should have been opened one....
>>10478263Wait at least 1 more month I think. Delays of up to 3 months can happen.
I guess I'll ask here as well, should I go forward with the dispute? I ordered it in June.
>>10478263>>10478404Depends on whether you want to wait longer or not. You can go ahead with a dispute but you can also request the seller to extend the buyer protection time. If you are feeling patient you can do that and then if it still doesnt show, you have a large time frame to submit a disputePersonally I would probably request the extended period time and try to wait more. Untracked packages out of china have been really fucky since Covid. Not just from their end but from your own country accepting packages as well
>>10478156I ordered something earlier this month and the seller shipped it just a few days ago. Now tracking is saying the shipment was canceled.I used Aliexpress's customer service chat but the link they sent me to open a manual dispute doesn't work on neither mobile or on a desktop. What should I do? Customer service rep told me to wait 2 hours for the link to work, but it still doesn't work.
Any luck with finding thigh/knee socks that stay up fairly high above the knee for 5'10-5'11 people?
I bought lashes back in April, disputed and refunded in June, and they arrived today in October. Wonder wtf happened.
>>10481884Coronavirus. And if you're an American like me, problems with the postal serviceIt's not just international shipments, completely unrelated to Ali I purchased a pair of gloves for work from a US seller and paid for 3 day shipping and it's been 5 business days and they aren't here yet>plz don't turn this into a political thread

>>10481899I've seen sellers advertise 3 day shipping and then on the tracking it shows the service is technically 3-5 day shipping.
>>10481934I assume you're asking for links of cheaper copies of it, but just in case you didn't know, that plush is originally from Killstar's "Kreeptures" line
Is 11.11 worth waiting another month to order? I’ve got quiet a few bits I want to order but but mostly they’re no more than £2. Is stuff discounted a lot?
>>10489134a lot of the time the sellers put the price up just before then 'discount' for 11.11. Usually for items that cheap it's not worth waiting.
>>10489136I thought so, thanks
>>10489143Different anon, but try using an add-on like Honey or RetailMeNot which tracks the prices over a period of time so that you know when there's an actual sale. It'll also plug in coupons at check out for you. Not sure how good it is with Ali coupons but it's great on other sites.
>>10489981Has honey ever worked for anyone on Ali? I’ve tried every time I buy for over a year and it never worked
>>10490035I haven't had any success. I wonder why
Any good animal brushes anyone tried on Alie? My friend linked me a goat set she liked and it blew my mind how amazing they worked despite them getting slightly frayed and being dirt cheap.Looking for more eyeshadow or large powder brushes.
Has anyone had problems buying fabric and trim from ali? I don't need much, so it doesn't seem worth doing a taobao order for the minimal amount I might save.
>>10478156Asking because I saw their stuff on aliexpress, but is cosplaydiy a good place to order from? I want to do a return of the jedi cosplay, but can't find a pattern.
>>10491826I hear recommendations for ali's trim and notions all of the time but I've wondered the same about the fabric. I think I remember a reply on one of these older threads about someone who swore their "100% silk" was actually a blend. I'd imagine it'd be wise to double triple check the descriptions and then stick to non-shiny fabrics for your best bet. If you do buy, let us know how it goes
>>10490084the cat in the mirror isn’t matching up to the cat irl ?
>>10491826the "fleece" I got was some of the thinnest, shittiest fleece I've ever seen. Was worse than that crappy fabric cheap stuffed animals from the 80s/90s were made of that felt like sandpaper.Got some printed cotton though that was nice. One was a digimon print and it was lovely, made a baby blanket and some burp rags with it, and the other was Moomin but the cotton had a different feel to it but was still decent for the cheap ass price.
>>10495551Your contributions to this board are always enlightening and on topic. I'm glad you're here
>>10491826I've never had problems with any lace or fabric I've ordered from AliExpress, although I've only ordered fabric a couple times and it was fabrics I had seen before in person and sourced there. I wouldn't buy expensive stuff like silk or velvet because you don't know if it's actually silk/ if it's high quality. Basically, for fabrics I take it as a gamble unless it's something I've seen in person/felt. Lace and trims have always been good, I've never had problems with any of it. I've mostly gotten lace but also some braids as well.
