I love houjo Shuumatsu Ryokou!

I know some other anon asked this a while ago, but what jackets do these potatos wear? I want to get something similar.
>>4178926I answered that other anon. In my opinion, the US N3B looks most like Yuu's but its entirely too warm for any practical use. More practical is a US M65 with this furry hood that buttons onto the collar but it doesn't quite look right with its large pockets. For her jacket you'd probably have a better time just looking for some jacket with the fur hood, an N3B is expensive and impractical for something like this unless you're Canadian. Chi's jacket is a bit easier I think. The Belgian M64 has the pockets and the big full size hood a lot of milsurp lacks, favoring a collar. They are also really cheap and lightweight so you can actually wear it comfortably. My only problem with it is that the Belgians really thought that Velcro was the future and it uses Velcro for every possible fastener which I find annoying.
>>4178953Thanks! I was looking at the US M51, its what the merch jacket says its based off of, but they are all really expensive. There seems to be a lot more M65s for more reasonable prices.
>>4178926I researched that heavily. there is no exact match.this is the closest thing you will find to chito's coathttps://www.surplusandlost.co.uk/product/belgian-army-surplus-m64-water-resistant-olive-green-hooded-jacket/the US M51 is bullshit because there are acctually multiple different coats/jackets referred to as the M51. no one fucking knows what an M51 is. The M51 is supposed to be chitos and the parka variants look less like it than the above.here is an M51 that looks like yuu's;https://www.fishtailparkas.com/authentic-m-1951-parka.htmlPersonally I used the very good and functional German army parka for my GLT cosplay. it is very close to chito's coat; it has some similar features, 4 pockets, sometimes name tag velcro, hood, cuff straps.https://www.asmc.com/german-army-parka-reproduction-olive-greenthey are widely available and usually about £70, they used to be £15 when i bought mine about 5 years ago. There's a LOT of preproductions out there, they are lower quality but still look the part. as with all army surplus things, check the sizing, they were often made custom to one person's sizing, so have a unique chest, height and arm sizing.
you may also be interested to know that their rations are calorie mate, they even have the same flavours as calorie mate.calorie mate is basically just shortbread so you can make it yourself if you want.
>>4178972The M51 makes sense. IIRC it's the predecessor to the M65 and uses that same button on hood with the fur trim. I suppose that would make the M65 with the same hood a decent substitute. The hood certainly sells it more than anything. Either way there would still be modification to be done for the rest of the fur trim. I'm sure just about any OD green military jacket could be used with that in mind. Realistically anything that already has the fur trim was made for extremely cold environments anyway so it'd be more practical to have something a little lighter.
>>4179484I cheaped out and am trying a jacket from amazon, it does look pretty similar though.
>>4179490Still a fine choice. While there's certainly some influence and inspiration I don't think there's any one jacket that fits perfectly. You'd do just as well to save some money and do it yourself.

>>4178926Chito's jacket is on pre-order at Amiami right now, but if you'd rather not get the exact same jacket, you're better off going with what the other anons have said.
Not really related but wanted some opinions on of yall thought my low poly head model had moetential. Been working with 3d for a whole 4 days(so they're all very much WiPs) and trying to make some head models for a tank game that I can just repaint and swap out. Am I at least heading(heheh) in the right direction for cute?
>>4182005Different face with one of the tanks I'm working on.
>>4182005I don't want Yuu's face to be sad, fix that, also she needs longer hair, otherwise it's bretty gud.
>>4182005i suppose try making her more wide. and make her eyes a bit more apart from each other. i think
