>>10463096I have some difficult coord requests I want to see anons do! I've devised a fictional lolita community made up of fictional characters that I think anons might have fun putting together outfits for. (or trouble, good luck with working with the tall ones!)>A Lolita coord that can be worn by a 5'11 woman with broad shoulders and size 11 shoes. Every dress is too short on her and the waist of dresses hits her at the underbust. She cannot fit into one peices due to her shoulders, and blouses tend to give her trouble as well. She prefers sweet lolita, but would settle for classic. Is self conscious about her height and just wants to feel cute in her favorite fashion. >An Ouji coord that can be worn by an a 6 foot tall guy with size 8 mens shoes. He Loves the look of Atelier Boz's clothes. He plays it off to his friends that he wants to dress like this to get "weeaboo pussy" but in reality he just wants to feel like a prince. Thinks wearing pumpkin shorts makes him look gay.>A Classic or Gothic coord for someone with a larger chest. She's short and everything usually fits her but has problems with the bust. Tired of being sexualized and just wants to look refined and worship mana sama in peace.>A character themed coord (anons, pick your character, any one!) for someone who's a big weeb, but also wants to look good at the same time. she's been struggling trying to get the theming right for her favorite character without looking like trash, and hopes to impress her crush with her styling at the next meetup.>A straight up Ita showed up oh god what is she wearing (up to you anon) She's the embarrassment of the comm and its amazing how she looks so terrible. Loudly talks about being into DDLG while everyone sinks in their seats while she talkshave fun!
>>10463113Honestly, thank you. I'm bored and depressed as hell so this should keep me entertained for a while.
>>10463113That 3rd one is litterally me but just classic.
>>10463113>The 3rd oneWhy are you describing me anon?
>>10463365are you me, anon? lets be friends and cry together
>>10463365>>10463376i will cry with you both too.
>>104631131st one is so me that I'm just gonna post what I wore>Blouse from Lovely Maxi, so its plus size and comfy>Skirt has a 116cm waist >Shoes are custom from Cotton Candy Feet>Frilly ankle socks bc OTK and tights are a dreamI'm 5'7 and fat, so skirts + blouses are go to
>>10463444Oops, forgot wrist cuffs but you get the idea
>>10463444Thanks for posting this, I need that blouse in my life.
>>10463376>>10463383Made a coord using my dream dress, hopefully you guys like it as well!
>>10463483is the blouse custom sized?
>>10463485No it's Atelier Pierrot, their blouses go up fairly high in terms of bust size.
>>10463113Caesar is my current obsession character so
What program do you guys use to make these coord pics?
>>10463483Imo it’s too much, the gloves and a blouse and with an op is a lot for an otherwise simple outfit. I personally am not a fan of the blouse with the op.
>>10463489omg are you raincoat-chan i love this
>>10463444hey, I'm the same height. i went for skirts initially because i figured i can wear the blouse untucked and then it won't show that i hike down the skirt below my natural waist, but then i feel like the blouse bust darts are still high up and the skirt is still short and the waist isn't cinched so i just have an elongated lumpy torso inbetween. if i wear the skirts at my natural waist then i feel like it shows too much leg for sweet, and the underskirts i see are too OTT for my casual skirts. so I've started going for adjustable-strap jsks instead. how is the length of the mam blouse? do you wear it untucked? do you do anything about the skirt length or you're at peace with it?
>>10463113Tallita swimmer checking in on number one>Meta is based and has stupid long adjustable straps>also big shoulder friendly blouses bless them>normie cardigan that will actually fit, disguised by cute blouse collar>crew socks because haha fuck otks>AP accessories because that’s all the ant sized brand will ever make for us tall gulls
>>10463513NAYRT but I’m >>10463527 and I’ve heard MAM blouses are short even by average person standards so I’ve stayed clear. I’ve personally accepted short skirts since skirts are typically casual. BUT most of my skirts are hand made so it’s not an issue for me regardless. You can get a super simple underskirt from MeLikesTea. I throw it on when I’m feeling self conscious and it just adds a simple chiffon ruffle that’s a few cm.
>>10463489Everything about this is taste
>>10463513Well I don't mind if the skirt is a bit short, I live for the whole bloomers-peaking look. My style is a mix of 2010 sweet and old school so I feel like I can get away with that, never tried underskirts tho, I feel like they're kinda too much for anything outside of tea parties I usually leave my blouse untucked because I kinda don't like how it looks when it's tucked?
