>>10170585I really feel like starting to do this, shipping to america is expensive and such a hassle and americans do it too so why can't we?
Still so sad about missing this dress
>>10171315Same but for the JSK. Hopefully some people will decide to sell their MTOs in October.
>>10171314I’ve thought about only selling to the US just because it’s a pain in the ass having Europeans bitch and complain about shipping prices. Just assume it’s going to be $50, and if it’s lower then congrats, you saved some money. Maybe I just have had bad luck. I buy from Europeans frequently just fine, but selling is usually a nightmare.
>>10171314Where do you live? It doesn't take any extra trouble to ship to America or any other country. It's only more expensive for the buyer.
>>10171331Not just you having bad luck. I hate selling to Europeans because they complain about the prices every single time and ask me if I can mark down the cost for customs, and when i tell them it’s illegal and I’m uncomfortable they bitch some more. Sorry I don’t want to commit a crime for your poor ass.
>>10171331>>10171337This.I started getting really stressed out whenever a EU buyer would ask me for a shipping quote because they would ALWAYS complain about the cost and would ask it to be shipped the cheapest way etc when PayPal doesn't offer seller protection for cheaper options. And those cheaper options aint wen cheap!Sometimes, Id lowball the pricing, still get bitched at and then I'd have to make up the difference in shipping costs because I'm not an ass who will ask for more shipping $$ after the fact. Now I don't ship outside the us, on the surface anyways. I do preface it that I'm willing to work with people if they REALLY want the item and realize it's going to cost a fuckton in shipping tho.
>>10171314>>10171331i live in the US and have never cared for the shipping cost desu, if you really love a dress then make it go over the ocean for youmost of the stuff in my closet has come from australia or somewhere in europe and so far those seller are always better to deal than US sellers
>>10171344I think it’s strictly a European thing too. I never hear euro sellers complaining about this with US buyers. And on top of that, I’ve shipped to Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and Australia and not once have they ever complained about shipping or asked me to do shady shit like mark their $250 dress down to $50 or some shit.
still hunting for these babes. pictured cuts and colorways only
>>10171337>>10171344Why don't you put the shipping cost in the description of your listing? I never have this problem. I don't mind marking down parcels either, do you work for the police or border control or something? Lol
>>10171378No I just have morals, unlike you apparently. And I do put disclaimers about the shipping cost to the EU on my listings.
>>10171385>moralsYeah let me tell you how internally conflicted I get about writing $20 instead of $100. I lose sleep at night over how I cheat the poor governments out of their economic protectionist taxes and let the poor innocent lolitas suffer by paying less.
>>10171385Oh it's you
>>10171389Not everyone is okay with committing a felony just because you are. It’s strange you feel so strongly about your crime being okay that you complain about those who follow the law.
>>10171394This is hilarious kek
>>10171389why is people wanting to follow the laws of their country such a sensitive topic for you?>>10171394just ignore it, it’s probably a troll if they still get upset after these posts. but remember that there is a function to let mods know about posts that break US law
>>10171348That's not true, I've had american buyers complain about the cheapest shipping method too, because they thought shipping across the globe is somehow just as cheap as shipping domestic.>not once have they ever complained about shipping or asked me to do shady shit like mark their $250 dress down to $50 or some shit.Because their countries customs aren't as anal as european ones.If you ask them to pay with friends & family, there is nothing for you to loose. Legally literally no one cares about marking down on the sellers side unless it's like 20k euros.
>>10171397>but remember that there is a function to let mods know about posts that break US lawThis is for someone who post cp or murder related shit, not because someone marks down their parcels lmao.
>>10171412As a law abiding citizen I feel compelled to report any crime I see.
