Last thread reached its limit >>10373417As mori girl, dolly kei and the like haven't been popular enough lately to keep own threads alive, why not a general thread for all those natural vintage styles that often overlap to begin with.>Mori styles and brands guide (japanese): https://woman.mynavi.jp/article/190828-8/
>>10383388I checked out that religious site gulls linked in the previous post and while their stuff for kids is cute, the customer gallery of the adult clothing isn't very promising. I wish there were western places that sold vintage inspired/prarie designs without being all wrapped in that tradfem nonsense. All the focus is on modesty and not actually looking cute or flattering.
>>10383392for real. i looked into it too and just didn't really want to give my money to trads.
>>10383421if anyone wants comfortable prarie looking roomwear. check out The 1 for U, they seem to be a UK company but many of their item is available on amazon prime.Their stuff is actually cute and comfortable, and not supporting trads..https://www.amazon.com/stores/page/9E849AD3-B128-4F11-AEC9-5CA7E334C9F1
>>10383392Not sure if Russia counts as Western, but Little Women Atelier makes cute old-fashioned clothes and isn’t tradfem (at least not more than Russians usually are). They have an Etsy shop and pieces are $100-$200
>>10383392Free People has some nice layering pieces but they're so expensive
Son De Flor is pricey but might have piece gulls are looking forhttps://www.sondeflor.com/collections/new-arrivals
>>10383635>>10383433...do you even wear jfashion
>>10383799tell that to the people who suggested that freaky amish tradfem store last thread. I'm just offering up better suggestions than that.
This thread is giving me the "mother of 8 from a communist country" vibe. It's traumatic, please don't go there gulls.
>>10383820Fine, here are some jfashion brands that make the same kind of style. (Anon was asking for western alternatives that aren’t made for/by brainwashed women in doomsday bunkers)Seraphim:
>>10383392Some of those customer photos remind me of Gypsy Rose's mother in The Act. I do appreciate that the makers add pockets though.>>10383393I want to live near a forest.
>>10383392Sure but they will probably be more expensive
Gulls, it's happening: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8323779/Women-showing-foraged-meals-frolicking-fields-donning-gingham-dresses.html
>>10392774I'll hold my breath until I see dresses like itt in retail
>>10392774Cottagecore is normie stuff
>>10393009I would be very glad if normies dressed like that but they don't
>>10392774>>10392788>>10393009>>10393273I've seen shit like that in primark and zara during the sping/summer months.
SM2 got a nice limited release atm
>>10383496Free People is lovely and not that much! They’re about the same price as normal jfash brands and on sale/secondhand you can get a good deal
>>10393283People might buy it, but they don’t wear it. My sadly normie sister is an example. Her closet is full of adorable dresses she buys on impulse but she lives in sweatpants and t-shirts.
>>10396888I always wondered what happened to the cuter or more out there things I see in normie stores, since they’re apparently being sold but I never see anyone wear them.
Does anyone know of any good resources for someone who wants to get into natural kei? When I see pics from pink house I think they look so cute, but browsing closetchild and yahoo japan everything looks kind of ugly. I don't know whether I'm having trouble visualizing how things would look actually coorded or just looking at the wrong items. Also, if any of you wear mori, where do you get your clothes now that the fashion is dead?
>>10401750Etsy shops that focus on vintage pieces.
>>10393009I've been thinking this. Cottagecore is the western normie version of mori/jfash styles. If only they knew they're not the first.
anyone heard of https://quadrifolie.thebase.in/ before? they seem to have a lot of basics
>>10401750The point of Pink House is to layer pieces, so if you're just looking at a single piece on a hanger in a CC photo, you're not getting the whole picture.Think more creatively.
Crisp is a good shop worth checking outhttps://crisp-onlineshop.com/
This is a good thread
I know there is/was a Mori Kei Discord server that died out due to inactivity, but would anyone be interested in starting a new one, perhaps including more styles, so we have more activity? Especially with the Vintage crowd, I am sure we could set up a busier server.