>>10463477Np! They just restocked too! Sadly ems is still kill but apparently CDjapan will do holds
>>10463113Prompt number four. Not quite lolita, but 2010-era AP. The color made this stupidly hard,
>>10463529>>10463547hmm chiffon feels too fancy and modern for my wardrobe. i guess i need to bite the bullet and get long bloomers.
>>10463576You could probably commission a simple cotton ruffle and lace one but yeah if you are old school just learn to love bloomers
>>10463504Procreate because it costs $5 and gives me the false hope that I will draw again some day
>>10463581Oh, I don't know why I didn't think of commissioning it. I wonder what the additional fee would be. (I'm kind of medium-school? I like cotton prints, 2010s but mostly non-AP sweet. Is that a thing?)

How would you coord this dress with other colours than brown and white? I'm thinking of getting it but want it to be versatile. The navy seems like a very muted tone that could be hard to match.
New to lolita and trying to coord before I buy. Advice on this?
>>10465957White/ivory/jewel toneI think you should go for something with a pointy collar like a lot of Boz's blouses. It's just a black skirt though, so as don't overthink it. Anything that isn't seethrough and goes with your coord is fine.>>10467479The JSK is super pretty and overall the coord seems really solid! I'm not a fan of that underskirt(?) though. I also think that you might want to go for a different blouse and shoes. Neither of them is terrible, but the shoes are very sweet compared to the JSK and the blouse looks like it's kind of cheap. It doesn't even lay nicely in the stock photo. This is mostly nitpick though.
>>10467495Thanks for the advice! So the colors are at least fitting? I can stick with gold shoes but maybe get a different pair? Another idea was looking for black shoes and adding gold clips to them. As for the blouse, how can you tell? I don't doubt you I just want to be able to pick up why it looks cheap so I know what to look out for when looking at other blouses.
>>10467479nta but while this star lace actually works here you should know that it has a negative rep for being shoehorned into coords it doesn't belong in and you may get shit for it at some pointon the blouse - it looks cheap to me personally because of the ricrac-like lace, the way the fit looks kind of frumpy even on the mannequin, the button spacing looks a bit uneven betweens sets, and the fabric just kinda has a vibe. it looks wrinkly despite the blouse overall appearing steamed, at least.
>>10467479I agree with >>10467528 though I actually really like the star lace for this dress in particular. It's about time someone actually coorded that star lace properly
>>10467528>>10467544The star lace gets that bad of a rep? Yikes. A shame, because I like it too. I like constellation/space themed outfits. Alright, hunting down better blouses and shoes now.
>>10467547What's your headpiece?I think the shoes are fine. As for the blouse I'd try to think ahead to future coords. You don't need to plan your entire wardrobe right now, but would black x gold be something you foresee wearing with other dresses in the future? You may want a black blouse just to be more versatile.Same thing with the petticoat, it's better to buy a generic petticoat or you are going to have to buy a different one basically right away.
>>10467574I haven't figured out the headpiece for this in particular yet. I'm thinking of gold star/moon hair clips along with a black KC bow but it's up in the air at the moment. As for a plain black blouse, that's what I'm looking through now. The black and gold just stuck out at me since the rest of the coord went with that.
>>10463113>everyone was dressed but the tall guy>tall girl gets one coord by a somewhat tall girlI dont want to hear cgl complaining that tall people cant dress themselves when they dont want to put in the effort to try helping them again
Newbie here looking for guidance, does anyone have advice on how to coord with this twilight blue color? I plan on wearing a pink blouse, pink shoes + gold jewelry, but the blue is throwing me off since it seems like such a specific color
>>10467604Wear pink, gold, and white with it. The magenta in the print can be worked with too if you happen to have anything in Baby's dark pink. I own that dress and that indigo blue is super hard to find.
>>10467594nobody want to help the guy who says he wants to get weaboo pussy. the part about the tall girl is fair, though.
>>10467610Thank you! I made this quick collage of a possible coord with lots of pink and gold
>>10467619the man is fictional
>>10467620Hey I was this close to buying that bracelet but stopped because it goes with nothing I own. Cute as fuck, hope you get it.
