>>3751298guys could you pls go to your garden/ local forrest and make pics of the isopods? maybe we find a special color or new species!
>>3751298>This armor suits you, but it cannot hide that mark
>>3751298Pretty sure that's a pill millipede and not an isopod in that video. Look at the body segment count, it's way too high, same with the leg count and its antennae are just bizarre. I was lied to, this video is false advertising.
>>3751383how much color variety can there possibly be with these things? All the ones Ive seen are dark grey
>>3751836agreed yeahhowever, both are based. I've got a nice tub of substrate with springtails, various species of isopod, and pill millipedes.
>>3752006Now you gotta post pics, anon. Also have you had any success in getting your pill millipedes to breed?
>>3751999I've seen indigo ones, but that's due to a viral infection.
>>3751999I found some "red"&black, different brown tones with black/grey/white porcellio scaber and oniscus asellus with big green spots
>>3752224Sounds interresting, would love some pic
>>3752409Specifically it's an infection of Invertebrate Iridescent Virus 31, which forms semi-crystalline microstructures that reflect indigo light. Sadly, the disease is terminal when it reaches this stage, and the infected woodlouse dies in a week or so.
>>3751999i wanna get a colony of rubber duckies going.
>>3751432Nothing ever will...
I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords
>>3753292Isopods are crustaceans, not insects.
>>3753122Thank you! Poor isopods :(
>>3753122you should bring some hairspray and a lighter to cleanse the infected
>>3751383sure why not
>>3751298op pic is isopodop video is millipedecurious?
>>3754447He looks so smug
>>3751383nothing special here
>>3751383Here is isopod with spider
>>3758430are they friends or did the spider eat it
>>3758455I didn’t watch him long enough to find out. I think they’re friends though because there were a bunch of isopods around him that didn’t seem to care.
>>3751298they smell like shrimp
There's the isopod one, and then Glomeris Marginata. The brown/grey isopod ones are so ugly. The g. marginata ones roll into better spheres, too, and more instinctually.
>>3751999You'd be surprised
>>37512982009 video jesus
>>3751298Childhoods were built off of this bug
>>3758455That spider looks pretty fat on isopods
They're kinda cute actually. Especially the one that looks like a duck. Or Sorocco isopods.
