Gyaru Jubilee was announced for Birmingham in august! Who's going? Seems like some popular gals are already saying they're gonna go

Egg got the RTs they wanted, think it's gonna be more natural looking shit or they'll pay attention to the old school revival?
>>
I so much wanted to go but I live very far (South America) and won't have money or time to go :(
I'm hoping to see many pics of you gals in the even tho!

I'm afraid they're gonna go more natural, with a little bit of old school
>>
My ass going! Glad it's in the summer but afraid itll be tooooo hot over in the UK. My planned cords are agejo and old school. I'm excited and can't wait to meet everyone
>>
I really want to go to the international meet, but I'm more of a lurker who hasn't really figured out her gal-style yet. Everyone seems so nice but I don't know if I would fit in
>>
>>10094744
I will be honest with you, an international meet should not be your first gal meet.

Did anyone else see that apex dumbassery in SnG with the noob telling chris to 'google oneegyaru' bc they said her makeup wasn't gal? Imagine looking that shit and being that arrogant about it, wew. This was a highlight too. Girl if Shiena hasn't heard of it... does it not occur to you at some point that you might be talking pure bs?
>>
>>10096265
Oh god and I just saw the 'gyaru lolita' post below it too. Honestly the absolute state of SnG.
>>
>>10096265
This group just takes any body....
>>
>>10096342
I mean they have every right to post there and make fools of themselves, it's the only way they'll learn. Just amazed that anyone can be THAT arrogant.
>>
Question to all my gyaru historians out there: when and how did WC change so much? They used to be a trendy gyaru brand. Now they're a watered down harajuku pastel style brand that sells mostly taobao knockoffs and korean brand. What gives?
>>
>>10091078
I didn't even know there were enough active gyarus for an event of that scale. My heart is all warm and fuzzy, go gyarus! It's not my style but I love that people are keeping it alive!
>>
>>10094744
>>10094869
Why not? It's the best way to get in person advice and really get to know the girls (and guys).
My first meet was an international meet and it really helped me with knowing what I had to do, because I could see their makeup and hair in person and ask them for tips, which works better than just some pictures.

>>10096807
Already 40+ people bought tickets in the first 3 weeks after announcing it. Do I smell a western revival?
>>
>>10094744
same here anon, I'm hoping on asking one of my friends for some advice.
>>
>>10096265
Reminds me of galzzang or whatever someone tried to make happen...
>>
>>10091078
I think more natural with a hint of old school sprinkle in.
>>
>>10098765
I think if you live somewhere with an active comm, it would be better to go to a smaller meet first as this one will be crazy. Also there’s no reason you can’t ask for tips at a smaller meet and therefore look better for the special occasion of an international meet, and you can get to know people in a more relaxed environment. And if you ignore local meets but show up for an international one the people organising the local meets are going to wonder why. Obviously if you don’t have a local active comm you haven’t got much choice.
>>
>>10096750
Well I'm not too sure but from what I remember, when I was in Tokyo in 2013 it was still the cool WC. I think 1~2 years later Chinatsu sold it and opened a web brand called 'Kumatan Japan' that keeps to this day to sell kumatan stuff but the brand name WC and the shops belong to Wego.
>>
>>10099021
I did try to go to a local meet a few times before but then something would happen everytime I wanted to go. Plus I feel like they would judge me even if i tried to dress in a gyaru style.

Luckily now I have a friend or two who are really into my local community when before there was no one that was my friends in these meets (plus friends that are in the group never go to the events)
>>
>>10099119
If you feel people would judge you before a small local meet, I’m sorry but a big international meet with tons of amazing gals from the old days is not going to be any less scary. I’m not saying anyone would judge you, I don’t know your comm and I know most people going to the Jubilee won’t judge you, but if you feel that pressure throwing yourself into the madness is going to be just as bad if not worse. You’ll make friends at the meets as well if you go.
>>
>>10099119
Do like me, I've only been to one casual meet years ago and I'm throwing myself head first into this one. Ofc I'm scared to meet all the veteran gal but on the other hand it's so exciting to be able to experience something like this and it's too epic to miss desu. Plus its months away, plenty of practice time!
>>
>>10099389
>>10099119
Why not go to this and go to other meets in the mean time? I don't know why people don't want to go to casual meets, I always have a really good time.
>>
>>10099403
Because they don't exist where I live..?
>>
>>10099403
>>10099525
I just realised anon has the option of attending local meets, so I agree they should totally participate. I would if I could.
>>
What’s this gyaru boom thing Reina’s talking about on Twitter?
>>
>>10099389
>>10099403
That's what I'm hoping on doing especially since I now know a friend who goes (plus she's so good with her makeup)
>>
>>10099541
Ask her on twitter, she’s usually rather open to questions.
>>
>just turned 29
>finally have enough money saved and payed off student loans
>find myself floating back to the gyaru threads because I obsessed over being a gal when I was in grade school