>>10467634what's your point? he's unlikeable.>>10463113>>10467594Here, I tried my hand at the tall girl with big shoulders and feet who wants sweet but can deal with classic. The JSK stock pic is lav, but pretend its the pink colorway as shown on the print pic. Jsk has adjustable straps, full back shirring ~112cm and length 107cm (68cm skirt). The underskirt is also 68cm, but she could wear it lower on the hips to add more length or find a better one than I did. The cutsew is stretchy and has longer short sleeves which I assume would ride up and look sort of like a regular length short sleeve. The shoes go up to 16US.
>>10467547There are some cute black blouses for <4,000 yen on closetchild, anon. You don't have to buy brand to look good, but it is a safe bet for a newbie worried about quality. If you want a taobao blouse, look for one from a well reviewed shop that has some drape to it. That was a big part of the problem with the blouse you picked out, the fabric looked cheap. You can see it in that the ruffles on the one in your pic stood out really stifly, but you want ruffles to lay a lot flatter to the body.>>10467580 I like your idea for headwear. If you want something really cheap and versatile, a black beret plus some gold aliexpress star clips might be cute.>>10467594I would do the tall girl challenge but I'm 5'0 and have literally no idea how long a 5'11 girl's skirt needs to be.

>>10467807I mean I wouldn't ask a tall-chan to help me pick out clothes as a short person. It's just hard to know how an x cm long skirt will fall on a person with dramatically different proportions.
>>10468497Fool, every board is /a/
>>10468536as a tall person I know more about short people clothes than tall people clothes lol.Short people clothes-wear childrens clothes-get asian clothes-petite section-take some clothing in with a seamstress-asian shoesTall people clothes-there's two tall specialty stores. all with boring options.-shoes? if you have a size 13 shoe go fuck yourself lmao-you're into jfashion? good luck lmaoIts the difference of resources. due to covid some of the major tall fashion brands shut down so we have even less options
>>10468630it's weird that you assume all short girls are skinny and have tiny feet
>>10468633If you're fat and short you still have options and can just take things in or have them hemmed. Also much of the time though not all shorter height can mean smaller feet. At least every short person I have met has had smaller than average feet and every tall one a little larger than average. I've been short and fat in the past and having to deal with moe sleeves or long pants legs isn't that bad conpared to having skirts and dresses hit uncomfortably short or pants turning into capris I am guessing. Plus petite plus sizes are a thing; fat people have tons of options nowadays irrespective of height. Being short and healthy weight is easier as well cause you can shop kids section or just wear Asian or jfashion. Though for me my body type limits me to dresses and skirts since boobs and hips make it harder for stuff to sit right.Being tall as a girl comes with other problems and insecurities too especially in a fashion all about femininity. I'm annoyed at my size making it hard to reach things but everyone babies me or tells me I'm cute or wants to help. Tall girls deal with more insecurity socially when they are young I hear being "less feminine". Even runway models tell those stories from their childhoods about being picked on for being lanky abd tall, etc.(You are right that a lot of short people are fat tho; just look at half of all western sweet lolitas)
>>10468633alright, so you aren't skinny and have regular or even large feet.unless you are a size 11 or higher and/or also obese I could still work with dressing you better than I can my tall self.as >>10468665 said its not a baseless assumption, and your comment still doesn't change my point
Apologies for bumping. I'm at a loss with this coord. What legwear and petti would work best? Are there any A-line pettis that aren't too huge?Would a beret with cluny lace work? If so, what color?
>>10471798Your coord is pretty basic right now but I could easily see this going in an academic look. Picture as vague inspiration. A navy blazer to match the skirt would be cute. A beret for an academic feel would be good as well. A square style school bag. I dont have any particular suggestions for legwear but something simpler would probably be alright.
>>10471798i haven't got any petti recommendations, but a beret seems nice in theory. are those shoes navy or black? white OTK frill top socks would be one option. the type with textured patterns on them help them not to look too plain. you could also use navy tights with the typical crown pattern. i think a cardigan would be very cute with this.
>>10471825If you used navy tights, you’d definitely need some navy up top to balance it, like a navy beret and maybe necklace
>>10471815>>10471825>>10471828These are really helpful, thank you! The shoes are actually navy - the lighting's just weird. I didn't think of using navy crown tights, but that sounds like a great idea!
>>10471798As for the petti I really like Classical Puppets’ daily A-line for its minimal but long-lasting shape.
