Anyone shipped a package with superbuy's tax free line? any issues?
Anyone know MoonRiver's url? It's not in the spreadsheet and google isn't helping
>>10378845By the way, is anyone else dealing with the image search taking several minutes or getting stuck entirely?
Waited three months for a costume to be finished and checked in on my cart today to find out I had gotten like $15 in storage fees for my other items from January... when my costume is just now being shipped to my SS.Guess I'm doing two orders. Opted for SAL just because all the conventions are cancelled anyway.
>>10377202I just added a ton of shops to the suggestions tab, sorry for all the work I'm giving you!
>>10378867I'm having a similar issue with it, it goes through but won't let me change the focal area on the photo or choose a different category anymore. I'm logged into my taobao account so idk what's causing the issues.
>>10378867>>10379117I've been having issues like that for a while now, seems like a bug.
I don't know if I'm a moron or what, but how do you find out the total dress price for something that only requires a deposit on preorder? https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.1-c.w4023-18200004731.7.69f6b05dnTLWEu&id=614997005628I'm trying to order from a SS but they require you to put the final cost of the dress and not just the pre-order price when you order, and I can't find it.
>>10379486It's more than likely somewhere in this.
Ok I'm trying to find Advertising Balloon's store but all the results I get are balloons for advertising, help
>>10379599>>10379634Thank you so much!
>>10379486>>10379599Not saying this to troll or make a scene, just genuine discussion, would there be an argument to say this isn’t technically lolita since its inspired by historical fashion? I’m tempted to pre order it regardless, just had a thought.
>>10379734The thing with fashion styles, even the more strongly defined ones, is that there's no hard line separating what is and isn't part of that style. Sure, 99 percent of the time, you can see an outfit and say "that's lolita" or "that's not lolita", but sometimes you find pieces that toe the line. If you want to get technical, lolita has a lot of historical inspirations, including victorian and rococo styles. This dress is based on Marie Antoinette's chemise a la reine, which places it squarely in the rococo era, and lots of lolita dresses are inspired by rococo, so from that standpoint it can be lolita. On the other hand, many lolita brands have produced dresses that aren't necessarily lolita, like Surface Spell and their medieval velvet gowns. So ultimately, it comes down to styling and personal opinion.
>>10379734Quite a lot of classic is late victorian/edwardian inspired, so I don't see how that would make it not lolita?
>>10379734>would there be an argument to say this isn’t technically lolita since its inspired by historical fashion?Something can be inspired by historical fashion and still be lolita. If you look at the specs, the dress isn't long enough (in sleeves or skirt length) to be a proper historical fashion replica. It's in the vein of classical lolita, in my opinion, especially if you style it a certain way.
I'm pretty new to this and automatic translations aren't the most reliable but I think I missed the preorder window on this JSK, can anyone confirm and/or recommend similar pieces? https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z0k.7385961.1997985097.d4918997.1b7a68a6m0epbI&id=598319490407&_u=t2dmg8j26111
>>10379751>the dress isn't long enough (in sleeves or skirt length) to be a proper historical fashion replicaanon, the page shows a painting with those sleeves. while i do think it's probably lolita, you don't seem to know about historical fashion either.
Does anyone have any troubleshooting steps to take for not being able to get your phone number verified? I've been trying with a google voice number.
>>10379943>while i do think it's probably lolita, you don't seem to know about historical fashion either. The sleeves of contemporary chemise a la reine gowns have longer proportions and are intended to end past the elbows. The sleeves on the linked gown barely hit the elbows. It's a chemise a la reine inspired gown, not a historical replica.
>>10379486I was going to say fuck it and pay the devilinspired inflated price but there's no way to pick a color and you can't add it to the cart, so... give a shopping service my business it is.
>>10379951Problem solved, was able to register with my real number instead of Google Voice.
>>10379687Pretty sure you're falling victim to bad translation, and are looking for the store Confession Balloon: https://shop128321089.taobao.com
>>10380012That seems to be the case, thank you! I was going off a devilinspired listing so there must have been a mistranslation on their part.
Is there a site or page that aggregates shopping service reviews?
>>10380206You're probably not going to get an answer for this, especially since this is a fairly new type of shipping method and with the corona fucking a lot of people, so I don't see the point of bumping. Just take word of the ss, they are likely more knowledgeable here.
Has anyone gotten a reply from Bodyline yet with what the options are if your package got returned to them due to prohibiting international shipping?