Is it too late to get into the style I like?
I know the immediate answer will be no, of course not. But I always loved ko-gal, and I fear dressing like that at my age will come off as fetishistic (not because of gyaru itself, but because kinksters have associated older woman wearing uniforms with kink in the public eye) rather than gaudy and fun. I don't think I look old, but I certainly don't look how I did from 14-18, which is the age I see when I look up japanese street snaps.

Is there a similar style I can wear that makes me feel a bit more secure? Or am I making a big deal out of nothing?
Sorry if this is a dumb question!
>>
>>10099938
I didn't notice that ugly harness in that image. Ignore that. I saved it because I thought the letterman jacket was cute.
>>
>>10099541
I think she wants more people to be involve in helping out in the gyaru community. Gals going to more meets, active gal blogs and updating outdated gyaru information.
>>
>>10099951
Just read the tweet and i think you've got that right. So many useless bandwagoners sitting around waiting for older gals to do 100% of the work for them, it's definitely frustrating for those of us who are actually putting the work in organising events, promoting the style, supporting the newbies who actually try etc.
>>
>>10099938
Why not try amekaji with some cute kogal elements at first and see how you feel? They're both cute, lively, youthful styles, but it's an option that doesn't involve wearing a uniform.
>>
>>10099938
Before you try any clothes get the make up down. If your make up is on point you can wear whatever the fuck you want.
>>
>>10099969
I dressed in an early 00s fashion similar to amekaji when I was a young adult, so I probably could try that! Thank you! Do you have any examples of it mixed with ko-gal?

>>10100025
Thanks! I've been looking at a ton of makeup tutorial on youtube, actually (a few I get from these threads). The makeup is where I"ll need the most practice, I'm sure, since I don't wear make up in everyday life besides a little mascara and lip color.
>>
Hello! I haven't been keeping up with gyaru for a long time. Last time I checked,neo-gyaru was a thing. Is it still?
Would you consider himekaji gyaru? Are there any "cute but sexy" substyles still alive(hime and agejo)?
>>
>>10100301
neogal isn't gyaru, himekaji is only gyaru if you wear the hair and makeup, and both are still worn in the gaijin community.
>>
Aochan sqid in her Instagram livestream that Ageha is not a gyaru magazine. I understand her reasoning but I could almost hear the gaijin gyaru screaming when she said that.
>>
>>10100301
Hime and agejo still have active fans yeah. Other anon is right on the other points.
>>
With the "Bratz challenge" going around,I want to ask,how many gal gulls had them? Would you say they influenced your style? My favourite one was Cloe
>>
>>10100855
I once had a dream that I found a shop full of Bratz clothes for humans and it was gal as fuck. This one pair of red zebra print shorts hnnnnng. Was so mad when I woke up.
>>
>>10100855
I was a bit of a tomboy and hated dolls in general and Bratz in particular because I remember suddenly all my friends not wanting to play with anything else. Now I love them lol
>>
>>10100855
I had loads of Bratz but the Rock Angelz video game is where like 90% of my style influence and bad music taste came from lmao.
>>
>>10100855
I only had one Jade doll since we were pretty poor, but it was my favourite doll in the world! I always joke how bratz lovers turn gyaru or IG baddie.
>>
>>10100914
I find the ig baddie/gyaru comparison thing very interesting. The biggest difference I find is the makeup, specially eye makeup. What differences do you all find?
>>
I loved Bratz so bad. I watched all the movies, had the games, didn't have many dolls though because we were broke but I definitely still am a Bratz doll in my head lol
>>
>>10100926
>>10100926
I think it's definitely eye make up and also heavy blush/where the contour is focused. Also I think baddies follow almost exclusively whatever is in fashion right now but gyaru take what's fashionable and make it gyaru or give it their own spin but that is more on an individual level than commentating on the fashions themselves.

