>>
>>10260916
Canadian here, I don't have exact numbers but I can tell you that shipping is fucking expensive to and from Canada. What were you charged?
>>
>>10260964
like almost 50 CAD, and it was untracked. Been more than a month and still nothing too. I kinda feel cheated kek
Thought that for that high of a price it would at least be tracked
>>
>>10260969
Whoa yeah that's definitely more than normal. That sounds like padding a higher cost into "S&H".
>>
>>10260970
yeah I'm just gonna confront them of it doesn't get here by the end of the month. I really wanted that damn blouse though
>>
>>10260969
Where are you located? $50 is on the high side for a blouse and could mean they used a flat rate box or they did ship it tracked.
>>
>>10261011
Asia.
Its def not tracked
>>
>>10261217
It could be there’s no tracking available to your country. You can look up the prices at the end of the doc here. A single blouse should be less than 500g to ship.

https://www.canadapost.ca/tools/pg/prices/CPprices-e.pdf
>>
>>10261231
Yeah I prob got ripped off.
The proof pic of the package showed that the ZIP code they wrote down was a bit unreadable too so I'm worried it's the reason I didn't get it yet
>>
Hypothetically, could I have one SS send my items to the address of another SS? In this case, I'd be doing it because the former SS doesn't mark down packages, but allows you to order from Mercari, while the other doesn't allow Mercari, but allows you to mark down packages.

I dun goofed lads. I’d heard good things about DeJapan (fees only 100 yen per item and will buy from fril/mercari) so I made a 100,000 yen order, taking for granted the fact that I’d be able to declare it at 10,000 yen or so to reduce customs charges. They’ve invoiced me the final payment & fees now and there doesn’t seem to be an option for modifying the customs declaration. I had a look at their terms of service and apparently they prohibit this :/ Also I have to pay a 5000 yen “transaction” fee which is nice I guess

Anyway, what they do offer, unlike other SS, is surface mail, which would save me £60 compared to SAL. I’ve more or less accepted that I’m going to be hit with a £200 charge, but do you reckon I should ask about the customs declaration just in case? Also, I’ve never sent such a huge/valuable package by surface mail to the UK, is it fairly safe? I’m not familiar with how they package things. If it’s anything like Zenmarket then I’m not worried. They package items to survive a nuclear apocalypse.

What would u do

>wrong thread
There isn’t a SS thread at the mo and also I just bumped this thread from near death so ur welcome
>>
>>10272748
I'm not sure how helpful this will be to you anon but in a good few years buying from different SS I haven't had anything arrive damaged, lolita clothing is delicate obviously but it's not that fragile. If you're worried why don't you ask them about reinforced packing? I would ask about the customs declaration anyway, you've got nothing to lose.
The one thing I would be actually worried about is your package being stuck in some sort of customs hell. Did you consider splitting your parcel into two? I feel like one this large would 100% attract the attention of customs.
>>
>>10272748

I'd say the important thing is tracking. Without that you're gonna be waiting two antsy months not knowing if it's just regular old surface being slow or it vanished off the face of the earth.

As for the customs declaration, if their site already prohibits this, low chances they'll change their mind. Japanese companies tend to be like that.

You could also rope in a few friends and split off some smaller packages so you're paying tax on a 70,000yen package while 3 smaller ones skate by, but it's a difficult calculation since the postage costs for 3 seperate packages will increase.

Good luck and god speed, anon. Post your loot when you get it.

My wunderwelt order. Now I'm kind of glad I that missed the VM Harvest Gauze release, it would have gotten even more expensive.
>>

That’s a lovely haul, anon! The black jsk especially. I ended up missing on the Harvest Gauze reservation myself, but like you am glad for the same reasons.

I ended up snagging a men’s Dean jacket by Boz but in shantung off YJA. It’s gorgeous. Now to find a suitable underskirt from Boz to pair up with it so I can wear it like the women’s version. Having bought a few things, including a Boz op, a blouse, and a 3F vest, my haul has ended up big enough.

I bought a dress from LM at the end of november for a Christmas tea party. It was an international parcel sent from the US through usps but I never got it and the tracking number hasn't updated in more than 40 days. In the meantime I bought and got 3 other things from US an Japan that arrived during the holidays with no problems. I am worried that the dress got lost, I sent a message to the seller but a few days have passed and she hasn't even opened it. I am starting to worry. I don't know if I should file a disput to try to get a refund or just keep waiting. I don't think it's her fault if usps fucks shit up but I know for international orders only the sender can ask for support so there's nothing I can do, specially if she doesn't read my messages.