>>10379940>>10380019Is it not still under preorder, or I'm reading the translation wrong? Shipping will be 65 days after you order, I think?
>>10380215Hmm, I'll ask a SS about it
Recs for 100% cotton blouses? I mostly see silk or polyester.
>>10380213Why are you asking the taobao thread?
Spreadsheet anon here: When adding to the spreadsheet could you please try and write what kind of store it is instead of leaving it blank? It helps prevent wrong categorization. Thank you!
>>10380276Would it be possible to split "what does it sell" and style into two columns in the suggestions section? Since it's split that way in the Lolita sheet
>>10380286Good suggestion! I just added it in now! Also I've officially finished cleaning out all the dead links, yay!
>>10380289good job! I'll get to work on updating my suggestions
Anyone else have their Taobao packages marked as "returned to the sender for incomplete address"? I've never gotten this message on a package before, but I'm assuming that the postal system is extremely backed up due to corona and the packages are just delayed instead of having them be sent back.
>>10380268Aw crap sorry I didn't realize I'd posted in the wrong one. They're bookmarked one under another on my watch list.
>>10380367It means you or your ss fucked up somehow and an incomplete or incorrect address was written on your parcel.
>>10380367I had that happen before with mine even though I ordered with them probably 10 times a year. It was a huge hassle to get them to resend it without charging me to resend it because the problem was on their end. My account address was right and I paid with paypal so it matched my account address as well.Worst situation ever.
Anyone seen any good lolita cardigans/boleros around? I love this one from Magic Tea Party but it's sold out.
I wonder when Taobao will lift the animal term ban caused by Corona, really hard to find themed clothes when everything redirects to books.
Does Ririxing have a taobao store?
Newfag visiting from Aliex general. I hear Taobao is cheaper for large orders, but how large is large? How much would I expect to save? And is the SS spreadsheet up to date? Are there benefits to using an SS if I'm in the US?
>>10380852It's going to depend on a lot of factors, like the markup applied by the ali seller and the weight of your items. The SS sheet isn't super current (last update in 2017) but as far as I can tell most SS on it are still active. And yes, you will need a SS, most taobao stores only ship within China.
Has anyone seen more listings for these? Lizjill is out of stock in my size and it's killing me.
>>10377202Anybody has gotten cheap Sanrio replicas stuff stolen?I want to get some Sanrio home decor stuff, but I'm cheap and never bought from Taobao.
Is Taobao+SS usually cheaper than Aliexpress? Prices change so much between the two, jesus.
>>10381322See >>10380861 , it’s dependent on your weight and dimensions of your order.
>>10381300Why are you worried about things getting stolen?
>>10380852I'm the OP of this thread and I have included the link of the new spreadsheet that was started by a kind anon in the previous thread. They're working hard on removing dead links as well as add new stores. So yes, the spreadsheet is being updated.
>>10381383I'm only updating the store spreadsheet unfortunately. The shopping service spreadsheet I think is in fact out of date as >>10380861said. I was going to update that too but it seemed like too much work for me to tackle in addition to the store spreadsheet.
>>10381383>>10381387the new spreadsheet is fucking terrible i'm just going to use the old one despite the dead links.
>>10381446Okay. More power to you? Its literally the same spreadsheet
>>10381446if you don't like the way the new one was done, then update it yourself next time. Jfc don't be rude to someone who just did us all a huge, time consuming favor.
>>10381526>>10381525NTA but does the person who change it actually wear jfash? a lot of the stores for lolita or jfah aren't lolita or jfash or anything anymore.
>>10381567...it's literally the same stores from the old spreadshirt but with dead links sorted out, just saying. If some cstores changed their style since first being added, it's not the OP's fault.
Where can I get cute/pastel/fairy kei-ish ZIP-UP hoodies? Or if you just know the proper search term for zip-up hoodies that would help
>>10381355I've read that sometimes replicas and not-official merch are confiscated by the chinese customs. All the stuff I've been eyeing is cheap af, so I'm pretty sure they're not Sanrio official.
>>10381975Chinese customs doesn't give a fuck, you should rather be worried of your own but unless your parcel is suspic, they won't open your parcel to begin with.
>>10382012anon, chinese customs do actually steal random shit sometimes to pretend they give a fuck about replicas.