>>10171320definitely inflated but the JSK is out there at least! https://item.mercari.com/jp/m28181837877/?_s=U2FsdGVkX185f4PoYvw_z2EkcOiGRSddoikBdNDj2GgiZntIuC3JA5kL0ABvsb9EakAw3dJginoqLsZOigvt-Zc64_TvtzDnNXDR5bMMl1WGNzIHY3NBheIXjjvw4TNa
>>10171415Alright, so let me explain some stuff since you all think we're breaking US law and going to jail for felonies over customs value. And before I being>t. postal gull The values you mark on parcels don't actually mean shit and can't be proved otherwise because you're not a business. The truth is, you're sending used clothes. Even though someone paid you $100 for a dress doesn't mean that's the actual value, because the value is lost the second it is sold from the original business and enters the irrelevant 2nd hand market. You can write "USED DRESS, $20" and that would be just as true as writing "USED DRESS, $200", because it's used clothes and doesn't have a set defined value because you're not the established business selling it. You aren't a business, you aren't engaging in international trade as a business, and that's the only place that it matters. You can literally say "They gave me $200 but really it's only worth $20 because it's a used dress out of my closet". Theoretically EU customs cause a stink if the item is NWT and they happen to open it for random inspection, but even then the absolute WORST that can happen is that customs revalues the item and the receiver has to pay the tax off of that, not felony charges, ffs. This will only happen if there is some sort of paper work (tags, invoice) included in the shipment showing how much it is "worth", then they'll add a value to it, otherwise it's used clothes of a non-EU protected brand (fashion designers in Europe have protections that can be used, but not irrelevant Japanese thrift clothes)- so that will never happen without paperwork and will be extremely rare with. If you think you're committing a felony by deciding the value of your own used clothes, then you're delusional.
>>10171421Sorry, it’s against the law to lie on government paperwork. I don’t know why you’ve got your panties in such a twist about people being uncomfortable lying on a gov. establishment document, but I suggest you calm down because this can’t be good for your blood pressure.
>>10171431You’re not going to convince me to break the law lmao. Take a few deep breaths and chill. My decision to follow the law should not have you writing novels about it.
>>10171433FYI- there's multiple people in the thread, not just me (that was my only reply). I'm not upset/mad at all, just killing time on a train. But the point is that you're not lying on a document/breaking the law over a used item because values aren't protected and don't apply at that point. If you're a business, it applies. If you're selling something new, it could apply in certain cases. If you're an individual selling a used item that has no protections then it does not apply because value is literally whatever you say it is- there's no "lie" involved. I'm not telling you what to do at all, you do you- it doesn't matter, but understand that no one in the thread is breaking any law.
>>10171437Lying on government paperwork is a crime.
>>10171415You're hilarious anon. Do you also file a report when someone crosses a red light? Because that is the same level of persecution marking a parcel down receives, hence why it's so funny you act morally superior over it.
>>10171445It’s incredibly dangerous to drive through a red light. You can kill people.
>>10171445Running a red light is far more severe and receives harsher punishments than marking down parcels lol
>>10171446Maybe if you pass the street blasting machine guns.
>>10171438You’re not lying though, because you can value it however you want. You don’t have to write „someone paid x amount for it“.
I know this is going to be super hard to find. But will pay a decent price.
Europeans ask for parcel markdowns not only to pay less taxes, but also because they simply don't want to deal with customs shit such as waiting way too fucking long until the postal service decides to release it from customs. Which you have to pick up yourself because DHL in Germany is too lazy to deliver it for example. Unless you pay extra money of course lmoaI also ask for markdowns all the time from online shops and SS and nobody gives a fuck. Get your frills outta this salt, this isn't a real crime and nobody cares.
>>10171567>it’s not a real crime because my feelings say so
>>10171567Don't forget customs are also only open during working hours and weekdays and there's only one per city, so you have to drive through 2-10 districts and then wait 2-3 hours in an overcrowded waiting room just so you can pay 100 euros customs on top of your 150 euro dress.
>>10171421The package can only be insured for the marked value. Getting insurance protects the seller, since the buyer can just file a PP claim and get refunded if the package is lost or damaged. If a $200 package is market as $20 and is damaged, buyer gets $200 refund from Paypal, and the seller can only claim $20 from the postal service
>>10171496yeah that anon is either trolling or actually extremely ignorant and never sent a parcel overseas
>>10171569it literally is not a real crime
>>10171591Yeah, that’s true. No one ever disputed that. Just wanted to point out that it’s not a crime to value your used clothes at what you choose to value them at.
