>>4080108Good work anon.
>>4080114Ty. Trying to improve.

>>4080476Give me one. Maybe I’ll attempt it.
>>4080630draw her in spandex bike shorts and a sports bra(and sweating if thats possible)
>>4080793No.
>>4080831nigger
>>4080630Dorothy playing keytar
>>4081406That I could attempt possibly.
Happy maid day to the best maid.
>>4081814think she ever wished she knew what food tasted like?
>>4081907Probably. She became progressively more and more human as the series went on. She kept a lot of it to herself though. She liked music and playing the piano, she felt embarrassment when not being able to ride the elevator with Roger because she exceeded the weight limit. She struggled with being obedient to Roger and standing up for herself.
>>4081907I would say very likely but it doesn't seem to bother her too much as long as she gets to partake in dining with others as it makes her feel more human.
>>4082445her insecurity about being a robot is so adorable.
>>4066430
>>4082195if she could gain new emotions could she gain new senses? like how in the giver the apprentice recognized color for the first time
>>4083474Unless she can magically grow taste buds I doubt it, in order to gain new senses that would mean actually modifying her with the right modules to do so which is impossible since the only person who knows how to do that would be her father who's dead. Dorothy is a very mysterious character in that we don't know exactly how she functions which roger even asks her himself and even dorothy's father didn't seem to understand either. It just goes to show you how brilliant the writing was, even the characters themselves are walking mysteries.
>>4083476theres even more advanced androids like senator roscoe and big ear, im sure those parts are available
>>4083491The senator was an ancient android from before the amnesia and incredibly outdated compared to dorothy. Same can probably be said for big ear, I'm just speaking hypothetically. If you wanted a feature like that you would need to obviously modify the android with the corresponding parts but doing something like that is completely unnecessary which is why dorothy is built the way she is. She's purely mechanical.
>>4083495theyre way more advanced though, they seemed far more human
>>4083505They're not, they just learned to behave more human due to being around longer. That has nothing to due with how they're built. Dorothy is still in that awkward stage because she's still fairly new.
>>4083507so none of her emotions are real anyway?
>>4083513Is anything real in paradigm? That's kind of whole point of the show, you're supposed to question whether the reality they live in is real or not, same applies to it's inhabitants. Dorothy is pretty much the embodiment of that, you can't tell where the human part of her begins and where machine ends.
>>4084176Manga dorothy is so cute.
>>4084178Yes, very

Always wondered why Dorothy has dark circles under her eyes. Not saying I don’t like it, makes her look mysterious, but it does seem like an odd design choice. Not sure what about her it’s supposed to convey.
>>4091313I think it's make up like eye shadow or mascara. Most girls from the 50's/60's wore it and you see a few other background characters in the show wear it as well.
what would be the perfect date with dorothy?
>>4093449
>>4093449Take her to a nice restaurant where they play live music.
>>4093458id imagine this playing while we dine on fine steak at candle light. sad she cant taste it thoughhttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9P9QUgurzHs
Improving alittle.
>>4095934Good work anon keep at it and you'll get better.
>>4098462why is she bandaged
>>4098794Something to do with halloween, not really sure cause the lost memory volumes still haven't been translated.
>>4100852would dorothy enjoy makeup?
>>4100852I could totally see Dorothy sitting in front of a big vanity mirror at the beginning and end of every day just staring at herself, removing her daily makeup ect. This makes me wonder, did Dorothy ever have her own room at Rogers or did she literally just spend all her time in the living room?
>>4101119Pretty sure she's wearing eyeliner and eye shadow all the time so yes.>>4101136I don't think so, when she got her memory ripped out towards the end of the series they kind of just laid her down in the middle of rogers room on a table covered by a sheet which leads me to believe she doesn't have her own room or it got totaled in the attack. Manga is a bit different since they dress her in her nightgown and sit her in a rocking chair after the same thing happens.
>>4101119Pretty sure she does wear black upper eye shadow, light blueish lower eye shadow and eyeliner by choice and not just design and I’m pretty sure she wore blush at the Nightingale. Funny that she thinks black is tacky, but she also wore such dark gothic looking makeup.
>>4101141It's not gothic, it was pretty common in the 50's and 60's for women to wear thick eyeliner and lots of makeup which more or less the anime is based off albeit with a futuristic dystopian twist of course.
So this talk about the makeup makes me think, did she consciously make her appearance so dreary as a rebellious effort to look as different from the real Dorothy as she could?
>>4101149What do you mean by dreary? She only wears black because of rogers house rules and even then she still rebels against him by wearing something that's not even completely black. As for the makeup I can only assume she wears more of it to seem more lifelike and give off the impression she's human since she is insecure about her robotic nature.
>>4101151doesnt she have a pretty limited range of emotions?
>>4101152No she just chooses not to emote in order to annoy roger in order to hide any vulnerability . Whenever she does it's in an extremely unconventional way or whenever she or someone she cares about is in danger.
>>4101156Here's a version in better resolution anon.
>>4101160Thanks, bro