>>10471798I think beige would go well with that navy, a nice camel color
>>10463113>>An Ouji coord that can be worn by an a 6 foot tall guy with size 8 mens shoes. He Loves the look of Atelier Boz's clothes. He plays it off to his friends that he wants to dress like this to get "weeaboo pussy" but in reality he just wants to feel like a prince. Thinks wearing pumpkin shorts makes him look gay.Alright, here it is. Clothing is from fanplusfriend (the first suggestion people give bigger oujis, custom sizing), hat is from Historical Emporium (easily googleable), boots are Demonia (one of the first results for "goth shoes" and they go up to women's 12), and everything else is from Ebay with search terms like "man mask" and "man goth ring". Long pants because he's not gay.

>>10463568omg this is so cute!
>>10471825>>10471798One last question - the sleeves on the blouse are actually very puffy IRL. Would a cardigan still fit over them? Sorry if this is a stupid question - I'm still a noob
ChallengePut together a coord with this gun
>>10475352I’m fine with hedonistic sluts but I do agree that people shouldn’t bring people into the world as side effects of their own pleasure. I’d rather my tax money go to preventing more births like that.
>>10472150Most lolita cardigans are best for wearing over skirts or jsks without a blouse and you can't really stuff even average blouse sleeves into them.
>>10471825>>10471828How's this?>>10475450That figures. Seems like only short puff sleeve blouses will really work under cardigans.
>>10475450I have no problems at all with fitting blouses under lolita cardigans as long as the blouse sleeves are fitted and not too long. Not sure where you are getting that from...>>10472150This might fit a little weird, just make sure the cardigan has long enough sleeves and fits you well. It’s not the worst though
>>10475478This would look much better with the tights in white IMO
>>10475740Maybe it's just the cardigans I buy then. Most of mine are Baby and have really fitted sleeves. Or my arms are beefier than I realized, I do lift weights.
>>10475754My arms are pretty big and I also own Baby. Some are fitted but others aren’t. Either you have bad luck or should buy larger cardigans. They are definitely designed to be worn over blouses
>>10476272I'll try and get some that look a little less fitted then. As it is I just wear short-sleeved cutsews with them.To the other anon, sorry for misleading you!
Is anyone able to help me coord with this shade of pink? Should I just go for white blouse, white OTKs, red shoes and brown accessories? I was thinking of shoehorning chocolate themed accessories in bc of the brown but may be a stupid idea
>>10476922I think you could do ivory also instead of white. Brown shoes for a more classic styling or gold shoes for a more fancy styling. For the brown, I'd take it to a sherlock holmes-y theme rather than a chocolate theme.
>>10476922Brown, ivory, or gold. Though I know some people really hated the gold trend that was popular a few years ago.
>>10471798that skirt would not fit a petti. a good idea is to instead use bloomers with ruffles that naturally puff it out,
Any recommendations on coording Mozarabic Chant? I want to make a Visigoth themed coord to go with the print. Im kinda at a loss of what to do for a headpiece mostly but will take any suggestions in general
>>10475478Ditch all the black and focus on the colors of the main piece. Navy beret instead of black, white tights with blue accents, navy shoes. Add in a cute school themed tie. Make sure it's good quality and not cosplay satin. Add some large pins, and a cute school bag. Don't try to do black with navy and blues like this.
>>10475478>>10479471check your monitor balance anon these all look navy to me
>>10479437Maybe a veil with some charms on it? According to google, that's what visigoth women wore. The color of the veil would depend on the color balance of the rest of the coord obviously.
>>10471798Honestly for short skirts like this you can just use a shitty short petticoat from leg avenue or wherever is cheap. They don't need a lot.
>>10479471Anon, none of the pieces I used were black. I think you might have a monitor issue.
>>10480566Thanks! I feel real dumb for not thinking this. I might make one with pearl and amber beads in the near future. An alternative I was thinking over the weekend was doing a cape/capelette with an embroidered/beaded pair of Visigoth eagles (like the ones pictured) pinned to hold it at the shoulders but that might be a tad costumey
>>10471987I wrote out several of the descriptions because when ever I saw anons with the tall ody types I listed asking for help the responses were"just LEARN idiot, don't expect handouts, fuck you for asking for help, maybe you are just bad at the fashion?"and I theorized they didn't know how to coordinate for tall people themselves. Based on the amount of coords made for the tall folks and specifically the ouji, I was correct. The best I can have to offer to help your boyfriend is ikemen mode, and fanplusfriend.