>>10491826Like other anons said, lace/trim is good, fabric is usually pretty thin and not the best quality
Anons who buys from aliexpress, don't you have pity for Uyghurs?
Any anons found shops that sell exclusively nanchatte stuff yet?
>>10499126i post them every thread/
>>10478574I had this happen to me once and reached out to the seller instead. They assured me that the product was still in transit. So I waited, saw it got cancelled again but then it arrived like a month later.
Anyone even bothering with 11/11 this year?I usually get a big taobao and Ali haul each year, but I haven’t really felt compelled to make a big order this go round. If anything I guess I might get some home good stuff off Ali...
Has anyone bought a petticoat from AliExpress?
>>10499195Yeah, it actually ended up being pretty good quality too. I’d link you, but it was years ago.
>>10499193I feel the same way. They're not even pretending to have good deals anyway.
>>10498838Lol you're an insulated moron if you don't think you're exempt from this. Plenty of non-chinese companies are complicit
>>10499193I may grab a few small things. Found a sweater I really like for me and saw some cute baby clothes I'm very tempted by for my little one. Though the way she's growing and how slow they've been I should probably order at least a 6 month size (she's only a few wks old but already fitting 3 month old stuff with her long legs)
Has anyone ordered a lot of little charms for earrings and jewelry? What’s a good store for a big order of them?
collage of my 11.11 haul that no one asked for.there were some semi-decent sales hidden in certain stores, and the coupons were a nice extra bonus savings. overall, pretty pleased with my haul this year.
I put a lot of stuff in my cart but the sales are really underwhelming. Some of the sellers marked their prices down but the shipping prices up so the cost is the same

Little haul. I'm usually on the lower end of spending money by the time 11/11 comes around and have to determine priorities, but I decided to start shopping for the holidays. Phone case and pink bag are for me, other backpacks are for my roommates. Trying to be more practical this year rather than just buying the weird fandom crap my friends always ask for.

I don't know if I ever posted it here, but a while ago I found some bootleg grosgrain ribbon that had the CTP print on it. First time I found non-dress AP bootlegs on Ali (not including the abundant tea party shoes)
Got a small haul this year, usually if there r any cosplays I've had my eye on in my wishlist that go on sale, I would grab them. But I'm trying out garage kits and this seller had really good reviews, so hopefully she looks good!

Is it normal for packages placed around end of September to be stuck in Shanghai with no updates since 3rd-6th of October? I bought some clothes and stuff around the same time and all the clothes have arrived but there's still a pair of tea parties and a chair I bought from different sellers that said "handed over to airline" and nothing since the first week of October, not even an update on the USPS end with at least tracking.I tried to dispute the shoes and request they cancel them and refund me but despite being past the official estimated delivery date Ali just immediately responded saying wait 10 days cause it is still on the way, but then 10 days later I edited my dispute to say I DID wait, and they emailed immediately after I hit submit telling me to wait 10 days again.Am I doing something wrong? I don't need the items to arrive immediately but the lack of any shipping updates when other stuff has been ordered and arrived the same time and since then is odd.

What's the difference between aliexpress and taobao and when/why should I use one over the other?
>>10510216You need to use a shopping agent with taobao but can purchase directly from Ali. I don't know the pros or cons beyond that.
>>10510229Thanks for the input. I've been researching on my own but your reply is appreciated.
Any good meido listings? All I keep seeing is the same 2 sets and obviously a bunch of lingerie.
>>10510216>>10510229to add to it aliexpress often resells things off taobao but mure expensive? Like you can find 15$ taobao dresses on ali for around 50$plus i see a bunch of taobao shops owned by chinese brands, while i've only seen a few on ali like punk rave
>>10509252Normally things take about a month or more but this time it took less than two weeks (to europe). I ordered on the 18th so after 11/11 sales and i got it a few days ago.>>10510216Aliexpress is pricer than buying on taobao but better for buying a piece or two here and there. No shopping agent needed because aliexpress is basically taobao resale shops marketed to the global market.Taobao is only worth it if youre wanting replicas/exclusives (such a chinese lolita brands) not available on Aliexpress or ebay and/or plan on doing a big haul of purchases.
any definitive plus size nanchatte stores on ali? I have bookmarks for taobao shops but I don't have the funds to justify compiling a big haul rn. mostly looking for skirts.
never ordered from ali before, what is tax like? most of the stuff i want to order has free shipping. i live in canada
>>10510721I live in canada too. you just pay for the price + shipping. if shipping is free, you just pay the listed amount
>>10510721there's no provincial tax and as long as each package is marked as 25$ or less no customs duties or anything!
