I did some DIY. Got a cheap chest of drawers, put the top drawer in but left the others out, just put the doors on. Then hinged the bottom and put a cat flap on the side. Now it's a hidden litter tray. She seems happy enough with it, and it makes the flat much neater.

I'll be honest, it's a bit of an uneven and shoddy job, but I'm pleased anyway.

Then you want a dog.
Cats can't be trained. However, a kitten that has been well-socialized and that interacted with people at a younger age will have higher chances to grow into a not asshole cat.
It's not necessary to get a kitten, just visit a shelter and get to know the cats they have there.

>>3784142
I think it's because dog breeds are ancient, cat breeds date back to more recent times but I could be wrong. Also some dog breeds are used for specific jobs.

Can 1-2 monthold husky pupp do damage to kot? Why does kot tease the pupp then growl at him, does she see him as infringing on her territory?
>>
My parents have two outside cats, an older one and a younger one
They feed them and the cats allow us to pet them , but they aren't exactly tame or pets per say
The older one has a lot of problems, ear mites, eye issues, I'm sure a lot of parasites
I would like to avoid the younger one becoming as fucked up as the older one is if possible
I asked for advice once before in a previous thread, to see if anyone could suggest anything I could do to help them and the only suggestion was to talk to a vet
I just called a couple places and no one will talk to me without seeing the cats - so that's apparently not an option
Is there anything I can do, any suggestions anyone might have that's not a vet? Are OTC flea collars or parasite treatments a thing?

Dogs existed thousands years before cats. Their domestication history also started earlier.
>>

>cat bites or beats you
>permanent damage
Since 1990, only 25 deaths have been recorded from big cats (like cougar or lion sized, not lynx.) in the US. In 2019, 33 people died from pitbulls alone.

I'm not saying owning a large or medium cat would be completely safe, but it wouldn't be any/much more dangerous than owning a big dog. I'd kill to own a cougar.
>>
>>3784442
That's not really a fair comparison, big dogs are like pits are common, big cats are not and the ownership is really restricted.

Big cats are shy and avoid human contact. Those that don't, are long dead. Hence how rare wolf deaths are in the modern age.

Pitbulls are both gregarious and bred to attack people, AND there's a propaganda operation in place with the stated purpose of convincing people that pitbulls are not dangerous. Of course there will be more pitbull attacks.

If we had wildcats as pets there would be way more maulings due to the increased human contact and the greater number of amateur owners who don't understand how dangerous the animals are.
>>
>>3783972
Training is out of the question, however if you get a kitten that is 8 weeks old and you talk with it and hold it and play with it and give it lots of attention and love, it will be your loving companion and won't be an asshole. You have to do it when it's young so it's socialized properly and will be chill as an adult. Good luck
>>
>>3784646
>Training is out of the question
woman owner

>>3783972
You can absolutely train a cat. They are somewhat intelligent and can learn and remember about as well as similarly sized animals. However temperament training has to occur when the animal is just barely old enough to leave its mother, as it is with dogs as well.
>>
>>3783972
mine is not an asshole and never did anything that could be considered assholish, I guess it all boils down at personality or/and owner interaction during growing up
>>
>>3784658
Its how you raise them. My family had two cats. One was mine, I basically treated him like a dog and he is the nicest cat you will ever meet, just a little destructive around the house. The other was my mother's. She had a cats will be cats approach and he is an absolute pest. Very aggressive and antisocial except with her.
>>
>>3784660
Mine is shy as fuck and scared of anyone that isn't me and my parents. She never scratches stuff, doesn't jump on places like the table, doesn't scratch things, etc. I really thought owning a cat would be a hell, but nowadays I see some friends struggling with making their dogs shit in the right place and wonder if my cat is gifted or something.
>>
>>3784665
It turns out being good with animals is an innate thing and a rare skill. It's in the way you carry yourself. Normal human body language scares animals and makes them less cooperative. But some people just get along with them for some reason. It's more common with autistic kids.

hey /kot/. I've been posting in these threads since feb. My cat has been having constipation. I took him to the vet twice in the past 3 months (Feb and april), one for diarrhea and another time for constipation. For his most recent vet visit 2 weeks ago, the did an enema, which seemed like it worked for a few days, but now it looks like his constipation is back. Over the past couple of days he passed a small log each time, but it was hard when i felt it thru the plastic bag i put it in. He's been straining and gets mad when i touch his stomach.
I honestly don't know what to do. I can't just keep bringing him to the vet every time this issue comes up (I don't have a lot of money), i need to find a solution to his medical problem, but I don't know what it is. He was pooping fine before january (he wood get regular stools, sometimes diarrhea). Is it possible he has megacolon? He has an appetite, and is still running around at night, and i don't think he's lethargic, he's still active and alert. He's overweight (gonna reduce his calories).

