If I keep my silver in tubes and I don't open those tube too often or fondle the silver too often, and these tubes live in a fire and water proof box, then will that silver tarnish over the course of decades?

Silver tarnishes from sulfer in the air, so if your container is airtight and put in a place with very little air circulation, there's a good chance they won't tarnish.

>Negligent Discharge
I've had this happen to me a few times

>At friends apartment at college. Just bought my first pistol from a gun show (I was 18)
>Drinking with friends
>Show them my new Jericho
>Try to manually decock
>Thumb slips on hammer, ND into celling
>Upstairs neighbors too high and drunk (underage and illegal drugs) to call the police.

Second time
>At range
>Showing friend pistol
>Think gun is unloaded
>Point at ground show him how to wrack and pull the trigger.
>Forgot loaded mag in
>Shoot between his feet

Third time
>At parents house.
>Just bought a sig from a guy
>Get home
>Try swapping slides with another sig I had
>Forgot the other sig slide was chambered.
>Pull trigger
>Shoot parents wall

Fourth time
>At my new house
>Playing with a friend's 5.56 AK
>Release bolt
Slam fires round into ground

Fith time
>Showing a friend how to use it
>No idea how but a round got chambered
>Show him how the trigger works,
>Pull trigger
>Shoots round into floor in the same place as before

Sixth time
>Thought maybe the house was haunted
>Grab a sig
>Physically clear it, (racked the slide 3 times) with no magazine in
>pull trigger at the same hole
>Round goes off

Seventh time
>Friend brings over a used Glock wants me to look over it
>I grab it and pull the trigger without clearing it
>Didn't even realize the thing was loaded.

Eighth time
>Friend brings over his transferable Mac 10
>I had no idea how open bolt guns worked.
>He's showing it off to me
>I put a loaded mag it and decided to try and release the bolt (I thought it shot from a closed bolt)
>Pulled the trigger for some reason
>Shot 3 rounds into my wall

Overall you shouldn't feel too bad about NDs. It's part of owning guns, and you should get used to them

Might as well finish the 2016 series now, before premiums on them start to get real nutty like the ATB 5ozt quarters or type 1 silver eagles. Scored the standing liberty for 550 because it had a red spot. i really just buy the best deal, or figure out a way to jew down the price somehow. Debating selling about 2.5 oz of gold to fund some other pieces while prices are high right now. its a gamble.

You clearly don't understand currency or cryptocurrency. You will never have enough gold to back an entire currency. Even if you did, what incentive would people have to run nodes? They can't mine the cryptocurrency, because it's supposedly gold backed, which would require the number of coins in circulation to reflect the amount of gold you have in reserves, which means no blockchain mining. You would have to mint cryptocurrency based on your gold reserves, which would require public audits, which means you couldn't have a public blockchain ledger. Therefore, you couldn't have decentralization or trustlessness of the network, which means you have scamcoin that nobody trusts. All of this, and you also suffer from the inabilty of your economy and monetary supply to expand, causing deflation, because of the lmao gold standard.

You literally know nothing about any of these topics. You're just regurgitating words and phrases you've heard from people far smarter than yourself reference.

well thats disheartening that there wasnt anything closer to the top, but dont give up anon! Try busting up the bottom bedrock of the cracks, and see if there are any dips or fissures off to the sides that might be hiding gold. A good example i ve run into in the past, is gold for some reason gets stuck to the edge of the bedrock, often to clay, and never travels down into the crack further. Its really odd, it makes no sense, but it happens. Keep at it friend!

Since the members are hopefully like-minded, you can use the tokens for transactions, but then settle transactions with delivery. Infact, you could probably make the delivery operation the legitimate business entity that gets hit by the tax man
>threats?
the tax man and costs. You should probably charge fees (which deters wider adoption), and you'll probably end up running into trouble if there's a bunch of transactions going on, but the tax man isn't getting "what they expect".

>I see posts everywhere about people finding sterling silver at their local thrift stores but whenever I go to mine I can only ever find silverplate flatware if anything. Where do you guys live that they're chucking out sterling??

I've found scrap in every state I've been in but some areas have entrenched and experienced competition that has been doing it for years and knows the restocking schedule of the different thrift stores, so they probably just get to it before you do. For example my Goodwill rolls out fresh carts of stuff every day whereas the other thrift restocks while closed over the weekend and opens at 11 on Tuesdays, so that's when i go in for the best chance at cheapies. Talk to the shop owners and figure out their schedules. Over time you'll learn that different shops have varying degrees of proficiency with PMs and are better at screening out certain types of stuff. I've never found sterling spoons or forks at either local shop but have found good silver and gold jewelry at both and lots of big hollow-ware and weighted silver items at Goodwill. In a neighboring town is a shop that's good at screening jewelry but they let sterling silverware and even once a bar of bullion go cheap. You're not going to find fat loads of sterling or karat gold every day with minimal effort, it usually requires more time and strategy than the posts talking about good scores let on. I have had the best luck with the least time investment going to estate sales at opening on the first day looking for cheap silver, your chances of finding awesome goodies are far better when rummaging through the stuff people kept until death versus stuff people didn't want to keep and then donated to a thrift store. Pic related is an estate sale haul I enjoyed, it was a loaded house and they had a room full of jewelry, surely a ton of gold but it got swarmed by boomers so I ran around the rest of the house scooping up the sterling while the competition was busy. Good luck anon.

Maybe some gold indians, finish the 2016 reissues. Maybe some more saints. Might wait it out a bit, see if spot dumps. Just some more interesting stuff. Paid under 13 for the ounce, paid 650?ish for the $10 piece, similar prices on all that stuff, had it for 3-4 years now. I've come out ahead on it, decided to take some profit and maybe put it back into some different golds. Hopefully it will dump soon. Seems a bit high honestly.

Maybe I should have waited until after the fed met honestly. When the market dumps, pms dump. They regain after however. It's a done deal now anyway, hopefully it will dump and we can all get some cheepies soon. I can always put this on my car loan, which would probably be the response choice.

Don’t know how deep I can get. It’s a lot of material to move if you’re alone. And normally I always get some fines all over the place, but nothing there, so I’m afraid that the outside bend just does it’s textbook thing. If I go back to that spot I’ll give the cracks on the sides a try though. That’s an easy 20 minutes.

Been outside all day doing outside stuff waiting for this FedEx cunt to show up. Supposed to be here between 10am and 2pm, but no later than 8pm. So here I sit, again, at the mercy of some stupid bastard that holds my gold...

There’s a bunch of known gold districts 50 and 100km upstream, but most stuff I’m getting is very angular, so there must be something closer.
Also, I find fines literally everywhere. (Apart from that crack…)
Gotta check out the creeks in the very close by lead-silver mining district. Wouldn’t be surprised if those contain some gold which was only a very minor component of the main veins.

Depends, what kind of fractional are we talking here? If it's something nice like sovs or pre-33 then keep them. If it's random shit like "animals of Canada series 2" or "battle of the spacific ocean" then I'd get something nicer.
If you've got 2 ounces and want a big coin, you should trade up for a 50 pesos coin and keep the remaining .80 ounces in fractional.