>>10495450Man I am like a month old but I hope you did not buy from them, I got scammed and they sent me a really shitty Flash cosplay like 3 years ago
>>10503489the keyboard has arrived anon! ive only been using it for a few hours, but i love it so far. the lights are super bright and very easy to adjust. overall most of the videos ive seen online are accurate to this board. a few differences i've noticed is that the board doesnt seem to be as flexible as it used to be. some older reviews mentioned the board having a slight bend to it, but i tried and i couldnt get any flex out of it, but maybe thats because i'm weak. the keyboard also comes in a much nicer, branded white box as opposed to the ugly brown ones that other people have received. i got the hot-swappable version, and it is actually hot swappable. i got the gateron black switches and they feel perfect. when you try to take a keycap off, the switch does come off with it so thats something to be careful of. the stabs are a little bit wobbly, so i will be customizing those eventually ,but they seem to have improved from their first batches because they dont seem to be as bad as i've seen in other people's reviews. overall, this keyboard is actually better than i had expected. it sounds pretty good straight out of the box, feels nice and stable and looks beautiful. i'm happy i got it on sale, but i absolutely would have paid full price for this keyboard because it is definitely worth it.
is aliexpress a good idea for buying some normal black/striped thigh highs? (if not where can I buy some for relatively cheap?)
>>10512315Yes, Ali will suit your thigh high needs.
>>10512315Yes as long as you aren't too fat, in which case try sock dreams
Sorry if stupid post but is there a google doc/directory similar to the taobao one for ali shops?
>>10512745I haven't ever seen one on here. That sounds like it would be helpful though.
Sorry for my retardation gulls but I thought “US customs” occurred when ali orders arrive in the US, not when they’re leaving CN? On my browser ali says for my order “accepted at Shenzhen” but the bar at the top implies it’s in the US. >feel free to laugh at me
>>10513392in my experience literally none of that is ever accurate
>>10513392maybe it means the CN domestic leg of the journey is over and now it's on the way from CN to US Customs? idk though.
Do you guys have any experience with shoes from taobao? I kind of want to buy 2 pairs of platform heels for cosplay but idk how the quality is, I don't really want to spend 100-200 on shoes that I'm only going to wear max 7 days a year or so
>>10514243taobao flats & knockoffs are pretty ok quality, multiple platforms from Alie have completely broken with regular wear for me. what kind of platforms do you need for your cos? i've used demonia and yru shoes for some. they're comfy, fairly priced secondhand, and retain retail value.
I've never bought from aliexpress, but I have been browsing for some keychains and stuff sold by different people. If I buy them, will they group them together to ship in one package or ship them seperately? Also, how long does it take to arrive to the US?
>>10514269Sold by different people. They all come from different factories if you order from different stores afaik. Can't answer the shipping question since I'm from Europe though.>>10514260How long did it take to break from regular wear? I personally really don't like to order secondhand clothing in general since I have a slight fear of contamination.Pic related is the shoes I'm looking at, they're really simple and probably also sold in physical stores but size 4.5 is hard to come by for heels here lol
>>10514299>since I have a slight fear of contamination.Different anon, but you can quarantine your packages if it helps. And then sanitize before wearing.
I ordered a Len costume off of aliexpress, shipping method was epacket. The estimated delivery date is mid-january. Is that probably accurate, or could it come within 2 weeks or something? How long does it usually take to get from China to the states during covid?

>>10502272really good taste anon! would love it if you could review some of these items when they arrive especially the vest and skirt
>>10514243Brand shoes suck so I would go with angelic imprint or antaina. There's a spreadsheet of taobao sellers, but I don't have the link. Maybe another Anon can link?
Did any of you guys ever order contact lenses from aliexpress? I've been told TTDeye is basically a dropshipper that has everything delivered to you through aliexpress
>>10515209Well that's one way to get an eye infection
>>10515209lol why tf would you do this? Just use an actual reputable seller like honeycolor. The rule of thumb for Aliexpress/taobao is to never buy something that goes inside your body (including skincare because it sinks into your skin). That includes sex toys and of course contacts.