I'm at my wit's end /an/imals. If I say anything about taking him to the vet again, my parents are going to get pissed at me, so I can't say anything to them (idk why). I want to go to my local vet (cheaper than the one we've been using since we got him) and get an x-ray done just to make sure he doesn't have megacolon. i don't want him to die of something like this, I love him. Sorry for the blogpost.

cat breeds arent as different from one another as dog breeds. I don't have a lot of experience with "pure bred" cats but off the top of my head the only breeds who's behavior was specifically bred for are ragdolls

what are you looking for in a cat? maybe I can offer a few pointers on how to quickly assess a cats personality if visiting a shelter (but of course it depends on the shelter, the cats needs, how you interact with cats, etc...)
>>
>>3784192
>Cats can't be trained
my first kitty I had on my own would know to come home when I whistled (if we got separated on a walk)
my current kitty is harness trained and knows its time to come home just when I tell him and he'll walk us back
I'm kinda trying to train him to look when I point but he hasn't figured it out yet
>>
>>3784271
only gabapentin or whatever else prescribed by a vet will "calm" a cat, and some cats have whats called a "paradoxical" reaction (they freak out instead). that "Rescue Remedy" is unverified bullshit and probably just the alcohol in it or placebo that has any effect
I'm not sure about feliway but I have seen some minor anecdotal evidence that it might calm or attract a cat but I really don't know and I haven't tried it in a while
>>
>>3784335
cats have been mostly bred for looks, not for jobs, so until recently not as much care has been taken in their parentage
>>
>>3785577
I don't need to calm her but rather, make her less bitey and less anxious. Can I turn a cat into a friendly, attention seeking cat who only wants pats or is this a stretch
>>
>>3784340
I don't know shit about dogs but she may be trying to play with him like a cat would (playful swat, rolls on her back and shoes belly, swat then run, no yowling, claws not out, bites inhibited if she's learned bite inhibition) and he's not responding like a cat would (overbearing or too energetic perhaps?) so she gets freaked out
they may just have to negotiate and work this out themselves, for now make sure play time is monitored and intervene if someone actually gets hurt (serious scratch, serious bite, yowling, ears flat, hard stare)
>>
>>3784714
I heard they taste somewhat sweet. I love cats, and yes I would try cat once if I were in a country where that was normal and was offered. Kinda curious. I mean, it's already dead not much else you can do

have you tried a change in diet? take out dry food. If he's already on a wet food diet try mixing it with canned pumpkin (no spices added just plain of course) to increase his fiber. Is he dehydrated? how you can tell is if you (gently) pinch/lift the loose skin on his shoulders then let go and see if it doesn't go back down immediately. Also check if his gums are pale or pink (pink = good, pale = dehydrated or anemic)
if he shows these signs of dehydrated try to get him more hydrated any way possible (pet fountain, mixing water with his food)

find some way to make money (task rabbit, sell drugs, flip free shit on craigslist) and take him to your local vet (you said he hadn't seen this guy yet so that counts as a second opinion)
ask about mirelax (does he need it at this point?) its a laxative, only a temporary solution of course. And yes get that x-ray

small poops are better than no poops, straining not so good but sounds like it's the only symptom so far. how old is he?
>>
>>3785610
It's way older than Robin Seplut, and he does more of a ksksksks thing than a pspspsps thing. My own theory is that people used to say "pussy pussy" to attract cats, and they started saying it really fast until it was reduced to a pspspspsps noise.

