What’s the craziest panel you have ever seen at a convention? Mine was when I saw a dude’s dick get licked on stage
>>
>>10392749
What was the panel though
>>
>>10392749
Explain!Now!
>>
>>10392978
Truth or Dare 18+
Audience picks the questions and dares for other audience members to do
Lot of them were "do x while showing your tits" or "do gay shit"
>>
>>10392749
I've heard fables of a "secret panel" at AWA where people do trivia while sitting on vibrators and get naked on stage and stuff
>>
>>10392749
None so far, i only started attending panels last year

How did you hear about it?
>>

Through the grapevine, and its been talked about here before.
ctrl+f "secret panel" in the archive and the first result under the post i just made is an AWA thread talking about it.
>>
>>10393138
That one was actually pretty mild compared to the year before were they were shooting dildos out of a cannon and almost hit the camera operator.
>>

They had cameras at the “secret” panel?

The fuck dildo was it that it needed a shipping container and where is this beast now?

Some guy in only a jock strap won it by capturing the greased up naked guy running through the room.

I remember the hentai voice acting panel, but it ended up with a bunch of spergs who had all the charisma to play the girl, but ended up going "ue...ue...ue..." while Kaho had to spot coach them how to make dick sicking noises, which they promply half hearted to where she was doing both male and female.

>>10399555
not him but I remember being told it was some dude who had the obvious intention of calling lolicons pedophiles, but never had the balls to either say it or even remotely imply it beyond the panel title with just an hour of pussyfooting.
>>
>>10399555
What I don't get is how he expected to make a whole panel out of that. It's not like you can have any real dialog or debate because nobody in their right mind is gonna show their face in public and argue against it, no matter how much they disagree with the statement.
>>
>>10392749
This duck is CUTE as fuck.
>>
>>10392749
Comedy sketch thing. One guy fell off the stage and starting shouting and screaming "nigger". Spent 5 minutes gathering his thoughts while the rest kept going and he joined back in. Every now and then someone would slap his arm and he would start shouting no no words and it was a good time. Turns out he did break his arm when he fell too. He wasn't banned because they were back next year

Went to a fiction writing panel and it was hosted by some girl who wrote BDSM fabrics. During questions one guy asked her how he should write a scene about a guy and a girl taking a bath together. It wasn't all that crazy just weird and awkward.

Didn't see this personally but wasn't there a manga author would invite people up to get bondage tied? I remember it being like a totally normal dude this was just his bizarre hobby he mastered
>>
>>10420800
nabeshin. he apparently does it in JAVs but it's a secret from his family.
>>
>>10392749
A-Kon had this panel one year where everyone put their favorite fetish on their forehead, then the host would pick someone to get on stage and people would shout various puns and shit about the fetish that the person picked that would then get written on the person that was picked. Once they'd run out of room they'd start undressing so that there's more skin to write on. It was cringe though because two of the three or four fetishes that were picked were BBC and cuckolding, but when you go to a panel like that I guess it's to be expected. FWIW I put "long hair" as mine.

IDK if you count raves as "panels" but one year at a different con my friend and I were vibing there and this furry gets in front of us whose fursuit smelled like they 100% shat in it. it wasn't really crazy as much as it was gross.

I have a few more but none of them top the fetish panel one. That panel kinda made me not want to go to the more crazy 18+ panels anymore, most of the ones I (willingly) go to now are more discussions and less shouting. That and for the past few years I went to the con raves instead so I end up missing out on most of the fucked up panels.
>>
>>10420801
The same Nabeshin that did the Excel Saga anime?
>>
>>10420806
yes. my friends and i chilled with him a few times when he came to my local con. he is pretty cool. even if you don't speak japanese.

Which cons does he usually do? I've only been to Texas cons so if he skips Texas then I'm out of luck unless I go out of state next year

For some reason this kind of turns me on and I hate it.
>>
1. Pin the tail on the donkey but instead of a donkey it was dmmd characters and instead of a tail it was a dick

2. Voice actors reading bad fanfic of their characters, it was 90% hentai fic and they occasionally invited volunteers from the audience to fill some rolls

3. Cosplay burlesque is always a gamble. I’ve seen some get carried away and just go full nude like it’s a goddamn strip club
>>
Yaoi panel at Youmacon and a bunch of guys had to suck the cream out of a twinkie. First one to do it, wins
>>
>>10434363
Fuck, I need to start going to burlesque panels.
>>
>>10434440
Just keep in mind that full nude is not the norm. I’ve been to cosplay burlesque shows where almost everyone was amazing and I’ve been to ones where some performers didn’t take anything off. Which reminds me, there was one bizarre performance I saw where the cosplay left the stage wearing MORE clothes than she came on stage with
>>
>>10434454
Oh yeah I figured as much, that reply was mostly just meant to be funny. (Though part of me really does like the idea because for some reason I find it really hot when girls choose of their own volition to get naked in situations where it's an option but not a requirement.)
>>
>>10434440
most cosplay burlesque is done by fat flabby girls
>>
>>10434489
I figured that was likely the case too, but I don't really care, it's the action and situation I find attractive and it's not like I'm actually gonna bang them.

>>
>>10392749
I know it’s really tame compared to the rest of the thread, but I’ll always remember when some panelists weren’t present, so they just gave the empty time slot to some guy who had a stall advertising and taking funds for their reptile shelter or some other shit. He made a presentation in like half an hour, and all the time while he was talking he had two snakes just moving around his computer and arms freely. It was surprisingly interesting.

This isn’t extreme as the ones you guys talk about but it was a lot of fun.