>>10171632It literally is
>>10171409>If you ask them to pay with friends & family, there is nothing for you to loose.Well you’re really dumb then because friends and family payments can be charged back, and then you’re out of money and no tracking/payment proof. There was a girl who sold a bunch of stuff and convinced people to pay via friends and family and did a charge back on 20 of them. This was near the end of the LJ days. Everyone lost their shit over it. So, beware, being a cheap ass over a luxury fashion could end up with no dress and no money and PayPal won’t do shit for you.
>>10171579And at this point, you're better off buying a sewing machine.
>>10171496Hope it doesn't get lost or you'll be SOL on insurance. This is a shitty idea even if customs doesn't care
>>10171715Wait what...? She doesn’t charge back the payments she received... do you mean that she didn’t send out the sold stuff? Because PayPal doesn’t let you file a claim for friends and family, only goods and services
All I want is the jetj Bosch dress and the Goya dress. Seen the first on the 2nd hand market once, the second never, fml. I'll give up when I'm fifty, when I intend to start Swedish death cleaning. In between I keep buying older JetJ dresses here and there, full wool with silk lining, fuck yeah.
>>10171735I remember that. I think anon wote it backwards. She convinced a lot of people to let her pay them via friends and family to avoid high shipping costs, and MONTHS after the transactions, she went and did chargebacks on a ton of people at once. Some people had to dig through their sales history to figure out who was even responsible.
>>10171737>jetj bosch dressI hope it gets a re-release, sometimes the chinese tea parties get them
>>10171745That would be great, and a rerelease might be more affordable than a 2nd hand market find. The original is all sturdy polyester that will survive a nuclear holocaust anyway, quality shouldn't be a concern.
It’s been a rough week. Hopefully some dreams pop up soon! These cuts and colourways only.
Emily Temple Polka Dot DuckMy final dream item. I missed one on Fril years ago for ¥5000 and now Im salty every time I see it for ¥20000. Any colourway is fine but JSK only.
>>10171744Didn't she claim credit card scam as well and shut down the account everything was connected to?
>>10171715If they chargeback, their own paypal account will be in the negatives. If they claim it's a unauthorized transaction, paypal has several ways to tell if it is and will ask the seller for information too. If they claim the item didn't arrive, PP will close the case because F&F payments don't have buyer protection. I am talking out of recent experience on all cases.
>>10171715You can do chargebacks just as easily if you don't use the friends & family option. Paypal is much safer for buyers than sellers. That's why a lot of European lolitas prefer local payment methods or direct bank transfer.
>>10171821I agree that it's generally safer for buyers than for sellers but you can't charge back that easy anymore. Paypal will ask you to justify the chargeback as soon as you login and will inspect your given reason. If they find out, they'll put your account in the negatives, will hire a collection agency and will log all your data so you can't make new accounts.

>>10170589>>10170585I don't understand this. If the buyer is willing to pay for expensive international shipping fees and take responsibility for lost/damaged packages, why not sell it to them?
>>10171898I heard shipping internationally from the US takes more time than shipping domestic because you have to fill in a form.
>>10171898Europeans are trash and don’t deserve brand
>>10171898>>10171906this but not as a joke. the majority of them are so rude about buying/shipping costs/marking down packages that i just don’t want to deal with any of them
>>10171906>>10171898I am willing to sell to them--I just say I don't GENERALLY do it & preface it with its going to be super expensive because I don't want to deal with people stressing me out over shipping a fucking dress overseas---I don't work customer service for a reason. The overseas lolitas Ive sold to since I started to do that have all been lovely and happy to just get it.
>>10171908How many europeans did you sell to? And how exactly were they rude?
>>10171903You do have to fill out a form and it can be irritating but honestly it's not that big of a deal, especially if you're selling something more expensive. I've bought and sold internationally (i'm american) and it really isn't that bad if the buyer doesn't whine about the shipping fees (no shit international shipping is gonna be expensive)
>>10171934about 50, and as for reasons, nothing that hasn’t been discussed earlier. entitlement about marking down packages, shipping costs, etc. i finally had enough and stopped selling to them back in 2015
>>10171934Nayrt but the only issue with LM sales I’ve encountered in my years of selling is with Europeans dropping out of sales because they bought it without realizing the shipping costs or because I wouldn’t mark something down. I’ve also had Euro buyers try to get me to ship to an address in the USA so they could save on shipping and getting mad at me when I say no because it’s not the one listed on their PayPal and that goes against PP’s TOS/leaves me open to be fucked over.