Another topic of conversation: whose coords do you really love? Who always looks put together? I really love Georgie's coords because she's so good at mismatching and finding that look that screams a certain time period.
>>
>>10100384
It was.. just not anymore.
>>
>>10100968
Riko & Sarimelody
>>
Obligatory "make Valentines" prompt.
>>
>>10100926
The make up and clothes honestly. Gyaru to me is all about extreme and standing out while the IG baddie is about looking like the next Kardashian
>>
Is anyone going to the gyaru para para panel/meetup at katsu?
>>
>>10100926
Gyaru has a long range from sexy to cute. IG baddie is just sexy and unoriginal Kim K style.
>>
>>10100855
I had over 100+ they looked black or atleast mixed with it too me. I identified with them than Barbie, she didn't have big lips. I loved Bratz flamboyant style and how it wasn't cookiecutter. Idk what happen to Bratz now? I saw them in store today and they looked sooo different.
>>

Not attending Katsucon this year, but I hope all of the gyaru panels are well received!

>>10101965
Are those eyebrows a personal choice, or is there a certain way to style your eyebrows in gyaru fashion?
>>
>>10102271
Brows are often thin and arched, how you apply that to your own face is personal choice.
>>
>>10102379
Just got my own personal satisfaction, when I got into gal the local comm told me my eyebrows were too arched and gals had straight brows - were they bullshitting me?
>>
>>10102394
I guess it depends on what style you're going for. If you're more into a cuter, sweeter style, straight brows might fit better. For bolder, sexier styles, go for a more arched brows. There is not only one way to do your brows, it all depends on what fits your style and face more. So in a sense, yeah, I'd say they were bullshitting.
>>
Oh shit, what's the Blackout hiatus about? I saw Reina complaining about someone a few hours ago, I hope its not infighting because they were goals!
>>
>>10103743
Noo wtf. I loved them too. I feel like it's between her & honey...
>>

Nettasama
>>
>>10104327

>>
Does anyone know some (oldish) talk shows that featured gyaru on them, preferably with subs? I vaguely remember someone posting a link here before.
>>
>>10104780
I remember a latin america one the link could be deleted but I try to find it. Alot of videos were deleted it's been so long.
>>
Any new updates on gyaru jubilee?
>>
>>10107082
Won't be much to report until the end of the month when we have final numbers for karaoke and hotel. Anything in particular you wanted to know?
>>
>>10107082
It has only been 3 weeks since the announcement. They have 6 months untill the event.
>>
>>10103743
I'm also curious. Someone has been shitting all over Blackout members on lolcow which is really sad. They were my favourite gaijin gyarusa...
>>
>>10108027
How much do you want to bet (if it’s not a Blackout member) it’s that bitch who was shrieking about Honey and Reina being bullies on Instagram? The amino one?
>>
>>10108064
Milky? His name definitely suits being on lolcow.
>>
>>10108064
Lolcow doesn't keep up with newer gals, my bet it's a butthurt member.
>>
>>10108064
Could be but there is too much individual attacking, sadly it sounds to me like its one of the members...
>>
>>10108168
Butthurt member? Like who? I'm curious. I personally feel like it's either them or someone else in the gyaru comm
>>
>>10108520
I think it's someone else, or I hope so. Who would be so stupid as to make yourself look this bad?
>>
>>10108520
Honey, Riko or Reina.
>>
>>10108549
If they were smart, they would've waited to post about the group, not right after the incident. The post on lolcow has the same speech pattern as one of the members.
>>
>>10108549
True but bad attention is still attention for some and out of all the members. Honey seems to be the one being shady about it all. From an outside perspective
>>
>>10108728
I think it was Riko and Honey both. They both responded as leaving the group but they were kicked out probably.
>>
>>10108728
Honey's been talking mad shit on facebook, but it's not like she would have posted herself?
>>
>>10109247
She sure talks a lot for someone who has "desire to not make it a big deal", "not here for drama" and is "far too mature to stoop to the level that some seem to have done."

