Is it safe to buy bed sheets from aliexpress I saw some cute hello kitty ones that were pink and red but I’m scared if it’s dangerous since I heard buying anything green from aliexpress can be harmful

I'm moving out of my apartment soon for my own health (apartment staff has come in and trashed my items for fun, run a bunch of scams, so on) And I will have a 2 bedroom to freely decorate at will! I was thinking if someone could help me with inspiration collages (do as many as you want which could be 0 or all of them) based on these things:>Bedroom 1:Ocean themed. Calming. >bedroom 2: Early 2000's themed hobby room. My partner and I collect old toys, and I craft with resin and sculpey. >kitchen, and bathroomI have no clue, so feel free to freestyle this. Kawaii animals maybe? Sanrio characters like Gudetama or Cinnamoroll? Feel free to free style as you wish>living roomIts a gamer household, with lots of gamer(tm) items no clue how to decorate it, but storage is important.

Made a collage of all the items that caught my eye for my future room. Everything here is from Aliexpress, some items recommended by fellow gulls. I'm gonna make a collage for non-Aliexpress stuff too.
>>10434798Actual furniture.
>>10434798I have the rainbow lamp anon, it's slightly darker colors irl but super cute! One annoyance however is the USB cable is black while the base is white. Unfortunately the carved(?) Sailor Moon and Shin-chan lamp apparently comes with the back of the transparent panel being thin cardboard or wood, not actually transparent like the pictures. At least the reviews I saw of one or two listings said so. Another bummer is trying to order mirrors and shelving from ali is a shitshow since 98% of reviewers say theirs arrive broken.>pic sort of related
>>10434811Thanks for your input anon, I'll keep it all in mind. It's not like I'm gonna buy everything on the list anyway, I'll definitely do a stricter selection, but it's good to know especially about the mirrors.

>>10434810There's so much from romapri! I was looking at hopefully ordering from them when I move in a few months, but I guess it's kind of up in the air since the shipping situation's still going on (I'm in the US). Still there's a bunch of pieces I'd like to have for my room eventually. Do you mind if I ask if you're planning on buying big furniture pieces from romapri? Are you going to be sea shipping? Sorry for all these questions at once, I cant find any reviews online for people buying furniture from them to be sent overseas.

>>10434929I am definitely going to order big pieces from romapri, although not everything I posted on the collage. I'm mostly interested in the clothes rack, and I'll probably settle with the cheapest, slowest shipping method since it'll cost an arm to ship. I'm located in France at the moment but I'm planning to move to Canada, so the fees should be more or less the same as the US.

Roompic is one of my favourite places to look for room inspo. It was mentioned on Kawaii International a few years ago when they did a cute room episode. I like the site because the rooms often mention things like room size and sometimes contain direct links to where you can buy the items. For kitchen inspo I recommend looking at the Swimmer tag. The Fancy tag is one of my favourite and contains pastel/ott sweet style rooms.https://roomclip.jp/tag/416109Pic related it's from this account. https://roomclip.jp/myroom/863028
>>10436227*Roomclip not roompic.

What do you guys do to find the cute stuff on Aliexpress? Even if I directly copy an item's name, it won't show up in the search. Is there any language/key terms that yields the best results?
Found this on roomclip after >>10436227 anon's suggestion. It looks pretty cute and simple (like n furniture with unusual cutouts), items I'm recognizing from taobao, and in one of the girl's photo listings she says the pink stripes on the wall is made from masking tape.>>10436621I saw a review where someone used tenso, but I imagine the fees would be huge for furniture since they calculate based on weight iirc. I'd probably check around ss with whichever one offers seamail or something (probably FromJapan will do it)Also, patiently waiting for romapri anon to come back! I'd love to hear more about anyone's experiences with their products...>>10436909I find one cute listing and jump around from there like browse the rest of the shop's listings. If you like the cute stuff other anons have posted in the thread you can do it, or probably try keywords like 'cute' + 'girl' + 'cartoon'/'japanese'/'anime' + item of choice like shelf etc.
Anyone have anything for very small room spaces? City apartment life is the anti-queen sized bed.
This might not be the right place for this, but can anyone recommend me some shops that specialize in gothic interior decor? Anything verging into “punk” is fine, too. I know of a few western stores (usually UK based) but most of them are more clothing centric. Any help is definitely appreciated!
>>10434798Has anybody done anything like this but for gothic rooms?