I don't know your situation but I am inclined to think so. when she bites does she bite hard? does she bite when your hand goes to a certain spot on her body or when you try to pull away, or any other consistent scenario? Try to see things from her perspective, she either wants something or does not want something and is trying with the only tools she has to tell you

are you scared or anxious around her because of the biting or otherwise? cats are experts on their owners because its the only job they have, to observe us. They can also smell things that you wouldn't believe could be smelled, some people have trained their cats to detect seizures before they happen. I recommend being in control of yourself and your immediate feelings when around her

also practice listening, and just holding out your and and letting her signal to you what she wants, if she shows her cheek she wants cheek scratches, if she walks away she wants no pets and maybe whatever she's walking towards, if she rolls on her back she actually may want back scratches, or wresting
just some examples

It's partly training (yes, cats can learn house rules to a point) and partly character. Also a very active cat will need a lot of playtime and get bitchy if bored.
Kittens can turn out different than expected (but nearly all owners love them anyway) so for best chances get an adult cat that already has developed a character beyond kitten shenanigans from a trustworthy source or after meeting it so you know you'll like it. It still might be assholish to strangers and rude people, though. Learn cat body language.

>You have to do it when it's young so it's socialized properly
Only if you take it off the streets or a kitten mill, otherwise I'd recommend 16+ weeks if you're not a cat yourself. At around 12+ weeks the mother is starting to spank the little ones if they go too far with their bullshit and that kind of almost 24/7 parenting is stressfull to imitate.

Last week I made a few posts about some kittens I found at work. Yesterday I saw 2 of them making some of their first steps. I would really like to maybe eventually adopt one or 2 of them when they separate from their mom, how should I go about socializing with them without compromising their survivability or scaring the mom?
>>
>>3786657
not much you can do beyond trapping them when their old enough or trapping mom and picking up babies. I encourage you not to do this, instead try to connect with a local TNR program, maybe you can help them

I also have a good live trap for relocating raccoons if that would work, but the kittens were born on 4/20 so they still need to be together for a month or so. I looked and other than humane society and a few cat shelters I cant find a tnr program, feral cats are pretty rare in my area probably because its extremely industrialized.

So i called my vet yesterday, and from the last time i went there, they gave me a lactulose prescription (i forgot about it - i had a busy work week last week) and i went to the pharmacy yesterday to get it, and i've been giving him the prescribed dose (2ml every 12 hours), and i'm waiting for that to work. I'm hoping it'll resolve and I can call the vet and ask about what i should do with the lactulose - keep giving it to him, or only give it to him when needed, etc.. I plan on doing the x-ray, i just need to make an appt to my vet thats 5 minutes away and get their opinion (they might be booked for a while, tho, so i need to see, and my temporary job lets me go the last week of May, so idk if i have immediate time). He only eats wet food and I tried pumpkin and it seemed to work only for a little bit,

My cat has been trying to poop, and I think a little bit came out (I saw some wet and dry stuff on his butt)
He's going to be 7 in June, and he's overweight for his size (gonna put him on a diet after all this clears up) - he's still eat and drinking and walking and jumping, put when i touch his stomach he growls.

We had to put our cat down today, we thought he only had a tooth infection when we last had the vet checked on him but when we took him today it turns out he has a tumor in his mouth and he was too old and sick for them to do anything. First I had to lose my childhood cat Muffin last year even though she was 19 years old and now we just lost another cat, at least he got to have a good last year his previous owners were pieces of shits that kept him outside and only fed him shitty cheap dry food, its honestly surprising he even managed to live up to 15 years the way they raised him.

If you want the kittens to grow up without being scared of you, so to be able to easily catch them when the time comes, you need them to see you as much as possible, say at least once a day for 10-20 minutes. You watch them from afar, give mom food (she'll start trusting you), talk to them (they'll recognize your voice), and start playing with them from a distance. Be careful not to touch them until they are weaned.
This is what I did last year with the feral cat and her only kitten which I later took (and that recently got adopted). It definitely worked in my case, but that's also probably because the mom also saw me when she a kitten and knows I'm not their food slave - although she never mellowed out nor she let me touch her.

My cats's blood test came back with very elevated ALT (Max. Of 83; he has 113 and she 304). How bad is it? Clearly there's something going on in their liver. He had bloody diarrhea in February due to a intestinal inflammation but antibiotics and probiotics solved it. She barely gains any weight. 8 months old and he weights 4,5KG and she weighs 2,4KG.

I gotta neuter them but I can't with liver enzymes so elevated. I'm worried about them and yes, obviously I'm taking them to the vet again as soon as possible. I'm worried about what this could mean. I don't want their liver to get fucked up. At least I know it's not due to heart condition. Their echocardiogram came back perfectly fine.

You just have to train them to get used to a leash, earlier the better.

