If they are going to go for CBDCs that are open source and make APIs available so they potentially support programability then how do they stop people bridging them. For example the Bank of England releases a CBDC, what stops Avalanche building an SGX bridge, like the ETH and BTC one, so people can bridge Pounds on chain. They could blacklist addresses, or even burn your coins, but that would just show how totalitarian the whole thing is and dissuade people from ever using it.
