What are some wrestling investments that went horribly wrong? There’s a lot of them, but I distinctly remember WWE shilling the hell out of Tout.

This is still one of the stranger things I've ever seen on television.

Mu fucking god, I remember the shilling Double J did for this. All the posts on the website, the “updates”. What happened to this?

XFL
WBF
WWF New York
Nitro Grill

I miss it bro. It would of been dimes if some wrestlers actually stopped by once in a awhile.

TNA bought it

I still have no idea what Jarrett was thinking with this. Didn’t he make this only because his share of TNA got bought out or something?

>WBF
I don’t remember this. What was this about?

Brock Lesnar

He shopped around the gfw tapings footage everywhere and no one gave him a tv deal so it was essentially doa
>>
Would it have drawn dimes?
>>
>>12941561
One of the worst main titles I’ve ever seen.
>>
>>12941535
The Undertaker lost his ass in real estate, hence he keeps coming back for big-money payoffs.

Thanks anons. It’s been on my mind for a while what happened to the company.
>>12941711
Around that time, Nitro Grill was in WCW, so most likely yeah. I could see WWF making a killing off it.
>>12941721
Who the fuck designed this shit?
>>
>>12941677
The World Bodybuilding Federation. Early 90s, Vince decided to take on Joe Weider. Did a couple of awful, though hilarious, PPVs and a shitty TV show. No-one was interested, the wrestlers were having their pay cut to pay for it all (whilst the bodybuilders were on guaranteed contracts), and then the steroid trial hit so it had to be shut down.

Tout was so fricking cringey and I didn't even know what it was.

>>12941541
AEW is definitely cringey.
>>
>>12941561
This was hilarious and I kept hoping that he'd keep the salesman gimmick.
>>
>>12941561
If you clicked this ad when he was running it, it led to a scam, but you’d get a free signed picture of good ol Jeff Jarrett as compensation.
>>
>>12941678
Absolutly.
>>
>>12941721
We shit, but this would've been an over design in the mid 90s
>>
>>12942080
Oh it was super cringe. One of their main features was Tensai doing promos for it. Shit got so much heat that they had to change up Tensai completely

I really wish he did. Saleman Jarrett was dimes.

Basado tranquilo Sakamoto

No he didn’t
>>
>>12942217
fuck thats great
>>

If they called it the Smackdown hotel and they had big names commonly appearing at it and fighting inside of it in the Pool and Casino area in PPVs in Las Vegas then yes