"I am a very direct person so I don't do shady actions" and vague posts two hours later.
>>
>>10109247
She's not apart of the group anymore with Riko. Why did someone decide to talk about the group after the incident?. The group never had negative comments until now coincidentally, right after the incident. The Blackout fb is deleted.
>>
>>10109327
Well people were asking honey and them privately about what happened sooo maybe somebody just decided to start shit talking? After they got info?? Idk because I highly doubt the group themselves would do that
>>
>>10109637
when blackout first went on hiatus I asked Reina what happened and she said two members left and that she didn’t really want to talk about it and left it at that, so I highly doubt it was reina that was chatting shit

if anything she seemed pretty sad about it
>>
>>10109666
Yeah imagine having a gal meet up only for your group to disband right after. I would be so disappointed.. The member who left is threatening Reina.
>>
>>10109725

I'm tired of gossip posts.

Black Diamond 2000 is releasing a mini CD, with several tracks and remixes of old songs. I'm super happy they are pushing their unit and they are so polished it'll bring a lot of positive attention to gyaru again!
>>
>>10110154
On the other hand I don't understand why EGG Magazine seems to... not acknowledge them as far as I know? When EGG came back I was excited as I thought that they'd invite Black Diamond on board etc. but nope.
>>
>>10110155
A lot of the blackdiamond girls were invited to the first model casting, but noone made it in.
>>
>>10110154
Are the music any good? Any links to their old stuff
>>
>>10110189
that’s so weird honestly, aochan seems like she would’ve been a great egg model

but maybe it’s just doesn’t fit with the direction their lives are going right now

I didn’t like their first single but I will still give the album a listen when it’s released
>>
>>10110155
Same like angeleek back in the day... They were on egg a few times I think but not officia2egg models, and they were the best gals in the streets. I think it's cause the modeling contract for a mag is something not everyone wanna do and also egg is going for the oldschool egg models style like Kanako and Romihi so bd is not really that style...
>>
>>10110154
What happen to the other members? Is it only 4 of them now??..
>>
>>10110154
Where can you buy it?
>>10110155
Who knows... might happen in the future.
>>
>>10110189
Damn I didn't know that. I wonder why... Kirei (obvs) and the Egg Girls Sawa and Erika are the most gal to me but dunno so far it's mostly very meh in content. I really like the direction Black Diamond has taken by bringing old school gal back but with a modern feel, and it'd be super cool to see more of their outfits and tutorials and general lifestyle ... maybe they should have their own magazine lol.
>>
>>10091078
Is the Gyaru style really dying, tho?
>>
>>10110320
Noo Black Diamond still exists! They just have an idol type subunit(?) made up by Aochan, Aichorisu, Luna and Machirin. I want them to get super big, and I think they could do it... they had full on wotagei from the audience in one of their lives and it was amazing.

https://youtu.be/_hoVc1eWaOk
You can see Aochan exclaiming in surprise at 01:36 when the wotagei gets going haha she's too cute
>>
>>10110394
Then again, Ao-chan is a bit of an otaku, of course she would be into wotagei.

>>
here’s a gal secret for you guys

I’ve been selling off all of my brand, almost giving it away, because I plan on killing myself soon. Nothing brings me joy anymore, not even the community/gyaru (which has long been my source of joy/light)

I’m just so tired of it all.
I hope my friends don’t suffer too long.
>>
>>10111105
>black person
Nothing about black people. She's basically saying that there's no such thing as shiro gyaru and gyaru have to be tanned.

She even retweeted a picture of Momo from New egg with a caption saying "This isn't gyaru!" I agree but shiro gyaru have existed since the beginning.

>>
>>10111107
I want to help but don't know how. If you want to chat and be anonymous maybe a throwaway email? I've had anxiety and depressive episodes culminating in suicidalness on/off for years so I'm always happy to listen, as some have done for me.
>>
>>10110208
I have a feeling Aochan and many of the BD gals were too thick to be accepted as models. Which is bull, cause they are hot and super cute and real gyaru, but yeah, we know what Japanese beauty standards are like.
>>
>>10111156
Aochan is curvy? I thought it was just her thighs..
>>
>>10111563
THese girls already look pretty thick if I think of some other advertisements I’ve seen.

