Does /an/ love them or hate them?

They're unbelievably annoying as are their owners. Like little cry baby retards. With all that said I would never want one to be purposefully abused.

Same. I’d have no qualms about fucking around with them, like occasionally throwing a rubber snake, but I absolutely hate those who abuse them

I get it, I get that anger and drive to slap the shit out of them too, and I want to just throw the babies when they make those retarded tantrums when you accidentally bump the bottle out their mouths, but there’s a different between having this hatred and acting on it

What I want to know is why do I find macaques so angering while I find orangutan tantrums so adorable. Is it that they’re less spastic? Are their tantrums more grounded and justified? I know macaque tantrums are a product of the fact that having such tantrums increased their chances of survival and by proxy reproduction, but it’s so fucking annoying

Japanese and Black crested macaques are cool though; so are adult javan and stumptailed

They don't deserve to be killed and totured by sone sick subhuman of corse. And the endangeroud species need to be protected. But they still kinda suck compeared to gibbons, pongos or lemurs.
>>
I don’t know why but it’s funny when they unbox the babies and it turns out that they died, meaning the mother and baby were killed for nothing, leaving no legacy for her or her lineage; gone like tears in the rain

I would assume a lot are men with profile pictures of women. Catfishing while you browse degenerate videos on youtube, why not, it's all perverse escalation. Women in general have lower rates of violent sexual deviancy and animal abuse compared to men; when they do abuse children it's usually their own or victims close to them and without sexual connotations.

their reactions when annoyed are vaguely human-like, so it's funny. i'd laugh seeing a chimp annoyed, too.

Ugh 100% THIS

I feel the exact same way, idk what it is but something about the way they screech and through tantrums makes me wanna go full rabid dog on them

That said, I don't condone all the shit that's been happening to them recently either, what really bothers me when they take away the newborns and just leave them in a cage with nothing to cuddle so they just go demented, and eventually starve themselves, and honestly can't blame them in a world where all they know is pain and fear

I get the feeling all they'd need Is a better temperament like other breeds of monkey and they wouldn't be as abused.

It's because troupes of macaques live near places in Cambodia that have been tourist attractions since the dawn of time. They've been fed by humans for thousands of years and have been ruined as animals. Don't get me wrong, an OG jungle macaque that has never seen a human is still an odious creature but in a "feral animal that will fuck you up" kind of way.
>>

Babies can be litter trained, but it's challenging and most people who get baby monkeys have no desire to put in the effort. Once they get to a certain age they absolutely will object to not shitting wherever they happen to be.

That's another problem, the laws are not effective for it, sure a few dollars locally is good bit, but consider that these videos are usually commissioned for a couple hundred dollars each(probably a few grand for the drill one) so the fines are may as well not exist.

No thats soon going to be lemurs. /gif/ is funny though you have people laughing and cackling at horrible injuries and murders but squealing at some gross pajeet or SEAmonkey abusing a macaque. I think the arguments those threads create are funnier than the shitty shock videos.
>>
>>4168547
yeah this sums up my feelings as well. seeing them get tormented, even slapped around a bit, is hilarious. but the extreme torture and mutilation shit is nasty, you really should talk to a therapist if that's your thing.
>>
>>4173529
It doesn't even matter how hard you try.
>>
>underage kid gets beheaded webm

/Gif/ is fucking retarded
>>
>>4197490
Yeah its odd. You can find literal torture videos on /gif/. Like the one where some cartel spics kill a cop by beheading him infront of his tied up and crying son before throwing his head at him and cutting the kid open in a way you can see his lungs move from the outside.
Meanwhile the hecking monkeyrinos are what causes people to start wailing for janny.
>>
What if other primates feel the same way about humans? What if gorillas fantasize about abusing humans?
>>
>>4190318
Edit: Wow, I woke up this morning and saw so many responses! I'll try to get to everyone but don't take it personally if I don't get back to you, I'm clearly an important person now and just don't have the time.

i think the jannies are working under the assumption it's illegal to distribute zoosadism content.
it might be. 100% certain it's illegal to produce it. but i heard the bill to criminalize its distribution failed to pass.

if it's not illegal for it to be here, i don't see why it should be removed in the face of all the rest of the horrid shit posted here.
>>
>>4200054
yeah but shitbull rekt threads always stay up. they've got something against the monke threads in particular, it's weird.
>>
>>4168463
i hate this post. i’ve been saying “suck macaque dude” for the past week around the house.
>>
>>4199632
Gorillas and Orangs I doubt it, but I could see a Chimp being that much of a sadistic fuck
>>

While they have bursts of violence dont think chimps have the same level of imagination as us desu.

honestly i dont even like the torture vids, i like it when they fuck eachother up more than anything. I wish somebody would feed one infront of a cage with a bunch of other in it and then toss it back in and let the group just go ape shit on him.(no pun intended)
>>
>>4185500
>can't stand an ugly noisy thing that slightly resemble little humans

That is the thing, they look like gross immitations of one of our young in distress, which i magine causes negative response in our brains.
I can't really see another reason why many people feel like beating the shit out of them when they're throwing tantrums, especially since they always mention having no such hatred for any other animal.
>>
>>4193871
why are y'all memeing so hard about how bad these vids are?
it's exactly the same as all the other shit that gets posted here.

i guess maybe y'all think this is your generation's version of the NEDM meme and are trying to get it to stick.
not a supporter of monke vids, but you people concern trolling are starting to get annoying.
>>
>>4201724
Yeah its really not that deep compared to the shit already posted on gif
>>
>>4190064
Name of the vid? This one looks hilarious.
>>
>>4200353
i listen to this primate podcast where the host is studying to become a primatologist and works with chimpanzees and he says sometimes they’ll wheel out a tv on a cart and play planet of the apes for them and they are absolutely entranced by the movie
>>
>>4202384
That's some scary shit, I'd actually worry about these things being a big problem in the future,
>>
>>4195498
That's sickening wtf isn't shit like that instanban
>>
>>4188808
overrated. idk why /gif/ jannies are crying so badly about. they already allow so much fucked up shit there, including ones with literal minors being victimized by cartels. anyways I think it also acts as a streisand effect.
>>
>>4203287
4chan moderation is stretched insanely thin and is highly unprofessional. For most boards they only look at report/ban request ques and select which rule was broken since most mods are managing multiple boards with thousands of daily reports. Only the mods on the major meme boards like /a/, /g/ and /pol/ actually browse for context, and mostly to shitpost with impunity.

