Is it possible to make easy money without sinning?
>>
>>53434210
I remember a christian guy who made a coin.
>He ended up getting scammed.
>>
>>53434210
>I tell you it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of god
What part is hard to understand?
>>
>>53434210
be clergy
>>
>>53434210
We all sin ceaselessly no matter what we do.
>>
>>53434218
But through Christ, all things are possible. Based Jesus makes it possible for the rich man to ride a camel into the needle eye of heaven

Yes, but once you become rich it's a sin not to donate it to a worthy cause. Only make enough to support a tradwife and the fight against degeneracy.
>>
>>53434210
No. Capitalism and profit seeking demands evilmaxxing. Lying, cheating, stealing, exploitation, slavery, conflict and war are mecessary behaviors to adopt
>>
>>53434227
This. Even if you work a simple mcdonald’s job you’ll be cursing and sinning through the day anon..
>>
>>53434409
Literally untrue. Profitmaxxing demands evil, but profit doesn't demand evilmaxxing. You can still gain lots of profit, even if some methods are off-limits to you.
>>
>>53434218
The eye of a needle is the hard part to understand. As it can be interpreted as the smaller door at the entry way to a city which is human sized and in which a camel could only fit through if you stripped it bare, of all possessions. In this context the camel through the eye of the needle is possible but the lesson is that to enter the kingdom of god you cannot bring any material attachments. Meaning that you should not put anything above the lord. And to be ready to let go of it all to enter the kingdom of god.
OP, it's your intentions with the money that god is more interested in.
>>

Boy, screenshot this, print it and put it somewhere you can see every day.

it's not that it's impossible to make money without sinning, it's that placing money as your priority will often lead you to sin or compromise yourself in ways you wouldn't otherwise do. also, once you have the wealth, your fear of losing this wealth may push you to compromise your integrity down the line, "sunk cost fallacy" and all that.

for example, getting the clot shot to keep a comfy job. not exactly a sin, but the type of demoralizing compliance that makes going aginst your conscience normal.

and THIS is why I sit in my room all day and work as little as necessary. my laziness is only coincidental.

that said, if you're especially talented or committed to a craft, and don't make an idol of it, I don't see why working hard and getting rich would require you to sin. you just have to do it with vigilance and be honest with yourself, which is very hard and rare.

>little children, keep yourselves from idols, amen

>>
>>53435604
Evidently you think you do. He said and I quote >>53434218
Again, what part is hard to understand? Go back and read who he was talking to before that. He told the fella to give all his money to the poor if he wanted to follow Christ. Will you do what he said or will you perform mental gymnastics to try (and fail) to get that camel through the eye of that needle?
Shameless sinner, repent.

>>
>>53436065
You're being dishonest and unfaithful in your arguement. You know very well that very has many interpretations as does much of the bible. But you insist your like ideas are the way it is any try shut down anyone who questions. This is exactly how kikes control the church.
>>53436360
No, my dicks bigger!
>>
>>53437362
So what do you think Jesus meant when he said “give what you have to the poor and follow me”? I’m genuinely curious what other interpretations there are for this. Please, enlighten us.
>>
>>53437463
>>53437362
This verse in particular. Do you want to be a perfect Christian or don’t you? If not, how do you spin this so that you DON’T have to give up everything you own?
>>
>>53437499
Oh and here it is in Mark.
>>
>>53437463
You left out what he said just before that.
>"If you want to be perfect, "
Can we be perfect? Was Jesus not sent to absolve us of our imperfections?
And the grander context. He was talking to a rich man who was claiming he did everything right but was not having spiritual success. Jesus recognised his material possessions were of great importance to him. That they were holding him back spiritually and the only way this man would enter the Kingdom of God would be the rid himself of these material attachments.
The lesson from this is much different to the interpretation you push forward.
>>
>>53437499
is this pseudo for surrendering your assets to gain entry to the citadel?
>>
>>53436445
>That's the reality, the global supply chain distances you from slavery so that the cost of your sins is no longer front of mind.

>>
>>53437582
Here is a passage to refute what you’ve just said. Here he leaves out the “perfect” part and is actually talking to his flock at large. Care to comment on this, sinner?
>>
>>53437665
This is in Luke btw.
>>
>>53437689
I follow Jesus not Luke.
You can ahve your beliefs and I'll have mine. All good.
>>
>>53437729
Enjoy hell and give my regards to Satan, rejector of the Gospel and of Scripture, and follower of the Devil. Here is one last passage for you, from Psalms. Do you think Christ didn’t believe in the words of Psalms? He said “I have not come to erase the law, not one jot of it, but to fulfill the law”. He even quoted Psalms on the cross: “Eli, Eli, Lama Sabachthani?”
Or do you not believe the gospel accounts of the crucifixion either?

If you claim to follow Jesus, get right with him. There is never much time.
>>
Jesus is just a slave of God
>>
>>53437947
You're now trying to twist a straight forward passage about being generous and not stealing into saying it supports your prior claim.
I knew when you bought up Luke that you intend to do this all day. Like all kikes on here.
>>
>>53435546
>that said, if you're especially talented or committed to a craft, and don't make an idol of it
unless it's maliciously employed i don't really see how you can make an idol of work?
there's too many passages to quote but generally work is considered good, not just in the bible either but most religions/traditions
>>
>>53434210
Making easy money is a sin my son.
>>
>>53438029
>This passage disagrees with my internal philosophy. What should I say?
>>I follow Jesus, not Luke.
>heh, that showed ‘im.
You lost the argument here. There is no account of Christ’s teaching that has not been obtained from some third party. Why don’t you believe the Gospel according to Luke? Did he claim Christ said other things that rubbed you the wrong way, or is it just that one utterance from the sacred mouth of Jesus Christ that you prefer to throw away?