>>10381975Not sure if this will help or make things worse but.. One time I ordered a pair of Angelic Pretty design shoes thinking I'd just get the shoes with nondescript everything.Turns out they sent me actual Angelic Pretty knockoffs with the AP logo in the shoes in an AP box. Like the full nine yards.Did Chinese customs care? No.Did the USA government care about some random Japanese frilly-dress burando? You bet your ass.I got my nice little package ages later after the Homeland Security, yes, HOMELAND SECURITY, officers saw fit to take my package and probably strut those badboys around the office for a few weeks before returning them to me covered in their sticker tape.
>>10382016I've ordered a few thousand times from China now and never had anything stolen.
>>10382058Went through the archives and actually found a pic.
>>10382061>>10382062anon, you're extremely autistic lmao. that's just the customs tape from when they open and reseal a package. they probably just chose it randomly since it was from china.
>>10382066I've had my packages inspected before and that's the first time I've ever had it say homeland security on it. Mine have always just been opened and repackaged with nondescript tape and I've never had it happen again.I just figured they thought it suspicious because the seller included a potpourri pouch with it.
>>10381975I've only heard of this happening with high-fash reps, like Gucci and Supreme, and it has to be a huge, heavy amount of reps for them to even check. I've ordered tons of knockoff Sanrio and Disney stuff, recast bjds etc and never had anything seized.
What's the best place to buy everyday-wear synthetic wigs, lacefront or not, something on the cheaper side? Am I better off ordering them off taobao shops or ali? Am conflicted, anons. If taobao, anyone got any recommendations/experience? I know cosplay ones, but not ones marketed more towards natural look.
>>10382080Chinese customs just takes random things sometimes. A few years ago an anon had a plate taken from a set she got and she was so pissed off. It wasn't a replica or knockoff of anything, they just took one plate.>>10382067If it wasn't inspected by US customs it won't have the green tape.
>>10382394They probably broke the plate when inspecting it and didn't put it back in before sending the package along
>>10382528wat? no. they took it out of the box, idiot. when customs opens boxes they don't look at every item or unbox things.
Does anyone know if it's still possible and safe to buy stuff directly from Taobao? I read a post from about a year ago saying that Alipay no longer accepts foreign cards. I want to buy a digital item, but my usual proxy doesn't buy digital anymore apparently and my backup is going on holiday tomorrow for several days.>>10377824I did a while ago (late 2016 I think) to New Zealand and didn't have any issues at the time>>10382365https://dream-holic.taobao.com/These aren't exactly cheap but they're the best wigs I've purchased. I haven't purchased a large amount nor do I have nice hair to compare them to, but they do look natural if you can get them to fit correctly and get a natural color.
>>10382843>I read a post from about a year ago saying that Alipay no longer accepts foreign cards. You need a verified account to be able to buy things 1000CNY and higher, that requires to have a chinese bank account linked to it, for payment itself you still can use everything.
>>10382853Sweet, thank you
What's the best/most reliable shipping option on superbuy right now? any recommendations? i only want to ship some costumes to germany
>>10382957EMS considering it uses own airplanes instead of depending on regular flights.
>>10382957>>10383009EMS is a huge shitshow rn. Maybe it's different to Europe but my package to the USA is going on to 3 weeks with 0 tracking updates.
>>10383009idk what the fuck you think EMS is but they definitely don't use their own planes. EMS is just local post so quality vastly differs country to country.
Still looking for heels something like these (other colors ok) on taobao or elsewhere. I found some with one strap and similar cutwork detailing a while ago on taobao but I cant remember the brand (indie lolita brand) and can’t find them again because I don’t know what search terms to use. I’m sad. If anyone has any idea please let me know!
>>10382957Don't listen to ems anon, DHL has their own flights. It'll be delayed by 1-2 weeks compared to usual but you'll get your stuff eventually, and they do text/email updates to keep you in the loop.
>>10383457nta but dhl is expensive as fuck
>>10383486No one really has any other options at this point.
>>10383488surface mail not available?
>>10383488Maybe burgerland has no options but most of us can still use EMS, airmail, SAL and surface.
>>10383037>>10383457EMS from China has own flights, that's why it's still fast.
>>10383618These are for within China you troglodyte.
>>10383488>>10383533America can still get EMS at least through my SS so idk what's their problem
>>10383630Considering I've seen those plenty of time here: no.
>>10383533>>10383744NTA but stop taking things so literally you tards, they obviously mean that besides DHL, all the services are too slow to consider.