>>10515304this is outdated retard information. only difference between aliexpress and dollar store/Walmart skincare and makeup is the willingness to remove bad products. you'll still get the same shit and be shit out of luck if you get an injury. most of that stuff causes issues much later on that are rarely show to be product related. contacts are a different matter because they are a medical device.
>>10515312Okay, change what I said to "don't use weird Chinese skincare/makeup from brands you've never heard of" because people shouldn't be buying random no name stuff from dollar tree or wally world and slathering it on their face either
>>10515314right, but there's a dumb stigma specifically towards certain tb and ali products which makes people think the same products are safe simply because they are at western stores. my idiot friend chides me for buying dishes (even though i have a led testing kit) abd and then turns around and gets them in chinatown. it's like how chinese food places write no MSG on menus but fucking doritos have MSG on the ingredients label.
>>10515304Thing is, I only plan to wear them once for just a few hours and then I'll toss them. I don't like keeping yearly lenses because they're kind of nasty lol. Will even a few hours harm my eyes?
>>10515326>Will even a few hours harm my eyes?YESGet quarterlies from honeycolor and then toss them after the first use, they're like 15 bucks dude
>>10515209>>10515302TTDeye is also known for its unsafe contacts (and bad business practices) so I'm not surprised they're acutally dropshippers.
>>10515326if you poke yourself in the eye it hurts right? Why would you think putting cheap unknown material in your eye for a few hours wouldn't hurt them? I think in a thread last year someone even posted a pain of lenses they got off ali and it had like raised bumps on the lenses that would scratch the shit out of your eye.
>>10515326I don't get people like you who keep trying to insist on it. There are cheap lenses everywhere, why are you insisting on something that could literally blind you for life even if you only wear it 'for a few hours'? There's some shit we can all deal with- yellowing resin, jewelry that breaks, shitty milanoo clothes. But if your eyes break, that's real bad because you can't really get those back.
Taking a moment to gripe about sellers who list things for sale they have absolutely no intention of actually sending. I had to reach out to one seller of eight from a recent large haul to ask when my item was going to ship and they flipped back and forth between saying my order was shipped and in my country already (2 days after contacting them LOL), to saying the goods were "of low quality" and "had to be returned to the manufacturer." I requested a cancellation and they immediately approved it. Why bother wasting your time doing this? Are there really enough spineless people out there that won't ask for a refund that they actually make money off this? It seems like you'd make more money you know, actually selling things in your store.
What does typical aliexpress tracking look like (from start to finish)? Mine is a bit vague in some spots. How on earth would it leave the country and then arrive in the states a few hours later?
>>10515326Anon, Assist wigs from Japan sells daily contacts. It's like $15 for 3 sets and they're individually sealed so you don't have to worry about them drying out/ having bacteria. Not sure about shipping right now since I haven't ordered from them since Covid hit but they usually ship internationally.
Does anyone have experience with packages being handled by Pitney-Bowes once reaching the US? I am absolutely terrified that my orders are lost between a 3rd party logistics company and USPS.
>>10524185Pitney bowes functionally just means usps for my packages.
Only ordered a few things things for now, but I plan to order a lot more shit I don't need soon. Lol
>>10515326Jesus Christ how cheap and stupid are you.
>>10523256Aliexpress tracking is weird. Sometimes it's 100% accurate and updates everyday, sometimes it doesn't update for weeks. I've had some stuff say left warehouse and then show up at my house a month later, no updates, nothing.
>>10524192It doesn't though. It goes through their distribution centers before it arrives at the USPS. There are tons of negative reviews and posts around the internet about how their handling times before the transfer are upwards of three weeks. That's why I'm so worried. I've ordered from AliExpress so many times but I've never had my packages route this way after they arrive in the US. I haven't had any major issues with USPS either even with all the delays for the holidays.
>>10524284I've literally sent 20+++ packages in the last month through them and they've all been fine. Calm down.
Multiple Christmas gifts I ordered mid-october still haven't arrived. The tracking hasn't updated since November 10th. Is it safe to assume I'm not getting these things?