Is the kumya directly from btssb jp? I see a Twitter post about it, but I don't understand the Google translation:

"[BABY stock information] was sold out
'Kumakumami Backpack Mini / ¥ 12,800 + tax' is available for mail order
Please take this opportunity"

You can mail order the brown ribbon colorway even though the description says reservation?
>>
>>10321111
They restocked it! I was looking on the website for something else when I read their blog post about that. They actually just sold out of the one in my post but they have another brown colorway still up for sale! They're definitely in stock for regular purchase, I bought mine over the weekend and it shipped yesterday.

Thanks, Anon. I finally got it, on the fourth day. Along with a guy's expensive camera equipment. I can't make this up, the whole thing feels like a joke. Luckily, I know this guy and got it to him the same day, after all 40 of my calls (admittedly made out of spite at this point) to the post office went unanswered. Apparently I'm not the only person this has consistently happened to in the area, but our post office never answers the phone and all complaints are "resolved" once the person has their package.

Do any anons have any experience with the Polish Post? It's been almost four weeks and the tracking number I received still doesn't work (says no data available on this item), and I'm getting a bit worried. The seller said this was normal for this time of the year and just keep checking, but this never happened to me before with any other country during any time of the year.
I saw that the post has a contact email but I don't know any Polish and I don't know how accurate google translate is with Polish.

How long did shipping take? And did your country's post update the tracking for it at all? I'd assume that once it got into the next country, then it would be finally scanned there and the country's post would update tracking on their end. I check my post's tracking along with polish post's tracking every day, and there's nothing on either one.

Well...I have mixed feelings about them. The leather came a little wrinkled, but the quality is undeniably very good. The inside of the shoe is so soft that when they first came, I thought they were lined with styrofoam. They're extremely comfortable, the toe box is wide enough for me and the shoe is pretty stable while walking. The shoe itself is extremely pretty and very functional.

It's just that it looks a little chunky when worn. I was planning to wear lolita with them, and they don't really have the kind of elegance that would fit in. I suspect it's because there aren't many details on the shoe, like perforations. It's probably okay for the fashion, but yeah I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't fit in as well as I hoped.

Something that really impressed me was that Neosens gave a pair of replacements for the heel caps. They also gave a small tube and sponge for leather care (it's in the envelope). I already have my own leather care kit since I use a lot of leather products, but seeing a company care so much for their products gave me newfound respect for them.

It was kinda tricky to figure it out and I ended up just using a safety pin behind the buckle to keep it in place in a pinch. I think you're supposed to knot it somehow. What country? SAL has been moving along as normal for some strange albeit blessed reason (JP>UK) and it uses the same infrastructure. Fedex on the other hand... I’ve been waiting on a “4-day delivery” parcel for about 2 weeks now. It seems to have finally arrived in the UK but it’s taken the scenic route via Hong Kong, Belgium & Germany.

Managed to ship a final SAL parcel this morning before the service becomes suspended as of 2nd April. Thx based Zenmarket. Slightly paranoid it’s not actually gonna leave Japan though ;_;
>>
>>10366142
Japan to Ireland, it was through my shipping service and a 10kg weight so like 100 euros for postage, I was expecting it to ship out in a timely fashion. Gawd I wonder what will happen with it so, if shipping is suspended. Suppose it'll sit in a warehouse somewhere for months. And its a birthday present too, the only one I'd be getting, damn.

I'm really happy with them so far, the leather feels quite firm and the poppers for the straps feel securely connected to the boots (hopefully they won't come off with use). As for the fit I'm a UK 5 with slightly thinner feet and they fit like a glove, theres a lot of room to make it bigger for wider feet. I bought the M size which I believe is a 23.5, originally I was quite worried since 23.5 shoes are either too small or fit just right for my feet.
I wouldn't say they're worth the price I paid for them brand new, but they've been a dream item for me for so long.

I'm happy to post some pictures if you want more, the place I'm staying for the pandemic has made it hard to get any good photos due to crappy lighting.

I'm not either of those two anons, but thank you for this! Do you think the M would fit a UK 4? I'm never sure whether to go for S or M, especially since I have a high instep.

I can sometimes go down to a 4 at a push, so depending on if you want a bit of extra room id say maybe go for the M? However when I researched sizes I heard JM run a little large so it might be fine getting the S.

I'm a UK 5 as well, so this was really helpful. Thank you anon!

Thank you again, that's helpful! I think I'd probably try the M first in that case.

Hi anon, I wear a UK 3, and although I don't own this specific style I've got a few pairs of JM shoes. They're all a size S and they fit me well. I would go for the M if I were you, unless you've got super narrow feet.

Also thank you >>10383028 for the review!

Thanks for confirming my suspicions, anon! My feet are average-to-wide, so I think I'll stick with M.