The BD gals as well as the Genex gals were asked to go to the auditions for egg, but I agree on you. They’re too ‘natural’ to be accepted as models.
>>
>>10111107

>>
What the fuck is happening in SnG?
>>
>>10121803
An old generation, irrelevant gyaru kicking up a fuss because no one gave her attention is my guess.
>>
>>10121803
She used to organise the international meets, stopped years ago and is now irrelevant, but still thinks she has a right to shit on anyone else who picks up the torch. She's never supported or attended a single international event that her circle didn't run, and now nobody new knows who she is, so all she's achieved is making a complete embarrassment of herself. It's fun to spectate tho.
>>
>>10121808
I feel bad for Lizzie reading her response. The girl is lowkey right form a legal perspective about using her footage without permission to sell and event but everything she’s said is just petty about the hotels and the like. It’s like that old Natalia Kills meme.
>>
>>10121830
Na. These are non profit events of an obscure alternative fashion. No one is making buck. And who owns the photo anyway? Did this girl take it herself? Is she the owner of the entire event, was her gyarusa also in charge? Does she own international meets? No lol. She's just being pathetic end of.
>>
>>10121830
I went through and highlighted all the outright lies in her post. Like the getting to Birmingham thing- Danielle literally made a whole post about that? She clearly has a vendetta.
>>
>>10121837
I don’t know the ins and outs of her situation because I have no idea how she is but she’s claiming she was in charge of these events and owns the footage so I’m just going by that.

Of course, even if she was in charge of it, I think she’s out of line. She could’ve just DMed somebody and asked them not to use her footage and putting herself out there like that is making herself look stupid.
>>
>>10121839
Never said she didn’t have a vendetta, that part is crystal. I highly doubt she’s going to take action against her footage being used but I was just being objective.
>>
>>10121849
Oh yeah for sure, but as the other anon said, it's easy to just dm if there's an issue.
>>
>>10121849

Well she got her attention now. I don't know what she thought she was doing. She's making herself look bad, not Amber or Queen E. Like did you really crawl out of the woodwork for this? What???
>>
>>10121884
The golden ages of gyaru....
Its never too late to start it back up.
>>10121796
Thanks it was d.i.a.
>>
>>10121805
Kitai, if you're reading this, get some help. You're delusional.
>>
>>10122458
I'm genuinely slightly concerned. She hasn't been active or relevant in the comm for what, at least two years? And she was clearly hoping she'd come into SnG, denounce the event and everyone would decide not to go. Breaking news, no-one cares. I think she forgot Lizzie was in Queenie because going for anyone as nice as Lizzie is a bad look. Why the particular vendetta against this event?
>>
>>10122483
I did hear rumours that she was planning something for this year, but no clue how reliable that is- i did see some post from her about organising a meet for gals who aren't going to Birmingham which is kinda pathetic. The whole of Plutonium is going so not even they support her vendetta. She's committed social suicide.
>>
Is there a gyaru version of Lace Market? I'm wanting to get into this style, but I have no idea where to look and it seems like all the big stores that used to sell gyaru fashion don't really sell anymore.
>>
>>10122739
There’s the Jfashion part on Lacemarket, where you can find all kind of non Lolita Jfashion.
>>
>>10122739
Find brands you like and search on Japanese mercari, best tip I ever had. If you don't know what brands you like find outfits you like and post here and we can help. Western sites tend to be overpriced but facebook or kei circlly have some stuff.
>>
>>10122518
I wonder why she didn't lose her shit over Paris or Chicago or Eindhoven...is it just the video?
>>
>>10122739
Kei Market, you can even use your lacemarket account with it
>>
>>10111107
Alright everyone, let's sift through eBay, Lacemarket, Keimarket, and Mercari and find out what user name is continuously selling gyaru items dirt cheap

Kei Market! I hadn't looked at it because I figured it was for VKei, but I'll keep an eye out for brands I like. And I forgot about Jp Mercari. Is there a decent ss that will let me order through them? I've used one for Otamart, but never Jp Mercari.