>>10438788Ayrt, and TJ/TK Maxx is a great idea. I shop at a lot of online UK retailers but I'm actually from the US. What is Tiger? Or am I just an idiot.
>>10438827Tiger/Flying Tiger is a Danish brand that only has physical stores, it mainly sells home decor. Last Halloween they sold these doll planters for £5 each.
Requesting some rooms with dark walls please! Not necessarily gothic, I'm moving into my apartment Aug 1 and the walls are a dark grey, does anyone have any suggestions what colours decor wise I should aim for that would make the rooms "pop"?
Can I get some closet inspo? Or maybe pics ft. normie clothes for storage ideas?
>>10440250They're not perfect so I don't want to clog the thread with it, but here's a few that have ideas in them that I like.
>>10439679I don't have pics, but I do have very dark grey walls in my bedroom, and love how rich petrols and deep wine reds look with the colour. Desaturated mustard yellows might also work.
I tried making a collage for one of these here>>10433791but I'm missing stuff (mainly tables, shelves, and crafting storage) any suggestions as to things that could fit?
I'm thinking about rearranging my bedroom, and maybe putting my bed in a corner. I'd especially like to have one or two cute photo corners for taking outfit selfies. I have a ring light tripod so I am not constrained only to my closet mirror, but it would be nice if mirror selfies were possible. Right now it's a little bit awkward with the foot of my bed being so close to my mirror, but it's not the end of the world
>>10441263 my room is in shambles from konmari but here are a couple of snaps of my furniture and stock photo of my bedding to give an idea of the decorating styleAny advice for room layout or anything is appreciated
Does anybody know what keywords to use on AliExpress to find decent goth decor? I literally tried searching “gothic decor” and it made me confirm my age so it could show me bdsm equipment.

anons, if i buy from romapri (i am from europe), will i have to pay taxes after getting an item or are taxes included in price?
>>10444370You mean import, right? They can't include taxes in the items' prices for every single nation in the world now, can they? Also, if the taxes would be included in the prices, the taxes would not be taxes. You pay taxes to a government, not to a furniture company.Customs + taxes are usually paid upon import, and have nothing to do with the seller.
>>10444371If you mean Japanese taxes, they should be included as long as the price says "税込"I was thinking you mean import taxes because you specified where you're from. Anyone has to pay the standard Japanese sales taxes, no matter where you're from. It's just the import taxes that are different.

>>10478691No.
>>10477172Chill out spazLearn to take a joke
>>10466135Don't hang items that can possibly be folded. You can also take pictures of everything you own on a flat lay that way even if things are folded and stored away you don't forget what you have and you can browse the photos to make outfits
>>10479957what about folding storage?
For everyone longing for a romapuri hanging closet in the US, brylanehome has a good alternative that's fairly cute. It's really sturdy and it's on sale at the moment. https://www.brylanehome.com/products/5-tier-metal-closet-with-hanging-rod/1024136.html#cgid=BH_Furniture_Storage_Closet_And_Space_Savers&start=1
>>10488201thank you so much for this anon!
>>10488196...like, a tallboy or fabric drawers on shelves?
>>10444344I swear I've seen your desk in streamer rate threads and shit.If that's true, just stop dude. It looks fine and you know it. Stop looking for approval.
>>10460055"Tell you the truth" about what, exactly? That they judge you for your completely harmless hobby? If your friend feels so negatively about your hobby that they need to comment on it, they're not a good friend.
>>10460055my friends are allowed to not like my dolls but wont stay long if they make negative comments every chance they get
requesting mori inspo for a room if possible? i guess it borders on normie plant rooms but looking for the specific vintage mix used in mori style

Any suggestions on light strips that aren’t super expensive but not complete shite? Thought about getting the Corsair ones to add backlighting to some shelves but they’re awfully pricey compared to how few and short the strips are.
>>10492639No, it doesn't look fine.>>10444341Yeah, dude, your curtains look fucking horrendous if no one was giving you the honesty you needed....And the hanging shelves on the walls above the computer look way too small for the desk. The curtains are really, really fucking bad though. You're not wrong.

