What is the money you’ve ever spent on a cosplay? (Including the shoot)Have you ever hired props or cars as backgrounds?
>>10188170$0.Nope because I'm not Ronnie the Limo Driver. Go look at the Dodge Challenger.
>>10188170With repairs and upgrades I must have spent about $500 on my Zelda cos, never paid anything for a shoot other than coming to the con I had the shoot at
>>10188170>photoshopping your armpits to be creaseless
>>10188170I have a friend that does car modeling. Typically if your hot enough, guys will let you use their car as a prop for free and/or ask you to model with their car
>>10188170maybe 500. little things here and there that added up. i made a dalek out of cardboard.
>>10199727shit dude, what was the cosplay?
>>10188170$700 on CTP
>>10209738What's a CTP
3 grand on a movie accurate kylo ren and at least a grand on a movie accurate spider-man.
>>10209793>>10209738I'm assuming they're talking about Cat's teaparty which is a lolita print, but I'm not sure since this is a cosplay thread.
Probably 200-300 if we're not including manhours, which could easily tack on another 0 to those figures.
I spent like 500-600 to make my first foam armor. It was a yellow Voltron armor for AX. Would have been more if i sprung for an airbrush but i went with spray paint
around $300 on 3 cosplays I think are kinda decent.
$750-800 ish on my last competition cosplay. Worth it to win best in show, I guess. Probably was overkill though.
>>10216300Where did all that money go on a foam armor? Does it have electronics?
Somewhere over $500 on Ela from Rainbow Six. Authentic gear is expensive.
>>10216549Well, I didn't have anything to work the foam.I had to buy blades, a cutting mat, a heat gun, glue gun, rotary tool, contact cement and caulk plus paint and all kinds of fucking shit. The foam itself wasn't too much, like 150.
>>10216596I see how that can add up, I'm lucky to have a lot of tools already because my mom is very crafty
>>10188170first cosplay +1200€wearing it since 3 years slowly improving it
How much would you spend on a private photo shoot. Con photographers are free, but it's not like you can get studio quality lighting or even a decent photographer.
$300 over 4 cosplays