It was a fan panel for Doki Doki Literature Club, Three Monikas and a Buffsuki asked the crowd to pick a list of words to make a mad-libs “poem”. Like the game.
Some words listed: “Girugamesh”, “Candy corn”, “Hentai”. I remember then there was a singing portion where it’s DDLC parodies. Under the Sea was changed to DDLC. It honestly felt like a real classroom in there. I remember they gave out OC Monika stickers and the Buffsuki actually arm-wrestled a con-goer.

They had an LDR panel that explains sexting tips and shit and the panel was “RECOMMENDED 14+”

Why are American cons so fucking weird? I'm from Asia, what the fuck is happening in the West?
>>
>>10448966
you're hearing about the weirdest shit from years and years of cons across multiple continents. if you were interested you could probably find just as weird/gross stuff in any subset of cons including in Asia
>>
>>10449024
nah. asian cons are just trade shows more like pax. thry don't have panels like this.
>>
>>10448966
>im from asia
God forbid people have fun
>>
>>10434328
Notice none of them are cosplayers. Just tourists to anime conventions who get coked up and go to raves. This is the decline of cons and cosplay as we know it.
>>
>>10448966
why would anyone from asia be on here
>>
>>10449164
Because America isn’t the only country, burger tard
>>
>>10449296
asians have their own websites for shit like this and most of them are better than 4chan
>>
>>10449024
Everytime I hear about an American con there's always some weird fucking shit happening. Not just creeps doing weird stuff on their own, but things actually endorsed by the con in panels and shit.

Asia doesn't have this shit. I guarantee you you can't find any weird gross shit happening in any cons that's actually recognisable. Asians actually have moral standards, unlike burgerfags.

>>10449050
The fact this thread exists makes it not 'just fun', fucking creepy burgerfags.

>>10449164
Cause I wanted to see what burgerfags are up to.
>>
>>10449303
if you're asian why do you type exactly like an american? you must be from somewhere like philippines or singapore where they're forced to learn english, and those countries definitely don't have good morals lol
>>
>>10449304
Typing decent English is typing like an American now?

At the very least, cons have the sense to not let dumbasses run their own panels on fucking weird shit.
>>
>>10449309
this.
>>
>>10449304
to be so fucking stupid to have a thought like this
typical white trash
>>
>>10449303
>Everytime I hear about an American con there's always some weird fucking shit happening.
but thats true for everything. people talk about weird things in general. No one is gonna talk much about a normal day where nothing eventful happened.
>>
>>10449363
At Asian cons, weird shit only happens between attendees. Like creeps and weirdos. But they're never endorsed by the actual convention organisers themselves, and those that do never have significant guests.

All of our panels only involve actual anime by people actually in the industry, not some dumb fucker who thinks that "let's do a sex/cringey discussion/wtv panel".

American panels just let any Tom Dick and Harry put their weird fetish on display for everyone and endorse it.
>>
>>10449364
umm, ok
>>
>>10449364
Not all American cons are the same. Some are more industry-oriented and don't really have panels like that. Others are just big fan gatherings and have all kinds of weird shit.

For what it's worth I've also been going to all sorts cons in the US for almost 20 years and I've never seen anything like that at a panel either, only at a few particularly degenerate room parties.
>>
>>10449366
Fair enough. I just find it extremely weird that such things could even happen at a con with a significant following, even if it was for a con that's mostly fan gatherings over industry related.
>>
>>10449366
most of them are the same. Volunteer run, fan panels with a tiny bit of industry content.
>>
>>10448961
Nayrt but unless it's an eerie coincidence, I definitely remember being at that panel during Sakura-con
>>
>>10449309
I loved comiket and anime japan. It skipped the retarded panels and overpriced merch sold at 80% markups. Only thing i hate is the Americans that cone because they don’t know how to wear deodorant in a different country either.
>>
>>10449426
Yeah, agreed.

One of the worst things that has come out of American cons is the stereotype that conventions are full of smelly sweaty fat dudes who never take a shower. I've never had this experience in any con in Asia, and anyone who fucking reeks is pretty quickly isolated and asked to leave or atleast shunned.
>>
>>10449426
Um they're clearly using their pheromones to attract a kawaii hawt idol cosplay gf!
>>
>>10449303

>>
>>10449364
>All of our panels only involve actual anime by people actually in the industry, not some dumb fucker who thinks that "let's do a sex/cringey discussion/wtv panel".

Conventions are for fans to congregate and celebrate. Corporations being the center of cons ruined the Convention experience.
>>
>>10449364
>All of our panels only involve actual anime by people actually in the industry,
I bet they won't even let you ask questions or any kind of interaction, cuck

So is this a North American thing or not? I mostly hear debauchery stories/infamy from America, but I wonder how it really is.
How is it in UK? Regions of Europe? Asia? South America? How do they all compare to eachother?

Genuinely curious. I don't have much experience (thanks corona, ruined my world con travelling plans), but the most infamy I hear is from US, Canada lumped in and a tiny bit from UK.
>>
>>10450035
First of all Stop acting like these isolated events are commonplace
>>
>>10450003
someone already said it but they are like pax. you get tons of free stuff, they have A-list guests, there's no sjw trash like gender tags or appropriation panels, you get to see tons of new stuff, and they cost like $5 usd for each day.
>>
>>10450039
>there's no sjw trash like gender tags or appropriation panels

Imagine being so scared of non-industry people

its not like you're FORCED to attend these panels
>>
>>10450040
no one is scared of non industry people, anime cons in the us are just boring nobodies trying to get attention, that's what fanclubs are for.
>>
>>10450035

Calm down retard. American cons have tons of industry stuff it's just also all shit. Funimation sbd and crunchy shill their overpriced garbage, dealers room is full of bootleg crap, and they cost tons of money. Other nerd cons aren't even like this.