I got my rocking horse shoes after nearly two months of waiting. The box they came in was absolutely ruined, but the shoes are perfect. I’ll remember to post link but basically I got bodyline shoes from the factory that used to make them for them.Feels so good. And they fit!
>>10384149congrats. please do, I'm interested.
>>10384149>>10384166Seconding this, I’m starting to regret selling mine ages ago
>>10384166>>10384168Sorry for the wait but here is the link! They also have the spiked rocking horse shoes. https://m.intl.taobao.com/detail/detail.html?id=541862900244
Does anyone know the taobao shop(s) that Marigold Shadows sources from? I like their style but these prices and styles indicate to me that they're a drop shipper or some shit. I tried reverse image search, but no luck.
>>10384186Thanks a lot!
Not strictly cgl related but since people here are knowledgeable about taobao: how crazy it is to order furniture from Taobao? I'm talking disassembled chairs, tables, wardrobes... Etc I would do it when things go back to normal, and I'm in Europe
>>10384507You can probably do it, but the shipping would be through the roof, I don't know if most shopping services would even accept something like that
seems like taobao is switching to mobile-only login soon
>>10384507We had someone order a bed? years ago and they ended up having to trash everything in their house over getting bedbugs from it
>>10385091I believe it was a bed set (bedsheet, blanket, duvet, etc.)
>>10385091this doesn't mean every store will be like this.
>>10384507Adding to this >>10385091, look up "furniture anon" in the archive.>>10385089I already mostly dropped taobao after they removed a lot of sellers from the search and made everything login-only which just showed up errors for me most of the time but this is even worse.
>>10385089That's not what it says. You'll just have to do a verification process if you log in from a computer instead.
>>10385167Has nothing to do with wherever the item is from when some shipping warehouses have bug issues which you have no control over.>>10385189That's the point, you need to verify your ID everytime you login via desktop which basicly forces people to use mobile.
>>10384203I don't know their Taobao storefront, but the black dress is for sale on AliExpress by the shop EAMhttps://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000856541930.htmlEAM's stuff is all this style, I wouldn't be surprised if Marigold Shadows gets a lot of stuff from them. I can't say for sure if EAM is the original seller or a clone shop.
I searched on many sites to find a light blue wig and found one in the perfect color on arda, pic related, but the shipping to my country is stupid high so does anyone know where i could buy a long powder blue wig like this on taobao?
Does anyone recommend any stores for more classical shoes? Most of the stuff I find tends to be more sweet.
>>10385219>Has nothing to do with wherever the item is from when some shipping warehouses have bug issuesyea it does, a lot of companies will spray their warehouses, if the store is cheap, that's how you get bugs. fedex and the like also have certain requirements for that. if you mean ss, then again, it's the ss being cheap.
Spreadsheet anon here. I have finals this week so I won't be able to update it further until friday! I figured I'd let you guys know so you wouldn't think it was abandoned!
>>10386407The only shipping option for that anon back then was SAL due to the heavy weight of the bed, and it got bedbugs during the transport across the world.
>>10386668NTA but no, just no. You literally don't know how it happened.
>>10386688>You literally don't know how it happened.Furniture anon literally documented everything and the examiner confirmed by the age of the bugs that the investion must have happend during shipping.
>>10386666You really need to sort out the "General Asian Fashion" section a some point, plenty of jfashion brands in there that shouldn't go in there.
>>10386794I can try and sort it after finals. In the meantime if you can think of better categories for stores please feel free to suggest them in the deadlink spotting section! It will make the work load of sorting an inherited old mess easier for me.
>>10386918would maybe suggest to replace the larme section with a romantic? j-fash general one because a lot of the "other j-fashions - gyaru/cpk" section overlaps with that
>>10377202How do I put in my number when signing up?
Do any shops sell shoes similar to these Meta platforms? I want to try out the style to see if I like it on myself before I drop a bunch of money on it, and I don't want to buy someone's scuffed, used pair either.
>>10387646Pretty sure Antaina does and they do custom changes to shoes if they are a bit off.
Hi,maybe someone can help me, Im looking for some charms with wicca references and can find the correct chinese symbols for it.
Where in the world did Candy Rain go? I just went to check their storefront and now it's... whatever the hell this is.https://520vivian.taobao.com/
Has anyone placed any orders directly through taobao lately? Have shipping prices/timing calmed down or would it be smarter to use a SS right now?