Upon what are you basing your decisions to accept or disregard details of the Gospel?
>>
>>53438082
Luke didn't walk with Jesus and learn from Paul the Herodian kike who claims Jesus came to him in a vision that was oh so real but no one with him saw it.
I agree with the passage but you are trying to say it supports your claim that you are going to hell of you don't give away everything you own.
I'll let god decide my fate not a dishonest kike on an image board.
>>
Jesus is not a God, but just a human like us, preaching to worship the one true God.
>>
>>53438102
Oh, so you do agree with >>53437665
this passage then? Am I getting that right? So explain to me why you aren’t going to give away your worldly possessions right now.
>>
>>53437947
>A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the sinner's wealth is laid up for the righteous.
>For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.
>The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor.
>But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
>And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house.
>The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.
>Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward.
>>
>>53438157
Kek thanks for confirming who you are. I genuinely chuckled at your attempt to be so dishonest.
>>53437947
>>
>>53438186
>>53438167
Still waiting for that explanation of why you should reject the words of Christ and not give everything you have to the poor. I guess I’ll keep waiting.
>>
>>53438228
You proved yourself beyond dishonest. I'm just enjoying the show you're putting on now.
>>
>>53434218
Slave morality
>I'm better because I'm poor!
>>
>>53438294
Still waiting. Whether I am dishonest or not doesn’t really matter. What matters is what Christ said and whether or not you choose to accept it or to reject it. The scripture is all there for you to look up for yourself. Yet you are so bent on rejecting Christ’s word to maintain your worldly possessions. Are you really so unlike the rich man in >>53437499
>>53437549
?
>>
>>53434210

Yes if you hustle.

I'm a tradesman. self employed.

If I bid a job correctly and do everything fast and it goes well I can net like $700 to $800 a day. And the customer is happy because they got what they wanted.

>>53434227
Also this. Sin is embedded in human DNA. We are born flawed and will die flawed. We will keep hurting those around us. Ask God for forgiveness and strive to follow the teachings of Jesus. If you aren't attending a weekly bible study with other adults you are missing out BIG TIME on the foundation of life
>>
>>53438333
>Whether I am dishonest or not doesn’t really matter.

It's not wrong to have money or to make it. What's sinful is to love money mor than God. If you are doing good and are rewarded for it, that's fine. It's what you do with that money afterward that shows where your heart is.
>>

>>53438043
work can become an addiction, some use it as an escape from home life

idols are all of the ways we stray from God, really. there are as many idols as mistakes we can make in judgment. it's up to us to prevent them from becoming a problem.
>>
>>53434210
It's possible for anything to happen without sinning; sin is a function of your nervous system. External facts influence your nervous system, of course, so whether it's possible in practice is an empirical question.
Probably yes, I'd say, since income is the diversion of value flows. So if you provide a service that's in demand and not yet provided, you can make easy money. E.g. renting out some large asphalt lot that you own as a paid parking space if there are no other parking spaces in the area. In fact, you're contributing to net well-being by doing so, if you keep the price below a certain threshold.
>>
>>53438429
No, you don’t. You’ve denied his word.
>I’m sorry, I never knew thee.
These are the words you’ll hear when you die, just before the pit.
>>
>>53438082
>Why don’t you believe the Gospel according to Luke?
The question is why you care whether someone else believes it. Do you believe it?
>>
>>53438142

>>
>>53434240
i hate evangelicals so much it's unreal
>>
That depends what you mean by easy. Since you ask if it's "possible," The answer is certainly yes. Regarding sin (unrelated), before he began his ministry Jesus would buy wood to make something and then presumably jack up the price to sell it for more than he put into it. One assumes stuff like that isn't necessarily sinful, probably depending on the size of the markup and things like people's option to contract with other carpenters.
>>
>>53438303
God literally multiple times in the bible says that wealth/mammon/money is evil and you just parrot le edgy mustache atheist as a counterargument

>>53435546
That's why it's best to be self employed

>>53443101
There is nothing great about remaining powerless.
The alternative to gaining wealth (and thus power) is sitting from the sidelines and claiming moral superiority come what may? That's not moral, thats pathetic.

The eye of a needle is easy to understand as God can remove the empty space in-between the atoms of a camel and fit it through the eye of the needle, but you cannot remove the love of materialism from a man's heart unless that man wants that. The second part of your statement checks out.

Literally no one needs to witness what the Lord wants you to witness. That's not how any of this works. Only those who God wishes to see him can attain the ability to witness him. The others are not important in any context and if they were holy enough, they would at the very least know that something happened to this man.
>>53438142
False. The Holy Spirit, The Word of God, incarnate on Earth as the Soul of the man known as Jesus. The Soul was given flesh to operate on Earth among its species to spread knowledge of the Truth.
So the flesh itself is not God, but the Soul wearing the flesh is.