My cat used to cuddle and sleep with me every night, and during the day if I laid in bed for a while. But recently I stopped doing so and made him go outside of my room when I'm trying to sleep, because he developed a habit of waking me up in the middle of the night. Now, he usually spends his days sleeping or laying on my couch.

Is this a bad thing? Does he not like me now?

I'm in the same boat. All of my animals are old and dying and it's really starting to get to me. All of my animals are around the same age, 11-16 and they're all starting to show their age. One got breast cancer and had to be put down last year. Another just got diagnosed with liver cancer and she is my favorite and it's going to be tough losing her...

My Chihuahua is almost 16 years old and even though she has trouble walking and became overweight in her senior years she is still chugging along somehow.

You should try to get a prescription for rimadyl for your dog from your vet though, it has helped my Chihuahua a lot in terms of mobility and I'm going to get it for my other dog once he gets to the point he needs an arthritis medication. I just pop it in a peanut butter treat and put it in her mouth every day and she still is able to go on walks. It's pretty cheap too.
>>
>>3787842
There are also several conditions that could cause it so you probably need more tests.
Meanwhile you can check your house for possible toxic substances they could lick off (plants, cleaning products, food scraps they could reach like oily pans, products you use on you) and change their food brand for a while to make sure it's not a bad charge problem, expecially if it's blue buffalo. And of course stop flea medications if you do something like that.

>>3787955
Yes. Just be patient in teaching them the leash means nice things and don't drag them around on it.

I got my cat at a year old from a shelter. He had two previous owners before that had returned him because of his apparent bad behavior. But he is just a baby, he just wants to play all the time. Cats can be assholes if they have bad owners that don't care for them. If you get a kitten or young cat you have to play with them a lot and give them a lot of attention if they are the only pet. They need plenty of stimulation at young ages and if you dont give it to them they can start to cause trouble. But my baby boy is the sweetest kitty ever, he just has a lot of energy from being a baby. Every morning when I wake up the first thing he does his rub his face all over my face then flops onto his back purring for belly rubs. After a while of doing that he'll either want to eat or play and if I dont play with him then he'll run around going crazy and just being a kid. But that's what he is, a kid. Dont expect to get a young cat and have them just be lazy doing nothing all day. They need a lot of love and attention, and if you give it to them they will show you how much they appreciate you. Idk if this makes sense at all I'm currently too drunk to make coherent comments lol.

Tldr: if you get a young kitty make sure you're able and willing to give them all the attention they require or else they might act up. (Pic rel, my little handsome man <3)

I've read many opinions about this online, but I'm curious about your thoughts.
Do you think it's okay to keep and potentially raise a kitten in a ~30sqm/323sqft room/apartment without access to a garden?
>>
>>3788948
I personally don't like it, I suppose it beats being at the shelter. Hope you have big windows and lots of vertical space for him
>>
My cat gave birth yesterday, she seems like the most chilled out mom right now. My other cats were mildly curious but left her alone though the dad has been awfully aggressive with everyone and kept me up half the night.

I’m not sure if he knows that their his or if he just wanted to go into that room since he likes to sleep there, thoughts?
>>
>>3788958
Unfortunately there is only one window, facing a parking lot (ground floor). My ceilings are only about 2.4m high but I could probably build/buy some contraptions to provide the cat with more accessible vertical space.
I don't have a cat yet, but I finally moved into a place the owner of which is fine with pets. I really want one but I feel like that wouldn't be a good life for a cat. I don't want to be selfish.
>>
Anybody have recommendations on litter enclosures? We are moving and don't really have a viable spot for them to just leave them out, so I'd rather try and hide em
>>
>>3788948
I don't see an issue with that, only the hardcore owners with leashes and stuff would (like <1%). My place is around the same and cat spends most of his time near me or in 2-3 other spots anyway. As long as you play with and care for your kitten there would be no issue and that's totally doable in an apartment. You could just throw things for him to fetch or walk around with a string for him to run after.
>>
>>3788962
Update: he seems chill currently and has luckily stopped fighting with my black cat in the back, earlier this morning when my mom was leaving he ran outside to fight with one of the neighbor cats (which is strange since all my cats are indoor cats and he hasn’t tried to get out yet) and then harassed the black one when he got inside so I had to separate them which I never had to do before since at most they just hit each other.

I guess cats are just crazy sometimes.