Does anyone know of any good fairy kei/Nile Perch-type taobao stores? I found a really good one the other day, but a lot of items are unavailable atm. (I did end up buying the fluffy bear shoes, though)
>>10388996link to this store?
>>10388996I find that there are much more sellers of that type on the secondhand taobao app, you should give that a try.>>10388470The brand owner joined some sect apparently, all their social media is like that too.https://www.weibo.com/u/3698214390
>>10389001Haha what the fuck, that's wild! What a shame, some of their designs were wonky, but other times they really struck gold. I hate seeing more and more himekaji brands shut their doors. Oh well, there's always 2bao I guess. Thanks anon!
Can I have help finding a blonde version of a hair bun like this? Why can I only find brown and black ones?I wold be very grateful for a link.
I've used Taobao Trends for the last 5 years. Does this means they're shutting down permanently or for the time being?
when can it be expected that the shipping prices go back to normal or aren't as high anymore?
>>10389608anon you might as well ask a crystal ball because we'd all just be guessing. It really could be a while until international travel (which carries a lot of EMS and airmail cargo) resumes.
>>10389587Oh fuck, I've used them since 2013 and have always loved them. I don't have an answer to your question but I hope they're not shutting down permanently, I've always been happy with their service and don't want to start looking for a new agent.
>>10389001This must be the Chinese equivalent of Americans turning into good god-fearing Christians all of a sudden
How long have you all been waiting for packages? I’ve been waiting for a month with no updates from EMS, wondering how long until I should be worried.
>>10389758So far two weeks for me and it's still in the "preparing to dispatch" stage.
>>10389758My EMS parcel from end of march arrived 3 days ago.
>>10389757>>10389004>>10389757Just look up 阿贊馬諾, seems to be a thai sect dedicated to some nine-tailed fox godess that is animu cgi style nowadays.
>>10389773Yeah it's weird, it seems like in her shop she's selling drinkable fox oil and pendants with fox oil and little scrolls inside. Some of it costs as much as $200.
>>10389528presumably because chinese people have either brown or black hair, so wtf would they do with blonde ones. they're not much into blonde wigs over there like nippons are. just get one of these on amazon or something
>>10389587That message sounds pretty final to me anon
Anyone ever used Netherlands Post Railway? It's not much more expensive than China Post Small Packet and I'd like to avoid my stuff getting stuck in postal hell as much as possible.
>>10390005lol this is retarded.

How do I find ahcahcum muchacha replicas on taobao? I can only find their bags
>>10389758Same, been waiting for a month now since shipping and absolutely nothing. I have no idea where the holdup is either since it just says 'dispatched'.
I placed an order with my SS on April 30th and everything has arrived at the warehouse except my stuff from Dear Celine. Does anyone know of a reason they might be delayed?
Anyone know of any shops that sell platform/YRU style shoes?
>>10393917Thanks a ton, anon
>>10393917Are these YRU knock offs, anon?
>>10394327Not knockoffs but the store sells factory rejects
>>10394615Ooh okay, that makes sense. Thank you!
I'm about to pay for shipping for my order, and FedEx was only 10$ more and it's like 2-4 days instead of 20-45 daysThe problem is that the note on the FedEx option says something like "if parcel isn't signed within 5 days the package is destroyed by FedEx without any notice" which made me pretty nervousDoes anyone have any experience with FedEx? Is this something that has happened to anyone? I would like to get my package asap but the way it's phrased makes it sound really risky
Does anyone know if the direct taobao forwarding service had any price increases? I want to place and order and I don't need it by a certain time, but I definitely don't want to pay jacked up prices for shipping because of the pandemic.
>>10395690I would make sure I’m getting text / email notifications and watching it everyday .
>>10394615>>10395139Just a quick mention that most stores that say they're selling factory rejects are actually selling replicas. I mean, think about it. How do they have enough "reject" stock to fill a taobao shop, unless they're making enough "rejects" on purpose? What kind of business model wastes their production line mass pumping out so many rejects? So it pretty much has to be on purpose, either they're replicas or the real factories are making extra "rejects" on purpose to hawk off for cheap like this.
>>10396403idk about that shop, but I've bought a pair of dreamv style shoes that were only available in limited colors and sizes. the clasp on one of them keeps popping open. i wanted to get more in other colors, so i inquired about restocking, and they said they don't intend to. so in that case i could believe it's the QA rejects. but i agree there are surely many more stores selling replicas, especially if they have a full range of colors and sizes
>>10396403>What kind of business model wastes their production line mass pumping out so many rejects?Speakings someone who gets their company's manufacturing done in China, about 40-60% of the production is rejects over minor flaws (batches with strange color or deformed size), but production is so cheap over there that it doesn't matter.
