Observe:

He has requested your 16 digit credit card number, including it's 3 digit security number and 5 digit zip code,

But the eyes are reassuringly placid.
And with a soft, timid smile with ears that are neither fully alert or splayed all the way down.

Nothing of any manner of harm could ever befall you for divulging such financial information.

Foxes are very vocal when they want to be. They can bark, scream, howl, squeal, etc. It's honestly kind of creepy how many sounds they can make, because they can produce noises that sound uncannily similar to cats, dogs, or humans screaming.

True but I would think that any deaths would probably be from mauled babies. I doubt a fox could do enough damage to an adult before them noticing and fighting it off
I think there was an incident where a woman in Germany (?) was sleeping out in the open in a forest and woke up to a fox biting her skull and had serious injuries from it. Don't think she died though.

Normally it's not very likely but I have no doubt that there were hobos who got really unlucky like that.

It is incredible to see when these wild creatures feel safe enough around humans that they do not immediately flee. Domestic/captive foxes become very doglike that it's almost kind of funny.

Literal old wives' tales, just like house cats killing ppl. The only instance of anything like that I've heard of was a cat sleeping on a baby's face, suffocating it. Even the tamest wild fox doeskn't come within a touch-range of a human, unless there's food. Whenever you see hand-feeding videos of foxes you can notice how the fox stretches his head towards the offerings and scurries back away the instance s/he's got hir reward

I posted about some foxes in my garden a while back and I hadn't seen them around for a while so I thought maybe they just relocated to the forest. Well, the holes are now 3 times bigger and I keep finding leftovers from their meals in my yard, especially close to the holes. I guess they just got better at avoiding being seen.
So far, I've found:
>chicken feathers everywhere
>chicken feet and wings
>remains of a crow
>rabbit leg (white with black spots makes me assume it was not a wild one)
>half a rabbit left under my carport

I'm planting fruit trees right now so I've been chucking the gifts into the holes.

Primates are the only mammals that can distinguish red and green, so foxes are very camouflaged to most mammals
I guess that's why so many other animals are brown or reddish as well
