Why dont you guys just go in whiteface?
>>10447688>starts thread with a white-passing cosplayer...Alright
>>10447696She's mixedShe's not white passing if you saw her, you can tell in other pics
>>10447705a bunny made for breeding
>>10447698What is this image about?
>>10447718Nayrt but I think she was that gamer caught canoodling with minors at smash tournaments?
>>10447720wtf is wrong with smash???
>>10447721The issue iirc as someone relayed to me was that she was "smashing" the minors at the smash tournaments.
>>10447726Anywhere there are kids there will be pedos.I never realized she was a cosplayer or black. Ironically she looks terrible compared to the other cosplays itt.
>>10447726Because it's a kids game
>>10447691Holy shit this is cringe.
>>10447688anyone gonna post some dudes or is this just another thinly veiled coomer thread?
>>10447691Wow shes hot
>>10447696>White Passing >clearly blackOh America you’re so funny.
all these posts with official art next to the cosplayer are giving me cancer.
Why do most black cosplayers do the same low effort thotty shots and then get mad they don't get attention? Slutty bikini shots are a dime a dozen so no duh talented people in armor get more followers.
>>10448600It's not that it's black women specifically, it's female cosplayers in general. Popular cosplays are skimpy cosplays because men are horndogs and you're going to see them more than the non lewd ones. Several posts here are most likely made by someone with a fetish.
>>10448615Straight Crippin' cuh!
>>10448611>>10448612>>10448613>>10448614>>10448615I thought this was a cosplay thread. These aren't cosplay.
>>10448636Nvr mind--I saw the ()
>>10448690All cosplay doesn't matter until black cosplay matters
>>10448600All cosplayers are like that dumbass not just black ones.
>>10448948True but black cosplayers get the built in racist excuse when called on their low effort shit. I remember one who all but used bedsheets for her crappy takes and no one could say she looked bad cause it was "You're just racist against a fat black cosplayer." She even got a few 'cosplay articles' written about her so called struggle.
>>10449044Female cosplayers that aren't black would still use the fat or sexism excuse. Dudes who aren't popular would blame the thots. People who are thots blame men for not being sex positive, people who cover up blame the men for only wanting to see skin. There is no end to people finding a reason to explain away how unpopular they are.People thirsty for efame and insecure with themselves will use any excuse or find anyone to blame that may help them feel better about the fact that they are irrelevant.Everyone does that shit, not just black people. You just want to complain about them in particular or maybe just don't realize how desperate for attention most people posting their cosplays online clearly are.
>>10449061they're talking about when fans use that excuse, not the cosplayers themselves.
>>10448615>>10448627Crip lolitas steppin' up. Where the Bloods at?
>>10449061>Female cosplayers that aren't black would still use the fat or sexism excuse. Dudes who aren't popular would blame the thots. People who are thots blame men for not being sex positive, people who cover up blame the men for only wanting to see skin. There is no end to people finding a reason to explain away how unpopular they are. This is the truth and people refuse to see it. That and some men and women are just assholes
>>10449157Ayrt and yeah, it's the same shit, everyone just has a different angle for their excuse or aggression/blame, whether it's the fan or the cosplayer. Some people are incapable of accepting or lifting themselves/the people they like up without trying to put down others in the process and this just bleeds into any niche community.
>>10447843What happens when a white person cosplays a Black Panther or Luke Cage?
>>10449352i've seen a few white black panther cosplayers and no one seemed to care much
>>10447696>white-passingwtf does that mean
>>10450050It means you aren't white (or at least not 100% white) but you could pass as being white. Hence, white-passing.
>>10450050when people think you are white unless you tell them otherwise. deltoro here for example is not white, but anyone who looks at him would think he is.
>>10450051Wouldn't it be better to cosplay a black superhero then, rather than a slutty white one?
>>10450061I love it when a cosplayer completely gives off that Jojo vibe despite not having the build. It's like an alternate character design.
>>10450114It would be, but chances are she probably doesn't know any. To be honest, I don't know any either but I'm not into cape comics. Just a weeb and there are plenty of options for black cosplayers, thot or not in anime and manga compared to like, popular western cartoon/comic media. >>10450050>>10450089There were actually some white passing black people in the past that protected themselves by calling themselves white.
>>10450152Storm and Valkyrie come to mind immediately. Both from huge, popular movie franchises.
>>10450155Oh right, Storm. When I look up Valkyrie, it looks like she was a white woman first and recently was made black in 2018 which is a trend I'm seeing and not particularly fond of. Are those really the only ones? Bumblebee is another one I just remembered. Other than Storm, these don't seem to be very well known popular characters aside from the new rendition of Valkyrie.
>>10447696White passing doesn't mean white, and she's clearly POC
>>10450171I don't think you know what white passing means. see >>10450089
>>10450173I know exactly what white passing means and she isn't it. Her skin color is obviously not that of a white person.
>>10450163Yeah there's not a lot. Nonwhite superheroes of either gender are rare. I can't think of a single Hispanic superhero and only 2 Asian ones. It's kinda sad. Why does the race swapping bother you? It's usually done with minor side characters so no one minds much.
>>10450172>>10450175can you stop repeating this over and over without deets?
>>10450181it's upthread, idiot.
>>10450184a vague statement is not proof, retard. let your vendetta go
one of my favorite vintage cosplay photos ever
>>10450408Love this one
>>10450180Race swapping bothers me because it feels like a pity move. I understand why they do it, but I'd rather a new character be made than piggybacking off the existing IP of another character. I know original characters exist, but they don't get as much advertising or rarely written as well. Usually written in a way that says "HEY LOOK THIS CHARACTER IS BLACK, BLACK HEROS MATTER EVERYONE, LOOK HOW WOKE I AM." instead of just writing a cool/fun hero that happens to also be black. Also give me more black magical girls or black girls in frilly, cute outfits and not just skin tight titty costumes.
>>10450408this is literal perfection
>>10450408have this saved as cosplay inspo
>>10450174If you look downthread at the pic of her with the pink and blue hair tho she looks white as fuck
>>10450163Idk about for women main characters but Static Shock and many of the villains and side characters from his series were black or other PoC. It was a pretty cool show/the Static comics were cool too
>>10447691I like this.
Why are black people being segregated to one thread?
>>10450960Watch out, the jannies will delete your post and warn you for pointing out racism.
>>10450972>>missed anon's point