>>10396424*Speaking as someone
>>10387706this is true, you can contact them through the chat service (the little blue guy) and ask them to make these if you send them a photo (there might be differences in regards to the buckles, they will tell you what they have).
>>10396424lol nice larp
>>10396467What larp, most companies manufacture in China and the company that I work for happens to be one of those, I'm working in quality controll for a shoe chain.
>>10396471People can’t possibly have jobs anon what is wrong with you
Found this recently added note at some Taobao shop that also sells wigs. Anyone ever got issues with wigs when using Taobao's forwardng service?
>>10397122This issue is for certain tb forwarders for Taiwan, HK, Macau, etc. It’s not for the rest of the world.
>>10397266I'm not in any of those and the shop refuses shipping to the forwarder over it
>>10396471>>10396480nah it was the "someone who gets their company's manufacturing" part that sounded retarded.

Any shops that have really pretty/cute bras that arent shit?
>>10397272You’re not but a lot of shipping service use HK as a transferring station. The no wig policy was because the riots in HK and China is banning all relevant stuffs going in there.
>>10392391Screencap/rip images and use taobao's image search and pray that you get lucky. Some of these get copied as "generic" designs and end up being called something really generic with absolutely zero reference to muchacha, to the point where if you're looking for that skirt you may have more luck searching "star wars" and switching to women's clothes category.
any idea how to search for le meme virgin killer sweaters? Like in Chinese?
So a long ass time ago, I made an order on Taobao without a SS. I totally forgot about these shoes that have been sitting in the warehouse for about a year and a half. What do I do here? Are they still there or have they been discarded?
>>10400941fug, just spoke to customer service and they apparently discard the package after a year. oh well. don't forget about your packages like I did, ladies!
tfw my last SAL package hasn't even left China in a month and SS starts charging me daily fees for holding items still left in the warehouseTime to pay $100 for SAL Package #2 to sit in a mail shipping warehouse for months because DHL was asking $300 to ship
Had fun making this order. Hope I get everything fast.
I have a superbuy package that's been in LAX since 4/22. It's been released from customs but the tracking # doesn't show anything on fedex or usps. Anyone else in the same boat? Who is doing the last mile delivery nowadays

>>10382843hey anon, sorry for super late reply but thank you so much for the suggestion. I'm in love with this shop. They actually fare cheap or the same as most wigs as I see and even if they're a little more I would rather spend a little more for a good wig than some scam ali knockoff counterpart.
It's been almost three years since my last stocking haul, so any idea which shops "one size only" stocking can fit tall lolitas (175 cm / 5'8")? I have no idea which shops I bought from three years ago, so how's the current fit of Yidhra or Trany? Any shops I should be looking at? The plus size shops in the sheet sell ugly stuff. I just want flowers and gold prints.

Some small things. At least hoping that it's not too big for them to ship. Probably will split it up.

My SS TaobaoTrends is closed (forever?) and I was hoping to make an order once this is all cleared up but no idea which SS to use nowTT were pretty good with low fees, great communication and photos of orders and marking down everything for me too Is there any that are similar or have I just lost my golden boy service
>>10403670I like Superbuy
>>10403670I use Basetao and they're great.
>>10403670I used to use Taobaotrends all the time until my computer flagged the site for some reason around a year ago (chrome said it wasn't secure). I've used taobaoring/42agent since, they're a good realiable alternative, although more expensive. They have good communication, do free pics, and mark down packages too. I really miss Taobaotrends though, it sucks to hear that they're closing.I used to use yoybuy for a few items that would mess up tt's cart system, and I wouldn't recommend yoybuy at all, really expensive and they'd refuse to buy a lot of stuff, even with the paypal workaround trick. Don't know if they're still around, so I just thought I'd put that out there.

I got a stimulus check today, and I super wasn't expecting it because I'm 18 and live with my parents... I kind of went crazy... shippings probably going to be crazy expensive, but I can't wait. the best part about quarantine is that I don't feel bad waiting 2-3 months for clothes since I'm not going out for that long anyways.

