many years in the future
>an old man and a young boy sit on a bench at the airport
>"Timmy my boy" ,the old man begins, "its your 10th birthday and I think you're finally old enough for a very special gift"
>he slowly and gingerly pulls out an old and weathered phone and hands it to the boy. The words robinhood glisten on the screen
>"wow grandpa, thanks! What is it though?"
>"it's an investment portfolio Timmy, one I spent my entire life building. Today I want to pass my legacy on to you"
>Timmy looks down at the phone, awe struck
>"holy smokes grandpa this is worth over $50!"
>"I know Timmy, impressive right? It took alot of time and effort to get there, can you believe I only started with $300,000?" He said smuggly
>"but why is it all in this company, uh, UUUU? It says you have 14 thou-......14 hundr-....14-"
>"14 quintillion shares timmy. Yep, I first started buying them all the way back in 2022. And I've been accumulating more ever since"
>"but why uranium, grandpa?"
>"because soon the bullrun will start! Theres clearly a defeciet of uranium, and the demand can only go up! Now it won't be in your lifetime Timmy, but hopefully one day your own grandson will see those guaranteed gains! You just need to keep waging and buying more like I did!"
>"....oh, OK grandpa...I'll try my best..."
>a speaker suddenly blares overhoard "flight 108, Munich to New York is now boarding"
>"oh, that's my flight grandpa I gotta go" Timmy says as he runs toward the gate
>the future was in Timmy's hands now. Tears of hope well up in the old man's eyes as he watches the coal powered plane take off

Constantly buying something on the way down is the one way you can lose bigly. Eventually you will hit a stock that is dying and just pour everything into the hole. Not saying AMD is that but the point is - bad habit to form.

Better to allocate how much you want then buy up to that amount. Anymore than that should be after a decent bottom has formed and stock is on the way up and general market is in bull trend.

The only sector with the same level of absolute cluelessness is synthetic bio.

Even better when I don't actually buy them, but sell naked puts on them (ie getting paid to potentially buying them on the dip; naked calls are synthetically equal to covered calls). Plus, selling naked puts gives you 5x leverage, interest free.

Currently slurping up DIVO and SCHD. Also have a lot of naked puts on SARK as a hedge (works like a charm).

It literally fills Greenblatt's magic formula criterion (EV/EBITDA under 10, ROIC of at least 15%). Plus the low debt and high quick ratio make it very liquid and gives it very good survivability to whatever problems comes its way.

Also, technically not an INTC bagholder. I have sold 2 puts at 40 dollars against it. And I would absolutely buy 200 shares at $40 at that price.

Probably going to sell 2 more puts as well at $37.50. I love getting paid to buy the dip (INTC actually has a dip, unlike meme garbage stocks)

Learn how to sell naked puts (especially on margin). Thats how you make real money on dividend value stocks.

>>48815490
Literally irrelevant.

Intel will literally have a lower risk to return ratio than AMD. And in the meantime, shareowners in INTC will continue to collect dividends while the company continues to grow.

You will literally make more money wheeling INTC on margin than just buying and holding AMD, hoping the meme tech stock bubble gets reinflated again

Burger King's franchise model is fucked to hell. The Columbus market has fewer than ten stores at this point and I doubt any of them A) have been modeled in the last ten years while B) also managing to function as high-sales locations while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Wendy's has a serious nigger problem, as it has become dependent on niggers for labor, sales, and even voice work for company advertisments. They were initially a frontrunner when it came to exploiting wetback labor, but that has changed. I believe part of it is the fact that spics, much like the rest of us, hate being around niggers.

INTC is undervalued by any metric. Dumb redditors are overpaying for AMD's potential growth. There are tons of quant studies, using rigorous historical data, showing that value beats growth on a risk adjusted basis.

The only way you can be a gaped in this market is if you make dumb plays with high P/Es or companies making no money at all.

Take BBW vs NVDA. One is relatively unknown and the other is a rockstar stock found in every hedgie, wsb, and retail investor portfolio. One had a P/E of 90 and the other had a P/E of around 8.

Given the recent slaughter, NVDA has lost ~50% of its value in only 6 months. And it's going to go more and more until it has a P/E of...well....BBW. BBW is only down 15% and it's comfortably bouncing off the 200 EMA like how Riley Reid bounces on my dick.

Stop buying expensive stocks and your cock will stop getting cut off. Expensive megacap corporations are going to cause an evaporation of trillions of dollars over the next few years.

WMT, TGT and KO are just boring safe stocks that barely beat inflation. Small cap stocks with low P/E like TGA, EGLE, HDSN, or AOSL are safer and better performance. I made a decent amount from HDSN and ASRT this past month.

if the 10 year treasury yield goes up from here the broad market will go doen more, that's all it is. when money gets more expensive, future cash flows become more expensive and investors prefer cheaper profits to more expensive ones 10 years into the future. if we go from 2.8 to 4% yield, sp500 goes down 25%

Zoom out. I'm not going to call EGLE shit, but WMT has a proven growth during its entire lifetime. You can even see EGLE has done the double top and crashed down... that said, depending on cash inflows. However - right now it could be an accumulation phase as smart money moves into it, as long as it continues to perform. Not sure what to make of it.