>>
>>3788969
I know its hard, I tried living without a cat once and immediately foster failed (loved that old man, my first harness walking cat). A window facing a parking lot may not be as bad as it sounds. This was the view my kitties always preferred, they found people much more interesting than grass and birds they couldn't catch. As long as he gets a lot of sun. Maybe you want to get an older cat? you could also volunteer at a shelter to get your kitty fix, or if they have cat cafes in your area you could visit one often
Think long term though, a cat can live 20+ years. You probably wont be in that small space forever, but what is likely to happen in your life in the next 10 years or so?
>>
>>3789003

Yeah the vets said a couple times over the last year it could be herpes but the coughing a few weeks back was new and worrisome, though that stopped right after the visit. I don't know if the vet cleared his nose or if the antiparasite or antibiotic worked that fast or what, but the sniffling stayed either way. Could be allergies too but he's had nose issues for maybe the past year, so probably something else. I got an air purifier in case that helps anyways. He's also up to date on vaccines. I might just start giving lysine to hopefully help his immune system.
>>
>>3789078
does he go outside? any chance he could have gotten in contact with a cat from outside your household bubble? he could've caught something there
if it's herpes its just gonna be a chronic thing, I've known two cats through my shelter system like that there was just no stopping the symptoms unfortunately
>>
>>3789080
He doesn't, that's the strange part, the symptoms started randomly. There was another cat for a while that lived here as well but he had no symptoms and neither did mine until months after he was gone so it doesn't seem related. The second strange thing is his only symptom until recently was sniffling with no visible discharge, no eye discharge, no loss of appetite, no lethargy, nothing. Then he started coughing and the vet said he noticed discharge and I did as well today so now I'm thinking maybe?

Anyway have you known anything that helps with symptoms besides Lysine?
>>
>>3789088
sorry, I don't have much personal experience with feline herpes, especially since it can present so many different ways, and there isn't a good test for it. My kitty "might" have had it, he had bad teeth, some mild scabs and bald spots on his face and broken wiskers, but no the sniffling. I don't know if its one of those things where it can show up later, but if your cat was already inoculated before this other cat came in contact with him the odds are incredibly low that he got it from him. sometimes maybe there are just germs in the world, even for cats. he doesn't "wheeze" at all does he? that could be asthma (and an emergency if it's consistent for over like 2 minutes constant and severe, seen a cat go through that once)
>>
>>3789088
you know looking back at your post it's been weeks right? that might be the time scale it takes to get over an upper respiratory. the antibiotics are just to help prevent secondary infections. in the shelter some cats are better in days, while some take weeks to get over that hump
>>
>>3789095
>>3789098
either way, if your vet doesn't suggest a course of action there's not much you can do or need to do unless he stops eating, using the litter box, or starts acting really lethargic or strange. make sure he's getting enough fluids and maybe try steam if you really paper your kitty
>>
>>3789001
>As long as you play with and care for your kitten there would be no issue
That wouldn't be an issue, non-human company is why I want a cat after all. I'm sure I can take good care of it. What worries me the most are the confined space and having to travel, since I study abroad.
My appartment is 37sqm by the way, I don't know why i rounded it down to 30.
Does your cat ever scratch furniture?
>>3789057
>Maybe you want to get an older cat?
I thought about that, but all the old cats in the local shelter are outdoor ones, except for really sick ones, that require more experienced owners.
>or if they have cat cafes in your area
Forgot they exist actually, apparently there is one. That's cool. Unfortunately it's closed due to covid.
>but what is likely to happen in your life in the next 10 years or so?
I either kill myself or get a stable enough life where I will want a cat and/or dog anyway. I guess the former wouldn't be good for the cat.
>>
>>3789095
>>3789098
Funny you mention that, I did see him do something like https://youtu.be/AAtHof0XNE8 in the past, but rarely and less than a minute, so I also thought he could have asthma and wanted to test for that. For the sniffling it's been almost a year at this point but I guess it got worse in the past weeks and like I said the coughing was new but stopped now. And there's no other symptoms, he still eats, drinks, shits and plays. I'll try giving Lysine anyways since he seems to be prone to get sick randomly, he's getting on the old side at 12 now. I tried keeping him with me in the bathroom while running a hot shower but he wasn't a fan lol

How come decawing a cat is considered inhumane but having a cat neutered is not? Personally I'd rather have my fingernails cut than have my balls cut off.
>>
>>3789237
Fingernails is a false equivalent. It would be like removing up to the last joints in your fingers.

Going to have a visitor with cat allergies soon. Any tips on how to help them desk with it?

