Elephants, boars and hippos have tusks, rhinos have horns, bovids have horns, cervids have antlers. Horses don't have any of these things. Their defense feature is a very shitty attitude. The wild horse is just as shitty as any other equid, though asses seem to have the shittiest personalities of all, and yet they were domesticated also.

A zebra is literally just a striped donkey.Donkeys will fuck you up as well. Hell, a feral horse would fuck you up too. There's nothing magical about the zebra that separates them from the rest of the equines.The only thing that separates zebras and onagers from horses and donkeys is that they happen to live in parts of the world where humans have historically not been adept at domestication.