>>10122830
I hadn't seen the above post before I asked, but I really hope that person isn't serious or is reconsidering. If you're still lurking, >>10111107, I hope you find someone to talk with. My discord is Again#9700 if you ever need anyone to just vent to, and I'm sure other gulls would be open to talking with you as well. I've been in a bad depression episode for a couple of years now, so I know it gets bad and it's hard to reach out. No pressure if you don't want to, but I thought I'd offer.
>>
>>10122876
Well if they are serious, I'm gonna deduce who it is and get them help somehow

Please don't do it, the community literally needs all of us, it wouldn't be the same without you
>>
>>10122739
Depop is a good start. I found many/rare items there.
>>
>>10122898
I feel like its Reina her social media sites just disappeared. If not her, manaypi I think...is her name on depop.
>>
>>10122821
She was part of the Eindhoven group but bailed halfway through.
>>
>>10122935
That was so shitty. All that noise about supporting the scene and in the end she didn't even show up. Does she go to literally anything that isn't in Frankfurt? No wonder Birmingham seems difficult to get to if your lazy ass won't leave your own town.
>>
>>10122927
There is a whole bunch of stuff on lolcow right now about her abusing her then ex-boyfriend (and in discord they uncovered proof that she's not half Japanese like she's been claiming.)
>>
>>10122955
Don't believe everything you read on there. You're saying this like it's all facts. It's gossip.
>>
>>10122971
They have screenscaps... Yikes.
>>
>>10122927
if you search her real name eteria drummer on facebook there's a massive post about her harassing another girl that started dating her ex. theres caps of reina's apology and her friends claiming she apologized so there's no denying its true. holy fuckkk. and the chat is realllyyy messy right now. i didnt know she was like this.
>>
I mean if we all are just going to start and get down on a person , based off bitches with no balls on an anonymous bored, then I guess we should just dig up everyone's past then?

She already admitted it and apologized and left it at that.
>>
that apology was really shitty ngl gonna have to be careful around her from now on. Cant believe she was lying about her background too... sigh
>>
>>10122993
It looks like she tried to dox the girl in the post after she made it. That's not something somebody does when they're sorry. Very disappointing.
>>
>>10122993

Ngl the gyaru community is shit lol I thought this was suppose to welcome community when I started and helping people but it looks like it's just tearing folks down about shit that happened in what? 2014?

I remember everyone was on sheinas ass for being deported for a crime she done but stopped once she silenced herself on social media and call me crazy but as soon as those 2 left blackout drama just happend to spilled all over the internet..
>>
>>10122955
what’s the discord link?
>>
I always knew she wasnt Japanese
>>
>>10123007
Looks like she tried to reveal the mums address two years ago.

The comm is definitely a crumbling mess. It will probably continue to be that way though with people like Reina (and her "friends") infiltrating. If she's weird enough to invade someone's home, then I don't doubt she's the cause of Blackout losing people.
>>
>>10123014
So what you want her to do? Leave the comm? You making it seem like she's the one plus her friends are causing problems in the gal community when her problems was due to personal stuff nothing related to gal whatsoever besides purin being an ex-Gal but people talked shit about her too. I just don't see a reason to push somebody out/treated them differently due to crazy stuff that they done to a couple of years ago, yes it was batshit crazy but you can tell she changed. I just dont see why everyone's hanging up on her when we have 15+ people in the comm that should be gone.

