the market cap is what you need to focus on. you need to mint TCAP using ETH WBTC or DAI
>>
>>40818742
You also need CTX to compensate for undercollatorilzation, and to vote on protocols and upgrades/changes to the underlying system.

I sure hope no whales want to change the protocols that allow shorting without taxes and regulation.

I’m aware of how DAI/AAVE work, I’m trying to figure out how TCAP can encapsulate the same benefits on its own platform — the asymmetry implies no one would ever mint TCAP unless they thought the entire market is about to dump, so the only time cex normalfags could actually buy would be when Chainlink hits $30 yet again and the phone rings
What I’m struggling to wrap my head around is how this would be possible considering the ETH/DAI are locked in vaults, so there’s seemingly no way to redeem TCAP for anything else unless you were the one that minted it (how it currently operates)
There needs to be something to balance the asymmetry, no?

You haven’t addressed the main fault right now:
>there is no incentive to mint TCAP in a bullish trend
>the only time liquidity will become available is when everyone expects the market to dump
So what’s the point of buying TCAP unless you’re convinced the overwhelming majority of bobos are wrong? You can’t even hunt their “shorts”, that all goes to the protocol

FYI this is a coordinated pump and dump that is using the illusion of being regulated (Gemini) to make it seem legit. This same group did this with efforce (WOZX) back in the day, notice how WOZX never recovered despite being backed by the old Apple co founder? If you do not sell your bags now they are going to dump on you

This happened in the past. What I’m saying is that this is the same PnD group doing a sophisticated scam but with a new coin (cryptex). I already fell for this shit once which is why I’m warning the newfags here, I got wiped out of almost 50k due to those faggots back when they dumped WOZX on me during their winter pump and dump of the coin in dec 2020/Jan 2021
>>
>>40825342
take some responsibility - you overleveraged yourself as well as bought a shitcoin. Sadly it didnt work out that time, but your shooting yourself in the foot by not seriously considering CTX
>>
>>40825342
Maybe you're right. It's definitely possible with this shitcoin, but the liquidity is so low and there are a lot of buys happening here. It's going to be tough to dump on the market just to make a few hundred thousand. Still, at this rate the token is overvalued as hell.

I bought on Day 1 of Gemini listing and then a shitload more a short while later expecting to hold this for 6-60 months. Unless they're ghost dumpers who've been accumulating on sushi behind the scenes and intend to dump back to ATL, by all means, dump away. Even then I'm like 50% above ATL in cost basis so nanner nanner idgaf, please dump I'll buy even more

As far as I can tell the accumulation on Gemini began Sept 1 after that retard candle. I have a hunch as to what is going on and the nature of these posts. But I don't much feel like sharing with the attitudes I'm seeing around here.

Also because I respect the play and don't care to interrupt the game and give you all an unfair advantage beyond what you've already been given. Place your bet or don't, nobody cares about your weak FUD on the board that shills dog jizz tokens and chink food coins as good investments for months on end - the retards here buy that shit up anyway too.

If you take all the information available to you and use logic, the questions will answer themselves.

But you need to ask the right questions

>>40833556

And my portfolio is named FuckTime, so what. You're not going to convince anyone a white ETH2 dev and a bunch of white chads are dot head ruggers or dumpers, I don't know why you're try so hard with that angle.

Self hating curry shitter perhaps? Many such cases.

Like I said, dump away whales, my buy orders are down there right next to theirs.

>>40833649
What is wrong with you people? Indians don't have money to pump or dump, it doesn't even make sense. Jeets make rugpulls, and if this is a PnD it's certainly not the rugpull variety. I would have gone with chinks or just stuck to the whale narrative. FUD smarter next time.

Or maybe just try buying promising coins before they pump and not after, just a thought.

Nigger the ceo of cardano fucking was the co ceo of ethereum at one point, he’s white and yet cardano is only worth $3. Your argument is retarded

See what I mean? The pnd group is coming out in force because I’ve been calling them out. Do not buy this coin anons they are trying to rug you. Just think why would a bunch of white hats respond like angry 16 year olds when you call them out for larping like faggots?
>>
>>40833933
You fucking brainlet just look at cardano marketcap
>>
>>40833933

Do people still not understand market caps at this stage? I think Cardano is shit, but its market cap is over 76 billion dollars.

>>40831925
They deposit to lock in collateral before a market dump. They earn CTX in return. They then dump said CTX?

>As far as I can tell the accumulation on Gemini began Sept 1 after that retard candle. I have a hunch as to what is going on and the nature of these posts. But I don't much feel like sharing with the attitudes I'm seeing around here.
Why not just say what is it instead spewing vague bullshit? This is the type of shit that's making people sell.
>>
>>40834195
Jeeze nigger, I bought in at 26. Why are you trying to FUD so hard? Oh thank you ser for watching out for my financial investments. Sounds like you got priced out and don’t want to buy in again or need time To buy back in

there are people here actually trying to fud a coin held on gemini, nonetheless a coin that came first to gemini
if you dont know what gemini is and who owns it, you're an obvious newfag or a shitty fudder
id buy at 50 and 60 and still feel confident, this is easily a triple digit shekel

I would expect 80+ million worth of TCAP to be minted, again, if a market dump were on the menu.