I'm struggling to accessorise this dress in a way that works well in an actual outfit rather than just a collage. I already have a similar black blouse, black/gold tights and navy shoes and haven't bothered to wear it with any jewellery so far. Obviously not going to drop 1k+ on costume jewellery, but I want to find something that adds some more navy/gold back into the outfit rather than just matching it with black like the brand photos.
>>10484125this jewelry is all sub $20 on ebay
Hey gulls!! I got this lovely older bodyline dress and love how the colors are a bit more washed out in person. There's also a touch of glitter in the stripes! I was thinking a white blouse would be best, with strawberry accessories. I feel like I need to step it up more. What color shoes? Any ideas for accessories other than strawberries? Hellllp
I recently got this dress in the mail and want some ideas of what I could wear around my waist for a more gothic look. I usually do sweet or sweet-classic type looks so I’m a little out of my comfort zone with this piece.
>>10486735i think since it has an oldschool feel you could keep it simple and do the bag+shoes in either white, red, or black as a starting point. With the pattern, you could stay with country strawberries for warm weather or lean into a more preppy look for cold weather with something like a crown necklace, cardigan, and beret. I wouldn't try to match the sparkly stripes with full-on gold(?) bag and shoes because it's not that fancy, but you could match the jewelry to it.

Looking for help with Melty Ribbon Chocolate. These items are what I currently have on hand. Open to suggestions.
>>10492089I'm wondering how well those items actually match - on my monitor, it's showing me a deep chocolate brown bow, yellowy ivory blouse, mid-brown dress and off white/chocolate brown socks. The first thing I would replace is the blouse if you're going to match with off-white, since at least the hair accessories and socks sort of match the waist bow and trim on the dress. The default choice for shoes with this dress seems to be dark brown, which would work with what you have so far. If you're keen on adding gold in the accessories, you might be able to get away with gold shoes.
>>10493364Thanks Anon! The colors matching was exactly what I was afraid of. I can say the socks are much more cream in person than in the photo, however, I was wondering if I needed a darker blouse, this helped alot!
Can someone do a coord collage of Ninon Beart?
>>10494237what a cute hairstylecan someone make me a coord with this jsk that’s not ita pls.
wondering if I could tighten this up, I always struggle with OPs and using extra colours that aren't in a dress
>>10494275I really like this! I'd suggest replacing the necklace you have chosen with something nautical themed to match the ring, like a ship's steering wheel or a compass. Hell even one of those octopus necklaces you used to see everywhere.
>>10463444anon do you have a link to lovely maxi? can't find anything
>>10494275I'd swap the madoka cosplay shoes for something else desu
>>10463527Is that dress and headbow available to buy new from Meta? I'm quite literally in love
>>10463444Need that skirt in my life. What is it called? I never remember the long ass kumya print names
>>10494275I would add a wine ribbon sash on the waist, tied either in a front bow or in the back. Add a navy pin on the front of you beret as well. White wristcuffs, Two more rings. I'd also agree with swapping a necklace for something more of a statement piece.
>>10494283Oh my God this thingThe best part is that it doesn't have 8 legs
>>10495373wait I counted 8 though?
>>10495377nope they're just curling around
Looking for help coording VM's preppy check in creative ways. Thought of pulling out the navy in the pattern but it's very very subtle irl, all the colours are darker than in stock pictures and I'm having trouble using things other than ivory/black.
>>10496455I seem to suggest this a lot, but try mustard.
>>10491981get well soon anon x
>>10496455Ivory or black would look great with this
>>10496593fuck, Just saw your caption. ignore me
>>10496455Oh hey I have this. The blue is honestly not that noticeable, so green might also be a nice pop of complementary colour without necessarily clashing with blue. I would try mustard first though, >>10496461 has it right.
>>10495373Why would you tell me this OTL
>>10494249Does it specifically have to be in that neon orange colourway? I hate that one
>>10496455If you have some blouses in different colors (or even just normie shirts) you could try them on under it and see what color combos look good. If the stock photo isn't very accurate it's going to be impossible for any of us to tell you what will look good.I agree with the other anons that mustard might look great. Either a bright mustard or a darker brownish one. Beige might look good. Navy might look good. Green might look good. Dark teal might be an interesting contrast. You can also go matchy matchy and look for a blouse in a similar burgundy.
>>10494249I played really safe
>>10494249this would look really good with any of the orange little witch accessories!
>>10496455Maybe this could work?
>>10496995I really like this!