>>10524287personally i think they'll arrivei recently received something i ordered on nov. 4
>>10524285Sent, not received? Were these packages moving only within the US? Your situation is not the same as mine but ok
these two gentlemons arrived today
I ordered something that was shipping from the US, to the US. Tracking number was weird and never updated beyond creation. I told the seller and they are willing to send a new item. Seller and item itself has good reviews.Since the order has 2 days to be closed, do I open a dispute? Or what do I do to ensure they send a new item?
>>10503277can you link for the sheep cardigan?
Never bought from Aliexpress before. What are some of your favorite shops for clothes? What items do you NOT recommend buying from Aliexpress as far as clothing goes?
>>10524703This is probably stolen art fyi
>>10524703Desperately need a link.
>>10529332no shit they are. Majority of pins on ali are stolen from etsy and other indie artists.
>>10529424Yeah anyone buying character stuff from Ali is acknowledging it's almost certainly art theft and doesn't care. Not gonna moralfag about it but that's the truth.I actually accidentally bought a knock off of an existing Sanrio product I could have gotten from their US store at close to the same price recently and I'm annoyed cause I didn't realize they even sold it. I'm wondering if the Ali version is safe to use (it's a metal thermos mug) and considering eating the cost of buying the official one if it was retarded of me to trust a food related item from there.
>>10529429>she still believes the memes about food related items from aliexpressstop.
>>10529447I mean if ur gonna pour hot liquid into a metal lined cup and it's questionable quality it could cause problems.
>>10524565They were all received fine. I thought the implication was obvious? Keep panicking though. You seem incredibly dim.
>>10503535enamel hairpin link pls?
>>10529429for hot drinks I'd eat the price and buy state side.
Aliexpress orders have been shipping really fast for me this year. I've gotten packages within 3 weeks of placing an order. It's a lot faster than some years ago.
>>10531024i agree with this, before it used to take a month minimum to get anything lol
>>10531029Yea holy shit the dark ages seem to be over? I just checked and I got one package within two weeks which is super fast. Papa bless.
>>10503535Can you review the bag once it comes in? And is that an old bodyline shirt?
>>10529333No you don't, it's art theft, don't be an asshole
>>10531068you want to provide a link to the artist then if you're so worried over art theft?A lot of pins are limited prints, which is one of the reasons ppl then go to ali, the other being price.
Anyone know of any good cozy high thigh socks?
>>10531635Nayrt but obviously the real reason is price. People use Ali cause it's cheap/convenient in comparison to taobao, period.
Anyone else in the UK getting fucked over by taxes?>Find cheapest priced of desired items>Go to checkout with general idea of total cost of all items >It costs way more than I expected At this point, the 'shopping on Ali to save money' period seems over, prices are not that disimilar to eBay or Amazon.
>>10533783Thankfully I ordered before taxes kicked in. I'm wondering, though, if my £30 order will be hit by customs. I'm so confused about the new customs laws now we've left the EU.
>>10512094Hey anon, thanks a lot for the personal review! I'll probs end up getting this keyboard! Currently looking into different custom keycaps to make my gaming setup even more individual. I'm really excited, it really was about damn time I switched out my keyboard.
>>10533783Yeah, it's really annoying, but at least it means Royal Mail can't change you £13 for the honour of paying £2 VAT if it gets nabbed by customs
>>10534256I'm >>10534097Does this mean that if we pay the tax we wont get customs up to £135?
>>10534358I can only assume so since the tax is already paid
>>10534433Okay thanks. I was confused whether we had to both pay the tax and then be hit by customs.
>>10534451>>10534358i believe tax isn't the same thing as custom fees
>>10534552Customs duty is only for items over £135. The fee you pay under that is VAT unless its alcohol or tobacco. Goods under £15 being VAT free was scrapped tho
>>10535082Okay thank you. Its a pain, but as another anon said I guess it's better than Royal mail charging a fee for paying the fee and holding your goods for days
All my packages from Aliexpress aren't arriving but my Amazon packages are, this fucking sucks. My friend in Russia is getting her packages though so it's definitely not the sellers...>mfw the Russian postal service is working better than the US postal service
>>10535636they don't have to ship overseas to russia.
>>10524194links to everything?
>>10535636Usps got fucked over by Trump>3 packages in usps limboI hate this country