>>10171943How do you know their listed paypal address if they haven't paid for shipping yet (as you said they were negotiating over shipping it to europe or us)?
>>10171955Are you stupid? If the buyer is from the EU and asks for USA shipping for a cheaper option there’s a very high chance that it’s not the address on file, especially if they say “can you ship to my friend in such and such state in America?” And you can send an invoice and see their addresss without them paying too. Tons of ways to figure it out.
>>10171968Ignore them, it’s just some assmad eurotrash who can’t accept most of the people where they come from are shit buyers
>>10171940That's weird, I've sold to about 200 people myself and only 1 french and 3 americans were rude about prices and asked for reductions after they bought the item. Unless you consider simply asking about those things entitled, it sound like you're just incredibly unlucky. I've never had anyone backing out of sales either even if they were surprised over high shipping costs. But then again, I've only been selling for the past 2 years so times may be different.>>10171971Idk anon, you sound pretty assmad yourself.
>>10171980Yeah no offense but I’m not going to listen to a newfags experience, I’ve been selling since 08
>>10171980How is it just one person being incredibly unlucky when there are several anons complaining about the exact same thing?
Americans hate foreigners and make generalised statements based on one bad experience, what a surprise
>>10171984>one bad experience>people in this thread have said they’ve had dozensRight. Europoor trash at it again with the entitlement.
>>10171981I wouldn't call over 200 sales new but ok.>>10171982All I see from other anons is sperging about not wanting to markdown parcels and european buyers who are upset about shipping prices, which doesn't seem like a big deal if they aren't backing out and isn't a country specific thing either, I've had my fair share of Aussies, Americans and Canadians complain too. Yet I see a difference between complaining and straight up being rude.
>>10171987Please don't make entitlement into the new meaningless memeword, it's already getting annoying.
>>10171987I've sold to 4578994322 Europeans and only had good experiences desu
>>10171988Reread the thread to get context. And 2 years in lolita is pretty new.
>>10171989It’s been one for a while, where have you been?
>be me, newlita>see dream skirt from US seller>look up shipping cost online, should be around $30-40 depending on the weight>a bit expensive compared to shipping from my country to the US but ok >buy the skirt through bin and receive invoice >she charges $65 for shipping>ask if she can explain that amount >she gets buttmad and re-lists the skirt >leave her negative feedback for backing out and not communicating wellIs it my fault postal services in the US are shockingly expensive compared to the rest of the world?
>>10171996I never left, so far it wasn't on par with calling everyone and everything salty, vendetta, bait etc but that seems to change.
>>10172001It’s been pretty on par since 2016, I don’t know how you’ve missed this
>>10172000You are at fault here, assuming she wasn’t the one to tell you it would be $30-40. I hope she contacts LM mods and gets your false feedback amended
>>10171943If someone wants to ship to an alternate address they can just put it directly on their paypal. That way the seller is still covered. I've done that before with UK/EU only sellers, ironically one accused me of being a pain by telling her I was American and had an EU address I would use on the paypal invoice, but she would've never known if I didn't tell her
>>10172003It's over a year ago and I haven't heard anything from her or the mods since then. If I was really at fault she could have left me negative feedback but she didn't. I never said I didn't want to pay it, all I did was question the price politely considering I thought she was scamming me (and I'm still not sure if she wasn't).
>>10172000Always ask the seller for an estimate before buying if they haven't stated it on their listing. But yeah, that seller was unnecessary hostile and there sadly are a very few amount of people who overcharge shipping without refunding the rest. Sorry about your skirt anon, I hope you'll find it again.
It’s not the same complaint, but a lot of EU buyers have been rude about my shipping time even though my listing clearly gives a time they can expect me to ship by and want me to ship way earlier. I’ve never had US buyers be dicks about it.>>10172006You bought the listing without a confirmation on the amount from the seller, so that’s why you are at fault. If she was charging $100 I could see your complaint, but I’ve had items cost $65 to ship to the UK.