>>10496461>>10496598>>10496660Ty for all your suggestions! I'll shop around a bit and see what I can do!>>10496984This is adorable! Such good inspo. Thank you.
My first meta dress. I’m thinking about wearing brown tea parties, white otks, brown purse, and a green and white headdress. Any suggestions?
>>10497070Brown is totally the way to go! I feel like heels would look better, but you can't go wrong with tea parties
>>10496995>>10497035Original anon here, me too!! Thanks so much, gulls!
>>10497075heels? can you post an example?
>>10497070Oops a white blouse too. Should I switch the shoes to brown RHS or stick with brown tea parties?
>>10497070With your description, this is what I came up with
>>10497194i dont have this particular meta dress, hut their stock photos these days wash the hell out of the dress so wait before you decide on white vs ivory
>>10497233O that is so cute ;; thank you!! I was thinking of oxfords too but I wasn’t sure if it was appropriate for the coord. I love the wrist cuffs and socks so much! >>10497234Good to know! Thank you!
>>10497235Wristcuffs are from IW, and the socks are from Baby.>>10497078So glad you liked it!, I really enjoy doing mock coords just for fun.
>>10463096 I would like to hear other people's input, particularly regarding if the fur collar is a good idea, what headpiece I could use for this, whether or not the bolero looks good with this dressI was also wondering if grimoire tights, particularly Verum Dr. le Dossier de Gilbert Tights, work with this dress or would it look bad? I have the idea of putting some brooches on the fur collar (and I could put a brooch on the collar of the blouse if I decide to not wear the fur collar), but I'm not sure what it should look like
>>10506296i think the cross tights thematically match better than the grimoire tights. are you planning on wearing the bolero and the fur collar at the same time? you might end up with too much stuff stacked on your neck with both of those and the high collar blouse. all of the worn pics i've seen of this dress makes it look very black. i would be more inclined to go black/ivory instead of brown/ivory with it (though admittedly i usually wear gothic)
>>10489445The dress, blouse, headdress, and socks are all fine! The bag is okay too, it's not personally to my tastes but you could make it work.Absolutely ditch the boots though. I saw someone wearing something similar a while back in person and they were really awful. If you want to go for boots, change them for something more like pic related. Sorry I forgot to put socks in my version but the OTKs you chose are fine. Personally I went for a more traditional headbow as kuro coords always bring to mind more oldschoolish times for me. Got lazy with the jewellery, sorry, but it was just to give an idea of a style you could go for.
I don't know how to work this with colors besides going all ivory or brown. OPs are hard for me to be creative with.
>>10507514Well ivory works well with a lot of colours. I'd go for jewel tones myself, such as a rich blue.
>>10507514>>10507568Terrible collage but just to get some ideas across
>>10507514Any other color. I particularly am partial to jewel tones, but pastels can work really prettily as well. I did a very simple (shitty) collage with burgundy but sometimes I think less is more for second colors too, particularly if you want to keep the beige OP as the centerpiece.
>>10507793Dropped collage like an idiot
>>10507574>>10507796Thank you! These are lovely!
Any ideas for AP's Holy Ribbon? I got this a couple months ago but I'm stuck on how to coord it. I was thinking red or burgundy might be nice, but I'm open to anything really.
>>10508966This is the only good coord I could find. I think it would look super cute with black legwear and white shoes. Alternatively you could bring out the silver accents in your jewelry or other pieces.
>>10508966Black stockings and black KC with white shoes? Pearl jewelry and accents in headwear. But that's pretty basic
>>10508966Silver shoes, bag, and accessories. White everything else.
>>10463096Can I request a coord based on Judy Abbott from Daddy Long Legs?
>>10511281Honestly, this would be cuter inspiration for a more generic girly fashion "otome" outfit than lolita. All you'd have to do is browse through some axes femme and ETC to find similar items
Hey >>10467479 here. I chose a different blouse and shoes instead, yay or nay? Still hunting for headpieces.
>>10511281off-topic but, for the image on the left, what sort of neckline is on that blouse?
>>10511494it looks like a badly drawn turtleneck sweater.
>>10511302i don't know why no one told you the tights print clashes. maybe get ones with just stars on them?
>>10489582The socks are wrong, shoes are better>>10489445Socks are right, stripper boots are wrong. Low chunky heel or platform for sweet coords if you don't like TPs
>>10511505Sounds good, I've seen starry ones in passing I can find easily.