I'll share retard theory 1 which is TCAP is going live for trading on Gemini. This is an important step, as important as listing DAI is for Maker. Without TCAP liquidity the game doesn't work. Also wouldn't necessarily be a price pump event for CTX.

And then think about the previously mentioned statement for a minute. "Again". Someone with an interest in Cryptex and damn good market knowledge to not fuck it up used 80 million to successfully test out using cryptex as a short mechanism, very quickly after launch. Sometimes a test is actually a demonstration.

That's a lot of fucking money for a project that was worth about 15 million at the time. There's some serious weight involved in this one. These posts are either the most clever pump and dump I've ever seen or we have us a world class genuine insider with a desire to pay it forward and a distinct control over their own personal greed. I suspect the latter and that there's a very real potential that I am in CTX anons karma debt at some point in the future.

Or maybe I'm a retard idk

Guys it’s my fault you thought it was a pump and dump. I was phone posting to myself. Now that you see the weird posts have stopped, it’s because I am admitting fault. I won’t do it again. Ctx to page 1

>>
>>40836023
Oh so it's just TCAP being listed on Gemini?
>>
>>40835775
But if the TCAP listing doesn’t serve as a CTX price increase event, how does that help all the mopes here buying CTX?
>>
>>40836248
y u do dis?
>>
>>40837465
Nah it ain't that, it's just he worked out something important. You guys are piecing it together.
>>
>>40837814
my initial guess was that TCAP would be listed on Gemini, but in order for it to be listed, you have to mint a shitload of it. Cryptex doesn't have that much TVL in the platform. Once it does however, you can start trading it.

however... My guess is that the winkles will create a product offering in which hedge funds or whatever can go ahead and buy TCAP as exposure to the market. This would mean a shitfuckload of TCAP minted.
I just don't understand the CTX tokenomics and how it plays out.

Am I onto this?
>>
>>40838051
Yea that's about right, I think.
>>
>>40838098
On top of this, the DAI would need to be used as collateral, locked up, and then only tcap would be burned once you got out of tcap, but boomers won't take out for years. I guess the shorting mechanism is also a possibility as another product. Short on Gemini without consequence?

This is all interesting but I'm not seeing any breadcrumbs for me to think that this is actually happening. No real proposals for CTX either to support this. https://www.withtally.com/governance/cryptex
>>
>>40838744
Checked. Don't you get CTX once you unlock collateral?
>>
>>40838896
No, CTX doesn’t enter the TCAP/ETH/DAI pipeline at any point, it’s just used to vote on proposals for the protocol
>>
>>40838929
Not exactly. It's also earned through minting TCAP, and is used to avoid undercollatoralization.
>>
>>40839023
This is what I find concerning. Are we really supposed to be buying TCAP? If whales will be buying ctx in mass wouldn't they already have before we hear about it....?
>>
>>40839023
Yo I think the CTX minting with TCAP ended a while back. You can only get CTX through the liquidity pools.

Early Adopter Rewards
As an incentive for early Adopters, the TCAP protocol will reward CTX tokens to Vault owners in the first 14 days of deployment. Any Vault owner with outstanding TCAP debt will earn CTX token rewards on a per-block basis. Early adopter rewards are the only type of rewards that don’t need vesting as their main goal is to distribute CTX for protocol governance. Early adopters rewards are issued over 14 days for a total of 500,000 CTX. Assuming approximately 6500 Ethereum blocks per day over 14 days (91,000 Ethereum blocks), the per block reward would be 5.4945 CTX split across the debtors at that point in time.
The 500,000 CTX will be rewarded across two vaults:
· ETH Vault 250,000 CTX (Starting today 4/8/21)
· DAI Vault 250,000 CTX (Starting today 4/8/21)
>>
>>40839023
>Not exactly. It's also earned through minting TCAP
see >>40839350
>and is used to avoid undercollateralization
and this I still need a straight answer on, something more than my assumption that it means the protocol will automatically buy up CTX to back TCAP in the event of picrel
The idea of “to prevent undercollateralization” is mentioned on the site, in gemini’s cryptopedia entry, and in the white paper, but it’s not elaborated upon any further in any source that I’ve found so far
Does anyone know how this is proposed to work?
>>
>>40839457
>and is used to avoid undercollateralization

Probably just something they put in there. I doubt it means much. Who knows?
>>
>>40839023
I can't see anything in the docs about minting CTX, do you have a link?
>>
>>40840959
https://cryptex.finance/White_Paper.pdf
Page 5/7

CTX has an initial supply of 10 million tokens, which
are distributed to the Cryptex Team, Advisors, Protocol
Treasury, and Community members. Any CTX allocated
to the Cryptex Team, Advisors, and Treasury are dis-
tributed via multi-year vesting contract. CTX tokens are
rewarded with a value of ZERO.
As time goes on, it may be in the best interest
of the project and/or community to allocate and mint
new CTX tokens. The creation of new CTX tokens
via governance vote will be subject to a 2% per year
maximum adjustment. That is, the max supply of CTX
tokens cannot increase more than 2% in a given 1 year
time span. Minting new CTX tokens may be used for
compensation of black swan events that leaves TCAP
vaults undercollateralized, continued incentives for prod-
uct development, and other solutions that further advance
the protocol.