>>10172000How do you know it was supposed to be that amount? You used an online calculator? Those are shit. I’ve had them underestimate shipping cost for a JSK to be $40 when it was actually $60
>>10171994I did, and I said 2 years of selling, not of being into lolita. Either way both barely have value to what I've said anyway. Point is that those were my experiences and it's weird that they seem to vastly differ.
>>10171989Europeans acting entitled and getting called entitled because of it, shocking.>>10171984Only one European was ever okay with my policy of not marking down packages. Everyone else bitched about it or begged me to mark down their packages. And if acting like a petulant child didn’t work, they would back out the majority of the time. If you’re not prepared to spend a ton of money for your dream dress, it’s not really your dream dress. That includes expensive US based shipping and customs. Idgaf if you’re going to pay an extra 100€, that’s not my problem.
>>10172013You seem to be the odd one out based on the amount of people complaining about EU buyers.>>10172015>Idgaf if you’re going to pay an extra 100€, that’s not my problem. They don’t seem to realize it’s not our problems, or if they do they want to make it ours somehow. It’s mind boggling. Even if marking down packages isn’t technically illegal, which in some places it is, it’s a morally questionable thing to do.
>>10172009I party agree but they only asked to explain the price. Imagine you ask a question and the seller just relists the item without explanation or communication, I'd give a negative too.
>>10172019The thing is, it probably wasn’t her first time dealing with a European who gave her shit about the shipping. I can understand what she did.
>>10172019How is she supposed to explain the price? She doesn’t set it, the post office does.
>>10172021By saying exactly what you just did. Backing out after sale is shit no matter how much they hate europeans.
>>10172025It’s common sense that the post office sets the shipping price, why would you need to say that unless you’re dealing with a complete moron?
>>10172025You need someone to tell you how shipping an item works? What?
>>10172017Vocal minorities exist and judging the amount under layers of anonymity and samefagging seems difficult to me. If I am the odd one out, I'm interested why, that's why I asked for details and what exactly you consider rude.
>>10172030If you wanted to see what people considered rude why not read the thread to see what they said instead of asking to be spoonfed it directly? You claimed you read the thread but it sure doesn’t sound like it.
>>10172021How do you calculate shipping beforehand? Screenshot that shit
>>10172026>>10172028Because post systems are different all over the world? Newlita anon most likely is used to standart prices and online shipping labels.
>>10172032By asking your local post office, how stupid are you?>>10172033Please give one example of a country that lets you pay whatever price you want to ship an item. I am very interested.
>>10172035So for every buyer who asks you about shipping before buying, you go to the post office? Lol
>>10172035I guess having an online pricelist for each country and weight is a European invention
>>10172035This isn't what I've said but nice strawman. Some agencies offer online shipping and you can choose one way out of several options. And like I said, a lot have standart pricing you can calculate yourself with a measurement tape and a kitchen scale.
>>10172017This is an anonymous board. How do you know for certain how many different people have bad experiences with Europeans vs. Americans? Many girls in my comm are burnt out on selling to North Americans because in our experiences, those buyers usually try to haggle over shipping prices (which are still half of what it would cost to ship from NA to our country btw) and become paranoid and rude whenever a parcel is detained by customs. Afaik none of my NA buyers have ever had to pay customs charges or had anything detained for more than a few days but a lot of them still send me pissy messages about it, as if it’s my fault that customs exist. One tried to leave me negative feedback because her package was detained for two days, but LM mods overturned it.Maybe we just prefer to complain about shitty buyers amongst ourselves instead of on /cgl/.
>>10172042The anon who thinks it's a serious crime to mark down parcels has already derailed a couple of threads. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just her replying to herself.
>>10172043There are 44 posters in the thread but Ok
>>10172042Stop ban evading and take a fucking break.
>122 replies>15 imagesGood job staying on topic everyone.
>>10172000Did you even read the terms of sale, you dumb bitch? Hopefully the seller messages the mods and reports your false negative. Bidding or BIN means you committed to that seller's terms to buy
>>10171934Not that Anon but about 3 and they were rude and demanding. Only the UK lolitas are worth selling to
>>10172086The seller is the one who doesn't commit, read it to the end.