>>10511302>>10511505I love the tights with the coord. I don't think it clashes at all.
I need some help, I would love to wear this jsk for a meet in two weeks, but I have no idea how to coord it.I was thinking on maybe a red headbow and red shoes, but I think that may come out very basic, I would love any ideas to coord it.
>>10512509If you happen to have some gold, I think gold and red would be fun. Gold blouse, gold shoes, red socks, red KC?
>>10512509Seconding >>10512522Also, if you have any of those gold harlequinade socks/tights I think that would look cute. Also, tartan and red always makes me reminiscent if old school even if it's a more modern print, I think a maxipad headdress would look cute with this!
My kingdom for a lavender short sleeved blouse or cutsew. Has anyone seen any around?
>>10512536Wait found one on bodyline, nevermind. I'd rather not get bodyline but finding this color is proving to be difficult.
>>10512539my honey parish blouse in lavender is actually pretty okay. it's durable and comfy as i've used fabric softener on it a couple times. the quality is nowhere near burando, but it's durable and one of my most used blouses since finding tops in pastel accent colors (mint, sax, lavender, etc) is near impossible.
>>10496455This dress is beautiful. I tried my best
>>10512522>>10512527Something like this could work?
could this be coorded in a more gothic way?
>>10512539Bodyline has a very pink toned lavender iirc. Hopefully that works for you...
I'm somewhat struggling to coord Gobelin Teddy Print A Line JSK, particularly what blouse I should use and how to bring out the colors in the print instead of wearing just all black. I plan to put my hair in tight ragtail/ringlet curls. I would also like some help styling this in a more classic way, and I'm 50% sure that the gloves may be a terrible idea
>>10514746I want to say tan or chocolate brown will work in with the orange, or even traditional "fall colours" like brass/bronze toned metallic and a muted green. I think you're best to stick with a black or brown blouse though and maybe a high collar with minimal embellishment.
How badly am I doing here?
>>10515416Nah, this looks cute! Only thing I'm a little worried about- it might just be my monitor but the ears look like they could be a little pink-toned. Also, I think a short necklace could look really cute worn over the turtleneck as long as it doesn't overlap on those cute bows
>>10515456Thank you for your encouraging words!! I was torn between that headband and a darker brown one, so I think I will go with that one!
Attempts at baby's first Bodyline. I'm hoping to hit the mark of "acceptable if basic", since I'm not trying anything too crazy for a first coord. #1 is just black and white, #2 is trying to tie in a rose motif. Currently looking for cuter tights than the basic white, but they'd have to be suitable for tall heights (180 cm).
>>10518534Can you post a pic of yourself to help us figure out what would look good on you? Its okay if not
Any ideas of how to coord Castle Mirage OP Ivory?
>>10518800Navy and silver socks/tights, navy or silver skies/bag, ivory headdress+/- some silver clips
Was told I suppose to post in the help thread to ask about stuff. Is my proportions weird in this pic? I’m thinking about cosplaying cloud from ff7 or something from kh
>>10518826This is the lolita coord thread dumbass. Cosplay thread is this way >>10493999
>>10518831Hmm now that I’m here do you think I’ll make for a good lolita?
>>10518837I would love to dress you up! V cute.
>>10518837And they call women attention whores...
>>10518837You look haggard
I bought pic related on impulse, but i've got no idea how to coord it in a gothic way.
>>10518889It’s already gothic. Just put it on and wear the tights, shoes and headdress you’d wear with any other basic gothic coord.
>>10518826pro-tip - dont stand in front of defined lines such as doorframes if you're going to photoshop yourself.
>>10518840Thanks bae, I’m down
My first. Is it ok?
>>10518908I just never feel gothic when I wear it. I guess the problem is me then.
>>10518983Why is his hand positioned like it's supposed to be on his hip but instead is behind his (lack of) ass?
>>10518984very nice! personally, the shoes are a little too cutesy for me, but they should look fine. if the bows on them are removable i would take them off
>>10518983Those your girlfriend's shoes and bag in the background? Again, get better at photoshop. Those arms are terrible.
>>10519027they're probably his mom's.
>>10518889It's the navy, I have a similar one from them and it always seems to read more classic to me even when I try and be "gothic" with it. One way is to try picking up the blue and then using Moitie blue x black items in the outfit, or wearing something that's more associated with goth, like a corset belt.