>>10495164Just get some cheap ones that can change color and shit then buy a diffuser and stuff them in there and it’ll look nice
Posting here since the room wear thread died off. Gelato Pique has a collab with Animal Crossing.>https://gelatopique.com/page/feature/201116_doubutsunomori/?plan=GP201116doubutsuno-mori
>>10434933I love that room
>>10463831To anyone who's looking for pretty accessories and jewelry storage: i can really recommend the Jack Cube design shelf. It's not expensive and available on amazon.Pic related is my own shelf. I also made a rack for my hairbands out of fabric, satin band and two rolls of kitchen paper.
The brand Misako is talking about seems kinda cutehttps://coloryplanet.booth.pm/
>>10502919Thanks
>>10440841anybody got any links for these rainbow storage things or something similar?
>>10434931Anon.. are you small? Legit asking because I was looking into it and it's says "PotterBarnKids'
>>10524094Rich kids get their king size bed shit at pbk
>>10498606How do they attach all that shit to the ceiling? Anyone got any tips/experience?
>>10524182Pin tacks. Honestly i use them with my current lace canopy for my bed, snice the bed frame doesnt have bars to support the fabric, so i just pin it into my ceiling. Of course you have to pin it more depending on how heavy whatever you're hanging up is.Also does anyone know if Aliexpress a good place to get cheap but cute looking victorian / rococo picture frames? All the places i look elsewhere are like 17$ per 5x7 frame and i have so much art i want to hang up but i'd spend over 700$ most likely in framing it all.
>>10524198I haven’t found ones I like there but I recently got some nice Victorian looking gold-painted wood frames at dollar tree, way cheaper than the Ali prices.
>>10433791this is the apartment from Nana
Does anyone have mauve bedroom inspo without black furniture?
>>10524381Watch or read nana again, it may look similar with bedroom at either end of the apartment and open kitchen living area but this isn’t the same.

>>10502919I've always wanted something to store my headbows that makes them easy to see without being out all the time and potentially getting dusty. I kinda like this idea anon, sorta wish there was a version in a box or something though. Thanks for sharing! If anyone could share their headbow storage I'd love that! Mine are all lined up in a box so they're a little hard to see and the box tends to get a little messy from time to time.
>>10524257Thanks i havent been able to find any near me BUT if any Anons have At Home in their area or shop via their online site they have some cute black Victorian inspired frames, i bought all 4 at my local branch and going to buy more when restocked.
>>10530973You could try getting a headband display rack. They're usually meant for stores but aliexpress seems to have a few options
>>10531027Oh this is neat, thanks anon, I'll look into these!
>>10530973Display rack and a clear box?
i want chaos
>>10433791You will never be a woman.
>>10531318Understandable, but this looks like a disgusting fire hazard hikkikomori dungeon in a dinky Akihabara alley way.
>>10531318Cramped spaces with computers must be hot as fuck
>>10435068This might be a silly question, but how do you dust these deco'd out lace shelves? Just tap it with a stick? For that matter what is the best way to dust stuffed animals? This is cute, but I never feel like I can get them dusted properly.
>>10531318I would lose my mind if I had to live in that room.
>>10531541I pat my stuffed animals to dislodge the dust a bit, but if they have dense fur I recommend lightly combing it with a cat hair brush. Then wipe all over with a microfibre cloth, and follow up with a damp towel if needed.

Gothic room inspo? Bonus points if there's oddities like skulls/wet specimens without looking tacky
Does ali have any good pink keyboards for pc’s, wallpaper, and/or floor mats like the puzzle ones
>>10433704I see so many things. The meaty uncomfortable kinds.
>>10492909I love this little sitting area, tables with that curved leg always make me smile. My coffee table is in a similar style and I'm restoring some sitting room chairs and a couch to match it.

>>10535503
>>10535503>>10535508These are lovely, thank you!
>>10535503where does one even get a vanity stool like that? I'm sincerely envious
>>10444341i'd add a new fresh coat of paint in a better color and maybe make one wall an accent color if you're feeling bold. Id also get rid of your blinds and go with some nice roll down fabric ones and maybe replace your curtains while you're at it depending on what blinds you go with
>>10495164the corsair ones are kinda shitty. they arent bright and you have to deal with the cable issues. just get some govee smart led strip lights off amazon. you can control them with your phone, 16.4ft for $24.
>>10536007i bought some stuff from westhouse on rakuten and you could request these colours.