>>10172092No, dumbass, anon was trying to say you purchasing BIN means you commit and accept to whatever shipping the seller says. You didn’t, you gave the seller shit.
>>10172092The seller probably didn't reply because dumb bitch buyer violated her ToS making the sale invalid
>>10172093I'm not the original anon and they didn't say in their post that they didn't commit or agree to the shipping quote, they simply asked about it and then the seller relisted it without communication afterwards. OP was a dumbass for not reading the terms or messaging the seller about shipping before buying, but the seller deserves their negative feedback if they relist their item because the buyer asked a question. It's basically backing out of a sale.
>>10172099>I’m not the original anonSure Jan. There are just a bunch of retards who don’t understand what BIN means posting in this thread I guess.
>>10172093She asked a question to the seller, what's the difference between asking if before buying or after buying if she's willing to pay either way? If it was something popular I wouldn't wait for a reply from the seller. People bin because they need to buy it fast.
>>10172104BIN means you agree to the sellers terms of sale, including shipping costs.
>>10172105Yeah but she didn't say she didn't agree or didn't want to pay it, she just asked about it lol. $65 is a lot for just a skirt.
>>10172106She said she thought she was being scammed, sure sounds like she didn’t agree.
>>10172100Now you just argue for the sake of arguing. Don't you ever get tired of this? I literally mostly agreed with you.
>>10172108If you mostly agreed that means there’s still something to disagree about.
>>10172107Because the seller didn't answer the question about shipping and directly relisted it instead, I'd think that's fishy too.
>>10172112But anon had previously agreed to whatever the shipping was by placing a BIN bid
>>10172115And? See >>10172106The seller still backed out of a sale after a willing buyer asked a question. That sounds excessive, like they have something to hide and is bad behaviour.
>>10172130Anon was questioning the set terms after already committing to them. You must be literally retarded not to understand why that allows a seller to back out.
>>10172130This.>>10172151It sounds like they didn't list the price and working with your buyer/seller should be common practice. Immediately leaving bad feedback and relisting is rude and uncalled for when trying to communicate.
>>10172152You need to learn to read, the seller didn’t leave bad feedback, the dumbass that placed a BIN without asking about shipping and just contractually agreeing to whatever it was did.
>>10172151They didn't question the terms, they asked to explain the shipping price, they didn't disagree with them. Asking questions about a purchase is not a good reason for backing out and is a complete overreaction on the sellers side.
>>10172157Ah you're baiting, okay.
>>10172167>misread something and get called out>throw in a buzzword on your next post to deflectNice.
>>10172167Yup, they repeatedly shat up the general in the same way.

Europe anon here, I just wanted to throw in a horror story that happened to me with customs simply because the sender didn't mark the parcel as I told them to. It was a taobao order but whatever>be me, waiting for the parcel to arrive>German customs are extremely anal and have detained it>hear from them once after several days that they want an invoice proof>this dumb bitch of an SS didn't write the value or the type of item on the fucking parcel>provide info>several weeks pass>I try to reach them, nothing >we don't have anything that matches your tracking number anon>wait some more time>turns out these fucking cretins destroyed the parcel content and sent it back to ChinaI don't insist on marking the parcel down for saving money as much as I simply don't want another one of these horror stories to repeat, ESPECIALLY not with a dream dress. It's also why I never choose EMS or DHL because it's guaranteed to be caught by customs. The smoothest sailing is tracked Airmail shipping with the value marked under 20€ and as a gift. Besides, this whole law only applies to official businesses anyway and not to private people. For all we know, some kind and generous angel could've simply gifted someone Puppet Circus just because she felt like it. As other anons have said, 2nd hand items don't have any value in the trade market.
>>10171987Bottomline for Euros is: never buy anything from Burgers, they're cunts and their shirring is stretched. Might as well order exclusively from Japan and China.
>>10172406There are lots of fat european lolitas though. Particularly in France and the UK
>>10172348>destroyed the parcel contentHoly shit, what? How? For what reason? That sounds awful, anon!

WTB Dreamy Baby Room JSK in any colourway except black.MUST INCLUDE the waist ties and detachable star clip. I feel like every time it pops up, at least one of those two things is missing.
wasn’t someone looking for this
Whoops, didn't realise there was a new thread!