Also Honey and riko left due to them just trying to cause shit out of now where.
>>
>>10123014
Reina does enough good for the comm to make it thrive and you guys repay her by talking shit on an anonymous site about what she did in her past? Grow up.
She learned from it, she moved on. Are you guys really this bored to rip one of your own to shreds? Pethatic.
>>
>>10123024
hmmm if shes still lying about her race as of now theres no telling what else shes lying about. I'm not gonna be a white night for her and end up looking stupid later down the road. I will def sit and watch how things unfold. History repeats itself
>>
>>10123024
that’s what the fuck happens when you cross a bunch of people in the same subgroup. eventually the chickens come to roost. your white knighting doesn’t erase the fact that she’s the common denominator with a lot of local drama.
>>
lololol oh man. This is why I never engaged with Reina. She gives off crazy vibes. Sociopaths tend to be really charming on the outside but sometimes you can just tell when somebody is screwed up. Glad I trusted my gut LMFAO
>>
>>10123018
lol Anon, she can do whatever the fuck she wants. Do abusive people change? Normally, no. Is Reina an abuser? Probably. Should other gyaru keep a healthy distance? I know I am!
>>
>>10123018
Not everyone anon. I'm grateful for what Reina has done to keep gyaru alive. I also don't care what she did years ago because painful breakups can 'cause you to do some crazy shit.
>>
>>10123045
Speak for yourself. She hasn't done anything out of the ordinary. Plenty of people can organize sub-par meetups and panels. I'm sorry but it's the truth.
>>
How does one even pronounce gyaru?
>>
nobody wants to take on that role except her because the community is dying... but people are speculating she does gal stuff to get that ex back. That's fucking weird
>>
>>10123046
Why hasn't someone did then hmm??...
As I recall she even helped with amino so?? "I" means myself not the whole gyaru community.
>>
>>10123048
Like saying Thank Ya, except with a G sound (Thang Ya) then Ru like “Ruler”
>>
>>10123051
they saying it's a long winded revenge plot and after looking thru those caps. bitch I dont doubt it. it's a bit funny becuz I scrolled thru jade's posts and shes not even gal anymore. dis too much omg
>>
The gaijin gyaru comm is always imploding. There's not enough people involved to keep it alive. Those that have stuck around secretly just hate eachother. And as friendships are destroyed, people just end up leaving. RIP gyaru
>>
>>10123032
I dont partcipate for this reason. I can tolerate a lot but these people just do too much. I dont think the lolitas have a home invasion crossed off their list yet lmaooo
>>
>>10123050
Does her ex even know what gyaru is? He could've liked the other girl for her smile or something not gyaru.
>>
>>10123053
Nah I'd say it's a softer r. Like "pomodoro"

>>
>>10123192
Nah anyways..
>>
>>10123192
Right change of topic since no one have anything relevant to contribute..

Serious question, how come there are more gals in Europe than they are in America? Is Europe more open to alternative fashion than America? Or is it something else?
>>
>>10123312
More mentally ill people with more money.
>>
Are there any up to date style/western store guides? The lack of info may be contributing to the lack of new people.
>>
>>10123312
Well for starters traveling to japan and buying from a shopping service is cheaper in Europe. America on the other hand... you have to pay an arm and leg. Americans are too busy worshipping the kardashians and wack baddie style or whatever.
>>10123369
Nope.
>>
>>10123312
More Europeans fit in Japanese clothes
>>
>>10123398
maybe we should work on that, breathe some new life into things.
>>
>>10124026
I agree! but for some reason alt styles doesn't last too long here beside the Kardashian bs

>>
>>10125769
Reina was unprofessional on how she'd handled the situation. All drama would never started if she just private message or call whoever it was. Posting the drama public was bound to start something. I applaud Riko for not answering any questions and not even talking about it. I wish reina and honey did the same.
>>
>>10125800
There’s Yumachi and Yukipoyo channel in YT, as well as Vanilla
>>
>>10125916
What makes you think that it was Reina who posted on the board and not the girl themselves who left? Way to shift the blame. Everything was private, the messages and all someone decided to shit up the thread. There's screenshots to prove it
>>
>>10125926
The only screenshots posted on lolcow are public FB posts, so I have no idea what you're talking about. You can see the "public" marker on the screenshots and search them openly in Facebook.

Reina is definitely spamming the thread defending the Japanese heritage thing (now proven false), that's for sure. And getting angry that people are talking about her shady background of cheating/lying/harassment.
>>
>>10125486
the akipoyo gyaru-sa are fun to follow
>>
>>10125929
She still has friends and I'm sure they are the ones defending her in lolcow.

Also I haven't seen anything about her sperging on about her heritage besides what you're telling me. The screenshots are not public so ill just discard that but I just know that none of the members ( ex members too) decided for this to escalate to a drama forum. She told us in the leader group chat that honey and riko left. No questions asked.
>>
>>10125940
i dont trust her anymore
>>
The fact that we need to be assured she still has friends. im screaming.
>>
>>10125947
That's understandable.
>>
>>10125926
It wasn't private Reina posted about it on her twitter. It was about someone thinking her chill demeanor as fake. Then Honey made a ig post about it to fuel the flames. Just talk it out in private no need to air your problems to the public. You're mature adults just sit down and talk this out, no need for high school bickering.
>>
>>10125940
One of the members is still escalating the drama. Nemo was posted on the site. She's not really known outside of blackout. Whoever posting blackout has a vendetta against the whole group besides 2 members.
>>
>>10126012
Yeah the constant shade throwing shouldn't have happened, I agree.