Anyone had issues with 42agent recently? They told me they can't ship my Taobao order for now, because it's not possible to ship to my country (COVID situation), but my friends get their packages shipped and receive them like usual (they use other shopping service - Bhiner). I'm very confused. The situation is like this since April.
>>10405548What shipment method? They were able to ship for me.
>>10404137is this it? https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.184.108.40.206407d3bEWQ3Va&id=611199540747
>>10405834Chinese Air and EMSIt's very confusing for me, 'cause my friends get their packages shipped like usual and I wonder how it's that possible that for one shopping service shipping is not possible and for the other it's fine.
Does anybody know or recognize a store named “Black Carbo”?I have a dress I bought years ago on taobao but there’s no name on the tag. I saw someone else on LM selling it and they mentioned black carbo but so far my search results haven’t been hopeful at all..
How's the shipping situation right now? I want to make an order for summer clothes but I'm not sure if it's worth it.
>>10406606Pretty bad if you're in America unless you want to pay extra for what little fast shipping methods are available.I had to go with SAL with mine and it's been in Beijing since April 25.Japan is just as bad as well. Pic related.DHL seems to be the best thing possible. I've had two DHL packages that both got to me from overseas within the week.
>>10406626How expensive is DHL? That used to be what I use, but I understand there are increased surcharges right now?
>>10406630DHL charges by volume instead of weight (as far as I know) so it would depend on the size of the box your stuff is in. I haven't really kept track of pre-COVID 19 prices versus now so I'm not sure how much they've gone up in price.
>>10406662Would you mind sharing approximate volume and cost of your last shipments? Did you get a lot at once?
>>10406672Sorry it was just some arcade prizes I won from Japan and I had free shipping tickets so all I got was the tracking notice. They shipped on Tuesday of last week for one and it arrived on Thursday. It was really quick so at least DHL is working.
>>10406679Gotcha. I've been having trouble finding a shopping service that will ship anything from Japan right now, not even with DHL. So I thought I would try taobao/China.
>>10406606Small packages seem to be getting through fine. I ordered some little jewelries here and there last month, and got them all within 3 weeks. But my large haul has been sitting in China since April, like the other anon.
>>10406104Very close, but not quite. That's the pochette/pass case, which are smaller than the bag I'm looking for. Thanks so much for trying to help, anon. >>10404323ah thanks so much!
>>10407256looks like they have it but>this product cannot be shipped!fuck
>>10406490Would be easier to identify if you posted a pic.
>>10406662DHL actually charges by volume or weight-- whichever is higher priced.
>>10407257Check your settings. The shop did that to me because it was set to Global but I'm sure a shopping service could still buy it for you.
which shopping services are good nowadays? the spreadsheet's outdated and the last time I bought anything was last year, through Yoybuy--the shipping/fees felt exorbitant for what little I got, so now I'm looking to finally swap. This time I'm thinking of getting some stationery/washi/sticker type stuff, for reference.

Wasn't sure if I should put this here or in the dumb questions thread. Anyone know where I can find this brand's info? I tried just googling but nothing came up.
>>10408026They have all of the info listed on their website, the fee isn’t a lot and they usually have a lot of shipping options They don’t have dirt cheap shipping but it’s reasonable.

>>10408354cool, thx for answering my barrage of questions. one last q: does the cart save, or does it auto-empty after a period of time? I often build up a cart over a period of days/weeks and if I constantly have to add a multitude of items back into the cart, it'll be a bit annoying.
>>10404178Link to legwarmers?

>>10379640My package suddenly went to a train because the planes are pretty much impossible, seems to be going well, I'll let you know once it arrives, it's slow as expected but it's going, I can track it arriving at midpoints of the journey.
Has anyone bought from surface spell on their taobao and heard back from them recently? I bought a blouse from them back in March that looked like it was ready stock and my ss hasn't got it yet. My package got delivered over to my sisters place on Tuesday for mailing reasons , seeing as how i knew it got delivered I deiced to mark the parcel as confirmed. I finally got the package from my sister on Friday and opened it , but to my surprise one item was't there. I wrote to yoybuy services and this morning they told me " you marked for it 3 days ago and if I could weigh the items for them and show it to them ".What does that have to do with me just wanting to know if one of my items was mistakenly marked as sent and is just in the pile of unsent items. like WTF yoybuy sometimes you can be total trash.Has anyone had an experience like this , if so what did you do ? How did you have them find your item ? if they even tried to at all.sorry if there's mistakes in the writing im just so mad and it's early.