What's the best way to deal with matted fur on a longhair cat? I try to brush her as often as I can but still somehow these mats pop up and then once it's there it grows and gets worse until I do something about it... I mean I guess if I leave them long enough they'd probably fall off on their own but I'd feel bad doing that. Usually my strategy has been to use a flea comb to get under it and then very carefully clip them off with scissors but I always feel anxious doing that and my cat also gets anxious after a while and starts making sudden jerks in an attempt to escape or something but which I worry will get her accidentally stabbed one of these days. Is there a better strategy?
>>
>>3789213
don't bathe your cat unless he got dunked in oil or skunk or something else severe
>>
>>3789232
it's that dope that always posts "hitlerina" and he tried to drag her around on a harness once without any training and he doesn't understand at all when he's doing something wrong he's an empty headed annoying pos that shouldn't have a cat
>>
>>3789346
>if I leave them long enough they'd probably fall off on their own
they don't
get some electric trimmers to trim them off
>>
>>3789540
Is using hair an electric hair clipper for humans a bad idea?
>>
>>3789540
my cat flips out when I use them on myself in another room, your cats actually stand for that?

>>3789346
wish I knew for longhair.
on my old shorthair I wasn't keen on using scissors that close to the body, so i would trim off the end of the clump to get a cross section that I could work with and separate the fur from the gunk in the middle. once it starts coming apart it would break up back to brushable, slightly trimmed, fur.
>>
>>3789538
i see. I haven't seem en, i don't hang around in /an/ very often
>>
>>3789560
>your cats actually stand for that?
I guess I have a way with cats, once they know that they dont hurt and even feel a little good (like a light scratching in a spot that's been dirty for some time) they tend to allow it, though many draw the line at allowing me to shave their actual butt, that one I leave for a groomer or vet

you just gotta go slow, let them sniff it when its off, maybe have it low on charge so it's slower and quieter, stop when they tell you to stop, be very careful and give pets or treats inbetween sessions

Are there any general differences in behavior between male and female cats that would make one a better pet than the other?
>>
>>3789674
I tend to see more differences between cats in terms of litter mate dynamics (there's usually a bold one that is the first to do things, a protector that will put themselves between the other kittens and a danger, the aggresive hyper overbearing one, the shy one who hangs back and is the last to try new things, many of these traits are mix and match)

on average I see adult female cats tend to be less friendly to other cats though on the whole not always hostile, they just don't make friends as much as male cats do, male cats tend to have a more relaxed feel to them while female cats might be a little more tense

I've seen all kinds on all sides, female cats that love other cats, male cats that will literally scream at other cats, cats of both genders that love to be held, or stand on your shoulders, or not want to be picked up at all. Statistics can't really help you predict what a random cat will be like in your home just based on external physical traits

A healthy cat should smell slightly oily, not unlike birds or babies + whatever it's chilling on. Some people just can't stand that fresh oily smell, others love it.
>>
>>3789748
outside of extreme obvious medical cases cats hardly have a smell at all. maybe it's anal glands?

Room in sqm isn't too important if the cat gets enough stimulation to not be bored. You can easily use the walls and ceiling to create an adventure playground for young cats.

>non-human company is why I want a cat after all.
It's not a chill 10+ year old cats company though, in the worst case scenario you'll have to take care of a manipulative toddler on speed foor about the first year and you should be prepared to be very annoyed:
- demans playing chase and fight for 20 minutes every other hour and also at 2 and 4 in the night
- learns quickly that even a tired you will get up to 'play' again if it sreams really loudly, destroys your favourite furniture or playfully attacks harder and more often that usual
- no way to get a nights sleep than to leave it locked in the bathroom howling

What to do about a cat that terrorizing your own cats?
It's twice as big as my own cats (who are still kittens), and it will waylay them as soon as they step outside the door.
I've tried scaring it away whenever I see it, but it just returns later. Now it's even started sneaking in the door to steal food. It seems to be well enough groomed and fed to owned by someone, but there is no visible tatoos.
I live in a country where I'll be billed if I turn it over to a kennel, or get someone to pick it up, and it turns out it has no owner. I'm not going to spend any money on this fat bastard.
Unless someone has a foolproof way to send it packing for good, I'm simply planning to catch and release it in the other end of town.
>>
>>3790105
Oh and I don't want to physically harm it (other letting it fend for itself another place)