>>10126014
Yeah I saw that which was really weird, this whole thing just opened up a opportunity for people to release whatever issues they had on them.
>>
This drama is dull, can we have another deranged bitter rant from kitai instead? That was way more fun.
>>
>>10126161
Speaking of her, is she her gyarusa still alive/active? Why she went into hiding for 2 years and decided to pop back up?
>>
>>10126291
Plutonium is still alive but Kitai isn't a member anymore.
>>
>>10126293
None of them got involved in her ranting, did they? I wonder how they felt about it.
>>
>>10126161
Boring yawn.
>>10125947
Not me either. I'm in for another gyaru ambassador.
>>
>>10126161
Okay Reina.
>>
>>10126341
There is not "ambassador" just people who do say more than most folks in the community. People barely want to do anything for the community besides the usual gals. Most if not all of the gyarusa are in Europe and not many in America, only like 3 afaik.
>>
>>10126343
No* way**
>>
>>10126343
I wouldn't call her a ambassador she did one meet and doesn't contribute much.
>>
>>10126354
True but to be really noticed is to have a very active media presence and group/circle. Akipoyo may not hosted a meet but they're popular in the gal community because they're the very active, outgoing gals and are constantly involved in events etc in their area. That's what I mean by contributing. All "contributing " is about is hosting meets/summits and be very active online and offline.
>>
just when SnG got rid of daily posts from the two-tone hair girl, we get this new fakeboi gyaru with his crusty stash. pepa you being way too nice, where did all the bitchy gals go? I remember when i first joined the group in ~ 2014 i got my ass handed to me
>>
>>10126372
They grew out the style I kind of miss them. The new gals have too much asskissing sometimes you have to put your foot down.
>>
>>10126342
I just have better taste in drama than this anon, the reina stuff is old as shit and anyone with connections saw it years ago
>>
>>10126537
Some of us don't follow Reina. She must be popular among black gyaru I never heard of her. Kitai is a "has been" and isn't gyaru anymore so no point in talking about her. Stale milk *yawn* Kitai was outed as being a conniving bitch 5 yrs ago, keep up.
>>
I'm excited baby phat is coming back!! Alot of pieces look similar to d.i.a. The left is baby phat and right d.i.a.
>>
>>10126559
>She must be popular among black gyaru I never heard of her

Um, Reina's been very active in SnG? There's no separate black gyaru group anymore so where'd you get that impression?
>>
>>10126591

I'm going to be so broke so quick lol
>>
>>10126597
I'm astonished SnG hasn't lost momentum yet. Has it changed?? Last I heard huge shit broke out? I never returned or looked back after that.
>>
>>10126623
It has become more and more active the past months.
>>
Seeing the stuff about brown vs black eyelashes has me wondering where exactly some of these newbies have been hiding all their lives. Gyaru or not, everyone uses black eyelashes??? Pale people wear black eyelashes and eyeliner all the time it's nothing ground-breaking.
>>
>>10126984
That girl doesn’t want to be gyaru. She wants Jesus Diamanté and larme make up at best.
>>
>>10126372
At least he's taking and applying crit better than the two-toned hair girl or the girl who keeps trying to not wear visible makeup
>>
>>10127014
Real talk. Honestly, why do people think they can be gyaru without make-up? When you search ‘gyaru’ up you get the old skool examples where their makeup is very heavy. How do they look at that and then decide that they can be gyaru with natural makeup it makes no sense.
>>
>>10127658
When you search gyaru on instagram you get Liz lisa crap and girls with no makeup.
>>
What's with the newbs not LOOKING for shit??? Stupid ass questions that could be answered...if you went to google..
>>
>>10127716
Those times are over now they want you to spoon feed them.
>>
>>10127716
>>10127786

>>
Does anyone know what happen to Shiena? She hasn't updated instagram in weeks?
>>
>>10127883
Probably just hasn't had any cute outfits or events to post. She's still active on facebook as usual.
