Hey. So I bought my first home, and I start paying property taxes in march. Should I pay it monthly or quarterly? Which method saves me money?thanks ppl.
Neither method saves money, it just depends on which way is most convenient to you.
Why dont you have it included with your mortgage
>>28195682^Bot Detected. Property taxes are local county level taxes. Federal level has nothing to do with it. Local/state area could abolish all property taxes if they wanted.
>>28195544You don't save money paying taxes. You waste the least money by paying it off before the end of the first month, otherwise they tack on penalties and it keeps increasing the tax rate.

>>28195757That depends on how you budget and like to pay your bills. There's no better, just whatever you personally prefer.
Well, thanks all for your opinions.Ill probably go with quarterly payments.
Dont pay em,get richer.

>>28195544In a world in which banks gave decent interest on savings, delaying payments would give you more time to collect interest. In the real world, we're talking pennies, and your best choice - if you can afford it - is to pay it all at once and get it over with.
