I am a grad engineer at a large firm. I was presenting on a technical part of a design and a higher up lady from the marketing team exclaimed "I don't understand the point of that". Coming to this thread late so someone might have already said it, but the autists guide to presenting I follow is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ask “Did that answer your question?” And if they say no you try it in another way. You also have to stop frequently and ask “does anyone have any questions on this” to make sure you’re getting everything across clearIf anyone has any tips for me, I feel like I have a very bad habit of droning on about a single topic for 5-10 minutes solo and getting into all the minute details until everyone’s bored to death, but I’m not sure of a better way to get the critical information across and in my mind if I’m presenting on it most of the information is critical.