>>10174782I have a story about that Millefluers Standing Collar OP... >be me two years ago, in Osaka with some friends>go to Closet Child with friend who is not in lolita, but interested in starting>going through racks>she's picking up tons of casual wear stuff, I'm finding a couple nice lolita things>we grab dress at same time, since we started at one end of rack and met in middle>I take my hand off of it>she pulls it out, it's that dress>my face lights up, I let out a small "omg...">she looks at me>What is it, anon?>Oh, that's a dress I've wanted for a really long time, I can't believe we just found it>she gives me weird look, tosses it over her arm with the stuff she's buying, doesn't say anything>I tell her I want to buy it, she says "I saw it first">she buys it, has never worn it, still doesn't wear lolita except for maybe one or two times Yeah, we don't talk too much anymore... (not from this incident, though). I'd ask to buy it from her but from how weird she was acting and how non-confrontational I am I decided just to call it a loss and keep looking for it. >>10181885>no, you're an angelyou're welcome!
>>10181729Sounds like a personal vendetta since you keep commenting that
>>10182384Stop misusing buzzwords. Lots of people have an issue with her from what I’ve seen commented on here. I will say though in my personal experience she rudely demanded I buy an item that I hadn’t bid on.
>>10182384ive come across a seller that states on their listings they won’t sell to byoku specifically. from the sound of it she’s pissed quite a few people off. if you search around her feedback and what she’s left other people it’s not hard to see why.
>>10182384This is the first time anyone mentions that seller. Lurk more and learn what vendetta actually is.
>>10182398It’s probably Byoku mad that her shitty attitude has caused reprocussions.
>>10182384This has nothing to do with her mannerisms but I refuse to buy from her now, the one time I did the shirring was stretched out. It was never mentioned on the listing and I was upset.

>>10182418Def looking for CTP in grey, hit me up if you decide you dont want it :)
>>10183067It sold. So this is what the new going price is, huh?
>>10183900500-900 is better than 1000-2000 though
Missed Lady Gingham twice now
>>10183900The MTO JUST came out so obviously it won’t be close to retail yet. Give it some time and I bet it’ll drop another 100 or so.
Angelic Pretty British Bear Special set in pink!
>>10183922That colorway is vile. Even next to the yellow
>>10183924Each to their own
>>10183900I honestly think $850 is pretty low and I think it will only go back up in the future. The dress itself was $438 (just going by AP USA) and let's say you add $20 for shipping. That's $458. That's a low-ball price because it doesn't consider people who had to use a SS.On top of that, the minimum time people waited for their MTO is 7 months. Selling for $850 is basically saying that whoever sold it only valued their waiting time at $56 a month.Maybe I'm dumb and I'll gladly eat my words when I'm wrong, but I think it'll climb over $1k again. I certainly don't think it'll ever sell for a measly $500
>>10183900Not bad, it took a few days. I haven’t gotten mine yet but I also love the print along with others so have been stalking it all over..
>>10183900I think the price will be around 500, becouse it was released on unlimited mdo everywhere, japan, europe and the us.
>>10184288> I certainly don't think it'll ever sell for a measly $500It already has. Recently. You’re kind of stupid. Part of the reason for the high price was the absolute scarcity due to very low numbers originally being produced. But there was a world wide MTO for it, so the numbers are much MUCH higher now.
>>10175536I see! That's awful, goos luck sith your future purchases!
Idk if the anon who wanted this got the re release but this cut is on LM
I don’t know if I’ll ever find this salopette but I at least have some hope for dream sky!
>>10184719Gonna fight you for dream sky.
>>10183922I want this in the yellow so badly
>>10184371"I don't think it'll sell regularly for only $500"is what I should have said. Also why the hostility? Are you butthurt over not getting in on the MTO or something? No one is really sure just now many dresses were produced this time. I'm seeing more and more people saying they wish they bought it. It wasn't cheap and I can see a lot of people flaking out because it wasn't a cheap lucky pack.It just seems unlikely to me that someone who waits half a year for a dress would let it go for basically what they bought it for. I mean, they'd get their money back, but not their time.Like I said, I'm fine if I'm proven wrong over time. I don't really care
>>10184866I just really dislike stupid people
Hey gulls, I'm lazy and concerned about mis-marketing my secondhand brando on LM... Would people get mad if I under price things on purpose while explaining it's because I can't confirm if the condition is better then wearable? Or will that make people mad? Someone irl said she thought people might get mad at brando being underpriced.