>>10518987Different anon, but makeup and accessories go a long way. Try a new handbag, or more statement eye looks, maybe some statement jewelry, etc.
>>10519027low key take but I low key think he might be low key into crossplay. that or he's a history buff and is really into the history of shoes especially wifmen shoes.
Requesting a coord that involves a necklace made out of these bears
>>10519436Are you trying to recreate Lor's necklace?
>>10519441Nice. I think they'd look good with that Meta bear cafe print; it has one of those little bears on the collar area of the JSK. I forget the name.
>>10519450Teddy Bear Baker! That's the one.
I’d love some help with coording maidens tutu doll jsk in either the white or pink colorway! Need some inspo
>>10519468I would go soft and light. Mint, lavender, sage green, dusty blue, navy, black, tan, and wine could all work as accents. Let me know if you would like to see a specific color
>>10519486Thanks! Lavender and wine would be greatly appreciated
>>10519073>>10519080Thanks anons. I've been struggling to make it work for me but a corset belt and a makeup change sounds like they could be the key.
Baby's first coord. I worry that looking too casual with hime ends up coming off as ita and half-assed. Do I need to go more OTT?
>>10521383I would go for a more simplistic long sleeve blouse. The crown is OTT so you'll need to add more accessories on ur head to balance it out. Since you have bears in ur print, a cute set of bear ears would go lovely with this.
>>10521383for what it's worth if you're going to do a white blouse I totally recommend balancing it out with some white leg wear. having all the light colors on top and then dark colors on the bottom is unbalanced. id suggest tejajamilla tights from etsy or something but it looks like she's closed for now :/
Can anyone help me coord this in a "royal" way, but without brown and not too much red? I kinda like it for the british/royal vibes, but I have zero interest buying chocolate pieces again.
>>10521575I'd pick up the navy, offwhite and gold and go with crown motifs and sweet classic styling
>>10519652Sorry, I rarely check this hellportal. More insta collages for you.I'm actually loving this dress. Very soft and fluffy...
>>10521628That’s a technically a nice idea anon, sadly the dress is much more dusty and warm irl and would horribly clash with lavender.
>>10521575If you're going for royal, then pull from the golds and whites and blues, with echarpes and rosettes and crowns. There are also brown items that aren't necessarily chocolate themed, like brown blouses or boots.
>>10521635Haha I guess I should have refreshed and then I would have saw >>10521614 who basically had the same idea. Ah, well.
>>10521632Ah, never seen it irl. RIP
>>10463709As an Acup I can verify you’re just being really ugly, petty and jealous right now. Or a male larper, either or.Big tiddies can, and if anything should be celebrated by those who have them.
does anyone have suggestions for Whipped Magic Switching JSK in black? i just got a super cheap set with the KC on Fril and i want to do it justice ^^
gulls ive got rosette collection in black (along with the matching beret) on its way and need help styling it. I'm still building my wardrobe so literally anything you can throw at me i'm willing to take and find pieces
Please excuse the terrible editing, I'm on my phone. Getting this for xmas, but it isn't my usual style. Need help styling it. Not pictured is the long sleeve white blouse with a peter pan collar, a blonde shoulder length wig, and a headbow in the same print of the dress. Couldn't decide between a collage or sloppily shooping it all together, so have both.
>>10523577Or since I have the pink shoes already, should I not try to shoehorn the red in and only have pink or mint accessories?
>>10523657i personally think the red could work beautifully if you limited the accessory colors to pink and bright red exclusively! you'd be hard pressed to find a "dusty" red that matches the stock photo. i would suggest red footwear, a red beret, pink blouse, and opaque socks with a pink x mint or pink x red design. the headwear, brooch, and socks you've picked may "underwhelm" the coord. this dress does look difficult to coordinate with bright pastels, so you should opt into muted pinks rather than baby pinks. last thing is that red jewelry would really balance out the harsher colorblocking you're looking to do. sorry for sperging and word vomit but i hope it helps!
>>10518837I hate men.
>>10523688I hate people who reply to soup trolling weeks later but i guess we're all here, huh
>>10523685That does help thank you!
new to lolita here and I just got this dress of wunderwelt. how should I coord it?
Would appreciate some help finding a blouse that'd be a good match with this dress, in black please
>>10528557I don't have a specific blouse, but maybe a black or blue sheer blouse similar to the sleeves of moi meme moite's Cross OP?