He's taking from Money Printer Theory.

This goes against the conventional idea that taxes are primarily meant to provide the government with money to spend to build infrastructure, fund social welfare programs, etc.

Taxing to actually pay for your spending IS a good thing, but pretending it controls inflation is retarded because you can get plenty of goods price increases without changing money supply at all. Just tax the rich and fund UBI with it, CPI will fucking rocket while the market collapses.

It's yet another case where I suspect any MMT shills like Kelton and Mosler actually know better, but it's all just socialist apologetics meant to disarm the inflation critiques long enough to get 60 votes in the senate to pass UBI. By the time you find out it's highly inflationary and the taxes don't fix jack shit it'll be "oops oh well, good luck repealing it tho, lol".

That's the wrong way to view stocks. Stocks go through periods of being right and wrong for buying. For example, WMT was the wrong stock to own until 2000 and it took almost 14 year for it to regain its former glory.

WMT has a P/E of 30 with a 1.5% dividend.
EGLE has a P/E of 4 with a 12.54% dividend.

Rickards is good intro level goldbug-ism but he's not right about everything. He was one of the first people popularizing currency wars as an economic paradigm though.

On that note, skip his latest stuff and read currency wars. Basically he detailed to the fed gov years ago that Russia and China would seek to end the dollar system and defend their currencies with gold and that the US wouldn't be able to do jack-squat about it, and that proportionally it'd be to their benefit and our detriment.

very short term maybe, but no.

Lol. Is he trying to destroy twitter or is he getting a better price?

>for the low price of 8/mo you could know too!

>Is he trying to destroy twitter or is he getting a better price?
The mission was to sell even more TSLA shares. And that has been accomplished. Anything else was another side hustle. I think the hope was that he'd get a pump on TWTR to dump on baggies like the DOGE pumps of 2021.
That didn't work out so now he is going to do everything possible to back out of the deal.
He WILL do this again with UBER. BELIEVE IT
>>
>>48821898
I think he would rather see twitter destroyed than be in its current state.

Peter Lynch would be creaming himself right now in this market. Too bad none of us are fundamental investors
>>
>>48821949
what the fuck does twitter have to do with selling tsla shares i keep seeing this
>>
>>48821952

If he doesn’t buy Twitter, I assume it’s going to sub $8
>>
>>48821979

Maybe he had to sell shares to cough up the cash. It was like 40B he needed to prove he was serious. Not sure what financial bullshit he did to secure that cash.

There's not enough big brain energy here to spend the effort talking about fundamentals on specific stocks. I can talk about how cheap some of these stocks are and then the typical response is "yeah but it's gonna go down another 50%". Lynch looked at fundamentals but he focused on growth stocks over value. A ton of these growth stocks are down massively, and nobody here is buying. People here don't have the patience to hold for years through big drawdowns, usually someone will take a positions, see a 10% loss and immediately sell and come here to complain because they couldn't handle the volatility of a small cap growth stock. And no AQB does not count.

Are there books to get to this kind of level? TO be full blown degenerate and lose money at everything but have boomers throw more at you to be a codemonkey?
>>48821979
The initial offering was more than he had from selling TSLA last year. You have to pony up the cash for an acquisition like this. When the TWTR pump evaporated, that is when Musk started hunting for "outside" investors.
>>
>>48821149
yes i think so. theres a whole lot of money on the side lines. retail has been buying dips. everyone knows about recession fears. companies are doing buybacks. 3% ten year is higher than where we were recently, but relative to history its still quite low. europe is in recession. international and emerging markets are even worse. emerging markets need cheap USD to build and produce. covid is over(china lockdowns will end eventually). sp500 valuations are around 18, and forward pe is 17, these are not overly expensive anymore, in additon earnings have been decent, and 70% of sp500 components beat. the job market is hot, and can handle tightening. i think fear over a 80% crash are overblown, although i do think the fed unwinding its balance sheet in june will cause more fud and drawdowns.

AQBbros, we must drown the FUDster in Lynch quotes
The key to making money in stocks is not to get scared out of them.
Behind every stock is a company.
Investing in stocks is an art, not a science, and people who've been trained to rigidly quantify everything have a big disadvantage.

What was that weird oil stock everyone was meming last year with the fat guy with a mustache

I'm still sticking with WMT via payroll deductions. It's safe, I get a discount, and I can throw extra money at degenerate things as the market shits itself

See that's your problem. You think about the absolute worst penny stocks instead of legitimate growing companies.

Everyone thinks money doesn’t matter until you are broke

Nice. Is your level of degeneracy an outlier or the norm?

Cielo Waste Solutions. That was also around the time of the original Bayhorse Silver schizoposter. Canadian pennystocks are actually always worse than the most pajeet of shitcoin PnDs. It is always a vague promise of "our SUPER SECRET TECH will make our shit assets not shit" and then they just slow roll their shitty news announcements for years.
Basically anyone who has touched CWSFF after Feb 2021 is deep underwater now.