>>10184873Yeah no, don’t do that. Always be sure to accurately list the condition and damages to any item.
>>10184873You're not responsible for upholding other people's burando pricing, so mark it at whatever price you like. What's more worrisome is you not describing the damage accurately. Wouldn't this lead to potential buyers requesting a shitton of info before they buy? And there's the always the stupid buyers who entirely misread your "this might not be wearable" to mean "if you're really picky, there's a tiny pinprick hole nobody can see" vs "this REALLY isn't wearable because the back is entirely sun-bleached out but you can totally still put it on for a photoshoot showing only your front, which counts as wearing it", and then they start hassling you for a refund/return, or straight up open a paypal dispute because you mislead them about how "wearable" an item is.Just describe the damages and the condition accurately. Price it however you want, if you're only selling a few items people just assume you're rich or desperate. It's only if you're dumping a shitton of burando for dirt cheap that people start wondering where you got them from and why.
>>10184906I bet this is typo and they meant $550
>>10184868then get off cgl
>>10184878guess i phrased things incorrectly. What I meant to say is is it okay to under-estimate the condition of a piece AND price it low? I did not mean to imply I was going to mis-report the item as better quality. I'm just trying to figure out a way to avoid hassle because i'm a lazy person. The idea came from how Japanese secondhand stores often downplay how good the condition of something is and so westerners tend to be pleasantly surprised at what they receive and have few complaints.>>10184896I agree with no supporting some kind of brando bubble. It's just that my friend was really insistent that there should be a maintained value that I thought I should ask here in case it is a shared sentiment. This person also buys and sells a lot so that probably shapes their opinion.
>>10184906This extra oof considering the MTO announcement
>>10185024it's a different cut at least I guess (i wish they did an MTO for this one though the round JSK is ugly as sin)
>>10185014The occasional cheap sale isn't going to affect the market all that much. Only if you're flooding the market with cheap burando will people start asking questions. If you just want to keep the peace then write down that you need the money for an emergency or something, people are usually understanding that's why the price of something is cheaper.
>>10183916how much for nwt charlottes bear? i have pink and blue but considering selling one.
>>10185058Probably 300. It pops up for like 250 usually.
>>10185058I’m the anon from above and $300? It sold for less than that on LM the few times it popped up.I’m looking for the OP in blue only.
>>10185290There was one that just ended a few weeks ago for a great price..
>>10185294I know. I was so busy with work I didn’t have time to look...
same anon here who has been dying inside over heart sherbet jsk for months now. a kind gull sent me a link a month or so ago, but it sold before my SS could snag it. someone put me out of my misery
Posting it here in case people are looking for Horror Garden but didn't see it in general; there is ONE Horror Garden JSK in this white colorway on the AP USA shop right now. So if you want this dress straight from the brando ship here is your chance.
People like this need to burn in hell. This is so stupid.....seriously. that's the price of a cheap car...twat.
>>10186144I think it's a "joke" considering someone accidentally typed 5500$ in on it for bid, hence why they had to relist it.

>>10175472Hey anon- do you still want that Baby collab OP on the left? I got the Tokyo Alice one last month and it’s too small on my busy. If you’re willing to pay what I did, then I’ll sell it to you. I’ll probably list it on LM if not, no use in letting it sit!
>>10189604*bust, not busy
>>10171591THIS. This is why it makes me uncomfortable to mark down packages. Marking down a $250 dress to $30 puts ME at risk of loosing $220 so some twat I don’t know can save money because her country’s tariff laws suck. Not my problem.

>>10184873Wtf? Why would people get mad? That's ridiculous. Just say in your listing "I didn't check the condition and I priced it accordingly, this is a worn secondhand item, I am not responsible for any damage etc".
>>10193275Are you retarded? Sellers ARE responsible for listing damages accurately. Anon shouldn’t be selling shit if she’s too lazy to do the bare minimum and expect items/list damages accurately.