Before it was like this 4chan moderation just existed to troll (you) and fucking with posters while other posters laughed was more normal than actual moderation.

desu I want to go back to when you could get banned for calling the mod's waifu a whore
>>
>>4200054
literally any animal torture is fine except macaques on gif
Activists apply for jannie positions, swallow that pill and a lot of moderation policy on 4chan starts to make sense.
Also the legislation making possesion illegal has a lot of retards interpreting it. It WAS illegal to have for commercial gain, so, only if there was intent to profit off it, not just for having it and sharing, hard to prove and not worth anyone's time to prosecute by itself, but the supreme court threw it out, so saying it is illegal has no meritt at all anymore.
>>
>>4204039
>Activists apply for jannie positions
This is similar to how trannies (I say tranny but its also a state of mind) will aim to get into moderation teams because they want to force their own 'justice' onto whatever platform they exist in. Just look at SCP which started off as a 4chan thing then deliberately got socially engineered by these 'activists' type staff into what it is today while all the old guard got kicked out.

>catbox link in name
kek thanks
>>
>>4201724
The difference is that I don't want to watch normal gore or torture videos, the few times I got tricked into clicking on a link or opening a webm I felt a healthy disgust. The monyet vids are different. I didn't like fact that I was enjoying them so much.

You sound like a middle aged Facebook mom. Thoughts and words aren't violence you dumbfuck. Go back to the hug box that spawned you
>>

>>disliking an annoying screaming creature makes you serial killer material
no, watching videos of them being tortured does
>You sound like a middle aged Facebook mom.
why do all of you people use this same insult?
>>
>>4204467
>why do all of you people use this same insult?
Because they are obviously new/not from here. They heard 4chan is the asshole of the internet and feel the need to fulfill that by posting sick fuckery. Most of us that have been here for a long time are past our edgy phase and/or and de-sensitized to everything at this point.
Ironically I got one of them to call me a cringe oldfag in /gif/. All this abuse shit started on YouTube anyways. This is what happens when you give the 3rd world internet access.
>>
>>4204748
Cool story bro but its because its entertaining in the same way rekt threads are. Use your maturity to filter them out or avoid opening them next time.

We need to breed cats to be bigger to deal with these fuckers
I hear they're in Florida now

Well good luck with that, one guy posted that he got a 90 day ban for starting one of those threads. Don't know why you would waste your time with that stuff here when it's clearly not wanted.

Anon those are just regular Floridians, stop being racist
>>
>>4204821
it would take at least cheetah size and wolf+ strength, just to overcome being mobbed by them as a predator.
a lynx-level cat could easily kill one 1v1, but their mobbing defense is too much with their dangerous teeth.
>>
>>4204850
I got 30 days for posting a Mundo gif once

They’re in the US and they need to go

They need to make drones that have long hanging nooses and they fly them down near where they. Monke sticks hand/head in noose, mechanism tightens noose, drone flies about treeline, BB bullet phalanx system pelts it to death
>>
>>4205463
They'll make a good snack for the pumas.
>>
>>4168460
I don't like them because they are violent and nasty compared to other monkeys, but I don't like when people hurt or torture them either.

Orangutans are my favorite ape/monkey I find them more interesting to watch. They also seem more reasonable while Macaques are not.
>>
>>4206931
oh yeah, pumas will destroy them with ease.
but that anon's idea would require a lot of work, and breed something so much worse than pitbulls imo.

honestly a bobcat could probably kill one 1v1, but again, mobbing would prevent that. these things are super weak alone, all they have are their teethe for defense.
>>
>>4206924
>They’re in the US and they need to go
did some bleeding heart release them from a lab?
>>
can we at least have video/content of macaques put in sticky situations? I'm not a fan of hurting them at all, but putting them in mildly stressful psychological situations or conundrums just captivates me.
>>
>>4207275
Morons in Florida and California that wanted exotic pets.

i want a monpai, but i know it would get too annoying to take care of it.
i wish there was a place you could go just to hold baby monyets for a little bit.
>>
>>4207547
Apparently you can buy one in Indonesia for the price of a big Mac.
>>
>>4207698
you could probably get a whole troop's worth for $30.
but as i said, it'd be too much to take care of.

though if i was rich, i'd build a nice enclosure around this small maple tree i got and stick a few in it. have my own 3 or 4 monpai troop.
>>
>>4207224
Martens(weasels) kill them easily.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFG4LL4iRfA

There is some vid of people who work at a farm, just by chasing away the monkeys and they quickly drop there infants. I think in smaller groups that you would usually find in the wild they aren't that brave. Also males have to leave the group when they get old enough and usually travel alone or very a loose group.
>>
>>4207715
man, once something shows violence towards them, they really just give up.
what is with that? the second he got bit, he just rolled over and let it happen.

I don't hate them, they're only animals doing what their instincts drive them to do. The babies spaz out because they need their mothers for protection.
