I was a vagabond living in the mountains of Boulder Colorado, and had a few interesting interactions with this black bear, he was a real thief, them are my feet in the photo
>>3695975How did you get by?
>>3695975What did you do when he got that close?
I applied for disability due to a bogus diagnosis of schizophrenia and lived somewhat off of that, but I must of not received that much cause I still remember getting most of my food out of the garbage, they had a store that would throw away fresh bread, fresh sushi, a lot of fresh stuff. My gear though, I definitely got with the check. I got a lot of awesome gear. I had a hammock though that I stole, which I regret. Boulder people were really nice, I wouldn't want to steal from them but gear is expensive. I almost think they knew and let me go, cause the alarm went off and they still let me go. Here's my hideout complete with hummingbird feeder. I didn't live in the mountains forever, the bear got too intimidating and would steal everything.
>>3696010I think I just stood my ground. I forget. But I do remember I was the first to alarm him to my presence earlier or after this photo, when he was crawling around the rocks I crawled up and sort of snuck up on him to say hi, and was all like wazzzup. I kept my distance but he got a little startled. I cant remember if I did that before or after this photo. Cause I think this photo was the first time I saw him. Maybe he didn't notice me and I just sat there in this photo.
This when he would perch up right above where I slept and would just lamp out there knowing I was right by him. Once we were sitting together, I below, he above, and I got up to stretch all casual, and he got like really offended and snarled at me. I was like ok ok sorry, and sat back down, and he returned to just chilling. But he got offended like a little kid, not like an alpha bear.
>>3695975Did you encounter any niggers by chance?
>>3696013Are you sure it was bogus?
>>3696041Haha. Good question... but I don't really believe in schizophrenia, it comprises too huge a range of people with all different dispositions. For instance, what about Pablo Amaringo and all the other Visionary artists for Ayahuasca. He paints a whole range of spiritual beings that he attributes to the reality of Ayahuasca visions. No one calls him schizo. They know him as a former shaman. We don't have a Shamanic perspective in the west. That would be the antidote to schizophrenia.
>>3696038No, that's why i left city.
>>3696107Based
did you ever give him food?
>>3695975looks like a young bearjust hit it and scream and it will fuck off
Yeah ok shizo
>>3696041Actually what did you really mean by that bro?
Cool bear. I usually bang stones togethers while walking through black bear territory, they aren't particularly aggressive towards the locals due to being fed from the nearby dump but I know mother bears will likely avoid other bears and encountering a mother bear with cubs is the worse possible scenario. That or a moose during the rut or a wolf pack, mother bear with cubs are up there
